Good takeaway food as usual but can see no reason why card payments of under £5 are not accepted. The nearby newsagent is happy to take debit card payment for a 90p newspaper. In this day and age when people are understandably less willing to use cash this smacks of poor customer service.

First class fish suppers. A previous experience found chips to be very pale and soft, not this time, absolutely spot on😁 No hesitation in recommending.

I had fish suppers here for first time in probably 30 years. It has been updated and changed hands at least once since then. The batter on the haddock was nice and crisp. It was not oily and the chips were soft but not greasy. Overall the fish and chips is very good and I will happily go back when I’m in town.

Just walked out of another local chip shop in Newton Mearns due to appalling customer service and drove to Buon Appetito a mile away . What a pleasure . Great staff and forgot how good the fish in this place is . Amazing ... be back again soon

No he conocido a ningún otro chippies que haga un haggis sin gluten, probé uno de aquí y fue fantástico. Las patatas fritas eran perfectas y los aros de cebolla sin gluten también eran buenos. He comido pizza, salchichas y pescado de gf de aquí en el pasado y lo disfruté todo. Tenía la salsa tártara casera, me gustó pero no estaba lo suficientemente picante para mí. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que busque un chippy sin gluten. Ordenó por teléfono para recoger y estaba listo para recoger cuando llegó.

Got very overpriced pepperoni pizza last night with very little on it for over £8 and almost an hour to wait!!!!!!!!

Visité Buon Appetito esta noche martes 20 de agosto. Como resultado, mi pariente ordenó una pizza de jamón y una pizza de pollo picante.Al llegar a casa, pasó mi caja de pizza. The Meat tasted nice but the bun was burned and I only saw that when I got home. Overall seems like a good place for food but a burned bun is unacceptable :(

Best chippy in the area. Food always fresh and gluten free options available which is fantastic as I have 2 daughters who are coeliac.

Great food ,friendly staff and definitely worth a try We loved the pizzas especially the spicy chicken. It was delicious and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.Very handy if you live near clarkston

Paid £7.60 for a large gluten free fish super. Cold, overpriced and served by staff, colder than the food. Would not recommend. Bon apetito?! More like Bon apet-cheato, that’s how you’ll be left feeling after eating from here.

Has an extensive gluten free menu. We had ordered gluten free fish, pizza and onion rings. It was tasty even tho pizza was cold by time we got home. Also kids menu options. Worth a visit.

Great food, extremely tasty and amazing chips. Ask for anything out of the ordianry as soon as you go in, my daughters chicken nuggets took a while to cook but were worth it in the end.

Decidimos visitar Buon appetito el domingo 26 de marzo de 2017 (Día de la madre) para algunos dulces chips.

No puedo recomendar este lugar alto! Yo y mi marido pidió una cena especial de pescado y fue el mejor que hemos tenido con diferencia. Era tan bueno que mi marido estaba todavía estamos hablando al día siguiente! ! ! Gracias por una excelente comida!

Mi hija ha sido diagnosticada con la enfermedad, así que me ceoliac estaba muy satisfecho cuando vi un banner grande fuera de este "fish and chips" declarando que tenían comida sin gluten. Crecí cerca y siempre he pensado que era un buen Appetito Buon chippy así que esta era una buena noticia.

Called ahead to order supper. 15 minutes later had my dinner. Served quickly and on my way. Tasty batter and very good fish, chips were a little bit soggy but ok. Good value,enjoyed my meal.

Can I just say how great it is that a chippy offers such an extensive GF range, went in tonight for a GF fish supper and I loved it. Being coeliac can really restrict your options for a takeaway, usually it's curry or McDonald chips but now that I've discovered this chippy I'll Defo be back. Dissapointed, very poor service. We were standing for quite a long time before being served. The staff were talking to each other first before even serving us. Unprofessional. Food is not that good either. All I can tell you is we won't be back.

Have stayed close to this location for over 40 years and had many visits to this shop, I have never been disappointed on the service or quality of my purchases.Over the years there has been changes and additions to cater more for children and those with dietary needs. This makes it very popular to all local residents but no matter how busy it is, you never have long to wait for your order, and it is always fresh and piping hot.

All I can say is why have I not tried here before. After working in the chippy trade for years I became fussy but was then diagnosed coeliac and it became impossible to find a fish supper without travelling breadth of Scotland. Well after tonight I won't be stepping foot into any other chippy is worth the drive down from EK. Great customer service and clean working environment. Keep up the good work guys.

I've had countless visits to this take-away shop over the years. Invariably a very good experience. All fish freshly prepared. This sometimes means a bit of a wait for food but it's much better to avoid fish that has been kept warm for ages after being fried.Efficient staff can handle the large number of customers at peak times.Orders can be placed in advance. Big oven for making custom pizzas. Gluten free batter option.

Always greeted with a smile by the owners, this could be the best fish and chips in Glasgow. Nowhere else has measured up. Fairly priced, fresh and piping hot. Definitely our 'go-to' place.

This is not our love cal choppy but we always go there because of the quality of menu. In fact, one of the first things my bother from jersey does when he visits is to go there for their special fish supper. Great place. I highly recommend it

Enjoyed a gluten free pizza with chips. Ive had gluten free pizza from dominos and you cant compare. Nice and light, various topping choices and chips are also delicious. Great customer service as given complimentary gluten free onion rings and pakora to try,very tasty. Ive also had the fish supper which is great too. Makes you feel normal. Would definitely recommend.

I have had many ' chippies' in my time but this one beats them all hands down! For freshness and friendly staff

I was staying at the nearby Busby Hotel but did not want a full meal as I knew I would be eating again later so went to Buon Appitito for a fish supper. My initial thought was that, at £6.40, it was a bit expensive but that was before I got my meal; two full pieces of fish and a large portion of chips, sufficient for 2 people. In fact, I said so to a friend later and he confirmed that he and his wife often share a fish supper from here. In future I will know to order the mini fish supper.As to the meal itself, Beautifully cooked fish in fantastic crispy batter. Nice firm chunky chips, again cooked perfectly. All in all a very tasty meal, good value and served by cheerful staff. I would definately go back.

What a superb Fish and Chip Shop? I can only eat Gluten Free, and the GF Food is wonderful. The Owners are very knowledgable about GF food preparation, which is very re-assuring, I will be back... Often.

I have been going to this chip shop on and off for over 30 years and must have bought hundreds of suppers from there!It is a proper Italian family chip shop. The chips are excellent, made on the premises and everything is cooked in top quality clean oil, if there is one thing you can say about this place is that it is very very clean.The fish is good and always fresh, the pizza is also very good, I honestly do believe that this is the best chip shop in Clarkston and surrounding areas (including East Kilbride).

Great place to get a fish supper that could actually feed two. Never have to wait any time to get my order.
