Constantly changing consistently peng menu, lovely staff, genuinely my favourite brunch spot in London. I take everyone who ever visits me to this spot and it boggles their noggin.

Bühler and Co serves meat-free brunch dishes which hit your brunch cravings easily. It is a local favourite and we can definitely see why. They offer quality produced cooked well and feels light and bright. It didn’t blow us away but neither did it leave us disappointed so would likely go again when there’s often not an appeal to travel intro Central London from where we live. We've already been a couple of times with our most recent visit a week or so ago. Pictured are three of their breakfast bagels, two of their seasonal french toasts and an oak milk latte.

ordered some food for my daughter (which was not aligned to the kids menu - but was made up of Sides), the server huffed and puffed about this had the grump for the rest of the lunch. All other service and food was excellent, as it always had been - maybe we caught her on an off day. But i won't be going back.

Very cute and cozy experience. Definitely recommend. Coffee is rich and fast. Service is heart-warming.

Have eaten here for years and always enjoyed it but, like with so many places in E17, the service for sitdown customers is being ruined and severely delayed by deliveroo orders overrunning the kitchen. Over an hour waiting today, we were just about to leave... sack the deliveroo profiteering during peak service hours..

Really lovely food - lots of variety on the menu. Service is great and vibe is fab.

Good coffee and food, but let down by not one but two unattentive waitresses who forgot to take our order (they even served people who arrived after us, before us). I couldn't even get their attention to take our order. Not impressed!

A lovely place for brunch. Service was really good and the food was very tasty. A bit of a twist from a standard brunch menu. The Parantha was a nice touch. Luckily we didn’t need to book but it was very busy. We will definitely come back with some friends.

Nice place and friendly service. But the coffees are tiny. It's served in minute glasses (where did they even find glasses that small?), and the food portions arent large either, considering the price. Shame. Because it all tasted quite good.

Really disappointed as this restaurant has fallen in quality. Used to be amazing food with lovely and pleasant staff. Front of house is now short and rude. Just read the other reviews to see others agree with this. Unfriendly is the vibe now. Senior management isn’t investigating this. Now with regards to my order the eggs were so hard. Their excuse, well shocked me. They claim that because the eggs travelled 8 minutes to get to me they can become very hard. What a joke. Hard eggs or hard boiled eggs are not what happens to a poached egg during travel. The chef cannot cook them. Chef used to be amazing!! Now they cannot cook a poached egg. This is so true because we’ve eaten there and been served same hard eggs and also picked up a take away only to eat it across in the park nearby 2 min walk away. Look at the pictures to see what I’m talking about.

What was once a revered brunch venue is now a chaotic shambolic rude mess. Arrived at 2.45pm on a Saturday. Was told by the staff member that the kitchen was closed. I told her I had called before and she said the kitchen closes at 3pm. She then said to me it was 3pm when it was actually 2.45pm. When I showed her the time and pointed to your clock she then sighed and let me in to order. The staff member in question is an Asian girl (I don’t have her name unfortunately.) She is very rude and tries to close up shop sometimes an hour before. I’ve tried calling you to place takeaways a good hour before and called so many times. Then near closing time this same staff member calls me and says she’s returning my call, purposively minutes before they are closing rather than within the timeframe to ensure I can put through an order. Very rude staff. Miss the amazing staff that used to work here.

Lovely brunch spot. I had the mushrooms and scrambled eggs on toast, OH has the halloumi bagel. Both were super tasty.

Although the food and coffee were of good standard, the service and general atmosphere were very disappointing when we visited. The waitress that served us (last weekend) was very short and unaccommodating - we just didn’t feel very welcome throughout. This kind of attitude also impacts on the wider atmosphere of the place, which felt heavy beyond our personal experience with poor service. We won’t be back, there are much friendlier places in the area.

Went on a Sunday and although we were seated promptly, the service was very shoddy. The wait staff all seemed like in a huff and not very pleasant. The food was okay; perhaps I'm biased because of the poor service but it really wasn't memorable. Had the hash with poached egg and the portion size is generous but the hash is thick and mushy. The coffee was good, mind. The back garden is a bit tired and stuffy and they've put in a lot of tables and while its tight but doesn't feel very cosy. Don't think I will head back to the spot.

The best brunch I have ever had in London. Very innovative menu. Have a lovely garden space. Definitely recommend.

Veggie Fry Up is the best breakfast in Walthamstow and I say that as meat eater.

The breakfast was so good I didn’t even have time to photograph it 😂📸 We had the hash breakfast and it was EPIC. I don’t leave reviews that often but was compelled to leave one for this place. Nice atmos. Great coffee. And decent portion sizes. I’m leaving the cafe full, which is sometimes rare. 💯

I was in the area and always wanted to come for bfast/brunch. One of the tastiest breakfasts I had in a while (Vege Fry Up); the coffee was fab, and the staff was fantastic. A local gem. I wish I lived nearer, but worth the travel and coming back again soon. Thanks, crew!

The inside was packed and very noisy so we sat in the enclosed backyard and it was hot. The food was tasty and different.

Oh hello! - what an amazing find! My new favourite spot for food in the Stow. 3 of us went for brunch, service was great, sat straight away in their amazing outdoor space during a busy Saturday lunchtime. Food couldn't be faulted, even ordering the kids cheesy toast soldiers as a cheeky extra! - now back to try the rest of the menu!

Very busy, nice bustling atmosphere. Food was nice, not particularly spectacular.

Came in here a bit later on a Sunday (close to closing). Had the Banh Mi bagel and the tofu udon - food was tasty, hit the spot, was filling, and reasonably priced. They are also kid friendly (the table next to us had a dog and pram). Would recommend especially if you’re in the area for the day as the William Morris Gallery is just round the corner.

Lovely vegetarian brunch here. The food is fresh and tasty, and presented attractively. The rosti is particular is beautiful on the plate. Strong recommend.

Casual brunch place with a nice garden area. Food is very well made with good portion sizes. Drinks menu is pretty large for what is basically a breakfast place. Selection of alcoholic & virgin cocktails, as well as all the traditional juices, teas, coffees that you would expect. Recommend reservations on the weekend. £20-40 per person.

So, so, so delicious. Umami Udon Bowl and Potato & Parsnip Rösti both full of great flavours and textures. Also, they chop-up well to eat one-handed whilst balancing a toddler, who ended up pinching a fair few of the noodles to complement her cheesy soldiers! Coffee also very good.

Delicious french toast although was very sweet overall and my husband had the quinoa cakes which tasted amazing with the mole. Buhler never disappoints.

1st time at this nice vegetarian restaurant, everything on the menu sounds like it’s going to be delicious. I ordered the poached eggs on sourdough with avocado and wasn’t disappointed, perfectly poached Clarence Court eggs, crunchy toasted bread and perfectly ripe avocado, and presentation was 1st class. The coffee was full flavoured although I’d have liked a bigger mug . The staff are very personable and attentive so 5 stars to the workers . Can’t wait to go back and explore the menu .

Great food, lovely coffee. The menu is small but everything on it is great. Staff are also very friendly.

It was very busy when we arrived so couldn't say it was a relaxing experience. We tried the vegan fry up which was really quite different and excellent flavours and texture. The initial waitress was a little abrupt but the senior waitress who took the order was much more cheerful. Cold wind through the front door meant we ate and left.

Great drinks, the smoothie was delicious. Food was great too very nice vegetarian food & lots of vegan options too.

Food was good, coffee was nice, just mindlessly expensive compared to your average hipster London brunch place.

I had bagel with butter mushroom and fried egg with cheeese, I swear, one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. This pumped me up for the rest of the day. The egg was so fluffy with melted cheese and it was so easy to have it, it wasn’t messy. Tried the fried halloumi, was a tad bit salty. Hot chocolate was so thick, and loved the consistency. Would love to try more dishes. But this one would be my favourite. The staff was extremely friendly and they do have nice seating area indoors and outdoors. Cheers guys!

Rude and unwelcoming Saturday manager. Said dogs were allowed but after we sat down our dog barked a couple of times. She said her waitress was scared of dogs and made us feel super uncomfortable and said it was better if we left. Horrible behaviour towards customers. Never going back, much nicer places around.

Service was friendly, the food was absolutely banging and the little garden at the back is nice on a sunny day :-) Would recommend the vege fry-up to anyone or the toast with fig and mascarpone...

Very good service and great food! We had a very lovely brunch there. Our poached eggs were overcooked and not runny but they immediately offered to replace them and they were perfect the second time around.

Food so delicious, we didn't realise it was veggie! For real... the first time we ever visited, we had the breakfast and didn't realise it was vegetarian. What's more, we didn't miss the bacon - high praise, right?! The menu is brunch focused and delicious.

Splendid cappuccino and vege fry up. Added on some marinated tempeh for the extra protein and the meal was complete! Highly recommended

Love the place for breakfast. The French toast is excellent, as are the other options we’ve tried, including the veg breakfast. It gets really busy on a weekend so you need to book and it can be lively with lots of young families, but then where isn’t in Walthamstow?

Came here by chance as we were staying locally but glad we chose it! The food was delicious, I had the breakfast bagel but in the end I was left jealous of my wife's vege breakfast which looked absolutely unreal (and she assured me it was). The coffee and service was great too.

Amazing first experience at buhler, we had the avocado on toast and vege breakfast, both really fresh, tasty and hot. Interiors are really nice and staff friendly There's three spaces to sit, in the cafe, in the middle covered outside area and the back room. We were in the middle and it was lovely. Not a negative but be aware if it's a cold day sitting in the middle area may be a bit cold unless the heaters are on.

The staff and food are amazing.

One of those places where the food really deserves all the stars. Had the brioche French toast, the peanut butter smoothie, an Americano, a latte and the quinoa balls. Everything was absolutely amazing. We sat in the back art shed part which was beautiful and bright. It is dog friendly. The only thing to note is no one told us we had to pay up at the front and we waited for the cheque to come without knowing.

My absolute favourite lunch/ brunch spot, beats everyone else hands down. The Vege breakfast is divine! Bit rowdy with so many kids and mum's always in there, but it's a residential neighbourhood so to be expected, and if you want it a bit more peaceful, just sit indoors.

I love this place. Delicious, original veggie food. Fabulous avo on toast with dukka and feta; quinoa cakes always delicious, try them even if you think you don’t like quinoa! Freshly squeezed juice combos are pricey but fresh and delicious and portions are large. Coffee is excellent. Cakes are glorious especially the chocolate and halva brownies. Service always friendly even when things get hectic. You sometimes have to wait a while on a busy day but it’s a small kitchen so I think they do brilliantly. V surprised to see a review below saying it’s not child friendly, it’s always heaving with babies and toddlers when I go and they all seem to be doing fine! Will always be a regular coffee and lunch spot for me.

Vegetarian and vegan food par excellence

Heads up, I didn't eat here so my review is just based on the service and coffee. I had the Burundi filter and I could've kept going back for more! It was so well balanced and just what I needed. The staff were really knowledgeable and they made such a great team. Keep up the good work guys! Next time I'll grab some food

I have been to Buhler since they opened and whilst the food is delicious, the standards of cleanliness, despite never being the best, have been getting worse and worse. sadly I wont be doing back until I know this has improved. The water jugs look like they are never cleaned, the tea trays have layers of dried tea and when the staff wipe the tables they just wipe all the food onto the floor. Its a real shame.

A great place for weekend brunch with lots of great veggie and vegan options. Avocado on toast with dukkah with poached egg is very tasty and the coffee is great too.

Had eggs on sourdough wmushrooms ooms. Nice but SWIMMING in butter. Staff very off. It is really only a glorified caff. Wouldn't go back

Didn't know what to expect, we saw a picture online of the food and thought we would try it. Fairly average overall! We walked in just to be told we require a reservation for breakfast even though there were loads of free tables, they did manage to accommodate us though. Inside it was freezing and hard to enjoy your food with your winter coat on. The cafe is family friendly so don't expect it to be quiet, we had a screaming new born next to us the whole time. They do redeem themselves with an excellent coffee. The food was however mediocre, the french toast was not soaked in custard properly and was dry in the middle and the poached pear was overcooked. Not enough pistachios on the plate. I think there is room for improvement with just a little more attention to detail and maybe some working radiators as we're going into the cold season.

Good variety of Vege food here. Came for breakfast and had the Vege Fry up, very nice. Reasonable serving size for the money. Knocking off a star due to the pathetically small (but yet still normal price) coffee servings.

Went on a Sunday for brunch. Despite the menu saying there was a vegan version of the veggie breakfast, we were told that this wasn't the case. The only vegan option was a bagel which is disappointing for a veggie café. The food was fine but overpriced and I wouldn't say it merits a service charge. Coffee also very small.

I was overcharged by £5 for breakfast. When I queried this, the red haired female member of staff at the till snapped 'all the prices are on the menu." She snatched the receipt from my hand, still didn't listen to me when I repeated what I had ordered, when she recalculated this I was given me a refund. Please lose the rude attitude.

It was OK, we went because one of our family was vegan, however it wasn't really for me, a pretty plain menu and incredibly small cups of cool coffee!

Glad to have a nice café in E17 try★Gadogado, fryup, french toast . Nice coffee I hope they'll have more cake/pastry choice like before.

Fantastic and well priced brunch options and coffee.

Really disappointed with brunch this past Saturday. This is my second experience of Buhler and Co and both times I've found the food and drinks to be really over-priced and under-flavoured. The breakfast bagel was dry, the halloumi had lost all flavour (like it had been deep-fried the previous day and left in the fridge?), the fried egg was oily and there was just a trace of the "house tomato relish". Just not a good meal at all. Add to that £3.50 (plus 35 tip) for a small bottle of pasturised green juice... Sorry but I won't give this a third try! (Oh, and we were told to leave after 90 mins because they needed the table. We might have stayed for another coffee but weren't allowed.)

What a gem for a nice meal. Breakfast was colourful and creative. Coffee strong and rich in flavour. Very happy overall and recommend with strong confidence.
