Lovely little restaurant but can be very noisy depending on where you are sat. Biggest disappointment was the food, started our garlic bread arrived burnt and the steaks were hit and miss. Some burnt in the outside while others perfect. Overall a nice experience but nothing special

Impromptu visit for an early dinner with the wife, service was perfect as were the dishes. We had Padron peppers to start with the chorizo with caramelized onions. I tried the Lomo which was cooked to perfection and my wife tried the BA Burger which was out of this world. Wouldn't normally recommend a burger in a steak restaurant but Im going back to have one myself.

Excellent food and place to dine. Staff were exceptional and food was served all together and on pipeing hot plates. It doesn’t take much to impress us diners and we’re all pleased with the food and atmosphere in this superb restaurant. Well done all staff, you were 10/10.

De vrais steaks argentins cuits à la perfection! Je me suis régalé! Et le serveur m'a proposé un très bon choix de vons pour accompagner la viande, j'ai choisi un délicieux Malbec. J'ai vraiment retrouvé les saveurs que j'avais appréciées à Buenos Aires, ce qui est très rare dans des restaurants en dehors d'Argentine. Manager (d'origine italienne) très sympa avec qui j'ai pas mal discuté, un passionné de son métier, c'est beau à voir!

We went here for a meal, as well as other BA restaurants and OMG is it worth visiting. The vibes they create with the background music are spot on, the grub is also like eating at a 5* michelin top of the range establishment and the staff are also very respectful and welcoming too! The aubergine and goats cheese starter topped the feast off for me

A real treat - delicious steak, excellent creamed spinach and one of the best house reds I’ve had!

I’ve never felt less impressed at a plate of unprepared, unrested steak in my life. I ordered medium to well done fillet steak. It came out rare, I asked for it to be cooked and rested a little longer. 5 mins later it came out as medium rare and zero rested, so I ended up with undercooked meat for my taste and a plate swimming with blood. My wife asked for medium rare and received it blue, she also asked for it to be cooked a little longer, just for it to be slightly seared on the outside and still blue in the middle. Neither of us were able to eat our meal. All of that for a £136.58 Needless to say, I do not recommend Buenos Aires in Reigate.

Had the best 12oz fillet steak in a long long time!! Tender, perfectly cooked and no fat whatsoever, simply amazing!!

Excellent meal at the Argentian steak House. Steak and sides were all perfectly good and the service and friendly and efficient. Thank you to Luis, our waiter who made our visit so enjoyable. Reasonably priced for the meal we were served and relaxed comfortable restaurant. We would recommend it and will come back ourselves

Great friendly service and nice restaurant that’s very clean, but unfortunately the food is just not worth the price. The steak was over cooked and was quite tasteless. The meat needed more seasoning (we couldn’t taste any) and didn’t seem like very high quality.

Booked a very very last minute/late reservation for my birthday. Food was great and overall the vibes in the place were amazing (though the music choice was... Interesting). Got the steak and it was definitely worth the cost. Service was some of the best I've had too, speed was ridiculous.

Buenos Aires Steakhouse turned an ordinary weekday into an extraordinary dining affair, proving that exceptional food, superb service, and the best steak I've ever had the pleasure to grace my lips, even on the most unexpected of nights.10/10 would recommend to anyone. Had a great time here. The place was clean, the food was awesome and the service was extremely friendly. There was a little bit of confusion with one item on the menu and this was quickly cleared up. The starters, mains and desserts were all tasty and very generous sizes. We've wanted to go here for quite a while and on the strength of this visit I would definitely go again. One of the best restaurants in Reigate, easily.

Came for my Grandad’s 90th Birthday today and the service, hospitality and food were all incredibly. Truly made all of our days, especially Grandad’s. I am Gluten and Dairy free too and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

A bit more pricey than your average restaurant, but this is not an average restaurant, and you get what you pay for.

Nice staff and restaurant but average food. It's okay for steak and chips but the meat wasn't anything special. I've had better for less for sure. Staff were very nice and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and feeling to it. Steak comes as a slab of meat but I think it would be better presented as a line of sliced chunks with a sprinkle of rock salt. I found it rather expensive for what it is.

Cannot fault the actual steak ordered but other elements mean a lower rating. The house red was also delicious. The side salad cost £4.50 and can only be described as “most basic”. The leaves were of very low quality - the type you’d be happy with if you’d bought a “basics” bag from supermarket. This undermined the whole meal because the sides make the steak shine! The service was nice; very pleasant staff. But the restaurant itself feels and looks grubby. There was visible dust and grime on ledges and windowsills. I also don’t appreciate establishments that add service charge for what is actually just “what a restaurant does”. We were a table of 2 - no special treatment - being asked to pay 12.5% extra for what was a essentially a highly priced meal. I would have tipped of my own will if not patronised.

Very disappointed with the food last night. We went there for a birthday treat meal at 6.30pm. They had already 'run out' of lamb so my wife had to order the chicken schnitzel as she doesn't eat beef. It was rock hard and impossible to cut. She persevered for a bit as we don't like to complain but it was impossible to eat so we had to inform the waiter who was very apologetic and arranged a replacement. This was much better but what was the chef thinking serving up the first one as it was inedible. Expected better from a meal that cost us £120 for 3 people. Waiter and waitresses were nice and attentive.

GCSE results night. Seems we always find an excuse to eat here, and we're never disappointed. Food and service are great.

I don’t know whether the restaurant has been taken over, but it was a totally different experience steaks weren’t very good (Waiter) I had to get up to get his attention on several occasions sitting there with a plate full of chewed steak not once did he ask me how was my meal and when I complained after I paid for the meal nothing not even sorry where have the lovely caring waiting staff gone won’t be going back there again

The food was outstanding. Absolutely lovely. I've had many good steaks in my time, and tonight's was right up there. Service was well paced too.

Restaurant was ok but the food was disappointing. Starter was very greasy, the waiter asked if it was ok (wasn’t eaten) didn’t seemed fazed by it being greasy and didn’t offer a replacement, just said ok. Steak was nice, chips were under cooked and sides were average. Overall we left feeling unsatisfied.

The service was mediocre/ OK but the whole vibe was terrible. Sat by the window which had a cill covered in food which had been flicked from the table during the three squirt, wipe down clean. Wine was nice and starters turned up quite quickly but the mains, which were simple steaks, took over 60 mins. Ended up leaving without having our main course as we had been waiting for ages. The waiter was great but the venue and general attention to detail was way off the mark. The gentleman’s toilet was a mass puddle of piss and the whole venue felt a little shabby. I remember when Buenos Aries was something special, now it’s totally lost it’s way - this is what happens when the management turn their back on the establishment. It was our first experience visiting this establishment - on arrival we were met and seated promptly - the ambience was relaxed and we were not rushed to choose our food - to begin with we ordered two pornstar martini’s, not the best we’ve had they tasted quite artificial and the glasses were a little on the small side however the glass of red was very drinkable. We ordered some starters that were absolutely lovely and of high quality ingredients - mains consisted of a sharing platter, the burger (a fried egg came with it that was lovely and runny but tbh was not needed it sort of spoilt it a little) and the chicken salad - all arrived hot to the table, very nicely presented all round. Top notch food, we opted out of dessert as so full - all in all a good experience however what we didn’t like to see was the waiter munching behind the bar area in full view to see and then coming to your table and not washing his hands! A complete no no in any food establishment and puts you off - if you can sort that out then we would revisit.

By some random event, I ended up on the Tripadvisor Buenos Aires/Reigate page just now and saw a few negative comments: I cannot comment on them as I wasn't there, but feel that these comments do not reflect our experience with this restaurant. We've probably been at least twenty times since my first trip in 2014 or so. We have always had very good service and food/drink here. Like many others, during and since COVID/Brexit conspiring to aggravate staff shortages, they have had their difficulties, I imagine, attracting and maintaining staff. We went there again on Saturday and I noticed that ~ 50% of the staff were familiar and were polite, helpful and unobtrusive during the whole evening. We were not forced off the table (and it was a Saturday night) after we had finished (the T&Cs suggest tables of 4 people and under will have a 2/2 ½ hour slot to enable several sittings per night, which is common practise: restaurants have had it hard with lockdowns, increasing prices, lack of staff, fewer visitors etc - they need all the help they can get. As ever, the steaks were fine: cooked exactly as each of us had asked with a selection of sides that arrived together with no omissions or other problems. The staff offered to decant the wine we'd ordered with enough time for it to have an effect and the service was excellent - again. So I'd be very surprised if the service or food was poor, but I'm not entirely surprised that you were hoofed off a table (asked 5 times whether you were ready to order) you evidently thought was part of a pub/wine bar serving food...

A nice meal in a lovely restaurant. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Steak was good but the last time I ate there it was a better cut of meat. It's a shame they've also stopped doing their special offers such as BOGOF on steaks on a Tuesday or a free bottle of wine on a Wednesday, etc. Would recommend.

Really nice food and staff - didn’t get 5 stars because the ambience wasn’t quite right! We were upstairs and it was very brightly lit, plus the food came so quickly that we were out again in not much over an hour - didn’t feel very relaxing! A shame as the steaks were lovely and so was the cheesecake.

It started well with a wonderful cocktail but overall unfortunately it has declined since we ate here last year. There was a mix up in the kitchen in regards to the doneness of our steaks which they quickly tried to correct but even then my steak was over peppered with too little salt. The creamed spinach tastes oddly floury. Lovely fries and sauces, the starters were good but the tomato salad was quite basic. The staff were very nice and attentive.

Absolutely delicious But empty on a Saturday afternoon. Can't fault it.

Very disappointing visit to Buenos Aires in Reigate. When we arrived, everything was great. Shown straight to table, drinks ordered & brought to table quickly & then it went downhill from there! It was an extremely hot day & our group of 4 friends wanted time to cool down, relax & chat over a few drinks first. We were asked 4 times in quick succession if we were ready to order & we really felt under pressure, so we said we would let them know when we had decided. After been asked for the 5th time 5 minutes later, we then placed our meal orders. The meal it's self was absolutely 💯 gorgeous, tender steak, and good-sized portions. As soon as we had finished our plates were whisked away & at the same time dessert menu was brought. Literally, 1 minute later, the server asked what we would like!! When we asked for more time, we were informed that they needed our table at 7.30pm as it was booked, so we needed to order dessert now. We passed!! What a shame as there were at least 3 other empty tables in the restaurant & we all said that we would not return. We paid the bill £151 & left.

I don't usually write reviews but my partner and I were so astonished by the rudeness and arrogance of the waitress tonight a review was required.. The food was good, the atmosphere was not. It wasn't just us who were clearly unhappy with paying for a meal and being treated like idiots. We won't be coming back.

An absolutely delicious sirloin steak perfectly cooked accompanied with a Malbec, creamed spinach, sweet potato fries and a peppercorn sauce for me, a béarnaise sauce for my wife. It's simple but wonderful.

Thoroughly enjoyed a birthday celebration meal here in March. Lovely atmosphere, friendly/efficient staff, delicious food and menu choices. Steaks cooked to perfection. Busy restaurant mid week speaks for itself. Will look forward to our next visit.

My husband and I came here for a date night. We enjoyed our steaks and loved the atmosphere on the restaurant. We also had desserts. Staff were very friendly and nice. Manager was also friendly and nice. Overall enjoyed it and a lovely little car park opposite as well .

The Buenos Aires Argentine Steakhouse in Reigate is an outstanding restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the steak is cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. It was the best steak I had in uk so far. The wine list is extensive and the side dishes are excellent. Highly recommended!

It is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Reigate. But it is fair to say that it says more about the other restaurants than about Buenos Aires Argentina Steak house. The service when I was there was somewhat botched (waiters seemed lost, food coming to the wrong tables...). The steaks were very good. But I found the prices a little high. The children's menu (hamburger) was a let down: burger's bread with a dry hamburger.

We went to celebrate my grandsons 15th birthday. The welcome was perfect, the service excellent, food to die for. The birthday boy was given a birthday cake and in all the whole evening was perfect. Thank you, we will return.

The best ribeye steak I've had for a while. Cooked to perfection just melted in the mouth. Fab Arginine wines very highly recommend. Try these guys and you will not return to the steakhouse chains ( you know who they are ).

Every single item, from the tomato garnishing the provoleta to the creamy spinach was seriously tasty. The steak, goes without saying, is fabulous, however you'll have it; the real surprise was the vegetarian options. Divine provoleta and portobello burger. Everything is always delicious! Even for a business lunch, everything is cooked with heart. The waiters are helpful and smiling.

My first visit to this great restaurant yesterday, early evening ,Sunday 30th October. I went with my brother and friend who had always raved his good the steaks were. They were right - the rump steaks were delicious. Service excellent and we had highly entertaining conversations with the staff. Thank you for a great evening. I have already recommended a work colleague to go there!

My wife and I had a lovely meal here last week. Christian, the manager, was a very warm host helping to make the night enjoyable. The steaks are not thin like you get in a lot of restaurants. They were actually thick and so were cooked as requested - medium so were still pink on the inside with a good char on the outside. Exactly the way it should be. The vegetable side dishes were not over cooked and still had a bite. Only criticism is that they were slightly over salted, but this is minor. Staff were happy and overall the place had a good vibe. Overall highly recommended.

Having been to Buenos Aires Steakhouse a couple of years ago I decided to go again. To my horror I discovered the Local Authority Food Hygiene rating is only 1 as it has been for the 7 months. This simply isn't acceptable

Mediocre at best. Sauces were grim. Steaks were just about OK. Chocolate fudge cake was so so dry. Sick the next day, so best check their food hygiene rating.

My wife and I went to dinner here on Friday 22nd July. I have to say that the food was fantastic. What let the place down was the service. There didn't appear to be anyone supervising the staff, who were all young people. We were given the wrong wine (we are not really factoring this that much in the review as we enjoyed the wine and we could have said something at the time which we did not). At one stage I had to get up to get the attention of staff so we could order some deserts. They came over with the menu and after around 10 minutes I had to get the attention of the staff again to order who got someone else who brought over the bill. Although the food was extremely nice I do not think we will be back as the restaurant is not cheap we do expect much better service.

Really lovely food and great staff - restaurant jam packed on a Friday night. Only downside was having to suffer a table of four youths who had no manners or consideration for other customers. Best beef empanadas I’ve had!

Absolutely remarkable food experience out of this world

We had a nice meal for Father’s Day but very overpriced for what it was. The sauces that usually come with a steak at a small price were just under £3 each, we had 3 different ones and they were tiny pots. There was pink rock salt on the plate which if you didn’t realise what it was made your dish very salty which is what happened to my husband, the salt should be served separately as not everyone likes salt. There is also an added 12.5% tip on the bill which I believe should be a discretionary amount that each client should have an option of paying, ours was just under £18 which we thought was really high. We always tip when we eat out but we decide on the amount, I don’t believe it should be the restaurant’s decision!

I’m a regular .. or was. I used to go weekly with my best friend. After tonight we won’t be going again, it’s gone from incredible to appalling. The steak went back to the kitchen twice because it was a) the wrong cut, b) cold...

Visit with a group of friends for date night, booking online was very easy. Staff were welcoming upon arrival and welcomed us to our table. The cocktail were very enjoyable. Wide range of variety of food not just steak. The steak was amazing, so tender...

Lovely food, great atmosphere. However service was mediocre, we had a fairly young guy waiting over us who was clearly new to the job and a little inexperienced, we weren't bothered by this as everyone's got to start somewhere so this was no problem, But we found we spent the whole evening prompting the staff to come over to us. We arrived and were sat for 20 minutes so therefore we had to prompt them for drinks, another 20 minutes past and then we had to ask for food menus... you get my point. This happened throughout the whole evening. Other than that, as mentioned food was great and a great atmosphere to be in, just need to touch up on service.
