Average tasting food. Service was appalling - the Indian/Bangladeshi member of staff who took my order suggested that I should order all my food in one go and he will not take any repeat order this was at 8:00 pm ( so the kitchen wasn’t closing), forgot half my order. Kept up his grumpy face and no smile service throughout the evening. I can’t believe how such people get these jobs in a customer facing industry. Cash only, probably don’t want to pay the actual VAT. Avoid at all costs, plenty of decent restaurants around.

Overall quite a miserable service. The cash only option wasn't made clear, which it should have been from the very start. Instead it's a trip to the cash machine....top tip, always carry cash

I should have had the buttered chicken which my partner had. Although chicken dry, it was tasty. I chose the Green Thai chicken - chicken dry and the sauce was like water with no taste at all. Sambles and naan bread were tasty. We were a large table and were scuttled out for an even bigger crowd.. Cash only. Very loud - Won't be back. PS: Still waiting for the glass of water I asked for .....

Been here many times and love it. Great food and friendly staff. Tonight the family all had a delicious meal. I had one of the best Chicken Baltis ever, really flavoursome and really fresh tasting, and of course a lovely pint of Cobra 🙂👍

We had a takeaway on the 25th July chicken korma. . chicken tikka masala both currys were watery no taste at all. And we ordered onion bhajis well I thought they was cricket balls totally fried Rock hard . You could never be able to eat them .best part was only the nan bread . I've been eating from there for years when we come down to Tenby in hols. And that was the worse I've had . £49 right down the drain

Best lamb Madras I've ever had, food was hot, fresh and the lamb just melted in my mouth, a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Excellent 👍👍👍👍👍

Ordered a takeaway meal for 6 people and one of the meals was missing. Chicken korma was tasteless and watery , chicken was inedible . Never will I order food from here again.

Good food but expensive for the quantity. £125 for 6 people. Didnt order beer just 2 diet cokes, few chicken dishes and some veg dishes with rice.

Avoid this restaurant. I went with my two girls and although the service was good the food was disappointing and very expensive compared to any Indian Restaurant I have been to before (and I have to confess it is my guilty pleasure!). A can of diet coke is £2.95 and overall our bill which consisted of: 3 Poppadoms and Chutney Tray, 1 Chicken Tikka Massala (kids shared), 1 Buddha Buddha Curry, 1 Boiled Rice, 1 Chips and 1 Naan and 3 cokes was £60. We won't be back.

Arrived for our booking at 8.30pm was a little shocked at first as our table wasn’t even set up even though it was prebooked. Disgusted at how rude the staff was towards us. We put in a drinks order and shortly after the staff began to shout at each other over who was going to take our order right infront of us. Once we’d put in the order we given our starters and were left waiting for two hours for our plates to be cleared and our food to come to us. We asked for a jug of water but were told to use our glasses that were used for other drinks as they had no glasses even though it wasn’t that busy. During this time we had asked multiple time how long the wait was and was told “two minutes” or “five minutes” but was left waiting for another 20 minutes. We then tried to cancel the order and pay for what we’d eaten to go and he would not allow us to leave and began to put our plates on our tables for us. After being given some dirty plates it was wiped with a tea towel that he carried around the back of his neck and given back to us instead of being cleaned or changed to a clean plate. We got the rice first which then went cold as the curry didn’t arrive until 5 minutes later. We then had our food and had to listen to all the staff shouting and arguing with each other very loudly. Once we’d eaten and went to pay the bill he was shocked when asked for the change. Overall it was not worth going to and I felt very disappointed with our experience and how everything was handled and how awful the service was and how long we had to wait for everything, we did not manage to leave until 11.30pm despite being there at 8.30 for our booking.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Staff/owner unbelievably rude, ignored us for a table of 2 to sit a table of 4, then rushed to take order and walked off with attitude, menu is a lucky dip to what you’ll get and the food is low quality, as others have said; ignore the nice smell and go elsewhere, you have been warned; I would AVOID at all costs, there’s plenty of other establishments with a brilliant welcome/service with good quality food nearby.

Having spent 3 lovely days in Tenby when the weather was crisp, bright and fresh with blue skies above, we were ready to warm up with a curry. Buddha Buddha ticked all the boxes, our meal was tasty and authentic. Our waiter was so pleasant, maling us feel comfortable and at home. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

You have go down stairs to get in, so not advisable for infirm or disabled, Shame we did not read reviews 1st. We walked in at 1830 on a Saturday evening in January and asked for table for 2 (only 2 people seated) have booked? No. I'll see if we have table. Ok follow me. Before jacket off or seated, can i get you a drink? Menu studded, ordered butter chicken (never had one red before, funny colour for butter) wife had Korma, we shared rice, onion barge (blobs of greece on plate) pashwarney nan again very fatty. Mango chutney just a runny mush. Inc 2 wines £56. Sorry no pics as left phone in car. Annoying! Health ⚠️ warning & for wallet!

Friendly staff. Lovely little restaurant and I can assure you the food was very authentic and tasty. Music was a little too loud though. Would definitely recommend this place if ever you're in Tenby.

Not great food or experience here. The chicken was undercooked. The tika masala sauce had too much sugar in it and the waiter took our side dishes at the end and put them on a pile of clean dishes. These side dishes had our dirty napkins and dirty tissues on them. Yuck!

This place's food is spectacular. Had the lamb ceylon probably the best I've had. Washed down with draft cobra. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The portion size was good and tasted okay . However, Worst service I’ve ever received from a restaurant. The staff who served us doesn’t even have basic skills in hospitality! Or, may be they were not happy to serve “the brown”. Also, it’s overpriced compared to other India restaurants.

We booked a table in advance but still had to wait to be seated because they didn't have enough seats for us. 8 of us sat on a table for 6, with my little girl being made to sit on the end due to tight/cramped space and trays of hot food being carried over her head. Took over an hour for the food to arrive, which actually was quite nice but the overall service from the two male staff was dreadful. They were miserable and rude. The female staff was lovely, attentive and engaging but this wasn't enough to make up for the other two. 1/2 pint of squash for my kids was ridiculously expensive and overall the food was expensive for what it was. Cash only setting with no indication of giving us our change and had a very entitled demeanour of keeping all the cash given to them. What a terrible experience for us overall and would avoid!

Nice food but not the friendliest atmosphere

Amazing. Buddha Buddha accommodated us at a spare moment and we were welcomed and seated promptly. Ordering and timely arrival of our food was fabulous. Quality of the food served was second to none. A great experience. One of the best Vindaloo meals had anywhere, in the UK or Australia.

I enjoyed the food, but overall, it was only an average experience. Restaurant was in the basement and was very hot. One member of staff was attentive, another was not particularly customer focused. Scored 2 stars based on the food only.

It's an average tasting curry you would get from any curry house, nothing special. We also ordered poppadoms but didn't want any chutney condiments as they were an additional charge. ( usually come free with poppadoms) anyway when the bill came we were charged for the condiments. Looking at the reviews this seems to happen a lot. Check your bill carefully.

Wanted a takeaway so Came here because it had the best reviews in Tenby, can only imagine how bad the others are, Tasteless curries, Bombay potato no flavour either, naan bread was in a heat bag which was odd as it was stone cold, mango chutney was a runny liquid, probably the worst curry I’ve ever had. If you want the best curry in Tenby go to the ready meal section in the supermarket, sadly I’m not joking!

Fast service and clean, however charged for items we didn't order, and food was quite average. Was quite off putting to see the kitchen staff sitting smoking outside in the doorway.

This was a walk in, the food smelled so good we just had to. It did not disappoint, the food, the service….everything was perfect. This needs to be tried !!!!!!

Food, wine and service were good although pricey. At the end we were told cash only and had to go across the road to get it out of the machine. When we complained the we should have been told before ordering they said there were notices at the entrance but we looked on the way out and there was nothing indicating cash only.

Nice food.but....felt very rushed. Only 6 people in too. Asked for an extra 10 minutes to decide on menu to be told "no-chef waiting" within 50 minutes we'd ordered,had starters,given mains,given the bill and finished drinks.if I'm out for an evening meal I like to be out for the evening "for a meal" not a quick sit down curry.ddnt appreciate him hanging around the table as taking plates away before last person had finished. I'd go back if they slowed the pace down.far too rushed.

Absolutely Awful customer service skills, I can only assume they thought I would eat and run, because I dont actually know why I was treated so badly. (I'd been for a sea swim and walked 6 miles today, I'm not running anywhere!) Waiter looked at me strangely from the start because I was a solo traveller. Waiter stood over the table like a bouncer. He only relaxed slightly when I took my coat off. Questioned my choice of a large glass of red wine. I was rushed through my poppadoms and they took my main away asap. Went to the loo and they formed a search party. Lamb balti was actually alright, never ever going back

Lovely food, but not cheap. We were charged for an extra poppadom that we didn't have and extra for the condiment tray that came with them, which I've never seen anywhere else. The staff were helpful and welcoming, but not especially friendly. However, the food was very tasty and service was quick so we didn't quibble over the cost of 1 poppadom.

Ate in here last night the curry was amazing the rice was ok. The portion was huge the staff were good I would recommend this place if you fancy a curry whilst in Tenby!

We booked as it was a BH weekend. The restaurant was very busy, and there was only two staff out on the floor. However, the two gentlemen were very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, and the house white was really good. Would definitely recommend 👌

The portions were small and the dishes were very overpriced. They charged us £60 for 2 small bowls of rice, 1 pathetic looking plate of chips, 2 half full containers of curry, 4 cokes and some poppadoms. The chicken tikka masala tasted strange and overly sweet, there were only 5 chunks of chicken. Overall the flavours were inauthentic.

Very rude staff. Was told they didn't take bookings, called in to be told they have a group booking that had been previously booked. Arrogant staff who were rushing around, shruged his shoulder and said what do you want me to do about it. So cant comment on food, just staff were not very helpful.

The WORST Indian food I have had in my life. If you love Indian food, pls do go here to waste your money. This is a small place run in a basement. Initially there was a wait of 1 hr when we reached. Lookng at that we assumed the food must be pretty good. The glasses for water were not washed properly. They had lipstick stains from previous customers. Out of the 8 dishes we ordered, chicken jalfrezi and Veg korma madras didnt have salt in it. The taste of the rices in egg fried rice and chicken biriyani were same. The chicken tikka was under cooked. The Buddha Buddha special curry was tasteless. Chicken korma was overloaded with coconut. When we complained of this pathetic food to the chef (who was not an Indian chef but was a bangladeshi cook and looked like he was drunk), he didnt even bother to acknowledge. Pathetic experience!!!

I was on vacation at Tenby when I happened to visit this place for dinner. We were a group of 8 people and we had the most shocking experience of our lives here when we ate the food. There was no taste in the foods we ate (we took chicken tikka, biryani, chicken jalfrezzi, peshwari naan, veg Madras, egg rice, chicken korma). The only taste was either the foods were sweet (which it's not supposed to be) along with lots of coconut or it had too much red chili with no other taste. We do not usually waste food, but i am sorry to say we had to waste considerable portion that day as it could not be taken more. The chicken tikka was raw with red color on it only. The taste of egg rice and biryani was same, only difference was biryani had boiled chicken pieces and egg rice had some fried scrambled eggs. The biryani had no biryani essence at all, it was a portion of colored boiled rice. The restaurant claims to be indian Thai, but the taste of foods were no where close to Indian/thai. We had a discussion with the cook later regarding the quality but to our surprise he did not even accept it other than just to say I will be better. We feel that our food cheque of 137 pounds was a waste.

I do not recommend this place to anybody we are on holiday all the way from Leeds we was at the beach all day and one of our babies fell asleep in the restaurant as we got there they stuck as in a dirty corner we was only in 10 minutes trying to make our mind up and kept hounding us to place an order told us if we don’t order it now he’s going to ask us to leave so I said we are still looking to place our order he said if we don’t leave the The owner will come out shouting At us didn’t even offer us drinks or anything they just wanted us out of The restaurant

Really small portions in takeaway. The Tupperware was barely half full of curry. The keema naan has the most stingey amount of lamb meat!! Wouldn’t bother going again, extremely expensive pricing and you only get small portions of everything and the quality is lacking

Completely rude people.!! And over priced place is a joke. 2 popudums and chopped onion n mayo jam. (Pickle tray not) 2 cans of coke £10... Having a laugh. Had to listen to the owner n only waiter insulting previous customers who had left a review. So decided not to order.. got told if I'd have known you Was only going to have popudums I'd have refused you entry!! Restaurant completely EMPTY!!! Exuse me your rudeness and over priced menu is the reason we didn't want to stay!. Avoid this place at all costs don't waist your money

Great food but the view into the kitchen with its strip lights and food buckets should be shielded from diners. Close the door folks! Steep steps down from street level will put off many. Good service.

Excellent food and service considering they were very busy . Look out for the small entrance , there are around 20 steps down into the restaurant., not a problem as people were bringing push chairs down.

We had 4 different curries from there last weekend and they were awful . Watery curry sauce, all tasted the same very bland ,the meat was tough and flavourless. Avoid this if your a curry lover.

Poppadoms dumped on table without even asking. Restaurant took far too many take away deliveries and guests so became overwhelmed. Ordered at 545pm got food at 705pm. No apologies until I raised concerns. Threatened to walk out without paying. Then food magically arrived. The manager, yes THE MANAGER, had the audacity to say "better late than never". Absolutely RUDE. Disgusted. My mum's lamb passanda was NOT a passanda but a korma type curry. My chicken pathia was NOT a pathia but more like a karai. We ate as much as we could muster and left paying 50% of the bill. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT THEY CANT COPE WITH STRESS AND YOU WONT GET THE CURRY YOU ORDERED

Was initially (and unfairly) dubious due to what I felt was a somewhat limited menu but our party of 8 all agreed it was up there with the best Indian cuisine we had ever had. We ordered a varied takeaway of starters, sides and mains (primarily vegetarian although my husband ordered a Chicken Ceylon) which came to around £70. Wait time was advised at just over an hour before we could collect and was maybe just a tiny bit over in reality but, understanding the demand in Tenby on any restaurant this Summer - we were happy to wait. Service in the restaurant was a little bit cold and abrupt (with exception of the chap there) however I wasn't too put out as we were taking our food home. (Also refer back to the current demand on the Tenby hospitality industry 👍) Food was absolutely fantastic and highly recommended. Arrived at home hot, plentiful and flavoursome. Really authentic tastes and good use of vegetables in the various veggie dishes - we've found a lot of Indian restaurants can just chuck any old veg in a vegetable curry and some simple don't work. If I had to make any criticism, I would say the Naan bread was on the smaller side, the Mango Chutney felt a bit "catering bulk" and the Raita was siting on the side of Mint Choc Chip 😂 however it was only in its colour. Taste wise it was OK but I think a restaurant of this quality (and clear authenticity) could make their own papadum sauces from scratch. Saying that it doesn't remotely sway our 5 stars and if you're in Tenby and a lover of Indian food you should absolutely indulge. In fact if you're not a fan go anyway because you will be after ✌️

The food was ok but waited an hour and half and when we asked how long it would be and how long we'd been waiting ,the manager said 'do you want your food or not'! quite clearly he has no people skills, no idea how to lead a team of hard working staff,he would be more suited on a farm with his attitude of a pig and enough knowledge to just about run a bath yours sincerely two very unhappy customers!!

The curry was absolute delicious- I got a chicken tikka masala, it was creamy which is how I like it. The atmosphere was lovely and it was good value. The Naan bread was pretty small though compared to other indian restaurants I've been to. I would recommend this restaurant :)

Excellent food and service. Definitely one of the best Indian meals we've had. My husband even asked if they delivered to Yorkshire.

First of all food was fabulous. However they missed 2 sides from the order. Then found a large hair inside some food. Luckily the manager/ supervisor was dropping round the food they had missed so I was able to confront him about this. Still waiting on my 50% refund.

Delicious food, crisp, clean flavour, best in a long time,had to wait a while to get in, but was worth the wait. Thank you Staff friendly and helpful
