You will meet one of most talented and friendly bartender Ivan (or Evan). I had a great conversation and got a chance to learn about the cockatiels he made for me. I just had a chicken cherar and it was good too. The size of the portion was bigger than I expected. I loved the background music. I’d love to go there again.

Absolutely awful place, cancelled our dinner reservation 1.5 hours before the given time, on a Friday night when we had already made our way into London as we live outside. No answer on the phone or to emails. Totally ruined a birthday celebration as we then had to struggle to find somewhere else for dinner. Very disappointed as they expect a deposit when you cancel but no compensation or customer service when they cancel on you.

The atmosphere was terrible, there was a table next to me which had a 30 minute photoshoot with flash, non stop. Which was highly annoying The restaurant vibe was terrible. The food was average I didn’t feel like I was in a high end restaurant, it was a huge dissapointment

The fish was frozen , the rice was bad cooked and had no mushrooms as they stated at the menu. Mistreat at the entrance , was a late dinning , sad and ugly people in the restaurant / bad food and over expensive for it. Zuma is a lot better or the Chinese just close to the restaurant . This restaurant is really good pricy but big portions worth the money. The expresso martini was very good highly recommend as well as the black cod!

This restaurant is at the end of its life! Only 20 people for dinner. It's understandable: the food is just awful. We were 4 to be almost sick. The only taste of the dishes: fat. On the other hand, the prices are exorbitant. Don't go there anymore, it's awful

The atmosphere is ok. It’s cozy, the food is good however the truffle did neither smell anything and tasted nothing that was very weird since you are paying for that. Not to many people even though a Friday night. It’s expensive.

I am surprised that a restaurant like this doesn’t cater well for coeliac’s. So much of the menu was not available to my partner which spoiled the experience. For example every side dish couldn’t be made to be Gluten Free. I’m todays world I find this totally unacceptable. There should be a wide variety of dishes that could be made this way. The food we did have didn’t feel that fresh and we decided to go elsewhere after paying the ridiculous bill for very average food which you could get from a standard chain restaurant.

We ordered the five spice chicken but it was extremely bland and under cooked. The manager did kindly replace it for a another dish free of cost but we were surprised for the five spice chicken quality on the day. We have had it before and it was different. We also ordered the black cod which was a very small serving and the fish fillet was small compared to other places. The sauce tasted a bit smoked and it wasn’t worth the amount paid. The taste of the black cod was masked and it would have passed off as sea bass. The bathrooms were clean but had a smell to it which was very uncanny. Ambiance was nice but food wasn’t up to standard. The sushi dish we ordered was good and so was the pad Thai but the niche dishes we felt need to be improved

Decadence at its height. The highlight was the groove the dj tried to create and the friendliness of staff. But in general, everyone seemed too stressed, customers trying to outdo each other and staff stretched. I cannot fault them the staff was polite, but there was an undercurrent that left me uncomfortable. I would not go back.

i booked this by mistake and i kept on trying to call them to cancel my reservation and there was zero response from their side. they harged me for it as well! very disappointed.

First date night of the new year. We were seated promptly. Drinks were good but Food wasn’t great. Rice came cold but got a fresh hot one when I told them. One of the dishes were forgotten by the time it came we weren’t hungry anymore. Service was decent.

Awful, negligible service. We were invisible, after the first two or so visits… ordering food and wine. A party of 5, but given a table for 4… I had to take another one of our party member’s steak so his plate could be taken away (which I had to request). I had to request everything. We could have ordered another bottle of wine, but for the fact I had to ask them to take away the empty one when it came to dessert. I’ve been to the Buddha Bar a few times. I doubt I’ll be back again, despite the DJ. I’ve never taken the tip off a bill at any restaurant ever. This was a first. A shame.

The worst ever, staff were very unprofessional, food took such a long time starters were served 35 mins after being ordered. We had to keep remind them to bring the following course. We ended up taking away the main course as we didn’t enjoy the service. We come often to Buddha Bar this is the first we experience this type of service disappointing!

Spent nearly £500 and the food was nothing special. No wow factor not worth it much better places out there.

We visited on a Monday evening in the run up to Christmas. With many restaurants booked out, we were surprised to find the Buddha Bar downstairs area closed. Service was friendly if a bit haphazard. Food good but very much overpriced for what it was.

Very bad service. When entering, they told us that there is no table for you now. Sit at the bar 🤬 and after a long argument with them, they said we will prepare a table for you. Unwelcoming reception and rude . The food was normal and the atmosphere was very noisy and uncomfortable. I do not recommend it

The food was great and portion sizes were pretty good for the most part. The portion of lamb chops was very small for the price and was not worth the £44 for 3 small chops. Everything else was great. Quite pricey overall but would go back as the food and drinks were good. Service was good too

As an expensive restaurant in Knightsbridge I had high hopes that this restaurant would be something special both in terms of food, as well as service and overall ambience. As far as ambience was concerned the restaurant was so dark we had to use the torches on our phone to see the menu, had I known this in advance I would of brought my camping torch but then again I wouldn’t thought I’d be needing camping gear in the middle of Knightsbridge. On the service, the staff seemed very busy and not very attentive I had to gaze like a lost parrot to try and get their attention to get a drink. I asked the waiter repeatedly whether food had diary as I have an allergy to which the response was “yes?” I was also asked whether coconut milk was diary… As far as the food is concerned my local Chinese takeaway is leaps and bounds ahead of the food here. They didn’t cater well for my diary allergy, a lot of the food had diary. Of what I could have was pomegranate salad which tasted like rabbit food. Chicken with naan bread, yes you read that correctly, which was dryer than the Gobi Desert. Although the sashimi and Wagu beef was nice this didn’t make up for the rest of the tasteless offerings. Overall if you love throwing money away as a pastime this will be perfect for you. Additionally if you are sensitive to light and like dark spaces this will also work like a charm as you won’t be able to see your menu or the person you came with.

Nice atmosphere to grab a drink. As for dining, the music was a bit too loud. Food was fresh, high quality, but disappointingly quite ordinary in terms of taste and flavour combinations. Cocktails were delicious though.

We had an amazing time last Saturday at my friends daughter’s Batmitzvah. The food was outstanding and the staff so helpful! The event went smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. Amazing venue and very attentive staff ! Perfect for this type of event.

Visited Buddha Bar with a group of friends for Halloween weekend. The atmosphere was amazing - their Halloween decoration was on point, including the food which arrived on a large carved pumpkin. The sushi platter and the red snapper were delightful but my favourite dish was the truffle rice. The prices are on par with other similar restaurants, so definitely not overpriced. It’s also child friendly as there were many families with children dining there in the same night. Our servers were brilliant and super friendly! All in all - fantastic experience.

I went out with my friends last weekend and we had great time in Buddha Bar. We felt super welcomed and management gave us the best service we could have asked for. Absolutely recommend it if you are passing by Knightsbridge!

Im a usual diner at Buddha bar, used to go every weekend twice. This last time i went i realised the prices were heavily put up by alot, the total we payed for 2 people for just 2 different kinds of sushi and 3 starters was what we usually used to pay for 5 different kinds of sushis and like 4 starters! And the ambience was horrible although it was the weekend it was EMPTY. Like as in literally empty at 10 no one was there at all downstairs. Service was slow although we were the only ones sitting down. And how do u mean the sushi before rhe starters and not even bring us the drinks after we asked 3 times and then got them when we were almost done with out food. So for the old packed buddha bar to be completely empty on the weekend that means something is actually wrong. Very upsetting that this is how buddha bar has become. I want the old buddha bar back with the music the old prices and the old service.

We used to dine here often but since the new complete menu change there is next to nothing vegan available, so I was offered some altered vegetable side dishes which were not nice at all. My boyfriend did enjoy his food though. During our meal, a couple was seated next to us and was using shisha, blowing smoke directly onto our food the entire evening. I was shocked that this was allowed. There were other tables they could have been seated at. There should be a separate area for this. Service was mostly good but I had to repeatedly ask for things they forgot. One female waitress in particular was really good though. Other than that it was hard to get anyone’s attention. Can’t believe how much the price has increased. At least double what it used to be. Wouldn’t mind at all if it was worth it but it wasn’t. This was a special place for us but sadly we won’t be returning. It’s just full of rude snobby guests and girls constantly taking photos.

I used to love dining in Buddha Bar but every time I go it’s even worse than last time unfortunately. On Sunday me and my fiancé went to Buddha bar once we step in the restaurant the lady at the reception was really unprofessional, our reservation was at 6pm we were there in 5:52 she said it’s still closed but I asked if possible to stay inside because it was raining so bad outside, In rude way she said ok and looked at me weird, once we sat on the table I notice that my plate was with dust that’s disgusting!!! I asked for a new plate, second one was fine , I went to the toilet to wash my hands, soap was super cheap I couldn’t even wash my hands properly. We order some food but unfortunately it’s not what it used to be, very low quality. I wouldn’t go back to Buddha bar, there are much better places such as Zuma and Roka

Recent trip to to Buddha bar was a pleasant surprise. There is a new menu with wow factor food . Highly recommend . I also really enjoyed by strawberry cocktail .

Really nice sushi. I had sushi rolls with tempura prawn which was amazing. I also had some crispy squid and a lovely strawberry cocktail. Waitresses and waiters clean the table between courses. The ambience is really good and I would definitely come back.

Went last night to the Buddha Bar for the first time. Great decor and smiles all round from the staff. The food was not up to the standard we had expected though, pretty tasteless and we had a strange taste in our mouths this morning and headaches. We ate the predominately Thai oriented items and I wonder if they put MSG in the food, hence the headaches and strange taste this morning ? Sadly will not be booking there again.

I went here for my birthday on a saturday and it was very nice. the ambience was good, at some points it was quite noisy since we were near the stairs and bar but it was still alright. the view from the seating near the stairs was really nice. the food was so good! i loved the sushi and the drinks, it is a bit pricey but yeah i recommend it.
