Brynmill Coffee House in Swansea

Brought my 2 year old here for our Saturday morning breakfast whilst the eldest does ballet. Really nice vibe, friendly staff, great food and milkshakes. Can’t fault it.

Visited with my elderly parents and the women running the cafe were so good, positive and patient with them. The coffees and teas were great and they served a terrific thick piece of GF Banana Bread as well. It was lovely to relax with a coffee next to the window in some warm February sunlight. Will visit again.

Came in today after my third year exam. I'm gluten free and vegan so I'm aware it's hard to accommodate for yet the women we so so lovely and had options avaiable. They even offered me a free sample of this new gf vegan cake. Couldn't recommend any more, the staff are brilliant

Been here a few times and nice and friendly and have always had good coffee. Today was disappointed as asked for black coffee and cappuccino in take away cup. The black coffee was OK but the takeaway cup was really small and for what you pay should come in normal cup like other coffee shops. There was only one size so didn't have a choice. A pity because I always have takeaway cup but was definitely bigger other times so prob go somewhere else now .

A really cosy atmosphere with fast, happy and all around good service. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be visiting again. One of the best hidden coffee spots in Swansea.

Called in hoping for lunch for my three grandchildren - cafe was very accommodating and food arrived very quickly. Love the fact there’s vegetarian options and the coffee was very good. I will definitely recommend this coffee shop.

A nice little cafe, really friends my servers and welcoming atmosphere. Free and quick wifi which is always good if you’re looking to work out of your usual work space. I’ve been in here a few times and find it a good place to work, however, a tiny bit pricey for a casual coffee house. This may be due to the fact that I don’t drink coffee (which is obviously their speciality), but the prices of teas/soft drinks seems to be quite a lot compared to other places. I.e., £2.75 for a cup of tea, compared to places in the city centre which charge the same for a whole pot of tea. I learned my lesson the hard way on that one and couldn’t believe they’re charging £2.75 for a single cup!! The waitress did clarify that it was for a single cup but, as I don’t really drink anything else and didn’t fancy a soft drink, I went through with the purchase despite the price. I then decided to have a breakfast- again, the food does seem on the pricier side for what they are serving, ie., bagels and roasties with no sides for around £7.50 is quite pricey. I went for a small breakfast for just under £9 which included a drink of choice. I thought this was good value for money considering it included a drink. The food itself was fairly average and I didn’t expect my toast to be served with the egg on top which was a bit random and the toast itself was pretty charred and bitter. It felt like they didn’t want to give me an extra place so squeezed everything on one. I’m unsure if one sausage, one bacon, 2 hash browns, a tomato, and some beans is worth £6-7 if you exclude the cost of the drink included, but it was okay. Overall, this place is decent. I like working here and will continue to but refuse to buy a tea if that’s the price being charged for a cup, so will just go with the soft drinks. I likely won’t eat in here again considering the prices for a casual lunch option, however, the bagels do look good so I may be tempted.

Excellent gluten free choices! They've got gluten free toasties, even bagels!! Also the lemon cake gf is also to die for!

Great food and drinks. Spinach smoothie is really something else! Staff is friendly and attentive. They do get quite busy but if you get the chance to visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect place for a coffee. Literally 2 minutes from Singleton campus. I had lovely breakfast and pie. I was served by lovely, professional curly hair girl.

Good Old Trip Advisor. A lovely way to spend an afternoon in Swansea. Wander along the beach followed by an excellent coffee and cake here. You’d never find it by chance but it’s well worth the visit. The staff are lovely and the ambiance excellent. Gorgeous plant based cheesecake and coffee. Super clean toilet too! Approve!!

Brynmill Coffee House is a quirky, cosy café on the edge of Swansea Uni's Singleton campus. Popular with staff and students, it serves a variety of coffees and teas made to your taste (e.g. choice of hot or cold milk) paired with delicious cakes and sweet treats. I went with some colleagues for a cuppa and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere, sipping a cup of herbal tea whilst sinking into a comfy sofa by the window. With friendly staff and attentive service, it is an ideal to meet up with friends over a coffee or unwind after a long day at work.

I regularly come to Brynmill for a latte! The place has a great atmosphere, fast service, good value, a friendly staff and an amazing service, and the latte has a great taste.

Well what a lovely gem of a cafe. Had the pleasure to sit outside this morning. Best sausage bap and cup of tea I have had in a very long time. Staff were very friendly too. Will definitely be calling again 👍👋

First visit just for coffee and teacake.

I came here as my son was in Swansea university. Located next to Singleton park it’s in a fab location. The interior is small but cosy and comfortable with outside seating in the summer. The staff are extremely welcoming and provide great service. Food is freshly made and very tasty with the coffee being one of the best I’ve tried. All in all a delightful place to visit.

The staff are so friendly, the food is lush and they make the best hot chocolate! Food menu has breakfast and toasties and bagels, good for a light lunch. They also give the option to substitute for vegetarian or vegan options

Lovely cafe, friendly staff and yummy food, coffee and cakes that are really affordable. but the music is too loud and distracting for meetings, working and even chatting which is a bit of a turn off.

We found this coffee shop by accident, and are so glad that we did. What a wonderful place. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and welcoming, and the coffee was delicious. We wish that we had more time here as we would have liked to stay for lunch.

Stopped for a coffee, cake and iced tea on a hot day as we were passing. Very impressed all round by service and menu. Will be stopping again soon.

Lovely coffee house that’s just over the road from two amazing parks.

I've been here before pre-covid and enjoyed a lovely coffee and a lovely atmosphere. Not a fan of their takeaway americano though, watery, tasteless, scorching hot and overpriced.

This coffee house is a lovely place to visit. Really friendly staff, great food and drinks, and a nice place to go for a chat and a drink with friends during the day.

I regularly visit Brynmill coffee house and it never ceases to disappoint. the staff are friendly, very affordable prices, great coffee and amazing freshly made sour dough bread (i would recommend the brie and cranberry sourdough toastie). will forever be my go to place and would recommend to anyone in the area.

Not only was the server very accommodating by combining two milkshake flavours upon on my request but it was honestly the best milkshake I have ever had. My eyes rolled back when I drank it. Also their regular sized coffee is larger than a Starbucks regular size.

I visited Brynmill Coffee House in hope to try their famous American Style Pancakes, but due to my tardiness I sadly missed the pancakes, but luckily discovered their Waffles. My boyfriend chose the waffle with Bacon and Maple Syrup and I had the Banana and Pecan: Both Delicious. Clearly homemade and an equal amount of cakiness to crispiness. Wonderful Flat White Coffees with options of non-dairy milk. Cosy atmosphere, wide menu and very friendly staff. Highly recommend, especially if after a long walk in Singleton Park.

An immense menu - the choice is wide and there seemed to be something for everyone - staff were polite and helpful despite being very busy. Loved the mixed, and sometimes retro seating and help yourself water.

A cozy place with friendly staff that always call you by name. Often came for a latte made with oat milk and alternative 90's playing that made me feel like I was back home.

Tried the hot chocolate and mocha. Very cozy place. Good cafe for adults with kids as well. Welcoming for all sorts of crowds, college students included. Reasonably priced as well.

Wonderful ambiance. Usually quiet when I go. Fair prices. And fresh food. I usually have the breakfast burrito with sausage.

Lovely place. The staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is nice and the food options on offer are good. It looks like they have play options for children (I saw from a distance) as well so child friendly. Also (for those with a sweet tooth) they have a great selection of cakes!

Brynmill Coffee House is somewhere I visit regularly as it is on my way to University. It does the BEST hot chocolates in Swansea. I absolutely love it there, it is so quaint, the staff are lovely, with fantastic ties to the local community. I cannot recommend them enough!

I love this place, it’s been a fixture the last few years - lovely food and really friendly staff. I often go in with my little boy and it’s family friendly, but also with friends and there’s always a good, relaxed vibe. The apple coleslaw is a nice touch with the paninis and the cakes are top notch. Can’t comment on the coffee as I don’t drink it but I can recommend the fruit smoothies!
