Broomhill Gardens and Community Hub in Inverclyde

Love this place. Used it for a work away day meeting. Staff were really friendly. The room was great. Soup and sandwiches for lunch were fab.

Go every Monday with my friend for a pannie today I got a chicken baguette they were two small pieces small pieces of chicken no tomatoes mostly lettuce very disappointed especially when it is not cheap

Got tables and chairs out in the courtyard, shaded and sheltered from wind. Good snack menu and nice coffee

What a lovely place. Spotlessly clean, the staff are really friendly, the food was great and priced reasonably. And all the profits going to such a good cause Can't fault it. Will definitely be going again next time we are in the area

This a gorgeous modern cafe, with outdoor patio seating, surrounded by beautiful flowers plants and sculptures. The food is delicious and they cater for all dietary requirements.

The Gardens Cafe has become a favourite amongst family and friends. My friend and I meet most Wednesdays for lunch and a catch up. The food is lovely and reasonably priced. The venue is very clean and modern. We are greeted as friends, not just customers. Claire in particular is very friendly but the whole team are great.

Been here a few times and never been disapointed the food is excellent and great price and range of choice cooked to order and the staff are so friendly.

Popped in while my car was being cleaned at the valet centre up the road. Ordered a latte and a slice of coconut cake, £3.50. Very nice cup of coffee and the cake was pretty good too. Thought it was good value for money. Cafe is bright and airy and relatively busy, part of the local community hub that serves the local area. They have a varied menu, serving breakfasts up until 11am (will give it a go sometime). Staff were very pleasant and service was relatively quick. I always think that toilets give a true reflection of the cleanliness of a place, well toilets here are spotless. Great wee place, will be back!

Lovely welcoming service with a smile. Bright and airy cafe that has a good buzz. Lots of cakes and coffees for selection, all at a fair price. The garden cafe and adjoining gardens have a a great ethos, promoting local inclusion. Will definitely be back!

Soup and sandwiches were delicious. Not a great children’s menu and not much flexibility for them. Not too much if a welcome.

The Broomhill Hub is a wonderful venue for informal get together a and catch ups. It has a cheery informal atmosphere and a fresh modern open clean environment. Customers on their own feel just as welcome as groups. It is equally appealing to family groups as it caters for all age groups and allows easy access for wheelchairs and prams etc. It has ample car parking for the size of the hub. Additional parking can be found on Mearns street, Dempster street and Trafalgar street all of which have entrances to the Hub. Staff are efficient, friendly, courteous and informative and go out of their way to accommodate the needs of customers when possible. The menu is in keeping with current trends and offers both sit in and take away options. Prices are affordable with smaller portions and children's portions being available in some, if not all of their choices. The food is healthy, fresh, tasty, ample and well presented. There are many focal points which offer topics for conversation. The walled gardens outside offer some space to walk around or run around depending on age and the greenhouses offer plants either to view or buy. They also offer gardening and soft landscaping services to the general public. The Phoenix monument in the grounds which is a tribute to lost trades and tradesmen is also a surprising sight full of history and symbolism as is the mural just about 100 yards away on Anne Street (painted by local artist Jim Strachan.) However, there is one downside to the Hub. It seems to be always busy. Which speaks for itself. I do hope you enjoy your visit as much as I did mine.

This is a wee bit off the beaten track but worth it. It's a lovely bright environment to sit and have a coffee in and it's all for a great cause. The food is fresh and tasty, and the staff are so friendly and helpful..

As a venue it is great, plenty of parking space available as well as nice views looking out to the tended gardens. There is also a café which provides great food, recommend the mac and cheese. The area is seeing a level of investment from the local housing association and there are developments such as the new health centre taking place so this will be well place and well to cater for the potential new traffic.

Good value and quality, service a bit slow

I usually visit on Sundays for lunch while getting some work done since their is also free WiFi. They serve nice coffee and simple food. I had a panani during my visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very clean and comfortable surroundings with friendly helpful staff and lovely food on offer. This was my first visit there for a cappucino and cake with a friend and it was really good and tasty. We will be back. Highly recommended for lunch or snacks throughout the day, with a vast choice of soups, teas, wide range of coffees, paninis, baked potatoes salads and lovely assortment of cakes etc.

Excellent new cafe. Teas, coffee, baking, light meals, soup, different types of sandwiches, paninis etc. Food is of high standard. Service is good and staff welcoming and friendly. Our church met in the Hub while the church building was being renovated. The cafe was open for us and many of the church stayed for a light lunch after the service. Since then this is a must go cafe for us. The cafe looks out onto an open landscaped area and, on sunny days, there are a couple of tables outside. Prices are very reasonable and I would recommend this for anyone seeking a bite to eat in comfortable surroundings.
