Brizola Bar and Grill in Ribble Valley

I always phone to book a table, otherwise I could be disappointed in not getting a table. No disappointment today. Jo is a lovely lady, always a smile when greeting us and a little banter throughout our meal. Food was high quality and delicious. Being a cold day I opted for Mousakka, served bubbling hot, just as it should be and stays hot till the end. Thank you to the chefs for excellent greek food. Will be back soon. Xx

We had a lovely lunch at Brizola. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere just perfect for a Thursday lunchtime and the food was amazing. The feta and oregano fries were delicious as were the sandwiches we had. We will definitely return.

Really lovely service from the team here. We were a large party, and took the ground floor up totally! The food was great, and we didn't have to wait along time, even though there's 10 people ordering Kids food came out first. It's a really nice touch that they have two different kids menu:s 0-4 and 4-11 I'd defo recommend

I’m begrudgingly writing this review, as once you have been it’s the kind of place you want to be your best kept secret!!😂 From the moment you step through the door you’re met by a young vibrant, enthusiastic (but not over the top) team. The menu is perfectly balanced and not overwhelming. We were lucky enough to be sat downstairs close to the well organised hustle and bustle of the kitchen, the atmosphere was great. Every dish that left the kitchen looked amazing. Just for the record I shared the mushrooms and Calamari for starters and had the Lamb kebabs.. all of which were amazing. Congratulations to all involved in this venture you have delivered an unpretentious friendly dining experience, which leaves you wanting to come back for more. The only downside to the venue is that I don’t live close enough!!

We went for lunch as we have done several times and it was as excellent as ever. I had feta filo rolls to start which were crisp and delicious, my husband had squid rings- he said some of the best he’s had! The mains were prompt & hot and presented by a lovely polite server. I thoroughly enjoyed my ‘Anna’s pizza’ with a side of the crisp slow cooked potatoes which were seasoned to perfection and my husband could not fault the hearty shank! Will 100% be back

Came here with a few friends for a catch up. What an absolutely amazing experience is this little gem of a restaurant, first time trying Greek food & it was so delicious, but fabulously presented. You can tell the love has gone into making the food. Staff are so pleasant and helpful. Will definitely go again, couldn't recommend enough.

Visited Brizola last night with a group of my friends for birthday celebrations. The food was excellent. For starters, we had the squid, sesame halloumi and the flatbread sticks with hummus and tzatziki. All were excellent, freshly made and delicious. For mains we had the lamb shanks with feta fries (which were absolutely gorgeous) and the bifteki pittas from off the grill, which were the star of the show. One of my friends is a vegetarian. They were very pleased with the extensive vegan menu and the options she had to chose from. All of us noted how tasty and full of flavour the food was. The service was excellent. Staff extremely attentive and nothing was too much of an ask. Definitely will be back soon. Thank you :).

Excellent food and customer service again as always! We had the Minted Lamb Kebabs, Metaxa Chicken from the specials board and a portion of Filo Feta Rolls on the side. Generous portion sizes and so tasty. By far my favourite place to eat in town and definitely deserve the 700+ excellent reviews

We were really looking forward to our meal tonight but it was sadly lacking. Positives points Lovely little bistro, friendly and helpful staff, excellent olives, decent coffee and several options for vegans and veggies. What let it down My giant bean stifado was bland, bland, bland. A glorified ratatouille that was served at a temperature marginally lower than molten lava. Even after 15 minutes, I was still burning my mouth. The Greek potatoes were, again bland and overcooked. The more I ate, the more annoyed I got, especially as I was being charged £15 for it. My husbands beef stamna looked amazing but again, was disappointing, especially at £18.50. Maybe it was just an off night but we won't be back.

Came here for our ten year wedding anniversary. It was the nicest Greek food we’ve ever eaten. The staff were fantastic. Said happy anniversary on our way out, we loved it thank you. Set in a lovely little square with Victorian lights by the castle

1st time here & we loved it from the minute we walked in. Great place. Very friendly staff. Food is amazing. We had halloumi bites to share & prawn saganaki each. They even do a lovely lime & soda. We enjoyed it all. Plenty of choices on the menu & there is a specials board too. Very good value for money. Will definitely recommend to anyone liking greek food.

Great place to eat! Pigs in blankets Christmas special were really nice and reasonably priced meal.

We had been recommended to try out his place by a friend & so traveled an hour & it was well worth the journey. We managed to call & get the last table on a Saturday lunch. Service was friendly & every member of staff actually looked like they enjoyed their work…from I’d was absolutely delicious & plenty of it. We will definitely recommend & return.

Booked a Saturday lunch as part of my birthday month celebrations!!! We are regulars here but haven't been for a little while......we were not disappointed. Him Indoors had the mushroom starter from the Specials board then lamb kebabs. I had filo feta rolls (amazing) and "prawns in a basket". You could not ask for better. As usual the service was excellent and Rachel is still the master of all she conveys. We won't leave it as long next time. In fact, roll on Christmas if only for the Specials 😊

I absolutely love this restaurant. The quality of the food is second to none. Menu is fresh, varied and caters to all food types. We started with the halloumi bites, which are heavenly, light deep fried with different sauces drizzled across the top and some flat bread with dips. For mains I had the falafel and halloumi flat bread while my wife chose from the specials board and had sweet chilli chicken. Portions are always spot on and packed full of fresh veg and quality ingredients. My wife's chicken skewers must have had at least 2 chicken breasts worth of meat on them . For dessert we shared a baklava with pistachio ice cream. Probably one of the best desserts I have had in a long time. All washed down with pomegranate San Pellegrino. I 100% recommend this restaurant, it's probably the best restaurant in Clitheroe. Booking advised!!!

Food was tasty as usual and we all left fit to burst! Only downside is the layout, it's a tight squeeze and the tiny tables are cluttered with a plant, salt and pepper and cutlery pot. Had dinner last night with 2 friends and the food was excellent. It is freshly cooked, tasty and beautifully presented. No wonder they are so busy.

We sat in the courtyard in the sunshine and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Everything really fresh and I have to be totally honest here the best, yes I know that's quite a claim to make, tsatsiki I have ever tasted. Trust me, if you are wondering where to eat in Clitheroe and you want good value great tasting food look no further than Brizola. The waitress was really helpful and the owner asked if everything was ok. Oh yes it's delicious we replied. Lots of tasty Mediterranean vegetables, freshly baked bread and good coffee. A marvel of Greek culinary excellence and hospitality, you will not go hungry. I could have easily stayed longer just for the atmosphere and warm welcome. I would say it's like a Greek restaurant in Clitheroe but it's more akin to a Greek restaurant in Greece. If only I had remembered to photograph the food. Children are welcome and have both home food and Greek dishes for them to choose from. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough if you like Greek food and a Greek atmosphere.

Visited tonight (Wednesday) at a weird time so not busy which is to be expected. The service was great and not too full on, they let us enjoy the food. They had a separate vegan menu which made choosing really easy! Both courses were faultless and tasted fresh and homemade. Just what we needed. I will definitely be going again.

A separate vegan menu was a delight to find.. The food was hot, fresh and fast with not a single fake meat dish in sight which was a pleasure. The chef had taken pains to ensure a vegan and Gluten free menu is available separately, rather than adding icons to the main menu. This shows care and consideration and I highly recommend this establishment.

Wasn’t expecting to get in at the last minute after a disaster at the Emporium, Rachel squeezed us in and we had a great night, food is always top notch and a great atmosphere.

Stopped here on our tour of (a new favourite place) Lancashire. Nice inviting bright place. Our attentive, warm and smily server took our order and we waited. We were given Mykonos mushrooms by mistake (we didn't order them) but our lovely server then decided not to charge us as it was her mistake, which was a bonus as the food was excellent. Please try the sesame Halloumi. When we inevitably come back to Lancs we will definitely come back. 👍❤️👍
