Fantastic place and people! We went for coffee (best I’ve had, rates alongside coffee in Rome) and tuna toasted which was amazing. Real gem of a place. Highly recommend 😊

We stumbled upon this lovely Italian cafe in Harrogate on a recent visit. There is limited seating down stairs but then upstairs a lot more seating. The staff were very welcoming, there are some excellent cakes, bakes and pastries including authentic Italian options. The menu is great, some lovely food options, the coffee is also top quality! Based on our experience I would totally recommend you stop in for a bite to eat and a lovely drink!

We stumbled upon Brio Cafe purely by chance, and what a find!! Relaxed, friendly, warm staff, delicious food, and coffee. Delicious looking cakes. Definitely recommend calling in for brunch or light lunch.

A fabulous cafe we happened to come across. Customer service was really good service was very good and the place was spotless. The food was excellent and wasn’t expensive. We had home made minestrone soup served with Parmesan and lovely bread. The cakes looked delicious and I was tempted but full Couldn’t fault it would recommend it .

We just happened to be passing with our dog and noticed it was dog friendly. Service was great from the moment we walked in and it was apparent it has a number of regulars, our lunch panninis were delicious!

Fabulous coffee a must visit venue

Came upon this by chance and so pleased I did. Had a lovely sourdough toastie and my friend had a panini toastie, two coffees. Please be mindful that the cafe is busy with takeaways as well as cafe food and there are only two ladies but both of these were friendly and efficient. A lovely cosy place to people watch while having lovely Italian food . Will certainly be back.

I never write reviews but i felt compelled to address the last review. Its my experience that the ladies who run this wonderful establishment always do there absolute level best, to care for the customers The Cafe that particular day was an extremely busy day due to its popularity...we have to take that into account...but even taking that into account im shocked and surprised by the last review. I don't know if that particular day wasn't a good day for the reviewer... From my personal point of view its the best cafe in Harrogate... And obviously everyone is entitled to their opinion Please read other people's reviews. Life is all about balance....

Food fine but not to rave about. Service extremely slow and had to ask for them to take our order and then where the food was having waited half hour! Servers very abrupt.

Love this place - always call in for coffee when visiting Harrogate. Coffee is really good - best in Harrogate - and served with a nice "bread slice".

Great little Italian cafe run by an Italian family. My GF had the Mozzarella avocado and tomatoes on Sour dough and I had the meet and smoked cheese on Focaccia. Both absolutely delicious and you tell the quality of the ingredients. Coffee was also great medium strong and smooth just how we like it

The best flat white coffee for miles. Didn't eat this time but know the food is delicious served by very hard working friendly young staff. Noticed they do a huge range of ice creams that I will return soon for.

Had lunch here, one tuna panini and one green panini (extremely tasty vegan option!) can’t recommend enough, lovely friendly staff and quick service.

We ended up having three visits here on a weekend stay. Lovely food and coffee. We took some pastries home on our last day. Staff were very friendly and chatty, would definitely recommend a visit here!

What a find! Lovely spot for some lunch when visiting Harrogate. Meals were well presented and portion size was just right. Ice cream milkshake was to die for. Toilet was clean and tidy. Staff friendly and service was pretty quick tbh. There were some tables outside, and more upstairs if it's really busy. Will definitely be back...

Was not disappointed with this cafe for breakfast. Coffee was excellent, and the avocado on toast just perfect. Yummy looking pastries/ baked goods which I wish I had room for. Loved this place. Please support it - it deserves your business.

Being local we like to discover new places and so glad we discovered this little gem in the centre of town. Had paninis served unusually on focaccia bread. Lovely coffee too and a good strength,the cakes looked amazing. Good service, will definitely return.

Lovely to pop in on a very wet Saturday morning, superb friendly staff.

Was busy upstairs but they managed to fit us in down stairs, why do people hang around in the doorway leaving it open with no consideration for other patrons. Food was good, freshly prepared,well presented with not too much awaiting to say they were busy. Good value

Their gelato is wonderful. My favorite is the cherry yogurt but whatever you have you won't be disappointed.

Friendly welcome, freshly made paninis and really good coffee (breakfast so too early for something stronger), this is a gem of a cafe/restaurant combining unbeatable food, drink, and service. Just a shame we found it on our last morning in Harrogate.

Very quaint little bistro cafe. The coffee was delicious and I really enjoyed my croissant with jam. An excellent alternative to Betty's which is always busy and overpriced anyway. Definitely worth a visit.

Arrived in harrogate on a Sunday afternoon first stop was brio cafe food was delicious, service friendly and attentive but for my husband the coffee was top class (2) cups happy man

On the hunt for glorious waffles as usual. Brio offers a reasonable range of choices from fresh berries to Nutella and mascarpone, to traditional maple syrup. I opted for the classic and upgraded the vanilla ice cream for a creme brulee variant. 7/10, which is not a bad way to start the weekend. Friendly service.

My wife and I stopped here for a coffee and wish we had discovered it before. It's perfect! The coffee is delicious, the lemon tart was sublime and the ice cream smooth, creamy and full of natural flavour. The food wasn't excessively sweet like it had been in every other place we had tried until now. The atmosphere was perfect, not blasting out loud music. It's clean, cozy, well designed and the young woman working there was genuinely friendly and very efficient. If you are visiting Harrogate and want to stop for a coffee, then forget your Stabucks and overpriced tea rooms, seek out this little place. It's outstanding,

Lovely understated cafe that undersells itself. Really friendly staff, excellent simple lunches, really reasonable prices. Not obvious from outside that it's more than just ice cream, more people would come in if a menu or clearer notice board listed lunch choices. Would definitely return.

Exceptional experience every time I visit. Good food, very reasonably priced and attention to detail that went beyond my expectations. Consistent warm greetings. Customer focus that that we all desire being presented as a matter of routine. I would feel confident that this was no aberration or exception to the rule. If I were a competitor I would be there regularly to look, listen and learn how to succeed and to do it consistently. I shall certainly return and also heartily recommend this establishment as a flagship feature to anyone visiting this beautiful town.

First visit to this restaurant and was impressed with the food and service. A salad starter a fish cakes starter were both excellent. Vegetarian Pizza and Stroganoff main courses were also excellent, service was very good but a little disappointed that 10% service charge is automatically added, even though they asked us about it it should not be automatically added and then removed if not happy. If it wasn’t for the added service charge I would have happily scored it excellent.

Popped in for an ice cream on a hot day and this was just perfect, plenty of choice and seating for a quick stop. The rum and raisin was lovely as was the strawberry sorbet.

Small cafe where we stopped to buy the kids ice cream. Good range of home made ices and sorbets. Licenced , so possible to have beer or wine if wished. Snacks available. Must come back for lunch Pleasant staff, not expensive. Good place.

Had lunch here on Thursday, 5th April, found by accident whilst wandering around Harrogate. We had the lunchtime special, £6.00 per person, included panini or focaccia sandwich, coffee and a large scoop of ice cream(multiple choices). Excellent food, value and service, would definitely recommend.

We had the lunchtime special, the best Latte I’ve had in a long time, light and fresh panini and beautifully creamy ice cream.

£6 for a freshly baked focaccia sandwhich ( i had goats cheese, sun blushed tomatoes and red peppers ) and it was delicious! This deal also includes a scoop of their speciality gelato's and a choice of any hot drinks! Fantastic find! We will be back soon!
