Came for the cocktail tasting and couldn’t fault it! Ben who served us was great.

Nice place if you like craft beer. They have a number of seats and also a nice variety of specialty beers. They mainly have their own beers on tap, but they also have other specialty beers to choose from. Highly recommended if you go to Newcastle for a weekend.

I did the beer school experience with my dad yesterday, the fella doing the experience was very knowledgeable about beer and the history of it. The different beers were also excellent.

Me and my son visited yesterday for the beer school experience, it was absolutely brilliant and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes real beer, the host Rowan was great and not just knowledgeable but also very passionate about what he does. You get to try 6 different beers plus little samples of others and there's an excellent cheese board which goes great with the beer. Overall a brilliant couple of hours and also great value, well done Rowan, keep up the good work.

Really nice place, food nice too and sauces such as tomato and hot sauce are complementary but I do recommend going for their own sauces (I went for the chipotle mayo. Service was really nice as well, thank you for letting me having a try of the drinks!

Beautiful places. But cashless doesn't work for everyone. The cheak to put a tap and tip on the bar was disgusting .

Wow! The brew school experience was brilliant. The host, Rowan, was unbelievably knowledgeable and passionate about his role. The cheese was a welcome accompaniment, but the beer and craic were far superior. What a dude, what an experience - even for those with any knowledge of brewing history.

Came for a quick snack and drinks. We had a couple of very nice authentic cold drinks (beer and cider). Kids had crispy deliciuos pizzas (Parma ham & Pepperoni). The staff was kind, professional and efficient. Very recommending for a authentic drink experience or just a casual drink.

Great pizza perfectly cooked matched by an interesting flight of beers. The upstairs games console was a huge hit with the 2 younger grandchildren so we could talk in peace!! We'd booked the Kids eat free option in advance and it worked brilliantly for them as they chose the build your own pizza option.

Decent pub, good value for money

A reserved table. A cocktail tasting. Excellent. Staff were so attentive. Atmosphere was excellent. A super super place. A great choice of beverages.

Good vibes and happy place for a few beers

Nice building and a wide selection of ales available. Very friendly and helpful staff today instantly offering tasters of any of the beers and answering beer related questions so that made a big difference from my previous visit where it was a lot later and was very busy at the bar. The beer we had was delicious (8.4% Milkshake IPA). Clean and tidy place with a bit of quirk. Prices are quite high but that was expected and they did have some beers that were new to me. If I could change one thing, I would love to see some pump clips for my beer photos on Untappd. 😃 So was back in Brew Dog yesterday and my experience was terrible. Young girl behind the bar was entirely disengaged, disinterested and unhelpful. Ended up with a drink that was not at all what I wanted ... Last time we were offered help and advice and samples and ended up with great drinks. I would be very tempted to never return if this had been my first experience and as it is I would be reluctant to return. I can't believe the difference between my two visits. One star ⭐ customer service after previously enjoying 5 ⭐. Maybe look at your training and staff management if you want to get return customers. I have edited my review stars to average the two experiences.

Wide range of drinks - worth a visit if you like craft beers

We did a Brewdog Beer School with Joe and it was amazing fun. His knowledge of beers and their origins with interesting stories was excellent, he steered the choice of beers based on what we liked/disliked. Cheeseboard was a welcome mop up part way through. All round great entertainment while getting pleasantly tiddly.

Really poor attitude from the girl behind the bar last night. One girl working there was lovely, and the other was shocking. I brought my pint back, as it [in my opinion] tasted bad. My friends agreed. I apologetically explained that it tasted awful and didn't want it, to which the barmaid poured herself a small amount and tasted it, and told me "it tastes absolutely fine, but ok.." - rude and abrupt. Asked me "what do you want instead?".. I said a Cold Beer please.. she poured it, put it down and rolled her eyes! No apology (not that I hugely needed one, but just a small "ah sorry about that, what would you like instead?", rather than arguing and then refusing to even acknowledge me once the pint was poured. Arrogant and rude. EDIT: I don't know how to reply to your reply - sorry. It was Sunday around 7-9pm.. there was a girl in grey, who commented I looked like someone from the TV - she was LOVELY and warm, really good service. This review is not aimed at her. The girl with the black t shirt and a cap(?) on was the rude one.

It’s a Brewdog so you know what you’ll get but the guest beers are always of interest and it has a nice vibe.

Visited BrewDog for bottomless brunch. The drink choice you can have is excellent and the staff are happy to provide a taster of any of the selection before deciding. You are able to choose an item of the menu from the pizza or hot dog list....and the pizzas are huge! Couldn't finish them. Never has to wait for a top up and as the time came to an end they doubled up on drinks. Definitely recommended

I recently visited BrewDog in Newcastle to try out their food. My friend ordered a pizza so I thought I'd try one of their hotdogs. Both were really good and tasty. The sausage in the hotdog was way better than the average and was well seasoned. I do think the quality of BrewDog beers has dropped. Punk IPA isn't a patch on what it used to be. It was great when it became so widely available however the flavour profile has deteriorated. It's become very commercial and I stopped buying it some time ago. The Hazy Jane is however quite a nice beer and I will certainly buy that again!

Decent pizza, good pint, atmosphere not the greatest.

Went for the beer school experience. The server was extremely knowledgeable and polite, the beers were great, we even got to taste the Hazy Jane Guava on top of the four already included in our tasting. Prices for the beers are extremely reasonable. They are dog friendly, they even have a beer for dogs (chicken flavoured) that our pup loved, and they bring you treats for the dog as well. The food menu is a bit disappointing. I was expecting burgers, but all they do are pizzas and a few other items. We wanted to order something to nibble on while tasting the beers, but they didn't have any chips, so we ordered a charcuterie board. For £12 this is the worst value for money, it was literally 2 slices of salami, 2 of coppa, 1 of prosciutto and about 10 crackers. That was the only disappointing part of the experience, everything else was 5 stars. I would definitely go back, but not for the food haha

Manager is a piece of pap! What kind of person cries orer someone asking for a taster? Which they have on the board!!!! They kicked us out because of it. Normally I'd love a brewdog but my God, what a shame! We were going to go to Edinburgh hotel as well but after that experience in Newcastle, then what's the point.

Another waste of time!!! Another brewdog ruined by the manager! What a waste! I asked for a taster 'which it says on the chalk board by the way'. Only to be refused for no reason. This local business used to be awesome until they branched out. I'd love to put the profundity that I could explain but google won't let me. Please don't visit this place, especially if the larger manager is still in charge. (Sorry I don't know her name) MUST AVOID!!! DONT GO IF YOU HAVE A SOUL!!

If it's strong ale your after then this is the place. Expect to pay top dollar for it though

Bar staff deserves a good review. However there was a strong smell of cannabis in the bar this may of been off someone who walked in after us . Bar staff and door staff brilliant

Attended the beer school experience on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Rowan was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend it. Thank you for a great afternoon!

Very lively, pleasant vibe with excellent variety of craft beers and music play list, mostly rock, while not too loud to still be able to chat. Beautifully designed bar in an old building. Great place all in all.

We went for bottomless brunch, the service was great, not strict with drinks, even asked if we would like another just before our time slot ended, staff were brilliant. I went for the Smokey sausage pizza which in hindsight, probably the worst choice against the other pizzas that others in our party had, but overall a great experience! Would recommend!

Really enjoy going to this location. Very interesting beers, I love exploring beers and this place always has something new and exciting. Huge selection of take away cans making it a go to in town to grab a few can. Wide selection of board games to play while you have a drink. Staff actually know beer and brewing, lots of places just have people to serve drinks but the staff here actually know about brewing and drinks. Perfect place, highly recommended

The BrewDog is a craft beer bar and restaurant that offers a wide range of beers from their own brewery and other local and international brewers. The bar has a modern and industrial vibe, with exposed brick walls, metal pipes, and wooden tables. The food menu features burgers, pizzas, hot dogs, and cheese boards, with many vegan and vegetarian options. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the music is upbeat and eclectic. The BrewDog is a great place to hang out with friends, sample some quality beers, and enjoy a tasty meal.

Always a great range of beers with around 10 guest beers and 15 Brewdog beers on draft plus a multitude of Brewdog and guest bottles. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, and happy to let you try a beer before you order. And they serve fantastic fresh pizzas and hot dogs too. What's not to like?

Decent beer at indecent prices.

Awful. Don't go here if you have a disability they will refuse to serve you and blame drink for the reason. Terrible service. After speaking with the manager to resolve this issue my next visit was superior to the last compensating me and my party with a complimentary drink and a table booked. I've upped to 3 stars

Mondays vegan and veggie pizza 2 for 1 😍 delicious pizza!! Amazing range of creative and craft beer. Lovely staff who let us taste different beers. Will definitely be back!

It's a brewdog. So it's hipster and over priced considering they stock their own product. But the staff are really good and so are the doorstaff. Nice place.

Pleasant little bar with good choice of beers as well as few ciders, etc. Not a great deal of choice for food but we had pizzas which were reasonably priced and filling and tasty! There were some vegan options too. Not much of an atmosphere during my visit but it was a Sunday afternoon. Would come back.

Bit of a fan of Brewdog … enjoyed the early evening with two of my favourite people …. I’m officially a stout drinker … recommend the Black heart … also the lost lager …food was also just what we needed something to pick … if your in the toon and want to be away from the influx of students … head down to brewdog … back stronger

Bought the Beer School Experience for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was amazing! Ed was fantastic and was clearly passionate about the brewing process. We were given so many different beers and learned how to properly taste them. The whole experience was really eye-opening. Upon booking I made a request to see if there was anything that could be done that would be it extra special as it was for my boyfriend’s birthday and he was given a brewdog book as well as 2 brewdog pins for free. Just wanted to say a huge thank you it was one of the best things we have done!

Reducing overall rating from 5 to 4 stars. As a big BrewDog fan and a regular customer, I have always appreciated the quality and variety of your beers. Until recently, my experiences at BrewDog establishments have been positive, and I have enthusiastically recommended your brand to friends and colleagues. However, my recent encounter in BrewDog Newcastle has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth - both literally and figuratively. A staff member displayed a shocking lack of professionalism. After expressing my dissatisfaction with the "Give Me the Sunshine" guest beer, I was shocked when this staff member openly criticised BrewDog's own lost lager as I proceeded to buy this drink to replace the guest beer I could not drink. I found this behaviour to be completely unprofessional and uncalled for. As a customer, I have the right to express my opinion without being subjected to condescending remarks from the staff.

Super chill place, great selection of beer and tasty pizza. Dog loves it, drags me in all the time.

I love Brewdog bars anyway, but had to visit my home town bar to try Black Heart. If you like Guinness you'll love this!

First time coming here after hearing good things, spotless environment, friendly chatty staff, and great quality pizza and beer! Also reasonably priced, dog friendly which is a bonus! Staff gave ruby (doggo) fresh water and few doggy biscuits which was a nice touch, will deffo be back again, proper decent atmosphere, and some banging tunes, can’t complain!

Great atmosphere and excellent beers. Came for the £1 beer school deal and had the nicest relaxing time for us and the pups.

During the month of May 2023, you can complete BrewDog's £1 beer school - 4 beers for £1 (1/6 of a pint per beer). I'd highly recommend getting down to your local BrewDog and taking part! We certainly learnt a lot!

Myself and my two sons all enjoyed a great afternoon spent with a very knowledgable, interesting and amiable guy. Also in the company of a great group of fellow "Beer School Pupils". Diversity of samples experienced was also a terrific eye opener perdonally, as I hadn't experienced some of those ales prior to the tasting, so thanks for bringing those to me and I will endeavour to look out for similiar ales in the future. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, did the same experience last year, so roll on 2024 so that I can do it all over again. Thanks for a really enjoyable few hours. Cheers Folks 👍

Small, but decent bar. I like brewdog but find them slightly expensive. However, good service and nice atmosphere.

Flat beer (Punk IPA, their flagship) and refused service for food after being declined on the "Order to table" function that will accept your money but then hold it hostage for 5-6 days. Bit of a fall from grace, but it matches the parent companies trajectory.

Brew Dog beer is the dregs. What tasteless papp. Why anyone would drink in this pretentious bar and pay extortionate prices for what is very poor quality beer is beyond me. 🤔

Easily one of the best Brewdog's I have been to. It has something that most are missing... Atmosphere. This is possibly due to the layout, with the upstairs somewhat overlooking the downstairs. Whatever it is, I don't care I had a fab time. Pizza was a little on the overdone side, but not the end of the world.
