Lovely food and service. Decently priced too...

Lovely atmosphere, not too loud, friendly helpful staff and very well presented and tasty food, will definitely be back. The bourbon burger is the best burger I've tasted.

This was a bit hit or miss, unfortunately. The welcome was a bit abrupt with a chef taking our name and then gruffly pointing to a table and telling us to "sit over there". The waitress was much more hospitable once she arrived. Our starters were smoked duck for me, baked camembert for my wife and garlic bread for our son. The smoked duck was dry, which would have been tough if it wasn't for the thin slivers. The raspberry sauce didn't save it, unfortunately. The baked camembert was decent, but the accompanying nuts were a bit underwhelming with the advertised maple syrup being non descript. The boy's garlic bread was quite nice, and helped keep hopes up. I went for lamb rack with mushroom risotto, two of my favourites. The rack was two lamb loin chops, with one of miniscule proportions. The lamb went well with the risotto in fairness, so went down well. The duck confit got decent comments, and they did a really nice burger for the boy. The chips that came with the burger were really good, proper crispy, freshly cut potatoes. The galletes smelled really good, so it's a shame we didn't try them.

Fantastic lunch today food and service was first class. In the time we were in several people commented on the way out how good the food was. We had sirloin steak and Monkfish both of which were delicious. Will certainly go back.

1st time dinning here relaxed atmosphere good menu choice we had the beef fillet & dauphinoise potatoes were the best I’ve had.Dessert menu something for everyone wines good choice as was the cocktails.Would definitely return and thoroughly recommend

We received an itison voucher for Christmas & went for Dinner last night. We have been several times before but not for a few years & we were not disappointed .From the minute we entered until we left everything was perfect.

Haven’t been for several years but it was even better than I remembered excellent food & service nothing was to much trouble

Fantastic food! Can’t recommend the galettes and confit duck enough and already booked to go back next week. Very reasonable price also, £48 for 2 beers, the two mains dishes above with sides of chips.

Lovely wee restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was brilliant - I’d recommend the mushroom sauce with your steak! Would definitely recommend and will be back for sure!

Couldn’t fault this place in any way. Used itison voucher for chateaubriand for 2. It was delicious as was the sides and sauces and wine. A nice foreign lady served us and was so nice. Would come back again for sure

Visited for birthday meal Food was delicious waiting time a little lengthy but not too bad considering only two people taking orders Waitress smart and friendly BUT the manager was friendly but to be dressed in jeans and a hoodie I thought was quite unprofessional

Had a late lunch early dinner. Two adults and two children. The food was delicious. One child had the bunny pizza and it was absolutely delicious. We also had chicken, scallops and the duck. This place is definitely worth a visit. Next time I'm getting a pizza.

Two Perth girls, back in Perth for a get together. Found this restaurant for an evening meal on the Thursday night. Met with exceptionally friendly staff, provided with fresh bread/butter which was delightful while waiting for food. Food arrived freshly cooked, absolutely delicious. No faults whatsoever. So much so, we booked for the Friday evening too. Was certainly not disappointed. Highly recommend. Will be back on next year’s visit.

Very enjoyable evening spent here on Friday. Booked a table for 5:30pm and weren’t the first there. We were encouraged to sit at a 2 seater table and supplied with menus and water. A glass of wine and Abernyte Tinkletop duly arrived. Adele had the scampi and I had smoked salmon for starters. They were well presented and a good start. We didn’t have too long to wait for our mains either, beef cheek with smoked tongue and rack of lamb. Both were a little different and very satisfying. By 6:30pm there were few empty tables left so a busy place at weekends. The service was good and we got the bill quickly to make a sharp exit.

In Perth early evening so decided to eat here before returning home. Quiet, as it was early. My wife and I just had main courses. My wife had Goat’s Cheese Cannelloni which she said was OK but nothing special. I had the Cabernet and Blue Cheese Burger, (Burger topped with melted Gorgonzola, cabernet wine caramelised onions). A small, ordinary burger, a bit of blue cheese and soggy onions on a brioche bun. I have no idea what had been done to the chips? They were what you would expect from a motorway service station hot buffet. Dried out, almost hollow. Like they were old and had been reheated. Definitely won’t be returning

The Brie and smoked salmon pizza made my day! Great atmosphere, good wine selection and lovely staff.

Overall we liked this restaurant for the menu selection, execution and value for money. If you have allergens, I would avoid. There is no allergen matrix available so even simple gluten intolerance meant choosing from menu then having to consult with owner. Very concerning if you have shellfish, nut or any other serious allergy as the kitchen is so small I doubt there is any cross-contamination control. However, I would recommend this restaurant if these aren’t an issue. Food was tasty, inexpensive French Malbec was delicious, draught Pilsner was cold & good, ingredients were good and the server was lovely.

Great food and nice people. Called in doing the NC500. Well recommended. Book ahead as popular. Steak very good indeed.

Visited here while visiting Perth for the races, arrived for Friday lunch, we we’re basically the only customers the whole time we were there. Now the meal is a tale of 2 halves, firstly starters arrived , pork belly was very poor, dry, cold and hard and looked very unappetising , being a butcher for over 30 years I know this wasn’t very fresh, Camembert cheese for starter arrived cooked and nearly cold , was stone cold before I’d eaten half of it, now there was only 1 waitress serving but she was occupied with a customer making a booking so no doubt starters were sitting getting cold waiting to be served. The mains of mussels were good but broth was like water unlike other places I’ve been that had a soup consistency, steak burger with egg was nice with the steak tender, lovely chips with both dish’s, shared a crepe for dessert and this was good. All in all £76 for food and 2 cocktails . Was expecting a lot more with some reviews I’ve read but should have looked further back at reviews. sorry to say I wouldn’t hurry back .

Nice surprise. Went for a simple early "tea". I had a Caesar salad -- with lamb! Delicious -- followed by a feather-light crepe with ice-cream. Friendly and conscientious service. Will definitely return.

Fantastic food and service, well done. Deserts were not as good as the starter or mains but still very tasty.

We travelled to Perth just for this restaurant and it was definitely worth it. We ordered two starters: the duck with raspberry and mango&chorizo salad. They both were the ingredients I would not even think about putting together and they matched perfectly. If you will go for one starter, pick mango salad, that was my favourite. We then had two mussels mains: classic white wine marinated one and chillis one. They both were cooked nicely. Chilli one was a bit spicy (as they name suggests) and it had a nice touch with chorizos in it. It didn’t overwhelm the taste of mussels. We then ordered another main mussels: the one in tomato sauce and basil. It had a different but nice taste. It reminded me of penne arrabbiata and pizza to my partner. It definitely had an Italian touch. I think the classic mussels won this dinner. But if you are up for a change and would like to try others, they were great as well! We closed our dinner with desserts. We ordered crème brûlée and their special almond croissant pudding with custard. They outdid both these as well. Crème brûlée came with berry compost; it gave a sour taste to the dessert I loved it! All in all, it was one of the best mussels we both ever had. Next time we are in Scotland, we will definitely drive all the way here to try their other dishes.

Très mauvais pour des "francais" encore pire pour des "bretons": crêpes bien trop peu garnies, trop peu de sauce dedans (sec!) pas bien grandes, trop cher pour le prix. A éviter.

A very nice restaurant and it has the “je na sais quoi”. Try a cocktail to get started and mind they are freshly handmade (not from a sachet like elsewhere). The meals are very very very delicious. Brilliant service and comfortable seats. The prices are reasonable considering the quality (you might pay more elsewhere for less). Best restaurant in Perth 2023!!!

My kids were on a hunt for some crepes this afternoon and we decided to visit this place. It was our first time there and it was a pleasant experience. The kids ordered the kids menu option comprising of a pizza followed by a crepe. It was definitely value for money- a great looking pizza and tasted absolutely lovely. My goats cheese salad was delicious. And my crepe suzette was lovely too. The soft drinks are a bit steep in prices but otherwise it was a nice afternoon out and we will definitely be returning in the future.

One of few resraurants open on Sunday in Perth. French food which was excellent with good wine. Staff very friendly and efficient but not intrusive. Well priced.

We went for a late lunch on a Sunday, restaurant was quiet. We had mussles to start, provencal was more tasty than white wine, served with nice bread, followed by Chateaubriand, which was so tender, daphinoisse potatoes,and Dijon sauce, which were all lovely. Had a glass of wine £8.50 ish for 250ml. Malbec . Too full for dessert. Would go back to try other dishes on menu.

Great small restaurant in the center of Perth. The food is surprisingly good for somewhere so small but we really loved the gallettes and the pizzas were really tasty. The wine list was good. It comes across as a place that cares about it's good. I would definitely go back.

We had an amazing 3 course dinner. Food was amazing, lovely atmosphere and very friendly attentive service. Will definitely go back!

So disappointing. It calls itself a French restaurant but thats as far as it goes. The main courses - fish of the day breaded haddock , and the boeuf bourginion were very poor. The fish was 60% crumbs and the bourginnion so over salted or seasoned as to be inedible, The starter goats cheese bon-bons was nice and the dessert creme brulee ok but thickened and not authentic. Don't pretend to be what you are not. The staff on theother hand were delightful. I complained about the stew and to be fair it was crossed off the bill. Cant ask more than that that -- but thats not what we wanted. Not very expensive but on the other hand not cheap. Better value in Perth, no doubt

Disappointing meal today after many good meals in the past. We have not been for over a year, perhaps it was a bad day but I'm not sure we will rush back.

I'm sorry to write this review.... Lunch was very disappointing. We often would go to Breizh and really enjoyed it but not today! Two of us had breaded haddock which was poor but edible. Gallettes, two average and one tasteless.

Le concept est une bonne idée, la déco est sympa, on est bien accueilli, il n’y a pas grand monde aujourd’hui. Nous avons pris des crêpes et pizza et nous avons été surpris comme le disais un autre commentaire. Ce n’est pas mauvais mais ce n’est pas dans nos habitudes de manger crêpes et pizza préparés avec ces ingrédients typé Écossais. Nous y avons passé un bon moment néanmoins

Good food located in the centre of Perth. Scallops to start were good, as was the Confit Duck. The Bouillabaisse (seafood stew) was excellent. There is a good selection of drinks available, including some local beers. Unfortunately, the Cosmopolitan cocktail was a bit bland.

My partner and I came in for pizzas and casually mentioned it was our first anniversary to the waitresses as we came in. Once we sat down she proceeded to place a candle between us and bring over complimentary Prosecco. We couldn’t have faulted the food nor the service and we both look forwards to our next visit.

Had an itison voucher gift for birthday! Visited on 2nd April birthday day! Booked table, no prices on special board. Soup good, then coley fish good. £6, £24. Rose £25 all ok. But service charged added £7 73 really!!! Spoilt birthday tea! 🤔 BEWARE voucher included £30spend, bill was £55 so should have been £85 REALLY BAD VALUE

Headed to Breizh pre-theatre. Chose ‘La Breizh’ from the Galette menu, which contained Grilled pork sausage, sautéed apples, caramelised onion, potatoes, gruyere cheese & crème fraîche. Very disappointing - almost entirely potato, infrequent large apple chunks. Not the cheeriest service on the night we were there.

Called in to this lovely restaurant for lunch on Sun 26 Feb. We've been before so expectations were high and we were not disappointed. I had two starters, the mussels and motzerella bon bons and my wife had the pork cutlets. All meals were excellent although the mashed potatoes with the pork was not to my wife's liking. That aside we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the service and ambience was excellent.

I used to love this place. Now it's freezing in temperature and atmosphere. This was the only place we could book for a xmas lunch as everywhere else was booked out. When we arrived there was no-one else in the restaurant...says it all really. Food...

Stopped by Perth on our way further north just for a quick lunch. Breizh is just at the end of pedestrian precinct . It looks unassuming from the outside. Inside its clean and welcoming. Staff very pleasant. We were blown away by the food! We ended up having the lunch special: Chose homemade fish cakes and chicken and mushroom bruschetta for starters. For mains we had fish pie and confit of chicken. And crepes for dessert. Everything was fresh homemade and portions huge! Delightful surprise find!

Had just a sirloin steak while killing some time compulsorily in Perth. Asked for it med-rare, it came more as medium. Dauphinois accompaniment was tasty but lukewarm at best. A nice side salad. Service friendly and prompt.

Great menu choice. More relaxed, cafe style restaurant. But menu like restaurant. Great service. Not so cosy as cafe tabou, but great food too. Just depends what your own preference is.

Pizza and sandwiches were amazing, really recommended! Normally it’s hard to make me like pizza but the pizza here is brilliant. Friendly service and very clean toilets. One thing should be improved.. my hot latte was not hot when it’s served.

We visited for lunch on a Sunday and main courses only were taken. The room was only half full but the food (2 steaks, 1 steak baguette and one seafood galette) took 50 minutes to come out. The chips for the baguette meal took another...

Went for a family members birthday meal and really enjoyed the lovely fresh pizza we had especially the carnivore one i had was such a unique combination but worked really well. Deserts were also delicious will definitely be back again for another meal in future.

In Perth for 2 days only. Trawled the bistro/restaurant trade. Very disappointing until we happened on Breizh. Welcoming, impressive menu, decent wine list. The pan- fried salmon was top class married perfectly with a Vermentino wine. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. One in particular was so enthusiastically amiable that she deserved extra credit. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Sorry guys, not to our taste. A great cordon bleu, but the cod and chorizo didn’t work. Bland flavouring and one of the veg had an off-putting aftertaste that I couldn’t figure out. Also a pretty terrible presentation and something that could be bettered at...

Good rustic food. Wasn't very busy, so can't comment on the atmosphere. Good service. Coffee was superb.
