Lovely theatre. Great atmosphere and a bar and snacks are available

I love coming here to see shows, the tickets are always reasonable, the venue is clean and tidy and the staff are lovely. There are no booking fees when buying tickets as they're an independent venue which I'm all for. Drinks at the bar are also reasonably priced.

Lovely intimate space to see Janet Godley in fine fettle. Laughed all night

Really good venue. Drinks and snacks aren't expensive here, facilities are nice, seats are comfortable and the staff are accomodating and friendly. Lots of variety of shows take place here too so there's always something interesting to see.

Only issue was no leg room. Not the fault of the venue though. I need to book an aisle seat but they go very quickly. Especially on film days when less bendy people are in the majority😂

Nice venue but definitely needs to have more capacity as not always able to get tickets.

I really enjoyed the show. I love live theatre and it's great to see the Brewhouse going strong again. The box office staff are incredible ..I had booked for ballet this week, I had to go away due to an emergency. Without any fuss they transferred my tickets to the next Ballet in February. Fantastic service. Thank you.

Nice little theatre. Not overcrowded. I really enjoyed a drama played here recently. Toilet facilities seemed a bit inadequate though.

Went to see the film The Escaper, fantastic venue £5 a ticket with a drink and biscuit.

Such a lovely theatre. Good atmosphere, good views and spacious chairs. Booked online and collected tickets (only as a keep sake) from a very friendly welcoming front desk.

Very nice, place well set out and just the right size. Even at the back you still can see the stage

Canny venue. Good place for very good value light snacks / lunch whilst pretending to not look like a tourist!

Great local theatre and we're lucky to have it. Could have been a degree warmer last night but it didn't detract from an otherwise fantastic performance from Elio Pace and his band.

Coffee biscuits and a film. Wonderful way to spend a morning.

The first time at the brewhouse was a lovely little place, but I would say no air in there at all. It was very hot, no air circulation made me feel uncomfortable.

October 40th 2023 Oye santana brilliant band Evening spoilt by people dancing in front of us and spoiling the view also dancing on the stairs which blocked our way in the event of fire Member of staff told me to stop taking photos despite dozens of people taking videos and pictures all around me After the gig I asked the woman why she asked me to stop filming and she admitted there were too many others she couldn't tell them all jobs worth maybe as I was near the back First time I visited this theatre and probably the last I travelled 260 miles for this If this is the usual way of their events no wonder it wasn't sold out Just to reiterate oye santana were grest

Great place to see shows moden and well laid out. Seating is comfortable and good view of stage from every seat

Old, functional location, has the feel of an old care home..... Buuuttt, the plays etc. make the visit worth while

We took my 3 and 6 year old kids to see the snail and the whale at Taunton Brewhouse today. The production was great and we managed to get into the small car park right outside.

Lots of great things to see here.

Small but nice, intimate theatre venue. Worked well for the family show we took our children to.

The wife, the kids and I had a great time at The Smeds and the Smoos. Drinks were not a bad price, there was plenty fo seating and I enjoyed the art in the gallery. Zero air conditioning however, and loading 300 hot adults and kids into the theatre turned it into one of the biggest saunas outside of Helsinki.

Top service at the bar by the charming lady behind it; the theatre was warm in atmosphere with very comfortable chairs, it has been a very pleasant experience being there and, BTW, really enjoyed the jazz band led by Kathy(a?) Our first time there and won't be the last! Very disappointed with people at large who did not come to fill the theatre (to the brim!) They missed a great show of talent in music and the wonderful, cosy, welcoming, comfortable theatre in Taunton. Many thanks to the organisers!!! Leandro Ulisse

What a gem the Brewhouse is! Exceptionally well run and maintained and always a pleasure regardless of the reason for attending!

Always enjoy going to the Brewhouse Theatre, never overpriced, shows are superb and the seats are quite comfortable compared to some other theatres.

Excellent show "History of Soul" talented singers with belting voices, thoroughly enjoyed brewhouse theatre always well worth a visit staff of mostly volunteers are dedicated to keep the theatre running nice venue easy to find. Confusion over toilet signs please just go back to the old way we know who we are.

Nice friendly place with bar and counter for purchasing snacks. There is just one problem, limited car parking close by.

Fantastic night out with my friend went to see The History of soul, we danced the night away.

Great venue. Really good variety of events. Not too expensive either. Friendly bar with good prices. Not a bad seat in the house. Always an interesting art display in their gallery room. No parking now though. Canon street is nearest and is free in the evening.

Went to see Seth lakeman great gig great theatre

Nice regional theatre, main room has comfy seats, a decent rake, and unobstructed views. Saw Seth Lakeman play here and he noted that the theatre provided excellent loading access for lazy musicians ;)

Well organised, well supported and warm and comfortable seats. We'll look to come and see another show. This time it was Alfie Moore. Attn ideal venue to allow the act and performer to interact.

Nice venue with a range of shows, from comedians, musicians and more.

Venue fine , BUT Mercury , musicians were fine ,unfortunately the singer ( Freddy ) was flat , couldn’t hit a note, let alone hold one and literally murdered each song. Interval couldn’t come quick enough and we weren’t the only ones leaving. Worst tribute band singer we have come across.

First visit and not too disappointed. Comfortable seat, good view and pleasant experience. But why the wokery with toilet sign? There are only 2 genders after all. All this non binary, pre decimal nonsense.

Very nice place, small but good seating just avoid the front row.
