Went her with my family for banquet night tonight. As always it was great. Love the food here, top quality and loads of different dishes to choose from. Service was also very good, staff are lovely, which is why this is my favourite place to eat! 🤩 Great work Brandon Tandoori, always great to visit you. 😊

Just what a proper Indian restaurant should be from layout and decor to friendly service and well presented, tasty food. And all at excellent prices. The menu choices are extensive, ranging from traditional, well-known, fayre to more unusual chef specialities. The vegetarian options are a-plenty. The seating booths provide for privacy and an intimate dining experience. Each is equipped with an electrical socket for plugging in a hot tray for keeping food piping hot. A call button allows a discreet way of gaining staff attention without having to wave your arms around or catch someone as they pass by. Service was quick and efficient. I think the chili pepper guide for the seasoning heat of dishes is reliable. We had both lamb and chicken in our order and both were well cooked, moist and tender. Portion sizes are generous, so bear that in mind when ordering. It's very easy to over order! I only wish we had a restaurant like this back home!

We went the restaurant for around 5.30 there were four adults and two children.it was busy in there so service was slow but we did order a shed load of food we had poppadoms,starters ,kids meals, kids afters entrees galore with sides and breads. We had ciders coke and drinks all through the meal and it was great .we came out with a doggy bag after about 2 and a half hours and it cost £175 .all in all it was as usual great.

We thought it would be a good restaurant looking at the previous reviews but the three vegan and vegetarian meals we had were all tasteless. The staff was very friendly and maybe the food with meat is better but we definitely had way better vegan and vegetarian Indian cuisine.

This was one of the best Indian meals we had had in a long time. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, and lovely staff. They were extremely helpful, and very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. We were very impressed, and would thoroughly recommend going. We will be back!

We stayed in Brandon to visit my mother and was recommended this restaurant as the Italian had closed, but we were glad that it had because we were in for a treat. We have a take away from our local restaurant once a week and you realise what absolute crap food you have been eating all these months. The Tandori mixed grill that I ordered was lovely you could taste all the herbs and spices and the meat was soft and tender. My wife had a king prawn Dansak she is of Indian Heritage and was very impressed with the cooking. The waiters were freindly and very attentive and the the beer very cold. The only downside was a party of couples from the London area, their accents gave them away, they were appallingly behaved every second word was the f word it made it very uncomfortable for a nice romantic evening. The owners could have controlled it a little more it would have made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable. Other than this, I would highly recommend this restaurant especially the food.

Recently visited with a few friends through recommendation. The restaurant has a cosy setup with the seating booths and authentic decor. The food was absolutely delicious. Most of us asked for our dishes hot, and these were phenomenal! If you like a good hot curry then I highly recommend their Naga dish. Staff were friendly and excellent. Well worth a visit.

What an absolutely spot on place! From the moment we got there until we left we were given great, friendly service, the food was excellent and the atmosphere just as good. The food was absolutely delicious and piping hot, service was without fault and the friendly staff were a real credit to the restaurant. We will most definitely return again as we thoroughly enjoyed our evening there and would highly recommend this place, both for the food, and the atmosphere. Cannot thank you all enough for helping to make our evening a really pleasant one.

We use Brandon Tandoori as a take away and it’s always been excellent so last night we ate in. We were equally as pleased with our experience. The food is fantastic, the service was good, especially given it was a Saturday and they must have been busy with additional take away orders, and the bill, as always was very reasonable. 2 mains, a bread, 4 popadoms, 3 sides, a rice and sparking water and an alcoholic drink each all under £52! My only suggestion would be change your name to the Brandoori, this is always what we affectionately call you 😉

After a long wait we got our takeaway, and I must say it wasn’t great, Dahl was full of garlic which was just to much, the sag paneer was the worst I’ve eaten, no Paneer! Just a spinach base that wasn’t great with a lump of cheese dumped on the top! It was horrible.

Went along for the Banquet on a Wednesday early evening. First off the restaurant was uncomfortably cold. I ordered the chicken tikka chat, boiled rice and the potato aloo (they wouldn’t substitute a Nan for the side). The chat was tasteless I’m afraid while the aloo was passable. Young waiter that served me was pleasant but didn’t really have the experience to deal with the mediocre response I gave when he asked me about my food. First and last visit.

We order our meals fairly infrequently and also dine in occasionally and have been doing so since the restaurant opened in the late 80s. We enjoyed a take away last night that was ordered on line. We visited Brandon Tandoori with friends on 27th Aug 2020 for the first time after good recommendations. Food was excellent as were all the staff. Regrettably we waited 1 hour and a half for our food to be bought to the table. When we arrived we waited 15 minutes before our drinks order was taken and another 15 minutes before the waiter come to take our food order. It was then long 55 minutes before the food was delivered to our table. We fully appreciate these are difficult times but we feel that the take away orders were prioritised over the diners. The restaurant was not that busy but some diners who arrived after us had their meal before ours; as I said, the take away side was extremely busy with many people collecting and what was obviously a delivery guy making two or three trips. We will visit again soon since as said before the food was superb but timing must improve.

REALLY great to see Brandon Tandoori open it's doors for dine-in again. We did multiple phone ahead for collections throughout lockdown, and now twice dined in (phone ahead for reservation!) Both experiences are superb and highly recommended!

In these difficult times we are more than ever dependant on takeaways for a special meal...our home delivery from Brandon Tandoori was superb and just what we needed..thanks to all and keep up the good work..

The food is great very fresh. They have a lot of foods for if you have allergies so I would highly advice you go. All you have to do is say you have allergy and they will sort it. The only thing is there is about of a wait sometimes but the food makes up for.

This is the third time this year that we have been here. Really friendly staff and very tasty food. I highly recommend the South Indian Rice as an accompaniment to your dish. We will be back.

This is our favourite Indian restaurant by far! I am a vegetarian and my girlfriend is a vegan, so it is really great that their menu actually says which dishes are vegan, so we don't have to worry about hidden ingredients like ghee. We order takeaway often from here and always go for the spicy dhal amongst other things as it's the best dhal we've had! We went in recently and were served by two really kind, friendly and attentive men, we asked for them to write their names on our trip advisor card as we really wanted to show our gratidude for their friendly service! So thank you to Lablow and Rashell for looking after us and really making our experience a relaxing and pleasant one.

I’ve visited multiple times in the last two years and each visit the food and service were delightful. Hard to go wrong with the Pathia and Garlic Naan.

I hate complaining but tonight I had to. We ordered poppadoms which were nice and fresh. Good start. Our order came in a timely fashion, also good however 3 of us had ordered the chicken butter delight but with added chilli. Our order arrived and the “Chicken butter delight” smelt of cheese! Weird we thought. We tried it and strangely it tasted of nothing, totally bland, no spice and no sign of the extra chilli. It had a kind of split creamy sauce sitting on top and it smelt of cheese! We can only imagine this is because either the butter or the cream was off. My garlic chilli rice was nice but four of us had ordered the garlic nan bread and it only had butter on it, no sign (sight, smell or taste) of any garlic at all. We spoke to the waiter who then asked the manager to come over. He refused to acknowledge our complaint, talked over us and was basically rude. He said that was the way the nan was made! I said surely the garlic nan bread should taste garlicky? He refused to even answer my question! He ruined our night out, we will never return. I hope the owner reads these complaints as he needs to know what’s going on in his business. The manager told us nobody had complained before, this is clearly a lie - see the other bad reviews. I’m sure I’ll be “banned for life” for this review which appears to be his stock reply but it won’t affect us as we’ll never be going back. We are a small “curry club” and eat at Indian restaurants all over Norfolk and Suffolk - go to the Raj in Thetford or the Downham Tandoori - much better food and service. I’ve worked in customer service for decades and the first rule is acknowledge the customer’s complaint then apologise and fix it - it’s not about the mistake you make, it’s about how you remedy it - clearly this manager has never heard of customer service! Shame, because Brandon deserves a good Indian restaurant.

The experience was great! Excellent customer service and timely delivery. I had the chicken Tikka garlic with Peshwari nan bread. It is a must try, very delicious!

I have eaten at the Brandon Tandoori quite a few times, it used to be good but has gone downhill since it changed hands. I went on Christmas eve with my Wife and brother in law. The restaurant was very busy with take away orders. I think they underestimated the level of business on Christmas Eve. Our food took 45 minute to arrive. All three of us ordered different Lamb dishes. The lamb for all of us was very tough. Mine was also only luke warm. The environment was also poor as the phone just kept ringing (with a very irritating ring tone) They did not answer the phone according to the young girl front of house as they were overwhelmed with orders. I really could not eat teh cold tough lamb, so asked to see the maanger. He did not come to my table so I went up to the bar and asked again. I said I just wanted to pay and leave but was not happy to pay full price as the food was not up to standard. the young girl did her best to get the manager (he was in the kitchen helping as they were swamped). When he did come out I repeated my complaint, he simply said "your trying to get a free meal". I said I was not but did not feel it fair to pay full price as the food was so poor. I suggested he suggest a price he felt fair. He then said nobody complains your simply trying to get a free meal pay for the drinks only and you are banned.At this point he answered the phone and I heard somebody complaining at their poor quality takeaway. I then paid as requested and left. I really was not trying to get a free meal and just wanted some acceptance that the meal was poor. The Manager really needs to change his attitude to complaints as reviewing other feedback shows that banning complainers is his normal practice.

All the food I ordered had a great depth of flavor and was as nice as they described on the menu . It also tasted fresh and the portions were a decent size . I dream about their Chicken Garlic , it really was THAT good !

We stayed in Brandon for a few days and returned yet again to the Brandon Tandoori for a takeaway. The food was delicious and we did not regret our decision. We always return to the Brandon Tandoori whenever we visit Brandon and are never dissapointed

We had such a fabulous experience at the Brandon Tandoori Restaurant. We were visiting our daughter, son-in-law and new grandson from North Carolina. The staff made sure our family was comfortable our table and the babies comfort. Best of all the food was fabulous. I've had Indian cuisine all over the world and the food at this establishment was at the top. Thank you for your hospitality, our evening experience and our absolutely delicious meal. To any of my fellow Americans visiting the Brandon, England area the Brandon Tandoori is a "must go" to enjoy these pleasures......Wynn and Trish Odom.

Visited this restaurant with a mate whilst on a coarse nearby. The food was amazing, very tasty and plenty of it and at a good price too. There were dishes on the menu I'd never heard off, a great selection. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. All in all, a great visit. Would reccommend.

Regular visitor to brandon tandori restaurant, always excellent food and service from staff 5 stars is not enough for the quality of there food highly reccomend freindly atmosphere very welcoming to familys me and my son vist every couple of weeks and always keep coming back, freindly manager and staff, ive used there home delivery service and thats arrived on time and hot so thats another good service which they provide.

We have lived here for over 20 years now and have probably commented on this restaurant on a number of occasions, good mostly. Not this time. I had to remind myself the order for our takeaway recently. Supposed to have the ‘Chef’s Special, Jhaz chicken. Menu stated ‘fried onion, capsicum, fresh herbs, coriander, green chilli and a touch of mustard’. Sorry, not a lot of onion, probably 2 thin slices of pepper. No fresh herbs. Not particularly spicy. Chicken on a skewer so over cooked, we thought possibly re heated. Mr S not so inspired either, basic rogan josh.. Not a lot to comment on really. There is little competition for Indian restaurants now Ashgar is no longer here. We are encouraged Lakenheath and Thetford will deliver to Brandon and will give them a try.

I travel around the country for work and love Indian food. This restaurant is right up there (for me). Service was just right - attentive but not hurried. They were happy to tweak the menu for me and the starter was spot on. So subtle in the flavours. Main course had plenty of meat with a lovely "kick" and the naan was nice - light and fluffy - and with the extra requested garlic. £25 for starter, main course and a couple of pints. Can't fault it at all. 10/10. Thank you.

I ordered King Prawn Tikka Masala and it was awful. The sauce was bland, the prawns were hard and so difficult to chew that I gave up after a couple of bites and chucked it in the bin. Having said that the portion was way too small. My husband ordered King Prawn Biriani and although he was given plenty of rice there was little curry sauce and he also did not like his food which is unusual for him.

Visited here on the last evening of our holiday - great service and food is lovely - nice and hot and plentiful. Staff all very attentive and friendly.

We had a short stay in Brandon the last weekend in August and were a little hesitant to eat here having read some of the reviews, quite a lot of which are about the delivery service. Someone even wrote a bad review about the delivery service while we were eating in the restaurant and I can only say in their defense they were advertising on the door for delivery drivers, so I guess they were short staffed.

Another great meal from the Brandon Tandoori, Ikbal is always very friendly & happy as is the rest of the staff! Would highly recommend eating in & takeaway

We booked table by phone but when we arrived had no record of booking. Was accused of not booking.Given table service very slow due to high volume of take away orders. Staff rude and arrogant. Food poor. Larger on turn

Enjoyable meal food was pretty good and of note is that the dips accompanying popadoms were very decent sized!! Main course was ok, not great, the lamb was a little tough but almost made up for by the great peshwari naan and mushroom rice.

We’ve tried all restaurants in the area and Brandon Tandoori serves the best food by far. All staff are helpful and Iqbaz is an especially friendly waiter and can’t do enough for you. Definitely our new regular for take always and eating in.

We had the best meal at Brandon Tandoori few years before but we came here last weekend during our holiday.Food was okey ... Restaurant was quite and slow service.There were only 2 other customers in the restaurant,We will not return.!!!

Restaurant was completely empty when we visited (it was a Tuesday evening I suppose). The staff were very nice, couldn't really fault them. Food did take a little while to come out even though we were the only people in there. The table was very small which made it difficult for 4 of us to get all our food on. Overall satisfactory, not overly mind blowing but not bad either.

The menu is excellent lots of choice mild dishes with 1 chilli symbol 3 chillis for hot dishes. Lots of vegetarian dishes which are very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very professional.

We have been going to Brandon India for over 20 years . So disappointed with the food and drink order 3 coke all flat send back and another 3 flat cokes in the end change our drinks. Food was not good as it was little portion and more money. New menu if you started is over £5.00 it cost an extra £2.00 not sure why you would pay this £5.25 for my stater because it over 5 pounds not cost you £7.25 !!!!

Ordered a takeaway last night for my anniversary,my partners curry had 4 pieces of chicken,I sat and ate mine alone while he took his back,they recooked his meal,when he said it was expensive they said there'd overcharged him by a tenner,disgraceful,would never trust this place,sure people rate this place as theres no competition

Not the best takeaway we’ve had. Husband happy with his meal. Mine was supposed to be chicken tikka garlic chill. Not much chilli in fact I couldn’t find any. Samosas where awful, clearly brought in and filled with poor quality very ground meat. Disappointed on this occasion. On the plus side, delivery was prompt.

A quick phone call was sufficient to book a meal for our large family group (17 or so) in Aug 2018 (apologies for late review). We were staying in the local Center Parc and read reviews about how good this place was meant to be, but very disappointed. On the positive side the flavours were good, but on the negative side the rice portions were half of what I am used to and there was hardly any meat in the dishes we ordered (take away). This restaurant never disappoints! The staff is always kind, friendly, and attentive. We always enjoy chatting with the people who work there and they make us feel welcome. The food is consistently delicious and we always leave satisfied and full. There’s a variety of items on the menu for all tastes and preferences for everyone. Brandon Tandoori is cautious about food allergies (peanut allergies, dairy, etc.) I know this from experience because we have someone with a peanut allergy and vegans as well in my family and still have items that we can enjoy. If you’re worried about that then hopefully this can give you some peace of mind. For the ones with no dietary restrictions you’ll definitely find something you love. Without a doubt this place is a family favourite and we’ll always come back.

Very drab surroundings in need of an update. Bring a booster seat as booth seats are too low for table. Table too small. not enough room for two people once dishes served. When plate heater was placed on table plates overhung the table by a couple of inches, The food was not good. four pieces of chicked in the msin meal. Was not good quality very chewy. The waiters were pleasant and helpful but that was the only good thing. Will definately not go again

I've been going to Brandon Tandoori for years now and the food and service is always on point. Iqbal and the team are always attentive and kind. The food is to a high standard and the naan is hard to beat!! Prices are really reasonable and there is a Wendesday Banquet Night which is a great opportunity to try several items on the menu.
