Great breakfast for fueling a big walk.

Just been here today for lunch (3 adults and friendly spaniel). The lady has just taken the business on for herself. The breakfast wrap was huge. The shared meat & cheese platter was excellent. We were offered a free refill for our tea & extras to our platter if we wanted it. Friendly service, reasonable prices. We would definitely return.

Cute little hidden cafe on the main street of Windermere. Easy to miss, but you'll be missing out on the gorgeous food they do here. The menu really doesn't lie when they describe the food here. Definitely worth a visit. The staff were really friendly, humble too when I complimented the food. The wine flights look very appealing.

Me, my partner and our dog went on holiday to the Lake District and found this cafe in town. The service is amazing and the lady is so friendly. Food and drink comes out quick and is delicious! If you are going to the Windermere village you have to stop by Brambles cafe, it will certainly not disappoint. Beautiful little cafe and we came everyday day during our stay at the lakes. If you have a dog also they are very accommodating and friendly! Do not miss out coming here.

Lovely little find breakfast was just delicious full English nothing fried so not covered on grease dog friendly staff and owner so friendly. Reasonably priced Cooked a sausage for the dog separately too

Lovely friendly little cafe. My partner and I stopped for a snack and ended up having a delicious meat/ cheese sharing platter along with some pate. Perfect.

Lovely café, we left suitably refreshed and full for our walk back to the camp site. A real treasure with a great feel to the place akin to ‘last of the summer wine’ [meant in the nicest way]. Thank you we shall be back next year.

A little gem of a cafe tucked away in Windermere village offering excellent value English breakfast, toasties , coffee, cakes etc in a delightful bistro style interior with additional seating outside.

We were walking past this cafe on the Windermere circle when we noticed large bowls of soup and huge sandwich plates being served - it all looked very nice. So we decided to stop in for a tea and snack break. Soup was delicious as was the full cream tea and children’s brownie. The cafe has an outdoor and indoor section - on street parking was available outside - overall a good option in Windermere.

Little cafe on the one way system in Windermere which is easy to miss (it's practically opposite WH Smiths!) Had a very nice and varied menu,but as it was early, Hubby and I had a lovely full English each with a Latte yesterday morning. Bacon well cooked as requested, good quality ingredients. Lady Owner very attentive, came out of the kitchen to check we were OK with everything. Great food, great service, what more can you ask for? Give the other larger cafes in Windermere a miss and call in here- it's definitely worth it!

Spotted this quaint little café the previous evening and thought it looks like a nice little place go and try out instead of a larger restaurant sized outlet for my breakfast!!! Karen the owner turned out to live close to where I’m from so I thought I’d take the time to write a review of her beautiful little cafe . Well I go out Every single day to eat at various places and this is definitely my favourite cafe in Windermere!!! It’s a very cosy place and Karen makes you feel very welcome. The breakfast was gorgeous and came with scrambled eggs and also the choice of brown bread too ( which is a must for me ) . I come fishing here a lot on Windermere and haven’t ventured this far from the waters edge before to eat but I’ll 100% be returning as the price , service , quality of this place as well as the choice to sit out and watch the world go by is amazing. What a great venue - from Karen’s warm and friendly welcome with friendly chat to a quick service for breakfast. Breakfast was 11/10 it was - fresh and tasty and hot and a great start to the day. Would recommend Brambles for breakfast or lunch or a coffee or glass of wine due to the friendly welcome, fabulous food and clean and lovely venue

This is a fabulous place to eat, drink, and chill. Very warm welcome, my friend and I got. The food was delicious and colourful presentation . Everything was just perfect. I well recomend you visit and see for yourself. The owner is lovely too and makes everyone feel special.

Visited for a coffee. Only a few other customers in there. Service was quite slow. Coffee was fine. There are other options which are better.

We were a group of 4 and a dog. We came here for breakfast, food and service was amazing. So amazing that we came here for breakfast every day of our stay. Nothing was a bother. Also a massive thank you to the cook, she is a legend and one of the friendliest people you will meet.

Looking for a nice cream tea, sat outside in the sun, all staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, half the price of a cream tea in the other cafés in the area, and I could have a beer afterwards!

Lovely lady owner made to feel very welcome, had some lunch sandwiches and a jam and cream scone really enjoyed it , followed by a bottle of red wine to wash it down highly recommend.

I love being able to say that the staff were as divine as the food. And they were and it was. The toilets were also super cute (see photo).

Brambles is our first choice for a snack in Windermere if I can park close by as I have difficulty walking. It suits us both just fine, good food, pleasant environment and very reasonable price. What more can you want? JK.

This place is a little gem, food and drinks were excellent, staff were extremely polite and courteous. Lovely outdoor seating area, would highly recommend a visit.

Ordered a pizza today for £8 to realise it was a 99p frozen pizza from the shop…evidently the standards of cafe dining lack at this establishment as cafes in my hometown wouldn’t dream of serving frozen pizzas at 8X the original cost. Coffee was also scorching hot which burnt my tongue resulting in an inability to taste the pizza… suppose that’s a positive in the situation. Lady who served us was lovely though, hence the 2 stars.

We had a couple of sandwiches and coffee. All tasted great. The service was quick and friendly and the place is cute and clean. Recommended.

Called in for a late breakfast. All staff were very nice and helpful. Wife had smoked salmon on a bagel i had a full English was cooked to order and was lovely . Could not be more pleased.off the main street but so glad we found it

First day in the lakes..my battery ran out. Looking for a place to chill and charge my battery and to meet my mates.. most places were either packed or said no charger available.. and then along came Karen at Brambles.. what a woman..great cakes..and I asked for a cuppa tea..and the pot she gave was like never-ending.. my mates eventually turned up..ordered as well.. great place.. great find.. Soup was tasty and reasonably priced. Soft drinks were a rip off, £2.50 for a can of coke! Sandwiches were tasty, but a little overpriced at £6.95. Service was superb and staff were friendly.

Called in Saturday morning for a quick coffee and wished that we had the time to have stopped for a bite to eat. Welcoming staff and superb coffee (we saw some lovely food being served) means that we will definitely return for something to eat next time.

As a group of 5 they clearly struggled to prepare food for us. We all ordered the same full breakfast but it was almost 40 minutes from order to food which is not great. It was very tasty when it arrived.
