Great staff great selection of drinks and all other customers are friendly!

Music was way too loud, couldn’t have a conversation with the person sitting next to me.

Matthew and Emily were amazing hosts. The knowledge that Matthew possesses about cocktails and whiskies cannot he understated, and Emily made us feel very welcome at the place. We will definitely be coming back thanks to these two.

Super creative drinks, great atmosphere and awesome service. Prices aren't cheap, but for a cocktail bar they're pretty good in my opinion. Would reccomend!

Sat at the bar last night with my new wife on our honeymoon, Matthew and byron were awesome had such a fun night, so knowledgeable and their service was absolutely on point

Personally found the staff to be quite discriminating but maybe i caught them on a bad night. However this is not at an excuse.

Secret cocktail bar. From the outside you can't see that it is a drinking establishment. It is very curious. Great variety of cocktails, although somewhat expensive. But to see a place like this it is worth it. There were tables and sofas to sit on and although there was music you could talk perfectly.

My favourite Edinburgh cocktail bar, great recipes using unusual ingredients. Tucked away off the beaten track but well worth seeking out. Comfy place to while away an hour or two on a cold night. Friendly service, great drinks.

Went there 3 times in a week. Great drinks(shoutout to the Caribana) and music, friendly atmosphere. Staff was beyond amazing! Will be back!

I absolutely loved this bar when I visited Edinburgh. The music selection was brilliant and the spirit knowledge the staff had was really impressive! My favourite spirit is usually Ron Zacapa, after 2 visits I seemed to have polished off the lot so they were able to recommend me something very similar. It has a lovely cosy atmosphere and I'll definitely be back...

We heard about this wee gem from friends so had to try it out when we came to the city. Defo worth a visit if you like small low-key and intimate places. The chill hip hop playing was perfect. Interesting and tasty cocktails on the menu plus all the classics. Will be back for another negroni!

There's a reason Bramble is consistently highly ranked in the world's best cocktail bar listings. Original cocktails skilfully made in a cool, chilled environment at very reasonable prices. The highlight for me though (along with the top class booze) is the staff aren't pretentious unlike some other cocktail bars; they just want to find what you're after and give you a top experience. A must visit if visiting Edinburgh.

I loved the vibe here. DJ played great music with a mix of old school hip hop and new. Drink selection was amazing with a unique tasty combination of mixers.

Very strange experience. Just tried to enter with my partner after watching a comedy show at the fringe and we were told we were not allowed to enter because we seemed too intoxicated by a very abrupt woman on the door. Despite having a couple of drinks at the comedy and being far from “too intoxicated”. We then tried to ask what about our approach gave that impression (out of interest rather than trying to gain entry) and she just said “dunno, just what I thought”. Have never experienced this before and quite a vibe killer! Based on this experience, I’d say avoid - off to find a bar with friendlier, more competent door staff!

Theoretically, just my kind of place. But this evening didn’t work for us. Service seemed indifferent, drinks were just ok.

A very unassuming basement bar. Incredible service and wonderful drinks! Seriously have never received better service at a bar. Drinks run about 10 pounds each. Lovely spot!

We’d been recommended this place by a bartended in London for its hip hop and good cocktails. Lived up to expectation! Particularly enjoyed Carabena with yuzu and chartreuse.

Small basement bar, sort of hidden. Creative, well-balanced cocktails at a decent price. Not too busy at 10 pm on a Tuesday night, which was great.

I had several nice cocktails, nice vibe and friendly staffs. They served a nice cocktail quickly. But this place is noisy because there are many groups of friends and music is bit weird. (so I don't recommend this place as a first date place.)

Difficult to find, but worth it (discreet sign on the railings). Imaginative cocktails by people passionate about their work.

Visited for the first time on Friday. Great atmosphere and vibe. Staff were very attentive with drink orders and had great knowledge at recommending drinks. Would return here again if I'm ever in Edinburgh.

Very friendly welcome and a lovely atmosphere inside. Really cosy and good music. we ordered some drinks that weren’t on the menu and it was no issue at all.. fast service and delicious drinks. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back.

Visited Edinburgh two times so far and I got the chance to visit Bramle twice as well. Both times have been delightful. Would highly recommend.

Won’t be back. We were in on a family reunion. 8 of us expecting to be there for a few hours. Just arrived. Ordered drinks. Within the first 15 minutes a waiter came over to tell us to stop taking photos with a flash. My son works in America in hospitality so went over to ask what the problem was…hurts our eyes is what we were told!!! We were having a lovely reunion..8 of us….big drinks bill…left abruptly! How absurd!

Oh my days!! What a treasure this was. Super hard to find though so be warned. Really cool and non traditional cocktail menu, well priced compared to other bars to. Overall lovely vibe, nice staff, atmospheric.

Difficult to find but a great bar. Relaxed atmosphere with seriously good cocktails with flavor combinations I had not seen before They have an extensive menu but do offer to make you something different if you want.

Exemplary and unique drinks, partnered with a lovely interior and outstanding service. All of the staff members were extremely attentive and knowledgeable without being too intrusive or overbearing. If you're considering stopping in definitely go for it :)

Fun secret hideaway bar. Not lit up or signed and easy to miss and just walk on by. The only give away is the door person standing in the street.

Small place with a lot of spots to take your mixed drinks. However, there is no tab for a lager beer.

First of all I do not like cocktails. But because of Bramble now I do love them. Or at least I like the Bramble's ones. The bartender did some mind-blowing sorcery with peated whisky and mezcal that I just can't forget. Thanks for the drinks, the company and the bottle of Bramble's whisky.

Basement cocktail bar with excellent service from the staff. The cocktails are quite unique and use unconventional ingredients providing quite a unique experience to other bars. A bramble is a must but the whole menu is opening to what have be done with liqueur, sour, sugar and spices. Only recommendation for the team would be to darken the atmosphere slightly. Friendly and skilled staff both Tom and Tom charmed me heavily while also delivering high quality cocktails from both on and off the menu. Affordable drinks at high quality, with a great vibe and customer service would highly recommend this bar to anyone interested in cocktails and even if your not it's worth checking out.

Such a beautiful place and the most interesting fact being the location of the bar which is downstairs from the road which is an adventure itself to find out 😍 They do serve amazing cocktails and the servers were so damn good, so 5* for it

Excellent cocktails but I think it would be best to have more thorough descriptions of them on the menu rather than needing to rely on waiter's narrative and memory.
