Absolutely amazing dinner! Everything about the restaurant from start to finish was fantastic. Staff were so knowledgeable and friendly. Every course was incredible and I didn’t want them to end. Restaurant it’s self is lovely and cosy. The whole experience was a pleasure and I cant wait to return.

We have been eating here for twenty years and the consistent high quality of the food keeps drawing us back to this gem of a restaurant. The food is always delicious, always perfectly cooked, and the service is outstanding. Braidwoods deserve their Michelin star.

The Gypsy Cream

12/02/2019: Food is always superb, and offers smaller portions if required. Usually we do because portions are large, and food is great.
06/02/2019: My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting for lunch today, as recommended by a friend. The lunch we had was delicious,my wife and I both had the combo of soup and a panini. I had the cream of celery soup and my wife had the lentil and ham ( both soups were full of flavour and absolutely delicious) We both chose to have a cheese and caramelised onion panini which again was lovely. The staff were excellent,as was the service and also the place was spotlessly clean. I would certainly recommend this place to our family and our friends. Next time my wife and I are back in Largs, we would not hesitate to go back for lunch. Thanks to the Gypsy cream and all the staff for a lovely lunch and great service.

The Old Pier Tearoom

07/10/2018: We were lucky to get a seat here on our second visit and another great experience awaited. Menu on the wall is comprehensive and there's a brill choice of eats. Soup was a tricky decision as they all sounded delicious-mushroom and celeriac, red lentil and veg, sweet potato with lime and coconut-homemade bread fab too. Lattes were perfect with beautiful buttermilk scone and Greek honey cake. Service is speedy and friendly. Can't wait to return!
08/10/2018: I reviewed this lovely small cafe about 2 years ago and having returned for a day trip this week my wife and I called in for lunch. It is every bit as good as it was...Good food a very reasonable prices. It has a reall nice atmosphere due to very helpfull staff. If you are ever in the area do not go past it.
