The decor and vibe are really cool, but the food was mediocre at best. How can a dish with chorizo be bland? The pancakes were cakey than is expected of pancakes, just dry. The French toast had way too much caramel sauce and burnt pecans. At this price point, I expect better seasoning and flavors.

Great place for bottomless brunch at the weekend.

Came here for a special evening not too long ago, the warming atmosphere with the roaring fireplaces and eclectic array of plants made this destination immediately feel like home. The drinks were absolutely sublime, and the bartenders were consummate professionals. I can’t wait till the next occasion I get to return to Bourne and Hollingsworth. It’s the perfect destination for any occasion, big or small. Do yourself a favour and go for dinner, drinks, or brunch at B&H as soon as you can!

I wish I could give this exquisite dining abode the 10 stars that it’s worth instead of just the 5 allowed by google reviews. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a romantic evening with their special someone (or someones, we don’t judge). The charming atmosphere is sure to enchant your senses as much as the delectable food will delight your palate. The manager is incredibly kind and will anticipate your every need. All in all, such a big slay.

Service charge doesn’t go to staff. Which is absolutely unacceptable. Tips are not to top up wages or to go to the business owners, they are a bonus for great service which we received. Until they sort out their policy I won’t be returning. The food and service were great but I cannot return to this place until they look after their service staff better. They work long hours, and deserve to be rewarded for their hard work. Not lining the pockets of the owner.

Didn’t go inside in the end as didn’t like the vibe.

Food was okay, however they got two of our orders incorrect and gave one of our friends a food with an allergen so she had to take an antihistamine. Our friend called ahead to ensure this wouldn’t happen and spoke to staff when she got there and it still happened. This is something that could shut down a restaurant and the staff did not take this seriously. If you have an allergy I would not risk coming here. One of the waiters was lovely.

Very spacious location that is decorated lovely. The food was majorly delicious, however the deserts were not keeping up with the expectations. The service is horrible. Numerous orders were taken wrong, served delayed, and stuff doesn't seem to want to leave a good impression. Unfortunately, this left us with a disappointing birthday experience for one of my friends (group of 10).

NYE event was great, except for indoors fireworks, please never do this again :)

I booked for a birthday brunch here for a group of 10 of us. B&H offer many different brunch combination options and I was the only one in my group who chose the bottomless Bellini one, while some just had a different drink or just one Bellini. While the food and atmosphere was great, the waitress seemed overwhelmed and even mentioned she had been working a long time without a break. She appeared to input our brunch combos into the bill wrong and we had to dispute this to get it corrected. Given this and the unhurried pace regarding topping up my bottomless drink, we decided not to pay service charge. However, I would recommend coming here because the interior is lovely and the food tasty, the food did come at a fast rate and the staff were helpful when we had a query. We enjoyed our time and I appreciated the candle for my birthday! Thank you B&H Buildings

Came for the Molton Brown Brunch which we really enjoyed! The food was delicious especially the french toast and eggs Benedict. Drinks were never empty by the staff being so attentive and top it off it came with a goody bag full of Molton Brown goodies. Very cool vibe!

I booked the Private Dining Room for my 40th Birthday Celebration and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The pre-planning team were super helpful & organised making a very smooth & stress free experience. Special shout out to India who answered all my Q’s like a pro! Celebrated our Christmas Party here and loved every second, the package was perfect for the team. Servers were attentive and friendly throughout the night, with bar staff quick and efficient. Would highly recommend events here, one of the best parties we have had in a long while!

The place looks the part, very nicely decorated, trendy. Our food was average at best. My eggs benedict were lukewarm and the sauce barely had any taste. My partner’s burger was ok fries were deepfreeze fries. Cocktails were ok. Pancakes slightly burned at the edges, my bacon tasteless and seemed like it was made the dat before.

The place is absolutely stunning and decorated with great taste. I was however disappointed by the food, which I found quite expansive and relatively basic. I had a brunch formula, and the Vegetarian English was not that exciting. I would have preferred to order a la carte instead of having to order two dishes.

Not a great experience. The waitress seemed off from the very beginning and came across rude, when asked if she was okay, she responded in a defensive manner. I then spoke to the man at the door about the experience with the waitress. He was more interested in taking people to their seats rather than talking to me about my experience. Me and my friend both felt the service was poor, unfriendly and had a long delay. Food is nice and unfortunately we won't be coming back because the service is astoundingly bad. What a shame.

Worth every penny for a Sunday brunch. The staff were really great, food was delicious and service was great. Would suggest doing a reservation, even if i went in alone and got a spot instantly. Suggestion: bottomless+ brunch. 2 plates and flowing spritz

Really enjoyed their Huevos Benedictos, also had the French toast - I had asked for sauce on the side which I recommend as you can then pour the amount you want (it comes with a lot!!). Overall great value for money with unlimited drinks - you’re not restricted to sticking with just one choice (can literally have cocktails, soft drinks, and coffees/teas!) which is much appreciated as rarely the case. Super cool atmosphere and nice decor. You are held to the 1h30 booking slot though, we did somehow felt pushed out at the end.

Impeccable service in a gorgeous environment. The food was good, too. Not just one of these "instagrameable" places that trap you with their ambience and don't deliver.

What a stunning place! An absolute must do when in London. The food is out-of-this-world and the aesthetic is amazing. It's like sitting inside a a cottage greenhouse/orangery. It is the perfect place for celebrating with friends and family. While we were there, there were birthday celebrations and baby showers. It has such a nice atmosphere. We had the classic brunch at £32 per person. This came with a drink (soft drink, cocktail or hot), a main course like eggs Benedict (Spanish style), salt beef hash or an English breakfast. Then there is a desert type breakfast dish like maple bacon pancakes or french toast. Everything is delicious!!!

The place is very instagrammable when you look it up but the whole experience left much to be desired. The menu sounds all fancy, but difficult to decipher what it all actually means and very limited. The dishes are poor in terms of accompaniments. The food itself wasn't that well presented and didn't taste special. My friend had 3 clams on her plate, of which 2 were empty. They serve some of their cocktails in jam jars which is unappetising, unelegant, cheap and weird. The service is awful. They ask you if you are ready to order every 5 minutes from the moment you arrive but when everyone is there and ready, they don't check at all. We waited like 45 minutes for our food. Then another 20 for drinks. We asked for the bill to be split but the girl never came back. The other one said "yeah, yeah" then turned her back on us and continued to re-arrange furniture. Would never ever go back again. Super expensive and most of us left hungry and disappointed. We actually requested the 12% charge be removed as £250 was already plenty of spend on this.

Fantastic gem worth visiting!! The atmosphere food and service were absolutely amazing! We celebrated my friends hen night there it was few of us so we were sitted in beautiful rustic covered in pots and plants room full of light which gave cosy but elegant feeling! We had bottomless brunch and boy those mimosas were delicious and coming fast!! If you ever in that area it is a must visit! Your better book before as it was packed on sat brunch time!

The only thing is that the cushions were dirty and the toilet could be more comfortable/clean/modern.

Enjoyed a lovely bottomless brunch with friends for my birthday - really reasonable priced for London, two courses and bottomless drinks, attentive service meaning we were never waiting too long for a top up! I had the Mexican take on eggs Benedict and the pancakes, both of which were great. Drinks options could have been more varied but overall we had a brilliant time. The main selling point is definitely the building itself, stunning interior and a really laid back but bustling atmosphere.

Quirky and fun ambience! Great friendly staff. Was here for a seasonal menu tasting event and was sat at the bar. The bar staff were experienced and was fun to watch them in action, they were also happy to chat and give informative background on the chosen cocktails of the night. They were very knowledgeable. The food was absolutely divine and service was excellent, dishes went out so orderly to the whole venue so that you were all experiencing the same flavours at the same time. There was a choir that came in and sang between some of the courses, it was such an intimate and wonderful experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful that it just added to the experience. This venue would also be a great option for hiring out! The layout is so versatile and they seem so accommodating.

Came here for my best friend's baby shower and it was just the most beautiful setting! Service was impeccable and friendly, from booking all the way to small requests on the day. Super accomodating and great brunch venue!

I hosted my best friend's bridal shower here in May. Get experience overall. They were amazing with dealing with the orders of 15 people and responding to my many questions. On the night, we had a dedicated waitress, which meant we did not have to wait around to get our drinks topped up or for our food to arrive. It really added to the experience. We were there until closing, and we did not feel rushed out. Beautiful decor and calming atmosphere.

Been here for work drinks a few times. The decor is stunning and very classy. It'd be a great venue for a special occasion, engagement party or something like that. Easy to snap some great photos here!

I visited with my boyfriend for birthday brunch as I’d heard such great things about the place. I booked 3 months ahead in order to get a spot in the conservatory (left a note in the booking too). When we arrived they seated us in a squashed corner right next to another couple, even though the place was almost empty. When I asked if we could move to the (empty) conservatory, the waitress said it was fully booked and we would have had to ask in advance... which I did. The service was slow and we only had 4 drinks, which isn’t super bottomless. It was all incredibly disappointing and honestly the service felt condescending. It’s a shame when a place believes its own hype and stops trying.

I went to B&H for a bottomless brunch with a friend, and we paid £42 each for what was essentially a Wetherspoons breakfast accompanied by some pretty grim cocktails. The Bloody Mary’s were bloody awful and the Prosecco had a distinct Worcester sauce aftertaste. I would steer clear of this place, unless your ideal Saturday involves daylight robbery with a side of poached eggs.

We were a group of 5 visiting for bottomless brunch on 10th October. A couple of our party members were about 10 minutes late and the waitress informed us that our 1.5 hour slot would begin once we had placed our orders. This is standard practice for bottomless brunches.Food was good and bad in parts. Delicious pancakes but not the best savoury dishes. Would not revisit this place just for the food. Nice atmosphere inside though - light and open. Good coffee.The staff were very courteous throughout but then when 1.5 hours after our original booking time arrived, we were told to move tables and informed that we could not order any more drinks - this essentially meant that our brunch was about 1 hour 10 minutes long as we did not start at our original booking time, and we were not informed that we had to!Very disappointing and it should be made clear that your bottomless brunch slot starts immediately at your booking time if they’re going to be so strict about it.Disappointing way to treat customers and a rip off. Won’t be returning.

We didn’t even stay for the food. Arrived for our sitting, and had to battle our way to the host to let them know we’d arrived, as the coat check is also there and creates a bottleneck. We were then told that our table would be free in ‘two minutes’ and the outgoing party was paying. We waited for ten minutes, the host gestured at us (didn’t apologise for making us wait) and changed her mind about showing us to a table, pointed at the bar and said ‘this is your table’. My friend had requested I book this place for her birthday brunch and didn’t want to stay. I booked a table, not a seat at the bar. Overcrowded, understaffed. Certainly won’t be back. We went to Caravan on Exmouth Market and it was excellent. Polite staff make the world of difference.

Attended one of their bottomless brunches with 7 of my friends to celebrate my 22nd birthday. What a lovely afternoon! Beautuful venue, very affordable, food was smashing and the Bellini’s were topped up consistently throughout the brunch (which was impressive considering how fast we were finishing them). My only criticism would be that I don’t feel an hour and a half was long enough, they should extend the brunch to at least 2 hours I think so that you can eat and drink comfortably. We felt a little bit rushed to leave after the booking time ended. All in all, thank you for a brilliant birthday brunch, my friends and I were very impressed!

We visited for brunch and it's beautiful place and a nice quiet part of London. The food was decent, but nothing to get excited about. Worth dropping in for a drink or a snack, if only to enjoy the decor.

Myself and two friends visted for brunch and we all loved our meals. We were sat at very low tables though which was uncomfortable for my legs. When we asked if we could swap to a higher table which we could see was free we were told NO very abruptly we no logical reason given.

Waste of money and time! Went for my birthday brunch, we were 20 mins late to sit down. Waiter had an attitude. Constantly had to pull him over to get service. Was told we had to wait to order food and that we could order new drinks once we had finished the ones we have.... Service was incredibly slow. Food was very average. We were asked to leave table as our time was up before we had finished eating and manager was unwelcoming and unapologetic. Don’t go here if you expect good service, good food or good atmosphere , so many better places in London for a happy birthday brunch!

Absolutely awful service, went with a group of girls for my friends birthday and from the minuet we entered the building we had cold rude lazy service. Table wasn’t ready for 20minuets. The waiter was so unbelievably rude, rolling eyes at the table, ignoring our table and just slamming drinks and the front of the table then walking away. After waiting over half an hour we flagged down a waiter to order food he then just answered no, you can order in 5 minuets. After finally ordering the food took a further 45 minuets to come. Shortly after finishing the meal we were told we had to leave the table as our allocated time was up, ridiculous. When speaking with the manger he was dismissive and tried to sell us desert instead of apologies? Would not recommend. There are loads of great brunch places in London this is by far one of worst for service. Food is okay though.

Went as a group for a friend’s birthday. We were honestly all disappointed - I had salmon which was honestly completely tasteless, and very overpriced. The jackfruit burgers were all soggy and the chips were too, and a friend’s chicken was underdone. Not one of us had a good meal. It’s a beautiful setting, but the food was such a let down, we all left feeling underwhelmed and poor! A real shame.

Probably the worst brunch spot I’ve been to in London. Lived here for 8 years and have been to quite a few. I’d head to stoke newington if you want to find nice brunch spots. Never really write these, I’m a 26 year old Londoner I just thought it was so bad not to review. Here are my reasons:- took 1 hour for brunch to be prepared and when it arrived it was cold and looked like image attached. Looks like a good greasy spoon brekky but this place tries to market themselves at a higher level. A greasy spoon place would prepare their food better too.- 1 vegan option- it seems like this place is for drinks and gram uploadsDefinitely won’t come back.

The staff are Rude particularly the woman on the door but also our server. Food is reasonable. Bubbly served with bottomless isn’t that great.

Deco is minimal (a few plants are insufficient to create style and athmosphere), limited menu (valentine...). Had a vegetarian wellington: ridicouloudly small portion, blunt flavors (no creativity in the plate = no fun in the palate). Coktails are nice though lack a bit of 'power'. Staff very nice but won't save the evening :(

Nice enough place with good decor and atmosphere. But that's aboit it. I ordered the burger without the bacon and it came with. The fries on the side tasted like it came frozen from a packet. Actually Frozen fries done well can be decent and this was worse. The burger was dry and flavourless. Redeeming factor was the cheesecake but I'll skip the £50 per person meal.

Ett jättetrevligt ställe med fräsch inredning, lite som att komma hem till någons vardagsrum. Trevlig och mycket påpasslig personal. Lågmält och bra för den som vill dejta. Vi var där och drack goda drinkar och öl. Tydligen finns där bra brunch som en i vårt sällskap testat och sa var mycket bra. Fick inte tillfälle att testa vid detta tillfälle men kommer definitivt göra det vid nästa besök.

Vine aquí con dos amigos para un brunch de cumpleaños sin fondo. Nos dijeron que teníamos que sentarnos en el bar, ya que estaban completamente reservados para el tiempo que queríamos, pero dijeron que podría haber una mesa disponible en el día. En el día, nos vieron directamente a una mesa en la sala de su jardín que era encantador! El servicio fue absolutamente fantástico con nuestra camarera manteniéndonos recargados todo el tiempo. ¡He tenido algunos brunches sin fondo ahora y recomiendo este!

Really like the vibe here. Lots of greenery, bringing the outside in. Good use of pattern and range of textured materials in the design. Food was tasty with good set menu options, well priced. Good vegetarian offer too. Staff very friendly. Only reason not 5 stars is the interior is a bit tired in that fabrics on chairs are fraying badly and look tired

The restaurant environment is perfect, very cosy! The staff is very friendly and the view of London is Stunning.

Recently took my friend for her birthday to B&H; upon a recommendation. it took a long time for our order to be taken and not long after our food arrived we were told we only had 30 mins left of our table. We wanted to order pudding so rushed our mains then our waitress took ages to bring our bill and the card machine, 30 mins had long passed so that confused us. Having said that the food was fantastic and the interior of the restaurant was lovely. Just a shame that we felt a bit rushed that let it down slightly. Wouldn’t rule out coming back.

We booked this beautiful restaurant for my friends baby shower unaware that the brunch service is rush through affair. The food was lovely, but the bottomless bellinis were warm and unpleasant and the service was downright rude. Our waitress rolled her eyes, delivered the bill without us asking, came to collect payment twice before we had even had time to look at the bill and then promptly told us to leave. Luckily we found a nice place in exmouth market for coffee afterwards which saved the afternoon but I would suggest that Bourne & Hollingsworth allow more time for special brunch parties or learn to be rather more discreet about rushing people through.

Friendly service but very limited menu for the Saturday brunch. The food was okay if not very original. The place was mobbed with and amazing number of dressed up young women in groups of six to twelve.

Very friendly staff in cosy place. Interesting cocktail menu. A word of advice don't order cocktails outside the menu. Even classics like Espresso Martini and Whiskey Sour was flavourless, i.e. like no coffee or whiskey in them.

Visited on Saturday for brunch. We had a reservation for 6 people. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself is very pretty to look at.

It’s a shame to write this review, but unfortunately there’s not much positive I can write about my brunch experience. I attended with a hen party, full of joy but it’s a shame the staff didn’t have the same outlook. Our waiter seated us without a smile and offered us drinks with reluctance. I had the eggs royale which had over cooked, hard boiled poached eggs with stone cold Hollandaise. Everything was cold and this was the same for all in the party who had the dish. There was only a dribble of hollandaise and when I received more, it wasn’t a surprise it was also cold. The venue itself is beautiful, but if you can’t cook a poached egg, you shouldn’t be serving brunch. Teach your staff to smile and it might have added another number to my rating. I won’t be returning.

I visited for brunch and specified in the booking that we would need gluten free options. Once seated, I asked what was gluten free or could be modified and was told that I could have the pancakes. I asked if they had gluten free bread, and was told that they don’t offer gluten free bread and that all I could have was the pancakes. There were no apologies or acknowledgement of how limited the menu was and I felt uncomfortable. This was really disappointing as I had been looking forward to visiting after seeing how good the food looked. I don’t understand why it wasn’t possible to offer a savoury gluten free option or gluten free bread or even the option to modify items and not have bread? The Pancakes were fine, but I doubt I will be returning.

I came here on a brunch date with a friend who had been before for a bridal shower. When I arrived I was immediate told we only had the table for an hour and a half. A practice some busy restaurants have but always puts me on egde! Our food was OK but the fabric on our chairs was pretty dirty and didn't add to the charm in our opinion! Things felt a bit sticky and not quite clean. Staff seemed friendly but a little distant. Salmon was actually quite good but wouldn't rush back.

What a fabulous experience! We ended our weekend trip to London with a bottomless brunch here. We were not disappointed! Choices of food were extensive and all lived up to expectations. And we didn’t have to ask for a top up once- our waitress was attentive without being overbearing will definitely be returning!!

The venue is nice but I wouldn’t rave about the place. They could do so much more with it but they don’t.

In this post I am not reviewing the food but our experience at B&H; which as the title suggests wasn’t great to say the least.

I have been to Bourne & Hollingsworth often but unfortunately it is sad to say but it is going down hill. It was a shame as our waitress Anika was amazing attentive and caring! The food isn’t what is was and the bottomless is that great either. I think they need re-assess who their audience is!

Came here for brunch with my daughter and what an experience. Great atmosphere, service and food was amazing. Worth investing in the bottomless Bellini brunch-such good value for the money. Our waitress along with the others were always there to refill your glass. The choice of food was varied and cooked to perfection

My daughter suggested brunch, ended we all ended up having lunch. Really enjoyed the decoration and the relaxed atmosphere. The "Curious" lager had a real hop flavour and and cider a great apple taste. Both brewed in Kent, lovely!

I came in with 2 friend's looking for somewhere to eat locally in the Farringdon area and was not disappointed. The host who greeted us was really cheery and helpful and the staff were very accommodating for the whole evening. The decor was great, and the cocktails were fantastic. The food was also really tasty, I will definately be coming back for the Dark & white chocolate mousse as it was to die for. We are not usually in London but when we are back, we will make sure that we pop in again and will thoroughly be recommending it to friends.

外観は真っ黒で白抜きでお店の名前が書いてある建物ですが、内部はインテリアがとてもおしゃれでスタイリッシュ、ちょっとした日に使えるレベルのレストランです。

Took my parents here after having visited many times before for brunch and we yet again had a fantastic visit. We were well looked after by a really friendly waitress who was quick to refill our drinks at bottomless brunch which was great, never had to ask. I had braised beef which was amazing and the Huevos Benedictos was unreaaal. Definitely my favourite brunch spot in London and a place I'll return to again and again.
