Really excellent local restaurant with superb ambiance. Quality of food and the service with it were just great. Truly enjoyable evening was had by all

Went to the bothy last night with my husband for a valentines meal. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Was served by Abbie who was very attentive all night. Will definitely be back soon!

Fantastic food and excellent service - top notch venue to visit. Selection of mains made it difficult to choose. The lamb and pork were superb. The lamb was voted the best.

What a huge disappointment from the Bothy on Christmas - a thoroughly average meal of which was overpriced for the underwhelming menu, The Bothy rip-off was more of an experience from a Scrooge owner who was more interested in high profit and low customer satisfaction than providing a lovely Christmas experience - dreadful and shameful!

Excellent festive menu. We all really enjoyed our meals. Had a great Irish coffee for my pudding. Turkey nice . Parsnip soup lovely. Husband had smoked salmon. And pickled radish lovely.

I had hot smoked salmon followed by turkey. The former consisted of tiny flakes of salmon two croutons and lots of creamy dip. The turkey was tasteless, the veg not crispy and overcooked. I won't be back.

We went to the Bothy last night before going to a show in town, hadn’t been for a while. The meal was OK but not what we’d expected from the Bothy and the final price which had service charge already added was about 20% more than we expected to pay, needless to say we won’t be back there are many reasonable priced restaurants in Glasgow this one is clinging to past reputation and it won’t last

I only need one word to describe this place - sensational! The food, the ambience, the staff, the wine, the decor - everything. We loved it so much we came back twice in two days! The menu selection for myself as a vegetarian and my friend as a meat eater was vast and simply delicious. The real haggis, vegan haggis and the Cullen skink were particular highlights. I only wish I lived closer to such a brilliant restaurant. My heartfelt thanks to the staff and establishment - you gave us golden memories to treasure!

We haave been to the Bothy a few times over the years, and can honestly say last weeks Sunday roast was by far the best we've been to! Service was good. The food however was sensational! Thank you team :-)
