Gorgeous restaurant, tastefully decorated with extremely professional staff. The food was delicious and surprisingly not that expensive for the atmosphere and quality you get. They even had someone doing operatic singing for a guest’s birthday on the evening we visited!

Tasty Italian place with good portion size.

The food here is amazing. The staff are friendly and attentive. It can be a little pricey, but everywhere is just now you also get what you pay for If you're lucky, the owner will also sing to you.

Superb food and service. A really relaxing atmosphere where you can easily converse without straining your voice (no musak to compete with in the area we were seated). Also great for those with any hearing issues. We will be back.

We attended Borsalino for a belated Christmas family lunch. The food was superb and the staff were lovely and attentive. We've already decided we'll be coming back to try more things from the menu. Probably the best Italian I've had in the Aberdeen area. Also to note, I am a coeliac and the gluten free pizza base is the best I've had in the 7 years of being diagnosed. A proper GF homemade base, which tasted delicious and just like the real thing. No issues after the meal which means no cross contamination either - a coeliac's dream! Thank you so much Borsalino, your service is exquisite!

This place never disappoints. Food is amazing, great selection too. Also very good wine and other drinks options. Knowledgeable staff who are attentive but not overbearing.

We had stopped in to grab some dinner after looking at a few local sites. There is parking in front of the restaurant which is nice, the place has got a menu with a good variety. My girlfriend and I shared the lasagna which was deliciously cheesy and saucy along with a diavola pizza. I also had the pate which was quite good! Over all a pleasant dining experience, and we wouldn’t mind going back!

Very tasty Italian food. Sorry I couldn't have a glass of red wine due to Scotland's no drinking rules as I had to drive there. My favourite was the goat's cheese starter though the chicken risotto was also delicious. Too full for a proper dessert but the affogatto was also delicious.

My Husband and I were there on Saturday the 11th of November for my Birthday, and the service and food were outstanding. Perfect place for a date night, it has the right ambiance.

The BEST restaurant in Aberdeen! ❤️ We was blown away by how authentic, welcoming and nice this hidden treasure is. The food was really good, we had the special soup, goats cheese pastry, lasagne and pasta dish. Everything was so well delivered including how they serve you the wine. An absolutely beautiful restaurant! One of the waiters even sang to the customers in Italian which was absolutely beautiful and he is so adorable!!

Just perfect service in a charming dining room. Delicious pizza and pasta and the tiramisu is 10/10. Fantastic for a family celebration.Will be top of my list for my next Italian craving.

Simply the best Italian food, fabulous service. Outstanding.

The restaurant was very nice inside with a pleasant atmosphere. The starters were excellent but the main course of veal was disappointing - tasteless despite a lovely sauce. Unfortunately we had to complain and ask for another dish; this rather tainted the dining experience. The staff were very good - mostly young women who were well trained and very polite. A mixed bag but overall recommended.

Wonderful gem of an Italian restaurant set in a absolutely beautiful location. The food was very authentic, each course was a delight, and the service was attentive without being over bearing. Thank you all so much for a great evening, and the Vin Santo is lovely :D

Yet another fabulous meal at Borsalino. Haven’t been for a long time but no reason why. Service from the young team is excellent, they have obviously had good training.

Last night me and my partner treated ourselves to a midweek date night and we are glad we did. We moved to the area almost a year ago and are very disappointed we did not try Borsalino sooner, it was fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful when asked any questions by myself or my partner during our visit. Highly recommend the lamp chops, they were cooked to perfection and the mint sauce was lovely. We were very happy with our experience and we will be back soon.

We celebrated my mother’s 70th birthday there last week and it was absolutely fabulous. Great service. Great atmosphere. Even had personalised cake delivered and an in-house singer. Absolutely recommend this place!!!

What a superb Italian restaurant - a great find as we were staying at Maryculter House Hotel nearby Four of us enjoyed a great meal in a friendly Italian with very good service. We shared a charcuterie platter and Frito Misto plus insulate capresi for starters with fresh bread snd done excellent bruschetta Then one of us had pizza Tarantino - very good, one lasagne - rich and comforting, a fusilli with huge prawns in a very delicious sauce and a chicken dish - all perfect A bottle of excellent and well chilled Sancerre No space for dessert sadly as they sounded gorgeous Would definitely recommend On site parking too.

Massive changes from 6 weeks ago and not sure what happened to food and cocktails were disappointing

This was from the take away menu very very poor show with the take away we had just The carbonara was very dry the garlic bread with cheese was rock solid and the brushetta was like it had been in a fight with someone I've had take aways from here many a time they was all good but tonight not good

Just so good! Went for our low key 13th anniversary dinner. Service was great, food was delicious and they topped it off with a “happy anniversary” plate. Someone picked up that it was our special celebration!

We were on holidays, trying to find something to eat. And Borsalino wasn't exactly a place you would expect in small town. We did got everything what we needed. A table ;) for a start. An amazing service + Incredible food. We did order simple dishes, but they were prepared really well. Great Italian food and people working there were really helpful and nice. The prices seemed quite high when we checked menu, but the taste of food and quality was definitely worth every penny.

Fantastic food and fantastic atmosphere!

It was a random idea on a Sunday afternoon to visit the restaurant for lunch. Phoned up to see if they could accommodate us in the next 10 mins. Without any problem, we got a very nice table in the conservatory. Staff was very nice and kind, full of positive vibes. The food was amazing, the portions were great. The atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful. Thanks for this positive experience, we were delighted by your service. We will be back.

An intimate place with amazing food. I had their specials of the day which was Crab meat with hand rolled fussili, and that was amazing! The service was superb and flawless. I was there for lunch but the place was really lovely I could imagine it would be really nice if you are planning to have a lovely dinner. Will definitely go back to try for dinner next time!

I find it discriminatory against disabled customers. I did phone but was told the building wasn't suitable. If you look at the front it looks possible to build easy access. Also installing disabled toilet is practical to carry out I have stayed in many places including old buildings in Rome. Obviously for some reason the owners don't care. I am sure there are others facing the same problems.

Lovely meal and time with family. Lovely service and atmosphere. Bruschetta was really good. Menu is limited with not many speciality dishes considering the high price. Much of the menu items are as expected for an Italian - but you would get the same, or even better quality food at another restaurant for a lower price. The specials on offer were £25 each, and what came on the plate is reflective of a meal worth about £15 max. Non Margharita Pizza’s were around £17 - although they were large, I would get a better pizza for a better price at Zizzi’s or even dominoes - it didn’t need to be that expensive. Overall a nice experience, but I think I will go somewhere cheaper for my family Christmas meal in future.

Thought we be a nice experience for the family on a birthday occasion. Had the calamari for starters was ok slightly over-cooked and chewy, Veal main course such a disappointment, meat not treated with love far to much flour on it prior being pan-fried tbh think was just thrower until a grill, meat came out grey and not very appealing on the eye… first experience of this place, sadly very overpriced, only upside was the decor and mums sticky toffee pudding which was spot on but I’m certain not cooked on the premises . would not rush back.

Borsalinos peterculter is fantastic 23 adults and few kids had my wife’s 50th birthday 28/10/22 great meals,drinks, and staff are 2nd to none, couldn’t fault it none of the party 🎉 had nothing but praise for everyone and everything, can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

A little Italian oasis just a short drive from the city centre. Authentic recipes and very friendly team made this a very pleasant place to enjoy pizza and beers before a show at the TECA.

Luca and his team always provide excellent service and quality culinary experience. As Franco his father did before him. Haven eaten there for almost thirty years in my view it remains the top Italian restaurant in the Northeast.

Aberdeenshire finest Italian restaurant was the claim.... so obviously pitching high you take note of everything, so this may be over critical, but rest assured we are definitely going back !!! Right, on arrival met with a big smile and a happy greeting by the young girl behind the bar and acknowledgement from the obvious man in charge. Shown to our table and after a couple of minutes one of the girls service arrived with a big smile and presented the menus and rattled the specials off , very impressively, first we asked for iced water, simple enough, water no ice so we thought we were in for a testy evening, we ordered pate which was great but bread lacked salt as did the oatcakes but the pate was really nice, my wife had the special goats cheese wrapped in spicy Italian sausage....this was spectacular and certainly raised eyebrows.... for mains my wife had seafood linguini cooked to perfection and certainly well seasoned and I had the Risotto Gambaroni, now, I have worked in an A la carte Italian of some note and cook Italian all the time and this was just perfect nice big prawns in a spicy tomato sauce not like a ketchup lol it was beautifully balanced and really impressed me for what that's worth.. desserts my wife had the sticky toffee and that was really rich , I had the tiramasu, not quite as potent as I would have liked the coffee to cream ratio was just not right far too much cream and not enough coffee soaked amaretti for me, it was still pleasant though, had a bottle of Anaise I think that's what it was, anyway it went perfect with our meals.service all night was good, 6 times the gentleman in charge walked past our table and 5 times I noticed him looking to see it was all progressing, no check back on starters ? Quite common but something we were sticklers about, check back on all courses, a couple of the girls had that touch of extra personality too. It was busier than expected with a large party but the service was very prompt and no delay in food service at all, all in all we were very impressed and def going back , a great spot and deserves its title and its no wonder the car parks always full lol ....well done
