A great wee quiz night on a Thursday

Was in a few Wednesday's ago for the bingo Ali was running the show, What an amazing member of staff. Ali you are a delight. Will definitely be back.

Wouldn't want to go anywhere else for a night out. Staff are so lovely and accommodating especially Christine and Linda.

Bar staff jack and kyle in the bar fantastic. Christine was a good laugh, Linda in the lounge was great.

Was in for a drink on Friday night and was served by Sam who provided excellent service all night. The drinks were flowing and nothing was a bother. Will definitely be back soon.

Karaoke is always great! Victoria is a great asset to the team and always a good laugh when she’s in. Great local pub all round.

Popped in whilst waiting on a mate and wasn't too busy. Great service from Christine who genuinely seemed happy at her work(which you rarely see). Will be back to try the food as well.

Went to a private function here. Good venue, great disco and really good (outside) catering. Pleasant, helpful staff. Recommend it.

Good local. Recently added some more "modern" beers including madri. Neck oil st mungos and pink IPA along side their normal line up. Bar staff are helpful with a mention to Kyle for always helping with questions

Fabulous pub, very up to date, disco lights amazing! Team are friendly, approachable and bring the banter.

Had my granddaughters 21st Birthday party 9th. June '23. The buffet was lovely, everyone commented on how tasty it was. Staff were helpful and friendly and DJ was great, not too loud so we could talk a bit first. All in we had a great wee night. Will be back. Well done to Norman and all his staff.

Local friendly pub next to my work staff are always nice and friendly and food is also good and great prices for alcohol had a few works nights out and always had a great time with a few sore heads the next day sign of a good night. Bingo a good laugh.

So after a quick Google this place came up said child friendly but we got asked to leave as apparently kids not allowed, it literally says all over Google child friendly child menu! Maybe the English accent had more to do with it the dirty looks we got seemed to suggest that!

Was in for a few on sunday and was served by a lad called adam, good service and good chat, first time here and will be back.

Was in on Saturday night for a few drinks and had great service from both Ewan and David. Both guys were a good laugh and helped to create a good atmosphere in the pub. Will be back soon!

Great wee boozers.. very friendly with good cold pints... tremendous service especially wee Megan who was outstanding best barmaid around!!

Have popped in here numerous times over the years after being out for dinner or for a “quick pint” in the afternoon and staying till late and have always been made welcome. Pubs like this are a dying breed and we should always support them. Always a friendly smile and service is quick. The Karaoke on the weekend is a good laugh as well. Drinks are very well priced also. Haven’t tried the food but will be sure to in the future. Support your local!

Not long moved into area and only been in a few times. Welcoming staff and very reasonable prices. It,s pretty run down looking both inside and out but can overlook that. We,ll be back.

Love this place had my wedding reception here and family celebrations over the years. I know things change with time but I've been going to the bingo on Wednesday afternoons now for the last month its still a great place has a great atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff would definitely recommend it xx

Visited with friends for food and drinks with plans to head on to the village. We ended up staying all night as the atmosphere was great and the staff were all lovely. Highly recommended always a fab night!!

Always a good night at The Charlie, staff are fantastic and prices are reasonable. Strongly recommend coming along for the karaoke on the weekends. Big shout out to all the bar staff, you all do a great job at making us feel welcome.
