Appena stato in un autentico ristorante italiano trapiantato a Londra. Cibo veramente squisito, dall'antipasto al dolce. Servizio ITALIANO e di cuore. Un locale che ti fa sentire a casa anche a migliaia di chilometri di distanza. Prezzi in linea con la media londinese, anche un poco più economici, in ogni caso ottima qualità/prezzo. Ci tornerò di sicuro alla mia prossima vacanza londinese.

We randomly found this place while we were wandering around Buckingham Palace. It wasn't totally random though. Google helped us to find it. They are friendly Italian people making good Italian pizza and other food.

Had a chicken moss pepper panini here and it was wonderful. Just a tight little place that is better than first appearance. Older man makes and serves food from behind the glass....recommend if near Buckingham Palace in London.

The vegetarian options are limited. Had pizza which had bade filled with oil. Pizza hut serves better pizza than what I had here. It was expensive and not worth the money..

Having had the proverbial Italian grandmother who emigrated to America, I am very picky about Italian food. My wife and I just love this place. Its not fancy, but the food is great. Their sauces are authentic and they understand both "al dente" and that pasta should be hot when you get it. We have been here many times on recent trips to London. Go!! You wont regret it.

Fuimos por recomendación de Tripadvisor y no nos equivocamos!Magnifica atención con una comida deliciosa. Pedimos carne con papas fritas para los niños que viene con ensalada, porción generosa, Spaghetti a la bolognese, Spaguetti con almejas, Cesar salad, risoto con frutos del mar y sopa Comodoro. Todo delicioso (cada uno probo todos los platos) y con pastas artesanales de producción local. Cuentan con buena cerveza italiana (no hay sin alcohol), agua St pellegrino, Gelato, postres italianos de primer nivel. El cafe culmino una comida perfecta acompañada de una atencion muy cariñosa pero algo lenta que seria mi única critica. Ah y no hay wi-fi pero sirve para desconectarse no?Le doy 5 estrellas!

Minutes walk from Buckingham palace. This is a nice family restaurant for lunch and a good value evening meal. I have popped in a few times and get a tasty pizza or a very filling baguette.

What a find this was, just steps outside of the Taj, St James hotel at buckingham gate road this small charming restaurant serves truly fresh, excellent authentic Italian. Everything we tried was delicious and exceptionally tasty - soup, salad, appetizer, mains, pasta at prices that won't break the bank. Service is very friendly , will be delighted to return again.

Bon Gusto is a small Italian restaurant near Buckingham Palace. The food is elegant and served with Italian verve. Our waitress was so much fun to be around and very helpful in recommending selections on the menu. My husband had lasagna, which he said was excellent. I had spinach and ricotta cheese stuffed ravioli in a tomato cream sauce with pine nuts. It was also very good. I recommend Bon Gusto to anyone wanting good Italian food.

We stumbled on to Bon Gusto while walking around the Westminister area and glad we did. I believe the chef is from Rome, everything was homemade and fresh. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the lasagna, the spaghetti carbonara. We ended up going back another time while we were in town.

This seems to be a family run restaurant. The food is very very good. We went back to this restaurant a second time as we enjoyed it so much. It is very casual and reasonably priced.

We stopped at this place, hungry after braving the crowds and standing for more than hour to watch the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. A pleasant find with friendly, courteous servers and good food at reasonable prices. We ordered the boscaiola pizza and the carbonara, so good there were no leftovers! Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. Free wifi too!

Unlike many establishments in London this cafe has a friendly atmosphere with pleasant staff and good food. We were staying at the nearby St. James Place hotel but we decided to have breakfast at Bon Gusto which is just across the road. The breakfasts ingredients were of high quality, the coffee superb, prices reasonable and the service excellent. Needless to say we had breakfast at Bon Gusto every morning during our stay.

Stayed at St. James Court which is just round the corner from Bon Gusto. Had a business dinner on Monday night. Very good food and price is very reasonable. Definitely value for money, and service was friendly, attentive and prompt. Decided to come back for breakfast the next morning. Again, good food. Highly recommended.

ate at this nice Italain restaurant most days when I was in London recently. the weather was very cold and I simply enjoyed having good hot pasta that were just excellently done. I liked the nice home like feel to the restaurant and the service was consistently good. another plus is that there is no service charge and you are not expected to tip. but the service was great and it just shows the extent to which the owners try and create a nice environment to enjoy what was a very heartening and warm meal on those dreary wet and cold days in london.

We stopped in for lunch after visiting Buckingham Palace as this restaurant is right around the corner from the palace. It was a quaint, authentic restaurant with very good, fresh food. We enjoyed their pizzas, ravioli and lasagna. The food was good and the service was pretty good as well. This restaurant was just across from my hotel. It is small and not particularly fancy, but the food was good, reasonably priced and hit the spot when eating alone after a day of meetings. They also sell take away food, which would be welcome if you live or work in the area.

A pochi passi lo troviamo , inizialmente mi sembrava un alimentari di lusso poi ci si accorge che è un ristorantino molto carino! Personale gentilissimo e italiano come il proprietario molto esuberante ,(forse un po ansioso) , il cibo per essere un italiana a Londra è molto buono vi consiglio gli gnocchi! Per quanto riguarda il prezzo è un po alto se si pensa che abbiamo mangiato un piatto di gnocchi e uno di farfalle, ma bisogna pensare che siete a Londra e per di più dietro l'angolo c'è la queen! I dined here on many occasions in the past. I'm a big fan of their Italian seafood salad which is one of the best I've had England. It comes close to similar dishes I've eaten in Italy.I dined here recently. Heard that it was bought by new a new owner. I noticed the menu and deco was different so I asked. They still serve good pizza and pasta but the salad dishes got a full revamped.Now that I know, guess I won't be making any detours to dine here. Good pizzas and pasta aren't so difficult to find in London, but good old Italian seafood salad is another story...

I have been visiting this restaurant for a while now. It is a great hit with my colleagues when we occasionally do team lunches in this lovely little restaurant (seems like a family run place). The sandwiches are amazing - fresh and well made. The service is excellent with a very friendly atmosphere.

My wife and I were staying locally and decided to visit Bon Gusto for an early dinner; so early in fact that we were the first diners although the restaurant gradually filled up through the evening.The food (Saltinbocca for me and halibut for my wife) was very good; my initial choice of wine was corked but the friendly waitress changed it without hesitation.The only slight hesitation I have about the restaurant is that as the evening progressed and the restaurant filled up the service slowed down considerably,so Ithink the management should consider employing an additional waiter/waitress.

We were recommended this place by our chap at the Taj, for brunch - super simple, but if you want true Italian food, come here. The service was smart and fast, its slightly hidden so not too hectic, and from the coffee to the spagetti bolognese, it really was great - my best ever pasta dish. And super reasonable too. We went there every day as we liked it so much. Having been to other so called classy places in London and been left cold, for simple, great food with a genuine Italian flavour, 100% recommended.

We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant last week after visiting Churchill's War Rooms. It was freezing outside, so we were happy to get inside a cozy restaurant. It was very bright and nicely decorated inside. The menu looked great; between the 5 of us, we orderered a Margherita pizza, Beef Lasagna, Penne Pasta, Veal Liver, and Linguini. Everything was delicious! The food did not take too long. We enjoyed some Chianti wine as well. For dessert, we got the Tiramisu and Chocolate Mousse. Both were exquisite! Overall, very impressed with the experience. It was the best Italian food we'd had since visiting Italy over the summer.

Everything here is delicious, the service is friendly and just wonderful, and despite all these wonderful things, we could always get a table. We miss this place now that we are home.

Durante il soggiorno a Londra dopo aver visitato Westminster Abbey stavamo andando verso Buckingham Palace e camminando sulla Petty France abbiamo incrociato questo locale.Il ristorante è gestito da Italiani e offre un'ottima scelta di piatti italiani per chi ha nostalgia di casa ma soprattutto della cucina italiana, noi abbiamo optato per un antipasto di terra tipico e della buon pasta (una matriciana e una al ragù), ma facevano anche le pizze e panini. L'ambiente è cordiale e il servizio è ottimo, il personale quasi tutto italiano è molto disponibile e cortese, i prezzi sono convenienti considerando la media dei locali in zona. Consigliato.

My wife and I went in here not expecting much, just an alternative to another night of pub food. It was just down the street from our hotel, the St. James Court Hotel on Buckingham Gate. What a wonderful surprise! The food is authentic Italian, the wine is superb, and the people working there, all Italian, are friendly. We ate there twice, pizza the first time and lasagna the second. The ingredients are fresh and homemade. Try the Minafra Rosso organic wine with your meal. The spinach soup is excellent, too.

The place is simple and has a traditional Italian menu with a selection of pastas, pizzas and a few beef and fish dishes. My pasta was good, not remarkable. Decent wine by the glass. For desert an honest fresh tiramisu.

Great itialian restaurant we called in for lunch before visiting Buckingham palace. What a great place looks small from the outside but plenty of room on the inside. Food was delicious and plenty of it a great family/friends meeting place and great wines and beers at a reasonable price. The service was outstanding.

We stopped there because it was convenient to our hotel. I had a Good Full English Breakfast, and my wife had a nice selection of pastries. The English surely do love their pastries. Small dinning room and staff, but a nice spot for casual dinning.

We looked around for a nice coffee shop while walking to south bank and stumbled across this little gem hidden away.coffee was 10/10 and the staff there were brilliant, I was immediately taken by their lush food on display and decided to take some pictures.We will visit again soon :)

A groups of us from work come here every Friday morning and always have a great time. One colleague swears it's the best coffee in London. Nice food, always accommodating and friendly staff.

Enjoyed the breakfast here. Smaller place with a great menu with something for everyone. Good coffee as well which can be hard to find in London. Good and quick service at a fair price. They do all meals but we only had breakfast there.

Often use Bon Gusto for informal lunch meetings. It's usually busy which makes for a great atmosphere in concert with efficient and friendly service. You typically can't go wrong with any of the pizza and pasta dishes, or a combination of two starters makes for a great lunch.Menu is fairly extensive and well priced, a pizza is around £10+ and the quality and flavour makes it worth it, certainly better than more mainstream Italian restaurants.Having recently returned from Italy I have learned to appreciate Bon Gusto even more. Looking forward to the next visit.

This is a little gem that can be easily overlooked. The exterior does not do justice to what is inside. A typical true Italian restaurant where the food lives up to expectations. If staying nearby and you want a great meal you MUST give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

This is my local go to, the coffee is rocket fuel & breakfasts divine..I stopped by today for lunch, I had the chicken Caesar salad, it was phenomenal! I'm happy to tell you the staff are attentive and well trained, I also had a birra moretti served cold, which was an absolute delight out in the sun! I highly recommend popping in for a visit!

We found this place by chance and really enjoyed the experience. Very tasty toasted sandwiches with a good range of fillings to choose from, all at reasonable prices. Not much space to sit outside and on the day we were there all inside tables were reserved. Would happily eat here again.

Came here twice while we were staying in a hotel nearby. Very good Italian food and wonderful service. After being out in the crazy throngs of people in summertime London it was great to come into such a welcoming atmosphere where the food was excellent (fresh pasta!) and we could just sit and enjoy our meals. I visit this restaurant at least once a week with work colleagues and over the last year the hospitality of all the ladies that work there has been nothing but exceptional and welcoming. Me and my partner had the pleasure last weekend of celebrating the morning after our wedding night having breakfast in there, rather than in St James' Hotel around the corner where we had been staying and when the girls found out we had got married they gave us a 'gratis' breakfast. I want to say you are the most hospitable people I have ever come across in London. The food is superb and we will always be loyal customers. Thank you.

We dived in here for breakfast last week, and we got such a warm welcome. The coffee is fantastic - walk straight on past all the endless Costas and Starbucks and Prets that are every 50 yards near here.. I had delicious eggs Florentine (poached eggs, Hollandaise, wilted spinach, granary bread, well seasoned with black pepper and a little nutmeg) and other selections chosen by others were excellent. Excellent London Italian cafe.

I had told my wife I wanted a traditional English breakfast for lunch so I was a bit dismayed when I saw that she had taken me to a small Italian Bistro. How wrong my first impression was though. We had a delicious Sunday brunch at Bongusto and I had a fabulous traditional English Breakfast. Everything was delicous and freshly made. The coffee was terrific. In addition, my family very much enjoyed the interesting juice combinations. We will definitely be coming back here.

The first impression you get when you enter this restaurant is like you're entering a house in Italy. We had breakfast(try the eggs benedict, sooo delish) and diner (classic carbonara pasta. I had a food orgasm. You must try the tiramisu with a cappucino) and the food and the service was equally excellent. The prices are reasonable. Special mention to Mariana, our waitress, for her little attentions during our diner. Merci Mariana :) The place is near a tube station and the neighborhood is really cute.

As a runner who likes to travel, I'm always looking for good Italian places in my destinations (got to have those carbohydrates), and I certainly found it here. Very pleased with my meal, as was my son, and found the prices and portions more than acceptable.

The proprietors of this establishment also run the hugely popular Cafe Grana at St James's station. The restaurant is to the same high standards as Cafe Grana and the food is superb. The owners and staff working in the establishment are welcoming and friendly, with nothing being too much trouble. A great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner - and a great location. I regularly visit this venue and it goes from strength to strength. Well worth a visit. Well situated too in the heart of London.

I stopped at Bongusto for breakfast on Saturday before going to watch Changing of the Guard; this was a great find!!The service was excellent and very polite, and the breakfast was really good and a good price too.Both myself and my friend had the 'New Yorker', which is pancakes with bacon and scrambled egg - it was really nice and set us both up for the day. i would also highly recommend the fresh orange juice - yum!!I would highly recommend Bongusto for breakfast and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Me and my friend went in the morning and we had 2 full English breakfast, just amazing! Sausages extremely taste, egg well done, good mushroom and fantastic bacon, but the service was so so, our waitress did not smile and she was busy with the other members of the staff. We came back for dinner and everything was perfect. Friendly and attentive waitresses served simple but amazing Italian food and wine (ask to the waitress for help).
