Food is tastless not good quality

Ordered from here last night. Today I am very ill with food poisoning. Stay away from here.

Superb food authentic taste and they do customise the food according to the need. Will definitely order from them next time.

Ordered takeaway this evening for the family. Food was delivered hot and super tasty. Everyone enjoyed, will be ordering again.

Avoid this dump!! Seriously. Delivery was late, food was cold. Starters and meals missing. Food looked rough and got binned. We did call them to vent our frustration as we did just hand over £50 plus tip. We were asked if the manager could call us back, we just hung up. Absolutely disgusted with this service. We will never order from these again.

Ordered a takeaway today, absolutely brilliant, best king prawn Jalfrezi I’ve had so far!!

Used this takeaway many times. Order came, 4 items missing, called and was just cut off numerous times. Eventually got through, they said they’d call back and never, called again was spoken to very rudely. Very disappointed and ruined a nice Friday night family takeaway. Will never use again.

Disgusting. Arrived 30 min late, stale poppadums, incorrect order. Bhajis missing. Tikka was tasteless. I rang to complain they said they would send a replacement within 20 mins. I called them again and they called me a liar. Avoid!!.

Delivery time stated 45-60 minutes. Ordered at 6pm, marked as on its way at 7:25 but order delivered 7:55 despite it being a 5 minute drive. Half the order was completely cold and when requesting a partial refund through the app (at this point it hasn’t even been delivered and way past the delivery time) the restaurant rejected it. Ordered two “mild” curries but they were just not spicy, they were bland and didn’t taste of anything. Onion bhajis were hard and cold and so was the naan bread (this was probably the 20 minute delivery detour they took?) overall it was REALLY disappointing after waiting so long. If you’re overwhelmed or can’t take orders then don’t accept them. Wont be ordering again

Won't ever order from here again. Absolutely DONE NOW. Korma has changed its TASTELESS now like they trying to save money on the ingredients its not even sweet. Samosas SOGGY cus bag full of chopped onions???? Raw UNCOOKED potato in samosa. Truly awful food.Chips SOGGY like mush. like boiled chips.Plate full of water. NO SALAD YET AGAIN. DRY meat. WATERY curry. Has it changed management? This place is truly awful my god . Absolutely trash it went in the trash.worst indian ever had. Would give minus 100 stars if I could.

Just had a delivery from these omg no flavour at all very bland there was a spice but No flavour the chicken wasn’t much either but that was eatable the chips was terrible to mushy all I ate was the chicken from the curry the meal reminds me of hospital food very cheap and bland oh well ya live and learn got to try new places but wouldn’t go here ever again best part was the can of Dr Pepper 😂 made me spend £30 for delivery aswell fuming isn’t the word

I happened to post a one star review for the restaurant in just eats app. Well that was done by mistake. As I have informed the customer executive of just eats, I hope to get I removed. Bombay spices have pretty good and fast service.

Very good. Pleasant staff, lovely food. Only two areas for improvement - time estimates are always at least 10 minutes too optimistic; and more often than not too much is packed into one bag, which often causes a leak from a container. But the cooking is first class and I would recommend it.

We have used Bombay Spice many times. This is the first time we have had a bad experience. The food tasted over cooked and very dry.

What an amazing meal me and my family have just experienced, this is the second time in a month we have had a meal and this one was exceptional, thankyou from a very satisfied customer.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Was the most awful curry place I’ve ever ordered from. Keema naan had NO meat in at all and the same can be said for the chicken pakora, just batter. Poppadoms tasted weird, allllllll the food was way too greasy. Literally paying for no meat, never seen anything like it. Keema naans are plain with red dye on. Also arrived late. It’s cheap for a reason

Never visited the restaurant but ordered first time this evening during lockdown. Was a bit worried trying food from a different place. I left the note how I wanted our curries. The guy rang me to say depending on my taste what I have ordered wouldn’t be of my taste and helped me decide. Food arrived on time. Taste was nice. Definitely efforts were made to make it to our likings. Extra efforts were made with complimentary poppadoms and samosas which I never even ordered. Portions are good. Definitely will order again.

Awful curry house. Food was incredibly tastless, curry could be considered a water curry. Items missing from order after spending £50 or more. When called and asked if the items could be delivered the employee started lying about how he could see the items being placed in the bag and asking me to come and watch the cameras? This is one way to treat your customers after spending a significant amount. Dont go to this appauling place, cant imagine what the hygiene must be like if they cant even manage basic courtesy.

Always hot, delicious food. Had so many curries from here and each one has been really good. The specials are all super nice. But my absolute favourite is the Special Minty Haryali Chicken Masala.

Wouldn't normally do this but this was absolutey disgusting.. ordered from here for a long time, although the last 4 or 5 times have been awful!!. Most recently ordered a Korma and a Special Butter Chicken.. both came the EXACT same and both as disgusting with a strange BBQ taste.. WTF... the place must have changed ownership... absolutely shocking now!!!!! Choose somewhere else!! Contacted the restaurant, was told they would check the CCTV (?) and someone would look into it and contact me back as soon as possible. Place closed now and no contact.. customer service is obviously as good as the food!!! Awful!!!

The quality and quantity of food from this establishment is TOP CLASS! I have ordered from all its competitors Tiffin, Huyton Tandoori etc but have decided that all my future orders will go to Bombay! Succulent beautifully cooked plentiful food and real Vanir for money there’s nowhere else you should be going for your take away! Consistently delivered inside the states timescales usually by 15 minutes food piping hot with some freebies thrown in! Great service thank you James and team! 👍

Had onion bhajis that tasted like they were cooked in old oil - disgusting. Butter chicken and chicken korma sauces tasted like they came out of a bag and the chicken was overcooked. Low quality Indian. Do not recommend.

been eating from this place a lot lately as I really like it but last nights wasn’t nice at all I think they have a new chef. my chicken madras was so different and my wife’s lamb rogan josh was really poor didn’t taste or look like lamb it was little tiny pieces of red meat instead of the big soft succulent pieces we usually get... the mulligatawny soup is always different and last night was served on a bed of rice which wasn’t nice at all, Iv had it from here before and it’s been amazing without the rice hence why I’m saying it’s a different chef, not the same at all. when you collect from shop it seems to be better.

This food took ages, no apology the curry stained everything it around it so who knows what it was doing to my insides! Very hard to get a quality curry in Liverpool, the lamb chop was nice.

not enough chicken, but with the chicken we had, it was dry. the sauce was lovely, and the rice was good. the bread was burnt, i won’t be ordering again.

chicken korma itself was nice, ordered peshwari naan (paid more 4 it) got a normal naan........... ordered chicken pakora it was meant to be covered in batter when it tasted like it was just a wrap rather than batter. it was 25 mins early which is great, if you don't mind not getting what you ordered.

Very very greasy, the bags were swimming with leaking grease and the food was nearly cold.

Will definitely be calling this restaurant again.

First time tried curry in Liverpool have to be honest this curry was an great flavour too the recipe would recommend this takeaway to anyone in Liverpool would give them 5 star definitely will be ordering again.

Honestly the nicest Indian I've had in ages!!! It was piping hot, full of flavour & the portions huge, I don't even normally leave reviews but it was just so nice !! Fyi I got the garlic & chilli chicken, mushroom pilau & a chicken wrap which comes with chips.. currently in a food coma .. 110% would order from here again !

Absolutely horrendous. Do not order from here!! Took 1 hour and 40 minutes to arrive. The food was all cold, had a thick layer of grease on everything, the popadoms were soggy and not cooked. we called the restaurant, and spoke to the rudest man ever, to which he greeted us with 'yes mate'. We asked for a refund and he refused as he has been open for 12 years and apparently never had a complaint. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Use to use this place all the time, but the last few times now the food has been terrible, burnt popperdoms, onion bhajis dripping in grease & then getting orders wrong too, as an one off issue I wouldn't of minded. But now it's all the time they keep getting something wrong. Don't waste your money people.

We are so disappointed. The food we received tonight falls far under the usual standard, it tasted like a cross between sweat collected from a cheap brothel and a brick wall.
