Love this restaurant, and the recent refurbishment is amazing! It’s absolutely gorgeous inside, service is second to none, food is delicious, and they always add extra special touches. My favourite restaurant by far 🥰

Terribly regret visiting. Fell for the reviews! Could be just us but service was terrible. We asked for recommendations for vegetarians…to which the waiter said…they don’t recommend as everything is good and he didn’t want to take the blame if the recommendation wasn’t good! Masala papad was raw 40%. to which the waiter responded all masala papads are the same and he can just take it away…didn’t even offer a replacement! Veg biriyani was yuck! The way he served made it look worse. The bowl swirled as he threw it on the table literally! We had to ask him twice for water and he bought only 2 glasses when we were 3! I had to go to the billing desk to get another glass. Right from the time we booked the table, the experience was no way near positive. I should’ve read the cues but gave the benefit of non native speakers (like me)….what a blunder! The very focus of the waiter was to get the table back…will you leave the table by 8? Understood it is a busy Friday. Full of customers in tightly arranged tables like a local busy pub but instantly realised as soon as we saw the menu, that this place isn’t suitable for vegetarians! Very few options. My fault, I should’ve checked the menu in depth. As soon as we finished mains, no offer for desserts made…well they wanted us to leave. New benchmark for our worst restaurant experience in the UK ever.

Family meal, staff very attentive, trying to entertain our 8 yr old Grandson. Good food and improved ambience due to the new tree. Will be returning.

Had high hopes for this take away as it was recommended to me. Kind prawns were mushy, paratha a bit tasteless and the lamb was on the tougher side in the lamb biryani. Wouldn’t order again I’m afraid.

What a wonderful night out! The food was varied and delicious, the whole place (including the toilets) was spick and span and the staff were beyond fabulous. They managed that mix of professionalism, friendliness and attentiveness. We will definitely be going back.

We ate at the Bombay Palace last night for the first time ever, prior to seeing a show at the Wycombe Swan. We live locally but have never tried this one before. I can safely say it was the best Indian meal we have had in a very long time. Very attentive service and cosy atmosphere. Only suggestion is it would be nice to have the option to add service charge ourselves rather than it be on the bill as mandatory!

Highly recommend Bombay Palace Lived in the area for over 4 years and it has become our go to Indian restaurant. The staff are very welcoming, great service and we have always enjoyed great food. 5 stars from us

I have been going to Bombay Palace for years and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience. The staff are amazing, so polite, look very smart , so friendly. Food is outstanding, very fresh, full of flavour, great presentation. They have just refurbished the whole place and it looks incredible. This is definitely the place to go if you want a fine dining experience, with amazing food, amazing service and an amazing atmosphere.

Had a great time and experience, the food was lovely and would definitely visit again. Would have preferred my curry hotter as I chose a madras curry. But the food tasted great! It was busy also with music in background. The owner or manger of the restaurant gave me and my friend a shot of choice on the house which was very kind and the we were asked how our food was before hand. Disappointed they didn’t have a disabled toilet one of my friends is in a wheelchair. The ladies toilets were small and a light wasn’t working. Drinks pricey but most restaurants drinks are. But definitely would go again. Thank you Bombay Palace

The best curry house in High Wycombe thanks for a great experience and tasty food !

I can't believe we’ve been living in High Wycombe for 6 years and had never tried Bombay Palace. Due to the location in the centre of town we decided to go for my hubbys birthday meal so we caught a cab. I can honestly say ‘wow’ this was a very fine example of what a restaurant and service should be! Lovely atmosphere, decor, food but most of all the service from staff especially ‘Paulo’ Staff interact with you, crack a few jokes and provide excellent service. Where we’ve been for 6 years I don’t know, what I do know is Bombay Palace is one of the best restaurants in Wycombe, we’ll certainly be returning!

Great food, great service, went it for a works party in December, maybe 60 of us (and we had not pre ordered main courses), they served us all really quickly, breads were great, food excellent, will definitely e going back

We ordered food as a delivery for the first time . It was late, cold, lacking flavour and everything tasted the same with a horrible tomato puree theme. What a waste of hard earned money . I will never order from here again

Food is reasonable. Friendly staff but the owner keeps the service charge and the staff don't receive it. It's added to the bill without asking. I won't be frequenting here again.

Always very fresh and warm when we get it delivered, never had it in so not sure how it is. But the takeaway is amazing and not at silly prices either!

One of my favorite restaurants, the staff are very welcoming and the food is very good. Wine can be a bit hit and miss but we always get a complimentary drink after our meal which is why we keep coming back

I have taken many people to Bombay palace over the years and have always had an enjoyable experience.

Booked a table for 7 people for my partners birthday and we had an absolutely amazing meal here! The staff are so welcoming and helpful and the food is top notch! Plenty of drinks to choose from and an extensive list of curries and food options. Highly recommend the mixed kebab starter and the tikka masala, will definitely be back 😊

Food was very authentic and Dulon was very helpful in recommending a great range of their most representative dishes. Very filling and satisfactory.

Bombay Palace has been our go-to curry house since 2015, going more often than we perhaps should. Paul and the team do an incredible job: always friendly, while upholding utmost professionalism at all times. They look after you well! The food is fantastic. Whether you're a regular tikka masala or you prefer a chef's recommendation, there are a plethora of different curries to choose from - most of which, I hasten to add, I have had the pleasure of tucking in to. My personal favourite is the lamb chennai, but don't let me sway you! I will continue to come back to Bombay Palace, over any other local curry house, because we have always had great quality, both in food and service, from them for the 8+ years we've been turning up. Keep up the fantastic work!

Excellent food and staff I would highly recommend

Food was very nice and the staff were friendly. We added roughly 12% as a tip but not until after we had left did we realise they had already put on a surcharge which was why the final bill was pretty extortionate. I maybe should of questioned it at the time but would of expected the staff to let us know when we suggested adding the tip.

Lovely curry restaurant! Lots of options and very flexible in terms of spice if you want it hotter/ more mild. Dulon was fantastic as always.

Don't think about it, just go! No need to even read a menu, I just asked the chef what lamb dish he recommended, and spice level and what I got was 10 out of 10. I did the same previously but takeaway instead of dining in and was just as impressed. My wife enjoyed her butter chicken, although it was more like a korma than a butter chicken, as is often the case in a Bangladeshi kitchen where they add coconut milk. That aside, it was still delicious and we took our leftovers home and cleaned our plates the next day! Will be returning for sure!

Best indian restaurant in Highwycombe. Been 3 times already and food, service has been brillant each time. Great for vegans and gluten intolerance. Highly recommended

Visited with a very large group of colleagues from work and despite there being over 50 of us, were served promptly with a wonderful array of starters and main courses. Great food, great service and will be returning for future meals because of this.

What a great find this was! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, with some great recommendations. The food was excellent, and without doubt the best Indian food I have eaten. Many thanks to Paul, who was so welcoming and engaging with my son and I, which made the visit even better.

With out doubt the worse indian meal iv ever had sorry but poor would be a compliment, they did change the meal but my honest opinion it was the same meal re jigged yes it was left... did not like they put service charge onto a £220 bill very greedy

This is the best curry house in Bucks. From the moment you arrive, the friendly service and the professional attitude are incredible. Mix that with the fresh, hot, tasty food which you can edit if you are vegan/gluten free - it truly is a gem in High Wycombe. Friday night is incredibly busy (you must book in advance!) and they deliberately over staff to make sure the customer gets the best service. I’ve been here at least 50 times and will continue to do so - a delicious, reasonably priced and friendly curry house. If you have a request, just ask, they will do anything they can to help. Every single waiting staff is incredible - highlights for me are Khaled and Paul. Go for a meal - you won’t regret it!

Had a lovely Indian dinner at the Bombay Palace, the staff were very friendly as always. The food tasty and portion sizes were just right. We dined on a Friday evening, and the restaurant was extremely busy with quite a few 5 tables with large groups (8+), this meant that the volume of talking soon became a bit distracting and meant our table of four were soon having to almost shout to each other. Whilst this is not a negative on the restaurant, it is a word of caution, that if you want a nice sociable meal with friends and family, Friday nights are not the night to do it. Overall the meal was up to the usual standard and no hesitation recommending this restaurant for a meal.

Delivered very late. Each time we called they said the driver (from the restaurant) was on his way and to give it a few more minutes. Food was decent. But, I’d never order delivery from them again.

We very much enjoyed a lovely curry at the Bombay Palace. We’ve been struggling to find a really good curry house in the area for a while. All with mixed reviews. After reading so many positive reviews, we decided to give the palace a go and it didn’t disappoint. The food is excellent, but the service was fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were seated quickly and most importantly, our drink and popadom order was taken almost immediately (when we were ready). Very friendly staff. The manager/owner is obviously doing a superb job of running the restaurant. The palace will now be our regular Indian restaurant.

First class at each visit! Always greeted with a warm welcome and given a friendly service by staff. This makes you want to keep coming back, knowing that you feel welcome. Food is always enjoyable to eat too and the staff make sure to keep you well hydrated.
