Bombay and Co in Cheltenham

One of our favourite restaurants in Cheltenham. The street food starters are great. You never know quite what they'll be like, but they're always delicious, different and a surprise. Nice to have some different curries and flavours than the usual British curries. It seems more authentic (not having been to India!)

Had a lovely meal, the menu is quite overwhelming but the staff were excellent in recommending dishes to try. We then could order more as we liked. Everything we ate was so tasty, unique flavours and so reasonably priced.

A real authentic gem. Wonderful friendly and arm service that was very fast. Generous portions and delicious. Highly recommended

I cannot praise this place enough. Our favourite restaurant in Cheltenham by a stretch and should be in the TOP 5. Their new venue is even better….the decor is just as authentic with great wall art and links to all things India. As for the food….everything is a taste sensation. Authentic street food, at its very best with a number of dishes you’d not find in a typical Indian restaurant….all the better for it. The service is always spot on and they are always there to advise on new or different dishes, you’ve not tried before. If you’ve never been give it a try and if you’ve been before, go again !!!

I’m gutted to write this! We have been to Bombay and co a number of times at their old location and always had an incredible meal. T It’s always been authentic delicious and served to us with excellent customer service. Tonight we returned at the new location and I was so looking forward to their wonderful Lamb Biryani. Unfortunately, it was less that impressive. Fatty, dry and not all like the last time I had it. Last time, it felt individually cooked- authentic, in layers of rice onion and meat. Tonight however, it was like someone had mixed in dry meat into a spicy pilau rice. I’m so disappointed. It feels as though they have gotten greedy and cut corners. I will give it another go because I’m praying I’m wrong- but I’m not overly hopeful!

Read some of the previous reviews and had a couple of doubts about visiting, but all we found was good. What can I say about this place, one of the finest curries I've had in a long time. We had a selection of starters which the staff brought for us to try and then two mains, which was more than enough for three of us. The staff were friendly and attentive too. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

Went for a get together. Food was great, vada pav lamb seekh and chicken starter was nice .. it’s melting in the mouth and the mint chutney and the chilli sauce was nicely balance. Worth visit ..

We were at Cheltenham for the races and ate at this fabulous restaurant on two occasions out of the four nights we stayed. The staff are very well organised and everything seems to run smoothly. Plenty of seating space and very varied menu, not your normal Indian menu here but authentic dishes which are cooked with great passion. Their typical Indian chicken curry is one of the tastiest dishes we have had . All the dishes we had consisted of good proper chunks of meat and the lamb melted in your mouth. Butter naan had a lovely light texture . One of the owners had time for a good long chat and told us about how their business had progressed and the flavours that they recreate from Mumbai. A restaurant not to be missed if you are ever in Cheltenham.

6 of us went to Bombay and Co this evening. The food was amazing. Some of us chose to have mains and some chose a selection of smaller dishes. All of it was delicious! We didn’t find anything we didn’t like. We will definitely be back soon.

Great place for a date night, food was amazing went on a busy Saturday night and although a bit of a wait for food (to be expected at that time) the atmosphere kept us entertained and happy. Ordered a number of starters to make a meal which gave us great variety. Will be visiting again for sure
