Visit this place twice a year when in Hellaby for a weekend. Gr8 food service, atmospher

Been here tonight and the food was outstanding, so was the service, and friendliness of all the staff. Will definitely be eating here again.

Only tried this place the other day and I’ve been twice in the space of a week. Highly recommend. The food is amazing!

Dined here on the way to Norfolk from Edinburgh. Thoroughly enjoyable experience tonight. Service was discreet but efficient. Food well presented tasty and piping hot and a great value. Manager Sami was very obliging and hospitable. Should we ever return to Rotherham we will be back 🍴🍷

Absolutely fantastic meal we highly recommend try the Arabian lamb you won't be disappointed. I shall definitely be coming back in the very near future .

Had a takeaway. Delievery good. Food was ok, but seemed a little processed and illuminous sauces!

Too noisy it's probably OK for younger groups out for a heavy night or eating after a heavy day not so good for those wanting a quiet enjoyable meal.

Edible but not enjoyable, I ordered butter chicken but I’m pretty sure it was a can of Heinz tomato soup with the smallest amount of seasoning on it. My partner ordered a Dhansak that was extremely sour and almost inedible when this dish is usually sweet and spicy. The onion bhaji’s weren’t bad but they were spicy which was not advised. Finally the garlic naan looked shop bought snd had the smallest amount of garlic oil ontop. Overall very disappointed in the food.

Just back from a Birthday meal with my wife and family a group of 4. We arrived in for our 7pm table and had starters at 8pm so quite a delay by a large group who left after 45 mins. Main was delivered within 15 mins which was fine. Food was good but the staff had booked in a minibus of people who were very drunk and very loud. No attempt was made by the management to quieten them down and the booth behind us left within 10 mins and went next door. We paid , left early & complained to the management who seemed oblivious to the problem. A very disappointing evening and I can’t say we will be back . Reception was full of couples looking for tables and waiting . Why oh why would you book in a large group that are hard to control when you can fill the place with couples. It truly was an appalling example of how to run a restaurant and given the circumstances and the fact we noted our early exit and bad experience we were charged full price which I think tells you everything you need to know about how Bollywood value their customers. You should be ashamed of your performance and lack of respect for the fellow diners.

Best Indian restaurant in Rotherham. No competition! Food is just delicious, don't scrimp on pieces of meat and great choice available. The staff are always so well presented, so friendly and great with the kids.

Service was great and the food was fantastic as always. Gone as a large group of friends on more than one occasion and was looked after brilliantly.

We were struggling to find somewhere on a Saturday evening for date night and were turned away everywhere else. The staff went out of there way to fit us in. We had an absolutely fantastic meal, the staff were lovely, and it was a perfect evening. They couldn't have done any more for us. Definitely recommend, we will be back.

Having read some of the take away reviews I thought I'd throw in my two penneth. The food arrived 20 minutes earlier than stated, it was hot and everything including pickle tray, poppadoms, garlic nan and butter chicken curry were fantastic. I thought it strange there were negative reviews because eating in the restaurant is always fabulous. So there you go an excellent takeaway service which I would highly recommend.

I went for a family special occasion meal and I had never been pleasantly surprised,nice decor and all staff were very polite. I think what makes it was the food it was really nice ,I opted for special biryani at main and only thing I would say to make even better is forget the salad and put more sauce , it's not a dessert place ha ha

Highly recommend, fantastic food, We had a table booked for 5pm. But got there early, I was stood waiting with my twin girls at 4.45 and let us in early as it was cold. Amazing service👏

Went for an evening meal with 20 colleagues. We all ordered in advance from the online menu. Mine was the only starter not to arrive. When I asked where it was, I was told that they hadn't bothered to cook it because it was a 'main meal' (even though it was on their menu as a starter, something which the waiter flatly denied even though I had the menu open on my phone). There was no apology and no explanation. I then had to choose a different starter, which didn't arrive until all my companions had finished theirs. When the main meals arrived, everyone's order was correct and timely except mine - my naan had been forgotten about and had to be cooked from scratch, only arriving when the meal was almost finished. I've no complaints about the standard of the food, which was tasty and well cooked. It's just a shame that the service wasn't up to scratch on this occasion.

Stopping in Rotherham for work and wanted to venture away from the Premier Inn Beefeater same old same old! I am fortunate to have eaten in some fabulous places and this place is up there with the best! Clean restaurant with a comfy vibe. Food was AMAZING! Great flavours, heat-hot dishes and taste explosion! Worth visiting!

Been here a few times and never been disappointed. Went recently and they were really short staffed, but this didn't affect their service or quality of food. Both were excellent. Sammy is very attentive, as are the rest of the team. Reasonable prices for a lovely meal.

This place is highly recommended by my in-laws so they invited us over to come for a meal and sleepover knowing we don't really go out for Indian. We have shop bought usually at home. Waiters were friendly and attentive. Placed our orders and didn't have too long to wait, I didn't have a starter but other 3 did which all said was delicious. Our curries came soon after and was tasty. My husband's jalfraizi looked a bit oily on top but could maybe be like that as only had shop ones. We all had chicken in curries and it was lovely and white. Never had rice as small as that before, looked as if it wanted slightly longer cooking but that is my opinion. All in all the meal was fine and thoraly enjoyed by the other 3 and not really disliked by me, in nice surroundings and pleasant staff, it got really busy as it got later, (9pm) so that says a lot about a place

Ordered a chicken korma with popadoms garlic nann. The korma was awful it was full of hard bits and the popadoms were stale! I called the restaurant to let them know the korma was off and inedible it was thrown in the bin! I was very respectful in letting them know something was off and l didn't receive any response from the restaurant. Will never order or eat there again.

Maybe it was a bad night, or take aways are not as nice as eating in. But first time ordering a takeaway and it was not nice at all :( the chicken was over cooked and tough. The chicken tikka massala was chicken in a yellow runny sauce with green bits in :/ … the butter chicken was not like any butter chicken ive tried before and the bollywood special was full of flavour but very tough and over cooked. Popadoms were soft. Would not order again all though id like to eat in and see if the food eating in is any different as theres alot of good reveiws online.

The following reviews are back to front, the latest is the first... Had to update to 5 stars! Bollywood now deliver! Ordered Tikka masala, chilli garlic 2 nanns and biriyani. The biriyani blew every other biriyani iv had out of the water, it was incredible, portions were really good. Definitely 5 stars again for me I have been back to this restaurant a couple of times lately and have marked it down to 4 stars from 5. The food is still fabulous but the portions are getting very small, 4 pieces of chicken in my last meal and left still hungry Soooo good, great service and amazing food!!!

This review is based on a single visit. First impressions were fantastic, lovely decor, poilte and well dressed server. Greeted immediately on entering and made to feel welcome. The door is slightly broken - it doesn't close properly. Straight away noticing there is no wheelchair access to the upstairs, which is the dining area. Dining area is mostly booths with some chairs, all themed and very well presented. Atmosphere enhanced by the music and smell of incense and spices. After being seated the booth seats are slightly to high for someone as short as me, wasn't entirely comfortable but didn't really pull away from the good experience so far. Food and drink options are in the plenty. Being vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised to see a Bhindi Karahi as an option (See pictured, alongside pilau rice and peshawari naan.) Food was a little disappointing, it was rather salty. However I have to say I'm impressed at the reaction to my comments. They were really receptive to feedback and it all seemed well received. The server was so friendly and honestly one of the best kind of people for the role - had good conversations and made the evening well received despite the issues. I'd still recommend this place, and I intend to visit again. Hoping to enjoy the food a little more next time.
