Always great food, a special treat! We often come here for birthday celebrations. The owners are always so friendly and great we can get it delivered to us.

We have had a takeaway from Bokays twice in the past month! We have thoroughly enjoyed both times. It tastes very fresh and everything is so full of flavour! As vegetarians, the choice is great! We will certainly be regulars to Bokays!

So, I ordered a meal from here about a month ago. When I got home I realised that the order I received was someone else’s. I called and was told that I would be credited and an apology was given. Fair enough. Never received the credit but just put it down to one of those things, mistakes happen, I get it. Didn’t chase it as I enjoyed what I had. I called tonight to order a delivery and was told that I owe money so including my new meal I have to pay more money. I explained the situation but was told that their records show I owe money and they wouldn’t be delivering to me. I use to use these guys all the time even back in the day when they had a place in Windsor. I can only see one loser in this and it’s not me

Very simple. You never get a bad one. I t may not be the best Chinese in the world but its never ever the worst.

I have been using this take-away for many years and the food is excellent and the best Chinese takeaway around by far. I have never found a problem with too much salt but I would suggest you ask them to adjust it - I ask for no garlic on some dishes and they happily oblige.

They advertise more healthy food, and you can certainly taste it Always fresh and extremely tasty, and the quality is always excellent

My partner and I love Bokays and we have been ordering from them for the past 2 years! The food is high quality, delicious and I love that it is cooked healthily. My personal favourite dish is the lemon chicken as it reminds me of my favourite eateries in Hong Kong. Excellent and cant recommend enough. - Kim

My wife an I have been getting our Chinese takeaways from here for years and have never ever had any issues with the food and the owner is such a lovely lady. Even when we moved to Staines we would still go to Bokays Addlestone to get our takeaway and my brother travels from Shepperton for the same reason....this simply is the best Chinese takeaway around bar none.

This takeaway is the best in KT15 area Food is always hot and very few additives.The staff are very friendly in particular Blossom

We have visited a few times and really like the fact that they use no MSG in their food so it tastes like no other Chinese food we have had before. The prawn toast is delicious and I would definitely recommend it, the same as the satay chicken and beef in black bean sauce. It does seem to be a little on the pricey side and they do close for several weeks over the summer but it is worth paying a visit.

Great fresh food not oily or greasy like some Chinese takeaways, will now be my first choice Ps only down side is they are closed on Tuesdays

We've moved around the local area a lot in the past 20 years and in our opinion, Bokays is the best Chinese takeaway for miles around. The food is consistently excellent. We've had probably 20+ orders and have tried as many dishes, and honestly enjoyed every one - I won't recommend any one dish in particular, as i'd encourage you try as many as possible. The food is always hot, fresh, flavoursome and not at all greasy. Aside from the food, Blossom and the team are fantastic. Always enthusiastic and friendly, worth going alone for the chat!

I have used Bokays many times and have yet to be disappointed with the food, the friendly service and quick delivery. I have also tried others but always seem to regret not ordering from Bokays. Food reviews are very subjective so the only thing to do is try Bokays and see for yourself

Ordered recently food was ok, not bad but not amazing. Took quite a while to turn up but was all hot. Food done a little different and do not offer dessert

Great takeaway. Food always fresh and with very few additives. Duck in Plum sauce is always crispy with very little fat. Chicken and beef dishes have plenty ofvmeat and it's good quality. We've never been disappointed. Delivery has always been within the promised time and very quick. We go nowhere else unless Blossom is on her bi-annual holiday in Hong Kong!

Tried this for the first time after seeing a friend recommend it on Facebook, and wow !!!! Absolutely unreal ! Food was amazing 100%more healthy and fresh compared to other takeaways certainly found our new Chinese take away thanks very much ladies amazing service and outstanding food!

Have visited before many times before I found a better Chinese. Unfortunately my preferred Chinese was shut due to holiday so decided to try Bokays again. Food was okay. Nothing offending. But to be honest, I don’t want a takeaway that is ‘healthy’ or ‘contains no MSG’ I want loads of flavour and unfortunately Bokays doesn’t quite deliver.

Food is tasty plus the place is very clean and tidy as compare to other Chinese takeaways. Lady who takes order is very friendly plus her food suggestions are really good. Portion of the food is quite big, which is value for money. Sometime Bokays food is the reason to catch up with friends, who lives there locally.

Have been here a few times now and has never disappointed! Food fab, portions good and lady here is so lovely, very smiley and chatty! Thank you, will be back!

We’ve just started using Bokays as our go to Chinese! It’s fabulous. Affordable, big portions and tastes great. It doesn’t taste as heavy and sickly as some Chinese places do. Highly recommend!!

Lovely little Chinese shop, food is lovely !! Ordered from here every weekend but unfortunately won’t deliver now we have moved a mile away from our previous address so have had to change to another Chinese shop

We've used Bokays a couple of times now and the food is fantastic, staff cheery and delivered when they said it would be. We've lived here for over ten years now and Bokays is the best around.

Recommended to this Chinese take away by a friend who told me they used more natural products in their sauces etc. Usually with this type of food, the sauces are very bright in colour and thick / gloopy - not sure what is used to give it this consistency / colour. Had our first take away from Bokays last night and it was delicious. Whilst it may not have the same bright colour etc. as the competition - I would say it tasted a lot better. Would definitely recommend to others.

I live in Virginia Water and the selection for Chinese takeaways is appalling so I called Bokays based on Trip Advisor reviews. It didn't disappoint. The food is amazing and worth the 10 minute drive to Addlestone. The lady who greeted us was adorable and friendly and she is the reason I will always get my Chinese takeout from here in the future. Some will say it is pricey but I think anything cheaper you'd be forefitting on quality. I ordered, 1/4 duck and pancakes, sweet and sour prawn balls (Which were huge!), Singapore noodles, crispy shredded chilli beef, spicy chicken in black bean, curry sauce, egg fried rice and complimentary prawn crackers. All came to £41.50. Easily will feed 4 people. I was happy with the price because it tasted great.

Our usual favourite Chinese takeaway was closed so looked across the internet and came across this gem! Fabulous reviews so had to try it and now won't look back, everything tastes fresh and a lot healthier than all other Chinese takeaways. Service was great too, we will definitely be back, thank you!

It was hard to find a Chinese Takeaway open locally on a Monday so I rummaged through the leaflets that get shoved through the door - delighted to have come across Bokays!!!! It was slightly more expensive than we would normally pay, but they prepare Gluten free food with no artificial colour nor flavourings. The whole family agreed that this was the best Chinese Takeaway we have ever had, absolutely delicious, so we will be using them from now on!!

La comida es de buena calidad y alegre personal han hecho de este mi elección habitual china para llevar. La entrega es siempre caliente y si acumula es muy rápido. Simplemente el mejor para llevar chino en la zona.

Buena comida china de calidad y siempre te saluda con una sonrisa alegre. Mejor plato en mi opinión es el Kung Po pollo. Pero también he probado su carne desmenuzada y chili, China curry de pollo en salsa de alubias negras, los cuales han sido muy buenas. No está abierto los martes, pero yo creo que esto es bastante normal para llevar chino.

This place does exactly what it says on the tin - authentic but healthy Chinese food. Very tasty and free from MSG and other nasty additives. Service with a smile from staff who genuinely aim to please. Always busy (quite rightly) so do plan ahead. I recently ordered from another local Chinese and could really taste the difference. Will stick with Bokays in future -no reason to go anywhere else! Thank you!! :-)

Blossom is the loveliest lady you could ever meet. The food is excellent, and healthier than other Chinese takeaways and always piping hot when delivered. Delivery times are so accurate, in fact more often than not arriving sooner than the estimated time given. We don't use any other Chinese for takeaway food. Service always with a smile :-)

Just moved to the area and fancied a Chinese as you do.These were the first and now the only ones I'd go to as it was perfect.Three orders now done and all were equally amazing as the last.I really couldn't find fault - great menu, amazing food and exceptional service!Absolutely awesome!

We have visited Blossom regularly since she opened. Great choice of food, reasonably priced. Service always with a smile! Blossom is always so bubbly; she will help you choose if you are not sure what to have. She will also adapt a dish for you if you want. Great portions too! Best in Addlestone!

Have never had bad food at Bokays. Also good value for the money. Would definitely recommend. Set menu for 2 is what we normally have but it's more like food for 3 people. Good friendly staff.

Tried this takeaway for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the food. No overpowering sauces, plenty of crunchy veg and good quality meat. A little more expensive than other local takeaways but you get what you pay for. Only disappointment was that the menu says to ask if there is a dish you would like that isn't on the menu but when we asked for a slight adjustment to one dish, they were unable to make it.

We are compulsive Chinese takeaway eaters and Bokays is by far the best one we have found. The food looks and tastes excellent and they are always happy to tailor a dish or recommend alternatives. Always impressed by the service with a smile and the food.

We have ordered from here a few times , the food is delicious ! Always feel full but not like I usually do after a Chinese from else where! Definitely healthier !! Only downside is every other Chinese offer a Thankyou for your order bag of prawn crackers!

The food from Bokays is really delicious and yet is healthier than the average Chinese, prepared with good fresh veg and no nasties like MSG etc.The service is also fantastic.

I ordered a Chinese meal which was delivered when I was told it would be. The food was brilliant. It was hot and not at all greasy like some Chinese food. We thoroughly enjoyed the Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls. They were crisp and tasty. I will certainly use them again.

Nice food the lady that takes your order Blossom is very helpful and will make you a dish that's not on the menu or add or take ingredients for you.

My son scoffs any food that he is served and especially Chinese but he had a few spoonfuls and decided it was nothing like egg-fried rice that he normally eats. I had some chicken chow mein and it was just as tasteless, I am wondering if the day of the week dictates the freshness of the food though since it was midweek but I will never go back there any other day, the food was tasteless and 4 portions ended in the food bin, sorry Blossom.

Bokays has all the usual dishes you expect from a Chinese take-away and does them all to a fair standard. It is very busy at peak times so to avoid waiting try to order over the phone rather than just turning up.

I love this food. they are so good you have to wait a while for delivery as they are always busy. but their food is amazing, fresh, beautifully cooked with no gluten or nasty bits. All fresh and free from. delicious every time. not cheap though, but you get what you pay for.......takeaway only -not a restaurant.

Blossom runs a tight ship here and the food certainly shows her attention to detail. Always happy to make amendments to the menu, whether simply by removing garlic,reducing spice or making amendments to mixed starters for vegetarians (or just picky clients like me), or battering prawns on a dish not usually battered.OK its not the cheapest Chinese around but the food is freshly prepared, to order and is of a high quality.Well balanced food of Peking, Hong Kong and Cantonese style and look out for her specials on the board each week too.Great extensive menu and generally a very swift service.

Bokays is the best Chinese, Blossom is always welcoming and will do her best to help even if the item isn't on the menu anymore! The food is delicious and cooked without many of the additives that other places use are missed out and the taste is improved by this! If I have to use another Chinese I always feel like I'm cheating!

Great selection of chinese dishes at great prices. Blossom is always smiling and will advise if you don't know what to choose. A dish may be adapted if dietary requirements dictate.

I really thought i had left a review for this place ages back, but it doesnt seem to be here, so lets put things right. This place does fantastic food. I travel a lot in Asia and find the dishes offered here very authentic. I am sensitive to MSG so its good to know that its seldom used in this takeaway. I regularly order food here for all ocaisions and have never in the 10 ish yrs I have done so had any problems.And after a hard day, there no better pick me up that Blossom's cheery voice helping me sort out a meal choice! The price is right for the quality of food - if you want something full of MSG, which is a flavour enhancer used to beef up poor quality food you will pay less elsewhere, but this is the real deal.

We thought we would give this one a try for a change. Food was disappointing, bland and overcooked. Singapore noodles had no int of spice or flavour. Squid, shrivelled and tough. I don't know what makes this healthier than other takeaways. It was expensive and there were no prawn crackers.Order from Dragon Wok down the road. Large portions, lovely food and cheap!

The takeaway was cooked fresh and the food wasn't 'soggy' as some Chinese takeaways can be. The lady who owns it put a smile on my face as she was so talkative and bubbly. This takeaway doesn't offer free prawn crackers with your order like some other places do. Nonetheless, an excellent, fairly healthy, Chinese takeaway!
