Boishaki in Wokingham

I had a fantastic take away last night. The food was brilliant and the delivery was very swift from time of order. I would highly recommend the food here.

When all the other Indian restaurants in Wokingham said that they would be unable to accommodate my booking request for 1.00 pm on Boxing Day, the Boishakhi Restaurant were the only restaurant who were both willing and able to do so. When we arrived for our meal it turned out that they would not normally open during the day, but only in the evening on Boxing Day, and had opened especially at lunchtime to accommodate my request which is true ‘extra mile’ service. Myself, my wife, my son, his partner and their 3 young children were the only customers in the restaurant. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and everyone had a thoroughly good time. I can’t thank the management and the staff enough for having us and saving me and my wife the stress from preparing, cooking and clearing up yet another meal after Christmas Day.

I booked this restaurant for my family as I have been many times over the years and have had a lovely food. We booked for Christmas Day and I got email confirmation . We walked over 4 miles only to be met with the restaurant being closed! Why did you accept my booking. Such a simple thing to book? Not! but thank god for Six Bells they saved our Christmas and to be honest best food I have had in a long time. Such a shame as always rated Boishaki

They were fully booked but they squeezed us in. The food was fantastic and all the dishes we had were full of flavour. We accepted some recommendations and I am pleased we did as they were even better than what I chose myself. Service was great and price was reasonable. Will definitely go back.

Ordered a take away and we were told it would take an hour. Actually took 2 hours and food needed reheating when it arrived. Compared to previous meals this one was disappointing.

To be clear this review relates to a delivery order this evening. I have eaten at the restaurant before and ordered online many times. Tonight I placed an order for delivery. I did this at around 18:40. I received an automated reply saying the delivery time would be 1.5 hours later. In the notes I had requested delivery for 19:30 in order to tie in with celebrations for a friends birthday as there is no way to see current waiting times. I called the restaurant after after ordeing and was assured that delivery would be just over 1 hour, With no delivery happening, I called again at 20:15 and put "On hold" for almost 5 minutes as I was told they needed to deal with other customers. They could not give any valid reason why my order was late and was told the Manager would deliver the food personally and "Sort us out" The food finally arrived after 20:30 not by the manager and the compensation appeared to be a couple of free poppadums. That made all the difference for my £70 spend. The food was only just warm and to be honest not the standard that I had previously experienced - bland to be honest! Folks don't bother with this place any more, they have become complacent and will not get another penny of my money. You have just lost a customer tonight

Really disappointed with my delivery tonight, completely different to the last time which was really great. No flavour on the madras just hot, the biryani was bland as anything, absolutely no flavour/taste. Onion bhaji was more grease than food. The only saving grace was the chicken chat.

Took friends for a meal who hadn’t been out in Wokingham before. Really good experience having not been to this restaurant for a couple of years. Great service and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service as usual and food cooked to perfection. Had a starters and they came out and were excellent, with some lovely dipping sauces too. Main course was brilliant and service was attentive without being overbearing.

The Sunday Buffet price advertised outside on the board outside of the restaurant is incorrect. We were overcharged today. They also charge adult rates for a 12 yr old (small) child. The manager told me this is all on the website. I cannot find this anywhere online. NOT CORRECT PRICES IN PICTURE

The place is horrible, I have been there a few times and every time it was an awful experience. Your booking it will always gets mixed up and you are rudely challenged whether you actually booked the table, than you have to wait because the table table is never ready. Terrible customer service, staff is unpleasant, they behave like they are doing you a favour that they there. Poor food quality, sometimes is so spicy, full of chilli powder that it is not edible. If you order a take away you wait for 1,5hrs, when it eventually arrives, it is already cold. I don't recommend the place and I'll not visit them again.

We are Indian food lovers and probably order one every week. No other Indian compares to this one, it is consistently tasty, good value and Omar is so welcoming. We order off the specials menu and just love it.

The food and service are consistently first class. Thank you Omar and the team. There is a very good range of dishes and Omar is prepared to provide a special meal with twenty four hours notice.

We booked a table of six on a Sunday and arrived in the restaurant late (having called ahead). There was a buffet available which we were encouraged to choose (as this had been fully prepared), and the food was on the whole delicious.The main concerns:- Same serving spoons used to serve meat and vegetarian dishes- Perhaps understandably, the staff wanted us to eat what had already been prepared (and when we asked for a lassi said, 'I would have to make you one) - whilst we understand these are challenging times for restaurants, limited menus/options should really be communicated beforehand- Staff in second half of our meal went outside for a smoke, played items on mobile phones out loud etc. - not very professional

I reviewed the Boishaki in May this year. The food was soooo good that we ordered the same as the last time! We were not let down by either the delivery or quality of food. Decidedly 5*

We ordered a selection of non meat dishes:To start: Onion Bhaji, Jessori Prawn PureeMains: King Prawn Lucknow, Prawn Dansak, Special fried riceSides: Aloo motor paneer, Sag GobiThe food arrived within the stated time and it was still piping hot. Unlike takeaways we've had from other restaurants (outside of Wokingham), the prawns were perfectly cooked, ie. still succulent and we just could not fault any of the other dishes we had - all perfectly DELICIOUS! Our compliments to the Chef @ The Boishaki - THANK YOU !!

Usually my go-to curry house in Wokingham but tonight’s takeaway was a big disappointment. The chicken Shantoshi was nicely spiced but very dry, so nothing to really dip my naan bread in, and the chicken was not particularly tender. The pilau rice did not look like the normal pilau rice I have when dining in their restaurant (whiter, and with some small bits of vegetable garnish in it) and was very lumpy, so much so that I had to cut/mash it before eating. Finally, the website says you get 10% off collections but, having paid and returned home, I saw my bill had not been discounted. Not sure if the restaurant has changed ownership but I can’t see myself returning here in the near future.

Food ordered over 2 hours ago and still hasn’t arrived. Called for an update but the person answering the phone didn’t care. Don’t waste your time- order elsewhere!

We ordered a collect order on Saturday and when we got it home my prawn bhuna was so spicy I couldn’t eat it and the other chicken tikka bhuna although ok, but some very hard chicken in it, the mixed fried rice had some very strange soft congealed lumps of something in it ! Such a waste of money when it goes straight into the bin. We were so surprised and disappointed as we have had take away from here before, not on a Saturday though so not sure if the chef is different through the week, it’s usually lovely. We will vote with our feet, Wokingham has many Indian restaurants to choose from.

We have had dinner in October and the food was really to our taste but the service and waiting time could be improved.

fabulous restaurant with excellent knowledge staff who look after you and give you excellent food recommendations plentiful and good. shame about some customers who feel the need to complain about excellent food and would find it would be difficult to find better.

Meal with friends on a Thursday night. Great welcome, very attentive and personable service. Knowledgeable waiter who really knew his stuff, but who listened to everyone and made excellent recommendations. Food 10/10. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We went for the last day of Eat Out To Help Out as we’ve recently moved into the area, and will definitely become a regular! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and brought us a heater as we were sat outside. The food quality was great and we were given recyclable containers to take away what we didn’t finish!

This is the best place for a curry. The food is amazing so much flavour it’s utterly delicious. The restaurant is of a higher class not the place for dress down. Staff are very professional and take a lot of pride in the running of the restaurant. If you want a quick bite they also to a collection take away which is very convenient.

Perfect sport for dinner for 2. The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful with choices on the menu and wine. We enjoyed the full experience (even the double chilli 🌶 🌶 dish which we quickly neutralised with coconut rice). We look forward to our next visit.

Definitely our favourite curry house in the area by a long way. Food is always great (take-away or in the restaurant) and a very warm welcome mean we always look forward to treating ourselves to a meal.

This restaurant serves Bangladesh food and my regular dish is Lamb jalfrezi. Why you may ask? Well it’s because it’s the closest to a true jalfrezi with fresh chilli’s. this dish is a hot dish where the majority of the heat comes from spices and not chilli’s. Cooked well, they deliver a dish that brings out the flavour of the meat and gives you a spice hit followed by a chilli hit. I love the dish and I eat it as a treat because of its richness. The prawn jalfrezi is even better!!If you love tasty spicy food, you’ll love this dish.

3 of us went to Boishakhi last night for a meal & drinks based on a friends recommendation and wow. ! The food is fantastic .. (go for the Indian Scotch Egg to start!) with great service ! Will definitely go back !

We visited quite early on a Thursday evening. We enjoyed the meal and the food was very good..However, the prices advertised (both outside the restaurant and also on-line) were considerably cheaper than the ones actually charged. We did contact the restaurant, both by Messenger and by Webmail, pointing this out and suggesting they update the prices shown; but we received no reply.

We visit Boishaki at least once a month and sometimes have meals delivered. Omar and his team are always very welcoming and exchange humour readily.The food is always of a very high standard and Omar is willing to ensure we get the highest quality of service.When food is delivered, we are asked to check that the order is correct and on one occasion, when someone volunteered they had an allergy to almonds, their dish was returned to the restaurant and a replacement almond free was brought to us..

Following the closure of the Cinnamon Tree I have been searching for a good curry house and having tried all the local restaurants, I have now found one.

Ordered a takeaway for the first time and thought we would try this place, ordered online and advised it was a hour wait which was fine.

Decided at short notice to book a meal here, and was not disappointed. Excellent shared mixed grill starter. Had a great choice of dishes and were excellent, hot and not overly spicy, which was good. Service and price very good, will certainly go back

Went there on Saturday evening, 5 of us as part of a birthday celebration. Service was very good, they looked after us, the food was tasty and we had a really good experience. Many thanks to the staff.

They were clearly having a bad day but continued to take take away orders. Food turned up two hours late and was like warm. Awful service. They were fine the last time I went there but they failed to manage the issues. Avoid.

Five of us did the usual Anglo-Indian routine of ordering a selection of dishes and having a free-for-all. The staff were attentive and didn't push us to order too much food or more wine than we wanted.

We regularly eat at this restaurant for an all round good experience. The food is delicious and well presented, great value for money, and the staff are so welcoming. The restaurant caters for all size groups or couples. Great atmosphere.

We had a great dinner, from the starters to the main dishes, everything was very nice. was surprised to see some beef dishes. My colleague had the chicken with banana and I had a spicy chicken with spinach, both were very good. Service was very welcoming and friendly.

We went here on a recommendation and wasn't let down. The food and service was all top notch. I will certainly return again soon. Fantastic.

I have reviewed this restaurant before a while back and felt compelled to write another tonight. Another excellent delivery tonight, I am fast becoming convinced that this place is the best around (I have tried most of them). The meat in the curries (lamb madras and chicken handi) was delicious - perfectly cooked, melted in the mouth. Food arrives quickly, is always hot and delivered with a smile every time. I noticed a few other reviews on here mention that the staff really care about their customers and I completely agree with that - it’s not just about winning custom for them, it’s about meeting expectations for food and service. Highly, highly recommend.

I love this restaurant, the staff here are absolutley brilliant. The food is excellent, and even better aided by the all you can eat buffet on a Sunday. Large range of a menu caters to everyone.

We go here often and we have never had a bad meal. The staff are always really friendly and the food is great. The tadka dahl is lovely, as is the lamb biryani and prawn puree. The Sunday buffet is also great.

Been here numerous times now, well run, great hospitality, and really great food, at good prices what else do you need? Different dishes to choose from, not just the same menu as the rest. And portion size we have never had currys with that much chicken per dish aytwhere else. TRY IT

I really enjoy Indian cuisine and like to try new dishes. Omar and his team are very welcoming and happy to advise on alternative dishes and to recommend appropriate quantities. I go to the Boishaki frequently and have never had a bad meal. Really recommend his roast lamb.

I frequently eat in the Boishakhi Restaurant in Wokingham as it is very good but last Friday it was exceptional.My friends and I had arranged with the owner, Omar, to have a speciality of the house - whole leg of Lamb Kurzi. It was excellent. You have to give 24 hours notice for this meal as it is marinaded and slow cooked for hours. Omar served it with Pilau Rice and Special Fried Rice, Naan Bread, vegetable Curry, Alu Gobi and of course the wonderful gravy from the roasting dish of the lamb.The meat was so flavoursome and so tender it just fell off the bone. A fabulous dinner followed by Six Nations Rugby - brilliant!

Omar is a fantastic host and has helped me discover other dishes apart from chicken madras. All his recommendations have been excellent. I have tried a chicken balti, chicken jalfrezi, tandoori chicken starter, aubergine side dish, chicken achari and a chicken pakora starter. I still have chicken madras but not every time! The other indian restaurants in Wokingham are just not up to the food quality served at the Boishaki, in my opinion. Our whole family as well as our friends also use the Boishaki and agree that it is the best one. Omar and his staff provide an excellent service.

Omar and the team constantly deliver great tasting spicy dishes that stand out from the norm. Amazing tender lamb and succulent chicken dishes mixed with authentic and refreshingly different spices makes this place an absolute must.

I live in Wokingham and I have to say I have pretty much tried all the restaurants. I guess you just gravitate to the ones that consistently give you the food and service that is well ... good. This one is damm good great curry made with care. I can heartily recommend without hesitation. Best Indian in Wokingham for sure. Omar we will be back! Again

Been here a few times (both as Boishaki and whatever it used to be called) and the quality is always consistently good. Better IMO than Baranda a few doors down. The guy who seems to be in charge is welcoming and gives good advice if you're not sure what you want.

Una vez visitado dos buffets indios domingo en Wokingham en el mismo día y en esa ocasión era nuestra segunda y de lejos el mejor. En nuestra visita más reciente el buffet estaba mal equipada para la mayoría de nuestro tiempo en el restaurante y consistía de salsas después la carne había sido tomado por otros. El curry también parecía soso en comparación con nuestra anterior visita. . .

He estado en este restaurante 4 veces en un mes, así que me siento con derecho a revisión. Una vez en la calle fui era un martes y estaba prácticamente vacía, pero la comida era muy buena. La segunda vez, fue un viernes y estaban ocupados y claramente no podía hacer frente. Esperamos más de una hora para que llegue nuestra principal, y cuando lo hacía la comida estaba bien, pero no genial. La tercera vez fue el buffet de domingo y tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para la comida para ser re-equipada, aunque la comida estaba buena. El 4 de julio, otro Domingo Buffet; largo, largo esperar por la comida a ser re-equipada y la selección era sólo un puñado y platos muy básico. No había, ni entrante bhaji tikka, no naan, no sólo samosa, curry de verduras, arroz y otros korma, un plato de pollo. Penoso realmente. Yo por el camarero de 10 libras para los que buscan lo siento samosa's todos tuvimos y llevé a mi familia para el árbol de tamarindo (6), el cual es bastante malo también. En conclusión, cuando no hay nadie más allí, se puede comer bien. Cuando hay más de tres mesas ocupadas que no pueden hacer frente. Yo creo problemas con el personal de cocina.

Really tasty food...great curry and tasty additional sauces on the table. Polite service and comfortable surroundings. Good tasty Indian. And they do Bangladesh beer! Only issue is that the hygiene rating is only 3.

After 6 months of living in Wokingham and feeling like we were running out of choices, am happy we have finally found a decent curry takeaway! Ordered twice now and both times been good. Yummy!

Every month on the second Wednesday, a group of friends meet at the Boishakhi Restaurant in Wokingham for a curry. It is always excellent food and excellent service.On Wednesday 8th February I attended with 12 friends and enjoyed a range of startersand main courses especially the Lamb Jhalfrizeea and Prawn Sag.

I was the turn of the Sussex boys to travel up to Berks for the works reunion. The evening consisted of the usual few pints the off for a curry. Our local host had selected the Boishaki without having been before so it was a bit of a gamble. However there was no need to worry as we all had a very pleasant experience. The menu had a number ofmore unusual items on it. I was a bit concerned when ordering the Fish Tikka when I was informed that the was not available, so went for the mixed starter instead but all other dishes we ordered were available. We started with the usual 2 popadams with pickles each, then starters then mains with sides. All the food that arrived was of a high quality and freshly prepared. We all enjoyed our meals and left full satisfied.

Popped in on a Friday night and we were seated immediately, 2 starters and 2 mains with a few drinks. Price was very reasonable and service was extremely quick for a busy Friday night, usually only visit one other Indian in Wokingham but they were fully booked and I'm glad they were as it meant I could add another Indian to my list for next time.

I've reviewed Boishaki before for their sunday buffet, and it's where we get our takeaway which is consistently good. We had a surprise child-free evening (hooray!) so decided to go out for our Saturday curry. Service at the Boishaki is really friendly, and very efficient despite it being busy both with diners and takeaway orders. The food was very good - we had lamb tikka with a good selection of vegetable side dishes - all really nicely cooked and presented. Atmosphere very good, down in good part to such cheerful staff. We'll definitely return. Boishaki is right at one end of the town centre but I'd happily walk past several other curry houses (there are lots in Wokingham!) to come here.

We turned up at 10.30pm and they put up with us until 12.30am, great food, very tasty and the service was superb.

did a large order £80+ which was handled well - all arrived hot and everyone was pleased with dishes ranging from madras which had a healthy kick to it - through to kormas and sundriesonion bhajis were well done tooa great take away experience - will go back for a sit down meal based on this experience

I don't often visit Asian restaurants nowadays so I've not so much to compare this with. Stopped 9pm Sunday on our way home from Italy and Gatwick. Just a main course plus poppadum starter. Fresh modern decor. Clean and bright. Friendly welcome from manager/owner. Staff cheerful and efficient even though the end of the day. Decent food. I'd guess it's Bengali owned (sorry if I'm wrong) but has a wide range of South Asian dishes, clearly explained and located. My lamb based dish was excellent, decent meat not overwhelmed by a strong sauce, my wife's veggie dish excellent apart from somewhat over-firm onions. At £30 including a couple of drinks, a good value relaxing break in our journey. Would call again if in the area.

Went here last Friday with friends, we'd called in to "book" before going to the pub for a couple of pre dinner drinks. On our return the drinks order was taken and arrived promptly, the restaurant was already half full and gradually filling up, things got a little haphazard from then on. Starters arrived and were ok although the chutney with the onion bajhis was little more than a teardrop on the side of the plate! The popadoms were stale and had been reheated. Then out of the blue one of the main courses turned up with rice on the plate and an overcooked scotch egg with the consistency of a cricket ball some 5 mins before the other dishes did. The rice and side dishes for the rest of us arrived but I then had to wait another 5 mins for my jalfrezi type dish which looked like sweet and sour chicken, bright red and sticky. The meat was nice but the sauce didn't taste fresh with chillies in it as I was expecting, more like a packet sauce with something like encona poured on. Will try the Tamarind Tree next time which was fully booked on this occasion.

As good as Baranda food wise, but the service can be a little slow at times, and its not as big so would recommend booking ahead if it's a busy night or peak time.

We decided to get a takeaway tonight, and after reading the great reviews online we chose this place! Called them up, and spoke to a really friendly man.. Ordered quickly and easily and paid too. The food came very quickly, delivered to our house no problem and was nice and hot. It was in proper plastic containers which was nice and all looked great. They even threw in some free popadoms and dip which was kind. Food itself was fantastic, delicious Rogan josh (one of the best my partner said he's ever had) and I had some vegetarian dishes, Sag Paneer and a potato dish. Very flavoursome, not greasy and big portions. Overall amazing, and having tried 2 other Indians in Wokingham.. This is by far the best food! Thanks!

A little quiet here as it is further out of town, but, lovely staff and fresh buffet food made up for the slight lack in atmosphere.There are a number of very good Indian buffets in Wokingham and this is definitely worth a visit.

Visited here (again) for their excellent Sunday buffet. Good choice of starters and mains with dishes regularly restocked. Partner ate off the menu and was highly impressed (she's not a great fan of Indian food) with the flavour and the portion.

Great choice, excellent food. Prawn sag a delight. Chicken tikka so tasty and don't walk past the vegetable curry! Service spot on.

Although quite small, it is has superb food and my go to restaurant if I'm in the Centre of Wokingham and looking for a good Indian.The staff are great and friendly and food comes out really fast. Their Chicken Dansak is my favourite and I've never had a bad meal there.

Nice atmosphere in restaurant with low level lighting, friendly waiting staff who are not too intrusive on your meal. As first timers here, we noticed a lot of return custom. We chose sharing platter served with 2 chilli sauces and tamarind. Popadums at start served with usual accompaniments, but lime pickle tasted really nice, not as hot as many restaurants serve. Mains my husband was given the fabled scotch egg, very subtly spiced and tasty. This went with a chicken lentil dish, the plate was left clean... My girls had chicken kashmir, korma style sauce with banana, had a nice coconut flavour. Mine was a chicken tikka balti, meat nice and tender, sauce found a little sweet. Grilled meat platter was good arrived sizzling, all had peshwari naan also nice and soft and not too sweet.Are definitely thinking of returning rates highly compared to other Indian resturants in Wokingham.

Visited with friends. The welcome was warm and friendly and the service was great. Unfortunately the food was not as good as we hoped from the reviews. I was recommended a dish by the waiter and it was tasty. However it was very oily, as was the pilau rice to the extent it was actually unpleasant to eat. My husband had a similar issue with his meal. Not sure I would return.

Went here after 9pm on a Wednesday thinking that there would be plenty of tables. How wrong, it was packed. But we managed to get a table for two, and am pleased we did. The service was fantastic but we weren't rushed, and the menu was really different, whilst retaining some of the normal dishes. The food was very enjoyable and will definitely be going there again.

At first glance, the menu looked to me like a typical Indian (Bangladeshi) array of dishes with the names slightly changed to appear upmarket. How wrong could I be! Most are very different to the norm and delicious. Yes. the old favourites are there but I urge you to be adventurous and you are in for some very different and enjoyable food.

We are spoilt for choice when it comes to Indian restaurants in Wokingham and surrounds, but Boishaki offers the most tasty dishes of those in the town centre. Whilst others may look smarter or offer entertainment, you can't beat Boishaki for good food (and that's what it's all about)! That is not to say that Boishaki doesn't present itself well because it does, it's very nice inside and the staff and management are friendly and efficient. It's gone to the top of our list for Indian restaurants in the town!

Went here for my takeaway for a change. Pleasantly surprised. Friendly service and good food. The Nargis kebab, Indian scotch egg was tasty. The vindaloo was a bit watery but the Gramfrize is spicy and tasty. The restaurant looks pleasant so will be eating in next time.

Omar and his team are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure an enjoyable experience. The food is the best available in a standard (British) Indian restaurant and we are never disappointed.Certainly the best within 20 miles.Highly recommended.

I love curry and have tried most of the Indian restaurants that Wokingham has to offer, but Boishaki wins...easily. The food is gorgeous and it's now become our regular curry destination.They offer all the typical dishes, but also offer a nice range of house specialities so there is plenty to choose from. I'm still trying new things but finding it difficult to beat the Laal Maan.The service is also good - attentive, but not overbearing. We have never felt rushed and have always had time to enjoy each course, as well as a drink or two.Already looking forward to our next visit!

Visited here on a Friday night. I can't compare it to any of the other local curry houses as I've not yet been to any of them however me and my friends all enjoyed the food. Highly recommend the tandoori chicken tikka masala and the saag paneer is also very good. The service was polite if a little slow at first. Good atmosphere in there, and represented very good value indeed at £25 per head with all the extras and beer. Would go back as I know we would have a good meal.

Visited with a party of 5 on a Friday night. We had booked and then put the table back an hour (cocktails!) and this had caused a bit off confusion but they fitted us in now problem.Service was a little slow at times and one drink was forgotten on one round but they quickly resolved these small issues.Started with pappadums all round which were good and standard dips/chutneys. Mix of mains including favourites like Chicken Tikka Massala and also a mushroom side dish and nan breads. I had a King Prawn Pathia which was absolutely excellent - aromatic, full of flavour and nice and spicy. We shared some Onion Bhajis which again were standard style Indian fayre but excellent all the same.All in all a very good curry, good atmosphere, good service, friendly staff and also very well priced - £140 for 5 with two bottles of wine and six pints. There are loads of curry places in Wokingham, and you'd have to walk past at least a couple on them to get to Boishaki right on the edge of town. It really is worth a visit though - the Sunday lunchtime buffet has an excellent selection of really tasty dishes - excellent value, and just a shame there aren't more people in the restaurant to improve the atmosphere! Something in the buffet to suit all tastes. This is also our choice for curry delivery too (online ordering works very well) really good food and speedily delivered (so far) Give it a try.

Ate here again on Friday night with some colleagues and had a great meal.We didn't book a table and were sat in the lobby area for 5-10 minutes, and quickly shown to our table. Ordered the usual poppadoms and a few drinks to start.I had the king prawn puri to start, this was great, and then the tandoori 1/2 chicken, dall and peshwari naan. My colleagues ordered a mixture of veg dishes and mixed grill. Food was of very good quality and amount, so much so that we had a doggy bag to take with us at the end!The waiters were very pleasant and efficient, especially as it was a busy Friday night.Well done! I like this restaurant and will return :)

Having read the reviews we decided to pop in this evening to try something different from the normal. There are a lot of Indian restaurants in Wokingham and I hadn't eaten here for more years than I could remember. The menu was quite varied and we picked a couple of different dishes (I can't for the life of me remember their names). The portions were very good, we had large amounts of chicken breast and the spices were balanced, both in heat and taste.Pricing was pretty standard, service was good and we left well fed and happy. I would definitely visit again and try another "different" dish.

This is one many curry houses in the area that has a home delivery service, but having tried most of them, it is a cut above the average. Ordering is simple and can be done on line and the meals have always been delivered within the time scale quoted at the time of ordering.The choice is very broad and what I really like is that the dishes are all different and you do not end up with three or more currys with a red sloppy sauce with too much cream. The individual dishes are exactly that, individual, and created with some obvious attention to detail. With such a wide choice of options the staff are always helpful in navigating the menu with you be it sit-in or take-away and they offer very sound advice that often takes you into new territory. I've had some really good meals with an original taste, especially for the Kashmiri and Nirmish dishes.Best to spend time looking at the menu on line beforehand or collect from the restaurant and do not be afraid to ask for recommendations. You'll not be disappointed.
