Boho Gelato in Weymouth and Portland

it’s ok, but i’d say average; choices on cones and toppings, and very inexpensive

Fantastic gelato with a great variety of flavours. Added bonus of being right by the harbour to sit and enjoy the gelato by.

Apparently they used to Boho Gelato which has a Brighton branch which I've been to many times as I live nearby, so I expected a few vegan flavours. Unfortunately they only had one (pineapple) which was nice enough but not as adventurous as the ones I'm used to in Boho.

Extremely rude girl member of staff in here! Black cherry gelato tasted like half melted milk. Don’t recommend. More expensive here than other parlours. Save your pennies and go elsewhere.

Been and had an ice cream with my husband and son today. This was by far the best I have ever tasted. I had the coconut and hubby and son had the chocolate. The texture and the taste was amazing, will definitely be going back again before we go home.

Having become independent of BoHo full marks to Bepo for honouring my full BoHo loyalty card. Quality has been maintained though the scoops are not quite as generous perhaps. The introduction of a half scoop at £1.75 is great if cash is tight or like me ice-cream and wafer together are the best part!!

Giggi ice-cream. The best ice-cream in Weymouth. Awesome flavours, friendly staff and a nice environment to sit inside and enjoy your treat if you wish.

Beautiful decor and a wonderful atmosphere. The ice cream is incredible, both in flavour and texture, for a good price. Definitely coming here again, this has set my holiday standards high!

Came across this little gelato shop today ! Too much delicious flavours to chose from so the friendly staff let me sample the 2 I was trying to decide between ( can only have 1 scoop as lactose intolerant !!) but the staff very kindly gave me half a scoop of black cherry and half a scoop of coconut ! Lovely clean shop , fantastic gelato and amazing staff - well done , I definitely recommend !

What an amazing find this was, a little gem a side street opposite the harbour. Amazing ice cream, fantastic flavours but most of all the friendliest service I have ever experienced. We will be back for sure next time we are in Weymouth.

Really divine ice-cream, the melon flavour was to die for, reminded me of summers in Hungary. My companion was delighted with the saffron & rose. Recommended, often missed where it is tucked away , don't do that, hunt it down !!

Was excited to try the nutella icecream. Bit disappointed as it literally was like a pot of vanilla with a few chunks of nutella chucked in. Didnt taste that nice tbh

A must for any ice cream lover. Always a good variety of flavours and you can try before you buy. We are regulars throughout the year and have never been disappointed with the flavours and quality.

Every time we visit Weymouth this place is a must, they have some unusual but really tasty combinations (just ask and you can taste before you buy). All made freshly and with care which comes out in the taste of the end product.

Best ice cream in the town. If you are looking for outhentick Italian gelato this is the place. I absolutely love sauer cherry

We visited during a busy week in the summer when there was queue but the staff were not overwhelmed. The gelato was good, authentic flavours and consistency and a few wacky flavours that Italians would turn their nose up at!

Absolutely fantastic, after finding out they had Gluten Free Vegan cones and that they were open over the Christmas Break (27th December) our kids eyes lit up with joy, finding out the ice-cream was handmade was also a nice surprise with Gluten Free Vegan Options like mince pie or lemon. The lady who was serving was brilliant she also had time to talk to us and our kids.

Always good service from here and we always get a different flavour Been going there now nearly every month

Went here with family today and it was amazing. The lady on the counter was so welcoming and helpful. I had the sea salt caramel which was the best I've ever had. Would def recommend that if you are visiting Weymouth you must visit here..

This is just an ice cream shop, although I think they serve drinks as well and you can sit inside. Visited this a couple of times whilst on holiday. Unusual flavours with a change of flavours each day. No more expensive than the local ice cream and the flavours and texture were great.

Have visited a couple times as a treat and I just love it! It is expensive ice cream but it’s totally understandable, as the huge array of flavours including classics to the uncommon and downright deliciously bizarre are handmade by a gentleman who works there! Flavours change on a daily basis too which is brilliant! Love the idea that they will allow you to ‘try before you buy’ and always give generous portions. Would always recommend a visit as I’ve always love all the ice creams I’ve tried!

Out of this world. Without a doubt the very best gelato ever. Interesting flavours and hand made. Exceptionally clean and bright. Staff amazing. Could visit daily but hold off to one or two visits a week!

We visited Boho Gelato and my daughter who is coeliac had a lovely strawberry and rhubarb ice cream in a gluten free cone! Staff were very friendly and we would definitely return.

After an evening meal we’d decided to skip dessert and get the kids (3 & 9) an ice cream on the walk ‘home’. Hubby happened to spot this place as we zigzagged through the streets by the harbour. Having been once we will be back and the only bad thing to say is that I’m not sure we will want to try anywhere else! I had the lemon creme, eldest had the sour cherry and youngest a junior serving of the chocolate. Staff were friendly and happy. Would absolutely recommend.

Lots of choice, don't be disappointed if your favourite isn't available, the choice means that you will probably finish up with something you actually like more. friendly staff and good size portions

I’ve visited boho gelato on multiple occasions because of their outstanding flavours and polite staff. They are very welcoming to all and make you feel comfortable to be there. Fabulous ice cream, would totally recommend 9/10

Once we found this gem we came back every day. Delicious gelato and in flavours I had never tasted before. If you like ice-cream, you will love it!

I don't think I've ever had ice-cream quite as good as here—with the possible exception of Sicily. If you're in Dorset and are planning to come to Weymouth, come and have an ice-cream here.

Ice cream was pasted and smoothed over into a pot - it could be presented in a more appetising way. No toppings were available and the colour was weird. That all said - tasted great. Service was very good - Sorbet was delicious.

Went with my vegan partner, plenty of choice for her and the lady serving us was really friendly and really helpful too. Also, probably the best ice cream we've both had in years.

Nothing beats eating an ice-cream from Boho Gelato sitting on the wall down by the harbour on a sunny day. Dark chocolate strawberry, carrot cake, salted caramel were all yummy. Lovely lady who runs this place and gives folk a taster. She totally understands what an important decision this is! Unmissable.

Popped in to Boho as we happened to be passing - hadn't seen all the positive reviews beforehand but they are completely deserved. Friendly service, delicious flavours and huge portions; Boho is a great place

We skipped dessert in the restaurant we had lunch to try the gelato at Boho, and we were very glad we did. They have a good selection of flavours on offer and it's reasonably priced, but it's the taste that makes it so good. Definitely the place to go for dessert in Weymouth!

Been to Boho gelato several times now and never disappointed with the excellent variety of flavours. Try before you buy, selection of different cones or tub and friendly staff. Worth a visit.

The BEST desert in town. We have not had a better gelato or sorbet. Visited twice for desert. The owner was really pleasant and knowledgeable about his product. There are tables and benches to eat in, or the harbour is just outside to enjoy the sun. It is spotlessly clean and well presented. There is a board on the wall with customer comments, all positive. Please visit, you will not be disappointed.

We found this place looking for proper ice cream and it did not disappoint. The carrot cake flavor is AMAZING! My husband who loves chocolate ice cream the most also loved his, it was really chocolatey. Definitely a must if you want decent ice cream, and not too far from the seafront either.

Really worth a visit, we buy take out to enjoy over Christmas and Andy special occasions. Three chocolate is really good. But try it all you can’t go wrong.

Delicious ice cream and friendly staff. Such a great variety of flavours too with free taster samples if you're not sure about some of the more adventurous options. The best in town in our opinion and the kids have even got their own Boho song, "Boho, yo ho ho, so delicious that I can't believe it, Boho, yo ho ho ... etc"

None of your mass produced ice cream here. Artisan crafted selection of ice creams and sorbet, which taste wonderful. It is always difficult to choose what to have and never been disappointed with the one finally selected. Would recommend that you try it for yourself.

Visited here several times. Each time they had 4 vegan choices. The cones are vegan too. The gelato was smooth and creamy and all of the staff very helpful and friendly. It is situated by the harbour, which is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the gelato.

Great gelato, we had an amazing experience!! We couldn’t believe our eyes.....and dog friendly too!! Good gelato, great selection of dairy free gelato. Amazing taste! Very very good cones too. Friendly staff. We 💖 you. Our little Italian 7 years old is really fussy about gelato. She had the whole cone. They also do junior scoops which are huge!

We walked past and were impressed with some of the ice creams leaving the shop so, fancying an ice cream, we went in. A nice looking little venue, although we didn’t sit in. A good range of Ice Cream’s, some of which were unusual. We all chose something different. They were fabulous. The texture was unusual - softer than usual which my wife was less keen on - but the flavours excellent. Would definitely recommend these Ice Creams.

There was a choice of around 12 different flavours and some of them were dairy free which was good. Not the best ice cream ever, although wasn't too cold, which is as gelato should be. I treated myself to a Choc dipped cone but shouldn't have bothered as you couldn't really taste the chocolate. The cone itself tasted a little stale too, to the point that I didn't finish it. Pretty disappointing.

We saw people eating delicious looking ice creams and traced down the shop. We'd never been to Weymouth before so had no idea of the treat we were about to have. The flavours were all so inticing we couldn't chose and we were offered a taste of whatever we wanted to try . All were delicious but I chose Nutella, fig and mascarpone and melon. Three big scoops for £5 . Wonderful ice cream and great service with friendly chatty staff.

Had vanilla with cherry in mine my wife had dark chocolate and raspberry with fig and mascarpone and our son had a salted caramel and one with peanuts all were amazing. How do other ice cream places survive with this place as competition!!
