Bobbo's chip shop offers fantastic value for money with fair pricing. The quality of their food is excellent, especially the kebab meat (chicken and doner) which I'll definitely be buying again. It wasn't overly greasy, and the chips were perfectly battered, making for a delightful meal. Their large sausage was textbook,

I had 2 fish and chips, and a pizza and it was all so fresh. The service was also great; you could see they were tired but they were still so nice and helpful and it really just made my day tbh.

Ordered fish and chips x 2 and a curry sauce. Chips where good ol' golden chips and the fish was lovely with great batter! This miss says that she would recommend the curry sauce, "top 5 I've had" in her words. The shop was nice, tidy and clean. Lady and Gent behind the counter where super nice. A great chip shop. Bobbo always goes the extra mile and his wife is lovely too. The food is always cooked fresh and the portion size is generous. You can eat in too if you wish to.

Came in here today for a quick snack and ended up ordering 2 large fish and chips with a can of coke. And 1 pie and chips Cooked to perfection and fresh. Table service also so no waiting around. If your ever in the area i reccomend this place, great value for money also. Very friendly staff and very helpful. Keep up the great work guys will deffo be coming back.

Best chips I've ever had soft on the inside and fried to perfection for a perfect crisp on the outside not to mention the juicy kebab which all comes in a generous portion they even even threw in 3 beautifully crisped fried chickens to pair with our meal this is hands down the best takeaway food I've had in Birmingham great work and keep serving your great food 👍 from Natasha's son Josiah

Decided to try this place randomly on a Saturday lunchtime a few months ago whilst shopping in Blackheath! We were not disappointed! This has to be the best chippy I've ever had. The orange chips are amazing and the fish is cooked to perfection! Super friendly atmosphere and we are now weekly regulars! Parking is a bit of a pain but trust me, it's worth it for an excellent quality chippy!

I wouldn’t even rate this place 1 star my dad goes into the shop to get me a bag of chips and my card is voided but the transaction is pending bloody stupid if this transaction goes out and I do not receive my chips I shall take this further

Started using Bobbo regularly the last few weeks and have to say his service is brilliant, the food is always top notch and he will always cook you a fresh piece of cod when you walk in. Worth waiting a few minutes extra for! Keep up the good work Bobbo!!

Bobbo will look after u if u look after him by staying loyal he’s an absolute legend always has the time for me and my mrs to even bring the food over himself not only that but he also make sure the food is cooked to perfection nothing but 5* ratings from me and trust me if I could I’d rate it 10* no exaggeration at all but thank you bobbo from Jordan.

The premises were being given a thorough clean whilst I visited, but already looked shiny and inviting before the clean. These guys are doing a great job. Well worth the money. Food was amazing this chip shop is the best by far in the west Midlands. The food is cooked perfect and its always nice an hot. Portion size is really good value for money. They are always really friendly and also make the time to say hello and ask how you are. I would highly recommend.

By far the best chip shop around, the orange chips are so fluffy with a perfected crisp on the outside, the pizzas are made fresh by the lovely lady and my god can’t you tell just how fresh they are. Nothing is ever too much to ask of the owners, the food is cooked fresh for you on the spot, with a wide range of variety from fish, kebabs, southern fried chicken, pizzas & even fresh naans you will definitely not be disappointed, the shop offers both dine in or takeaway with plenty of meal deals to choose from. The cleanliness of not only the shop but the toilets too are unmatched, a very well presented shop and you can see the owners put there heart and soul into making this establishment the best it can possibly be, with all the little added extras around the shop including a Bobbo’s fishing boat. This shop is definitely worth a visit if you haven’t already had the pleasure of doing so, I can promise you will not be disappointed. Prices are unmatched for the high quality food you will receive. 5 * just isn’t high enough for me!

Absolutely fantastic fish and chips, thought I would give them a try today due to the positive reviews and was very happy with the food and service. 2 large cod and chips, Bobbo fried the fish fresh in front of me, chips were delicious, golden battered and fish was fried to perfection. Bobbo and his team are clearly very passionate over the food they serve and give a very welcoming and friendly service. 5 star hygiene, 5 star food and 5 star service. Highly recommended.

Come here as a regular customer I find I find Bobbo's fish and chips the best in Blackheath great staff nothing to much trouble nice seating area and toilets all sparkling clean I recommend the side salad with your Kebab and the team make a great cup of tea please come and give it a try you will not be disappointed

Don’t order from here they are rude and bad manners; learn to actually be respectful to you’re customers, worst experience I’ve had, managers was rude his employee was very muse smirking making little comments telling me I’m a liar I paid for extra cheese on my chips and got enough cheese to cover 3 chips I went and told them and how I paid extra they were rude and disrespectful, when I’ve had cheese chips form there before I had cheese all over my chips they tried to lie and say the boxes are small that’s why I said no when I’ve had it before in the same size box I’ve had cheese, snatched my food from me, absolutely disgusting don’t go there, the food is not even nice more like a last resort

I spent two weeks working away from home, Bobbo's provide me with fantastic lunches and friendly chats. The jacket potatoes are lovely, really generous portions. I also LOVED their world famous Fish and chips! Best fish and chips in the UK outside of Whitby. The staff were all lovely and always had a welcoming smile and took the time to chat. This really helped to make my trip away from from home more pleasant. Thanks Bobbo and the team, I'll definitely be back in when I'm next in the Black Country x

Ordered a mini fish and chips, the fish had no taste whatsoever, it was really dry despite him telling me it was fresh out the fryer. The chips weren’t what I expected them to be, will not be coming here again. He can give it the big talk but when it comes to cooking I can genuinely say it’s not all that.

Nice friendly owner and definitely worth travelling for all the food there. Better than any around our nan & grandad loved it.

Had a takeaway tonight from Bono’s Blackheath,in my opinion they are the best in the midlands,everyone should go there.

After an awful experience at a nearby venue I came here instead and glad I did. I asked about a takeaway offer could be eaten in and she said yes and told me the price. Along with a drink and bread and butter, my meal was quickly served to my table.

This is probably the most welcoming place I've been to in a long time, we felt like we were visiting some friends, the food is amazing too, place is clean and well looked after, food is fresh, fish is fresh. They even serve tea if that's all you want, Most definitely worth a visit if you like your fish and chips, 5 stars isn't enough

Yesterday we went to Bobbo's for the 1st time even if we're local and i can tell you - we will never buy fish and chips anywhere else! It was the best fish, the best chips, even mushy peas and curry sauce were incredibly amazing 👍🏻 Sometimes you come home and fish is all wet, chips are sticking to the paper and are somewhat tasteless, while i promise you, Bobbo's will never leave you disappointed 🥳 The service is top! We felt like we're truly welcome there, will be definitely coming back ❤️
