I recently visited Blue Zenzer and unfortunately, it was a complete letdown from start to finish. The service was extremely poor, and the staff lacked attentiveness. Consequently, we only ordered starters since no one came to take our main course orders. Even the starters were served cold, which was quite disappointing. Moreover, my daughter, who is a good eater and loves pasta, ordered a kid's meal, which turned out to be unappetizing, particularly the Pomodoro sauce. She also ordered a brownie with ice cream, which was rock hard, almost as if it were still frozen. Overall, I was utterly disappointed since Blue Zenzer was one of my favorite places to dine.

Rascist people and big headed and when you complain to them then block you on all platforms including just eat and Uber eats. Very rude staff and verbally rascist calling us bloody Indians and cheap when we spend double on other places. Total cheapscape people and no respect for customers. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST!!!!!

Really amazing; a gem in London and the area

Honestly why advertise on Deliveroo and Uber Eats if you are not commited most of the time to be available to order. We have rang several times only to be told by the staff that the option to order online is on. It gets switched on every time we call in and complain. Not sure if the staff switch the system off to avoid additional kitchen orders. Definitely not a way to run business. Food is great but shame you don't get an option to order it most of the time.

On a Wednesday night, probably 3 or 4 tables occupied, yet the Service was.... either zero or neglible! I had to walk up to get my own drinks served by force! And oh dear oh dear!!! I would never ever have any of their food!!! We ordered starters of Fish, .. sogged and mushy in a tasteless meshy tomato sauce, which i actually returned. Prawns were over fried so rubbery and that same disgusting sauce poured over! They do love that disgusting tomato sauce, coz the buffalo wings were served the same way!!! I'm never ever going back to the place!! IT IS NOT THE SAME BLUE ZENZER IT USED TO BE.

Disappointed place. I went there yesterday, ordered food and when the food arrived they said. “We have no sauce today” food was tasteless and hygiene was horrible too. Can’t believe people go here

Ok place for some food together with friends and family. Unfortunately massively lacking in gluten free options.

What a disappointing experience, having been to blue zenzer 3 years ago and then again very recently, the whole experience was a huge disappointment. The food came to the table cold around the edges and piping hot in the middle which means it was microwaved rather than served fresh. The prices are so high for a family of 4 to have only ordered 3 starter dishes and 2 mains we paid over £120. I certainly won't be going back there

Food was not tasty. Very cheesy. Very expensive for what you get. Service was acceptable. Lots of people but restaurant lacks atmosphere.

Don’t bother :( It isn’t a fusion of Indian and Italian. It’s just a confusion of cuisine’s - sorry. The restaurant is part of golf range/course and games complex. Pasta undercooked. Arrabbiata had an aftertaste. Cannelloni was dry. Spicy mogo in pomodoro sauce tasted more like mogo in ketchup. Virtually all non-Italian (Indian meat) dishes had a gluten coating, which is really unusual. Service is slow and as others have said really uninterested and inattentive. Put in your registration number to avoid a ticket. It isn’t clearly explained- I just happened to notice.

Food was tasteless, ordered pastas and all the sauces were watery. You could drink it with a straw that watery! Chili pesto paneer had no flavour and was dry. Do not recommend the place at all. Very disappointed with the food and the ambiance.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Too much noise from a group celebrating a birthday. Told the manager and he was indifferent. Lighting looks like a back street cafe. Food quality has deteriorated massively since I was last there before the venue renovations and Covid pandemic of 2020. We bought a bottle of wine and water. For water they gave us big "Coca Cola" engraved glasses - unbelievable ! The staff said there are no other glasses for water ! Zero star rating from my experience. WILL NOT GO AGAIN. The waiters were polite and kind.

My wife and I took my elderly parents to Blue Zenzer on Sunday 25th October 2023 for my mum's birthday. I have been to the restaurant several times previously but not recently. The experience was awful. Some of the food we ordered arrived luke warm and was largely bland. They've cut back on the toppings for some of the dishes (garlic bread chili cheese and chilli paneer pizza) and they served my parents ice cream in a take away cup with a child's plastic spoon ! Will not be going back

Over priced tasteless food, wouldn’t recommend going

I had high expectations for food here after many recommendations. However, I was shocked at the severe lack of taste in the green chilli paneer, despite all the decoration on it. The veggie coriander pizza was equally as lifeless and I was immensely disappointed. I’ve also developed an upset stomach, post-meal. I will not be attending this restaurant again and would rather go to proper Italian or Indian places to experience those cuisines.

We came for an evening meal with some friends. We were a group of 12. Kalpita was attending to us for the evening. The customer service was excellent and she was very friendly and helpful. I would come again.

A great sports bar with a fantastic range at the bar

More than highly disappointing, food is massively overpriced for what you get. Ordered a pizza the toppings were very scarce and minuscule, pasta was just about okay but again vegetables scare. A real disappointment and sorry to say rip off. Not sure how they can justify charging such high prices. The service was okay, asked for chilly sauce and received what seemed to be a spicy tomato sauce. Have dinned her few times in previous years and enjoyed the food and atmosphere but this time would definitely not recommend or return.

We had a table for 8 on Friday It was difficult to get to because of the roadworks outside so leave extra time to arrived Parking is worse than I remember the overflow is not safe and spaces limited when it’s busy Food was good though pizzas were delicious but came out all at very different times so we didn’t eat together really Overall good evening Scarlett was lovely and took our photos too

Having come here after years, the food has definitely gone down hill. Unenjoyable. Will not eat here again. What a disappointment

unfortunately this review is not going to be positive. when we came in we were taken to our table by a moody server who looked like they didn’t want to be there, they didn’t say anything, no hi or hello, just “what’s your name” and “follow me”. And they led us to a dirty table with unclean plates which they expected us to eat from. the service was extremely slow and took about 10 minutes just to get some menus… and then we were expected to wait around for another 15 minutes to get our drinks. The food was okay but the portions were very small for what they were worth and they didn’t even have any of the pizzas listed on the menu and the vegetarian choices for main course were limited. This is the first time that I had been to Blue Zenzer since it had been taken over by BigShots and it was not a pleasant experience. DO NOT GO HERE, it is not worth your money nor your time.

Bad service took ages for food to come. Didn’t have any pizza or vegetarian burgers for me and my family to eat.

Great service from Scarlet, paneer pizza was tasty. They don’t have any plain yoghurt so bring your own if you need it with your Indian food.

Went for a family birthday lunch, was very disappointed with the food. The starters were nice but the mains especially the pasta dishes were bland and tasteless. Would not recommend the Alfredo pastas. The mocktails were too watery. The service was ok. The manager was understanding and took the pastas of the bill. Don’t think will be eating at this restaurant for awhile.

Nice Indo italian place but the service was very slow and disinterested servers .

What wonderful customer service. Went for an end of term lunch, kids and parents. Was meant to be only a few but almost 2 year groups suddenly turned up. The staff happily accommodated all of us and served us with smiling faces. They were as efficient as they could be with a such a last minute turn up of so many people, that filled up their entire restaurant. On top of that, the food was as it always is, tasty and delicious. Can not commend them enough. Thank you.

The food is very tasty, service is good and the restaurant is nice. Would have preferred to have more vegan options though.

Service was slow and it was expected, being Friday evening but they watered down our drink and that was not acceptable.

The drink was watered down. We ordered a jug full of juice and what we got was two third water. We poured this drink in glasses so only a third of the jug was full before we realised that the drink was not what it should be. We complained and they agreed only to replace what was in the jug!

Really good driving range and food to match the high tec range

We last came here 4 years ago. Food was always good but this time really disappointed. We drove 2hrs to find the taste of the food is not we remember at all. I had to ask for salt which sometimes isn’t unusual as I like a little bit of salt but when my parents were also adding a lot of salt to their food it reinforced that the food wasn’t what we remember it to be. There was no seasoning on our food. Such a disappointment as it was for Father’s Day too. Do not think we will be visiting any time soon.

Food was terrible. Blue Zenzer food was amazing before refurbishment. Was absolutely led down by the pasta.

Very convenient for me and a godd set of choices on the menu. Food was ok but not amazing... The pasta dish I had to start with was tasty and I enjoyed it. However the waffle dessert was huge but very stodgy and bland. Service was more like a pub than a restaurant. No cooler for the white wine, knives and forks loaded into the middle of the table. One of our waitresses had very limited English, but the lead one was good. It's a pleasant place but only go if you are local or there for the golf too.

Experience was OK. Recommend going there once and try out. Lamb lasagne is worth 😋

Service was pathetic, served the food first without plates, food was getting cold, and had to mention staff 3 times for Plates, water came after many reminders, too, and it wasn't that busy. Food We tried Chilli Mogo, and paneer was completely runny. I never saw this kind of gravy with paneer and mogo 0 star. Overall, I say food wasn't up to mark what they were charging for. Was disappointed.

The mogo stood out for me because it's the one dish I haven't forgotten about. Not the place to go crazy over the cocktails, perhaps take a chance - i had some blue coloured one, which wasn't too bad. The decor is not the fanciest but it's well maintained.

Around 20 of us visited for a family lunch- Rahul from the events team was wonderful and helped coordinate the afternoon. We had the two course lunch followed by an afternoon of golf. The food was lovely- credit to the kitchen staff. I in particularly enjoyed the light, crispy pizza base and the chicken wings. Thank you to Rahul, the kitchen staff and the waiters who served us.

Lovely grounds. Food is good, golf seems brilliant. I’ve been here a few times now and it’s always been a good place to meet. Having its own parking makes it easy to visit.

Came in restaurant for dinner with free parking . Got parking invoice(100£) later on by post. Don't go there. Those people's are scammers .

Must be zero with service and food was cold when ask for why cold they make them same bread hot make it burn. Staff told me that they make the new one

One of the worst dining experiences I've had. Food was inauthentic, and just didn't taste good at all. Waiting staff was okay but barely present. The pasta sauces were literally thin and tasteless like watery soup. M&S frozen food tastes better. Super disappointed as I love the golf range. Prices were outrageous. Place looked old and dingy. Go to pizza express, you're better off.

The most disappointing visit by far to this place. They had 2 table servers and both made no effort to serve the table properly. They didnt write one dish at all. The pasta dishes were barely warm. The cannelloni had a double thick layer of cheese and not enough filling. They forgot one dish altogether. Latte was just hot milk. No coffee in it. That was 'punched' into the system after being reminded twice. We had to keep going to bar to ask for things as they kept forgetting. Not worth the money at all.

Visited yesterday after telephoning and was told no booking arrived only to be told where’s your booking. Given a table but the service was so poor and staff were no very friendly nor attentive Food quality was very poor and cold No taste as it said Asian food but it was all bland even when ordered spicy It was not not the money well spent and distance travelled. We would never go back again after new management We requests for takeout boxes and given poor quality type and others given better ones when pointed out, they said it was run out, when said they just been given then they gave us, had to ask for a bag they seem not to care about service When we left, no one greeted us with a bye or anything

Hadn't been here since pre covid so thought we'd try it out, foods completely changed now, it wasn't the best unfortunately. Didn’t have a great variety of choices on the menu either. Their strawberry mokito was nice. However, it wasn't worth the amount we paid considering we didn't order much and there was a lot leftover as no one enjoyed their meal. A shame as we used to love this place. On a positive note, the staff were nice and helpful.

A wonderful, calming place. Lots of parking. Fresh air. Celebrated new years here. Would recommend coming here.

3th class food Colette don’t came next’s time And staff is very rudely

A once renowned Indian/Italian fusion restaurant now a shadow of its former self. The pizza was thin and had a great flavour whilst the fries were perfectly complemented by the truffle mayo. The red pesto paneer was fiery and tasty whilst the green pesto paneer was a confusing combination. The Spinach & Artichoke formaggio was lukewarm and had developed a skin on top as if it had been left sitting for a while but tasted creamy. Also much to my disappointment the passion fruit mojito was sickly sweet with little lime or mint flavour. The ambience was also moody with dark walls and poor lighting. Service was very slow and inattentive- we had to ask for serving spoons and some peoples dishes were served much earlier than others.

Good Italian cum Indian taste restaurant, Professional service provided by ANA Good portion of food if you're sharing and fantastic atmosphere inside the restaurant. We just loved it ❤️

I was there last night fortunately the company I was with was amazing..the only thing I really enjoyed was the chilli cheese toast. The pesto pasta was really not an Italian pesto it was thick and gloopy. The Tiramisu had no rum..I understand they are accommodating potential clients who may not drink, but it was poor and then to top it all you got a spray cream on the side with a strawberry on top (forgot to take a pic) My friends orders me various pasta some were enjoyed others not so much. We kept on having to ask for glasses, one of main dishes was served approx 30mins after everyone else after a number of chasers. Has they said the dish would take a while we would have understood. Haven’t been here in very long time but was expecting the amazing pesto pasta meal that I had then.Really disappointed..

Expect a parking charge notice which you will not receive by post but you shall receive a notice from Debt recovers for not paying the penalty on Parking charge notice. You will have to pay £170 on top of your bill for below average food and service. Avoid at all costs!!

Food was good...but service can improve better

This used to be a restaurant with good vibes and even better food. We had pizza and a salad..both very average and ceaser salad very bland! Hopefully, this was to do with time of the day rather than the norm.

I have been to Blue Zenzer many times over the years. I have celebrated many big occasions there. Every time it has been a great experience. This time though, it was horrible. The menu is shrinking and along with it they are losing their edge. The mocktails are nothing but half a glass full of ice with barely any drink. The food is mediocre at best. It looks dark and dingy and just is not anywhere close to what it used to be…very disappointing…

They changed the menu🙈 sure they had their reasons but so many people have not been for the changes food was amazing before shame. Staff are good and golf looks fun but hope they change the menu back!

Visited Blue Zenzer @Bigshots for my son's birthday. What a disappointment. It used to be so busy and the food used to be amazing. But not anymore. Service was very poor. Son had ordered a particular drink and they didn't have the decency to tell him they do not have it in stock and just placed another flavour of drink on the table instead. Also the pineapple juice was not fresh at all and had to send it back for another one to appear looking fresher but no taste of pineapple. No apology given and staff very poorly trained. Food was very bland and everything loaded with cheese and even my kids said the food has gone downhill. Bring back the old menu and chefs. Otherwise this place will too be closing down. So sad to see that such a once buzzing place has gone so downhill.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times before the refurbishment. I was surprised at how empty it was, which made complete sense as the evening went on. We had to call the servers over ALL evening. I had to ask for them to pay more attention. Portion sizes were a lot smaller. When we got given new plates for dinner, there were bugs and ants on the plates!! Lasagna and cannelloni were just layers of cheese. We had to send the dishes back. After the meal, they were rushing to clean up the table. I won’t be going back here for sure!

Really disappointed. We used to come here before covid…it was so good…NOT ANYMORE! Since the renovation and ‘BIGSHOTS’ coming in…blue zenzer has gone drastically downhill. FOOD lacks the simple good flavour and is just loaded with cheese. Service was beyond rubbish, untrained staff stood chatting while we wave our hands like we’re at a football game. Very sad that a place I used to love coming to has taken such a downward turn. Safe to say I won’t be returning for a while.

Great place to play golf even as a beginner like me and stand and deliver ;). Food is served at the golf bay and also at the restaurant. It can rain but you will still be dry as it is covered. Took the kids and they loved it I had to extend time twice ages 6-8 year olds

We went to this restaurant on a friend’s recommendation and must say, thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was buzzing on the nite and the ambiance was very good. Special shout for Rahul who was very accommodating and looked after us very well indeed. We all came away feeling we will definitely visit again ✅

Disapointed with their service. Unfortunately the waitress made errors with both drinks and main course orders. No apology. Didn't know the difference between a pint and bottle. Asked for a bottle of coke and received a can. No apology/explanation that the restaurant had run out of bottles. Only found out when we queried. Food was average and had ok range for vegetarians. Place itself was clean. Well laid out. Good atmosphere. Ample parking. On the whole ok experience.

Personally prefer the new menu over the old; starters and mains came out on time, overall quality and flavours were amazing, presentation was stunning too! Our server Yildiz was especially helpful, friendly and accommodating, and made our visit really memorable. Look forward to coming back sometime soon!

Love the overall experience had come down @bigshots with my team it was all new for us but Rohan took the ownership of setting our membership and the benefits were explained well @Blue Zenzer. The food was Lovely. Everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. Keep up the good job guys and would like to thank Rohan and Rahul for taking care of us as a group and given this wonderful experience!

Food is mediocre and service isn't great. Pizzas are dry and although some of the fusion concepts are good on paper, they're executed badly. Had to ask for water for the table 4 times before finally given some, but not enough glasses provided.

Great food, atmosphere, location and service. 4th time there with friends and doesn't disappoint. The spectrum of cuisines and flavours make it novel each time.

Chips were great but not the paneer pizza I had ordered. Wasn't provided any cutlery at the table and service wasn't attentive. Although it was busy in there, so maybe the service was slow due to this.

We have been going to Blue Zenzer for many years, we didn't realise that its changed, to Big Shots service was absolutely poor, the waitress was very slow , getting it completely wrong all the time bringing us other people's dishes, food and drinks , prices are very expensive and the taste of the food was appalling, totally changed the flavours, since Blue Zenzer, I would never recommend this place Big Shots .... Totally ruined my Eid ......

Used to love this place . However, it's really gone downhill. Service very slow & poor considering we were the ONLY people in the restaurant. Food choices are reduced & food ordered that we had previously loved was very bland. Overall standards have dropped, which we should've guessed from the empty restaurant!. Definitely will not be visiting again!

Used to enjoy coming here for a nice meal and few cocktails with friends but after this last experience will definitely not be coming back. No atmosphere, service absolutely appalling, food bland and tasted like frozen produce, even the pizza base tasted like it was heated from frozen with few extra toppings thrown on top ! Tasted 5 of the red wines before we found one that was actually drinkable and the cocktails tasted like dishwater, when they actually arrived . Mine didn’t ( 3 of us so not even a big amt to remember!) and I couldn’t get the attention of anyone to ask where it was until the dinner arrived at which point I had wine so didn’t want the cocktail. Hope everyone reads the reviews on this platform before they consider going there ( because there are very few good ones) and it will save them the bother of going . Never again! Eileen

We visited Blue Zenzer for father’s day lunch and left with a big dissatisfaction. We were a big group and without our knowledge the order was put on hold of which the other staff apart from who took our order had no clue. The starters were served after we enquired about our food not been served for one and half hour. The lady who took our order was not ready to take the responsibility of this and said if it takes two hours for a margharots pizza its fine and was happy to cancel the order after keeping us waiting for good two hours. Such a shame for such a lovely restaurant. We landed up cancelling half of the order and even after that there was no compensation or consideration from the staff. We are very upset and extremely dissatisfied with the poor service and not great food at all. Overall a disaster. I understand that it must be once of the many incidents but one incident is enough to put off regular customers and word of mouth matters a lot in this regard. i genuinely hope the restaurant pays more attention to improvisong their service and training their staff better to attend customers with more empathy. Not visint back again !

Very quick and efficient service. Food portions are quite big (even the kids meal 🙂). Loved the pesto chicken pasta and spicy birdie burger although it could have been a bit more spicier. The LIIT was quite strong, just the way I like it 🥂

Worst food service in the local area. Even though it was half-empty, it took ages to get a table, then starters took an hour. The manager did not even care when we asked why such slow service, we got a bad attitude back. Feel sorry for the staff who work there. Go work elsewhere. AVOID this place if you want reasonable service. We left and had our mains and dessert Elsewhere. The place has gone downhill and is not the same anymore.

Never experienced such a poorly run bar (bunker downstairs) / restaurant (upstairs)in my life. We attended the "bunker" for football but found ourselves going upstairs to the restaurant to order food and drinks as the staff downstairs were clueless - in particular the two "managers" who going around like headless chicken - clearly with zero experience in this industry. Staff were literally walking out on the night amongst the chaos. There were too many faults to list but to name a few: from not having a table reserved for us and being provided with garden equivalent furniture in the corner, food taking 2.5hours for cold food to arrive (not even the full order) and it was the worst food I've ever eaten to water/sewage water gushing from the ceiling onto customers. Countless people asking for refunds with no staff around to process anything. This place won't be run by the same people for much longer, clearly.

Updating my previous review - the new Blue Zenzer is awful. Food is abysmal - bland, clearly cooked from frozen, hugely overpriced. Such a shame as I was excited to hear they were bringing this back. Waiting staff are lovely but that’s about it.

Ate potato wedges and pizza. Pizza was nice but asked for extra toppings, wedges were good but not as good as previous Blue Zenzer. Menu is limited compared to before. Please bring back the original blue zenzar and get rid of the American side of this restaurant

The menu needs some work. Used to be quite extensive previously but now very limited. A nice cosy set up otherwise.

Amazing cocktails but the food was not satisfactory. I had visited this place a couple of times before renovation and that time the food was much better. The ambience is perfect though and staff is friendly.

Could be a lot better with the burgers.
