Blue Ginger in Hillingdon

Regular customer at blue ginger, since changed to kitchen only, food is not the same unfortunately, chicken was over cooked with vindaloo witch made it un eatable chewing gum , Mint source was a totally different taste and colour, this may be a change of ownership witch might explain it or bring back the old cheif lol

Horrible worthless place. Delivery never arrived and they wont refund me. Deliveroo says its a restaurant delivery so they cannot cancel my order nor refund. Both Deliveroo and this restaurant are horrible. Stay away. Waited at the hotel lobby for an hour. Do not have voicemail on my phone so thats not true. Been contacting Deliveroo since 23:00 with no help from there side.

Tarka Dal tasted awesome as requested. I ordered Tika Chicken, Tarka Dal, Rice, Tandoori Roti, and other things. Although everything tasted a really good bit, it was a bit expensive. Also, weird policy for paying via card. To be able to pay via card, your card needs to be addressed to the same address you placed order for home delivery. Otherwise, cash only. For this inconvenience, this place is highly NOT RECOMMENDED.

Tikka Masala absolutely stinks not in a nice way! Rogan was tasteless and chicken was disgusting. Only thing edible was naan and boiled rice.

Portions are tinyyyyy for the money you pay. Save your money and go elsewhere. Awful.

I've ordered from here twice recently. Food tastes really nice, however I was disappointed with some of the portion sizes, specifically with the main curry dish. I ordered a chicken tikka garlic, and the foil dish it came in was barely half full, with only about 4 chunks of chicken. Thought it was a one off, but ordered again last night and same thing happened. As I said, the food itself plus service was great but if you're charging £12 for a dish, you simply can't get away with supplying small portions lke that, sorry. Will try a 3rd time again soon, but if same happens again I'll likely avoid moving forward

Absolutely delicious! Stayed at a hotel near Heathrow and didn’t like the look of the hotel menu. I fancied Indian and I narrowed it down to to this! The onion bahji, tarka dalh, mushroom rice and king prawn coconut curry were absolutely sublime! Fish tikka wasn’t so great. I’ll 100% order from here again!

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Definitely the best local curry house delivery service in our area. And for those who are old school like me, go old school and phone your order over, pay by cash and make sure you give them a tip. Very highly recommended.

I ordered from just eat and there was a mistake with the order but no longer had I finished my starter the restaurant was at the door with the mistake rectified. EXCELLENT SERVICE. brilliant food generous portions would highly recommend ordering from here Thanks Blue Ginger

Excellent quality food. Rogan josh had no heat but the flavour was delicious! Meats, very good cuts. Breads nicely done. Overall very happy!

Tried checking out this restaurant and ordered via just eat, but this was a complete waste of money. This restaurant should not even get a one star rating. May be -3 atleast. I ordered 3 items and hear is my review > Tandoori King Prawn Masala --> This was like a dessert. Too much sweet more than the sweetness of icecream/jam. It was disgusting to eat this one especially. Called restaurant to tell about this, but they are not accepting the mistake they have done. If its too much sweet add it in dessert section. There may be chances that the chef might have added more sugar by mistake but the person who spoke doesnt want to listen the concern rather she told that the dish itself is like that and we have made a wrong choice of order. This is not the right way to accept feedback from customers. Garlic Chingry--> This was too much watery, more like a curry and the item is mentioned in starters. No taste ! it was just prawns cooked with lot of water and onion. Chicken Nugget --> This was stale, threw it with one bite. Not sure how many days or years this was refrigerated. Lamb Chops Starter --> This was too much color with not fully cooked. The meat was too hard to bite on.

Really impressed with everything we got from here on a late night Saturday order for 6. Tasty, hot, good meat ratio and nice mild-but-tasty on the mild dishes we ordered for the kids. Fast delivery and great menu selection too. 10/10 would use again.

Excellent Indian restaurant....probably the best on in and around Uxbridge area. They also deliver which is great. The food is fairly priced, really good quality, authentic and mild (not too spicy). This is our regular Indian takeaway place.

Absolutely awful food. The salad was not fresh, the butter paneer was a disgusting orangey/pink colour (They use food colouring in their dishes and there is no allergen warning on their menu), which lacked flavour. As for the over priced tikka fish starter, it is not worth the price. Blue Ginger will never get business from me again, and I have reported this to the Food Standards Agency. If you don't want food poisoning, don't order from this dump.

As an indian who can handle his chilli I recommend tadka daal yellow lentil curry spicy.

Only given 1 star because had no choice,food turnt up warm,orderd 2 chicken tikka masala both came with no sauce,then had to wait over 30 minutes for the sauce to arrive.what an absolute joke disgusting place and would advise everyone to never order from this absolute dump again.

Outstanding service, delicious food and piping hot on arrivals (had to wait few minutes for cooling 🙂). They delivered my food even tho they were about to close at the lunch time, very much appreciated. Affordable price and big portions too.

Rip off.. ordered vegetable jalfrize...and got only onions and capsicum and rare occasion found couple of vegetables... even the English restraunt are better off...

We recently met to Mr Kamal to supply few products. He is polite and soft spoken. With my surprise I found that blue ginger take away use some of the most expensive brands their meal ingredients. Anyone who thinks take away is just cheap ingredients must change their mind. They infact use best quality of ingredients. I would personally buy their food knowing their ingredients.

Where do I start? So I opt for the more costly option, got to be better portion sizes and taste - right? Nope. Food arrives and I feel utterly cheated. Barely anything served, only ordered 3 items and yet the boxes are almost entirely made of air. I spent £18 on my order and despite not having anything to show for it, it tastes bland. The Prawn Puri (a generous description) was dry as hell, the Bombay Aloo was bland and the Garlic Mushrooms - well, aside of the seemingly three mushrooms served was bathing in a sea of oil. I not only feel robbed but insulted by this order. Tried to call them about this and they could not be more disinterested with my being unhappy with the service. Charming. Want a real Indian? Go to Blue Saffron.

Mango chutney and yoghurt watered down. No taste to the food at all. Personally would not recommend. Ideally no stars .

Called to order from this place before and the shop had very little options for payment as they only took cash at the time. Also the staff was unhelpful and and unfriendly. We ended up ordering from another shop instead.

Order your indian food from here, you will not be disappointed ! Dont get me wrong, the service is not faultless but you will not find another meal as good as this locally.

As a local I just wish it were more consistent, I can only think there have been different chefs each time. I've had under-cooked potato in the sag aloo and the tarka dal has been watery. Tandori chicken/ mixed grill has been poor value where the chicken just been more bone than flesh, bitter and spicing far too aggressive as well as dry and over cooked. I want you to be better then I'll use you more often.

Food arrived after 2 hours and was cold! Staff at restaurant were rude when called...really poor customer service.

FOUND A METAL SHAVING IN MY FOOD

Me and my family and friends have takeaway from here a good few times with every time being quality ingredients and flavour but only problem being is the size of portions and of price per portion so if size was matched with quality this takeaway would be 5 stars

My partner and I have tried quite a big range of things on this menu, and every single time it has been DELICIOUS. I can easily say it's the best indian takeaway I've ever ordered from. Specific reasons why I love it: 1. the chicken is always cooked to absolute perfection, has ZERO gristle and is in lovely big chunks. 2. the complementary raitas you get are such a good texture and always taste fresh 3. nothing is ever oily or greasy at all, and it really does taste like high quality home cooked food 4. there are a lot of fresh ingredients 5. the delivery is always fast and the delivery people are always polite and friendly This might sound like I've been paid to say this because it's quite over the top but seriously I haven't, I literally 100% recommend this to you if you are in the area.
