16/07/2019: This was not just a meal, this was an experience. The service, food and atmosphere were beautifully balanced. The starter of crab was an astonishing experience. The watermelon under the white crabmeat gave a texture of fresh crispness that could not be produced in any other way and the merest hint of fennel a master stroke.
12/07/2019: Writing this, I am more than happy that we’ve already booked for tomorrow night, too, in Twr y Felin. Absolutely stunning! Welsh dining, as good as it comes! In Twr y Felin, every single part ans particly serm to find their right places, with style, effortlessly. Despite having to sit just under the eyes of Hannibal Lecter, the atmosphere is simply sublime! Professional service, kind and gentle, and exactly the right deciration to make you feel like you’ve reach kind of the next level of life! Had three courses, first crab on lemon, excellent! Then lamb, excellent - and one of the very rare occasions when the asparagus really gets a life of its own! So lovely, I cannot describe it. For dessert, the tastiiedt panna cotta ever, with beautiful and fresh strawberries! The wine list in impressive - definitely composed by someone who appreciates an knows good wines. We picked their Nebbiolo, and I loved it! All-in-all, however you choose to asses this redtsurant, the result csnnot be anything but excellent! Interesting to see ehst tomorrow will bring - I’ve already picked my selections, and I know, I eill be surprised. Positively!
