HAD AN ULSTER FRY UP FOR 3 DAYS ON THE RUN. CHANGNG DIFFERENT ITEMS ADDING BEANS MUSHROONS BLACK PUDDING ETC. SERVICE AND FOOD WAS GREAT. THE PRICE OF THE MEAL WAS VERY RESONABLE. WE ALSO HAD A MEAL THERE AROUND 4PM IN THE DAY AGAIN LOVELY FREH COOKED FOOD AND PLENTY OF IT.

Blinkers is a lovely place to pop in for goof value food, well cooked. I had the breakfast, came in good time all tasty including one of those dirty sausages that's never seen meat!!! No fancy flatwhite, but the coffee was hit, stone and did the job. Nice booth seating added to the experience

5* service and food is awesome. Everyone really friendly. We had the Ulster fry and they were bloody brilliant. We will be back on our return to NI.

Got DOUBLE EGG AND CHIPS WITH MUSHROOMS NOT FRESH CHIPS WERE FROZEN EGGS OVER COOKED TGE ONLY THING WAS FRESH WAS THE MUSHROOMS NEVER AGAIN DOWN HILL USED TO BE NICE

Blinkers serves tasty, affordable food and the service is friendly as well. It has large windows looking out on the streets - perfect for people watching. There was a nice cosy buzz going on inside when I took refuge there from the rain :)

Lovely food, great service, really good value. Homemade soup, toastie and fresh chicken goujons all recommended!

We visited Blinkers last Saturday for breakfast and so glad we did. Had the Ulster fry for a reasonable price and a proper pot of strong tea. We went again on Monday for brunch and again very good value for money and friendly service. The decor is 50's diner and is a family run place with a good old school menu. A must return for me next time I'm in Belfast.

Nostalgia drew me in to this Belfast cafe for lunch, the fifties style kindled childhood memories, just love the decor and atmosphere. Reasonably priced, plain food which was exactly what I was looking ...I have diet restrictions so that limited my choice but I enjoyed my meal..the staff are very nice, very efficient with the food arriving very quickly...I did sense the feeling that some of the staff seemed a little fed up but it's a very busy cafe and at the end of a busy week everyone needs a rest day or two.

Nice staff working very hard and are very friendly. The food and drink were reasonably priced about £3 for a large coke and £5.50 for a large breakfast. The food were edible but a slight room for improvement on the food. Overall I would go back again for a quick fix for food, lovely vintage decor which is the reason we went in.

Had to go to blinkers with the wife .went twice in two days food and staff amazing .had the Ulster fry breakfast very filling . Day two lunch had the home made mince pie with mash a roaster and peas carrots, wife had the same boy had a starter which was chicken and veg broth . 10-10

No frills cafe just off the city centre which sells solid cafe grub. We had breakfast there Friday and Saturday when staying at the premier inn up the road. Nice breakfast for £5.

Service is so great - everybody so friendly and food is great. Best value in Belfast and service is very quick. Best hot chocolate too

I chose an Ulster Fry, it was the smallest breakfast, one rasher of bacon, one sausage, very disappointing.

My wife and I always eat breakfast here anytime we are in Belfast. The food is lovely and the service is always with a smile . Plenty of food and very reasonably priced.

This gem nestled in the city of Belfast has a somewhat cult following and is infrequently visited by Robert DeNiro, Chris Martin and Theo Paphitis. The chicken fajitas are probably the best found outside of Latin America, the thick Oreo milkshake is straight from 1950’s America and the famous Mixed Grill- simply an indescribable combination of half a tomato, liver, freshly fried chips and gravy. Worth a trip to Northern Ireland alone- highly recommended. -Gordon

What a fantastic restaurant. Good quality meals and generous portions. It is not fine dining but if you want a filling good generous dinner or breakfast this is the place to go. Speedy service with friendly waiting staff. Clean and well lit.

For the prices I wasn't expecting fine dinning, but the quality of the food is unacceptable, tasteless, greasy, not feesh. Such a shame that around Belfast city center the other options available in a Sunday evening were just fast food chains.

Been going to blinkers for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Great food, great service and the friendliest staff. Best place for an Ulster Fry!!!

If you want to see ‘dining out’, old style Belfast, then Blinkers is the place for you. Will you get locally sourced organic meat served with artisan vegetables? NO. Will you get 5 star service with linen this and silver that? NO. What you will get however is old style, no frills hospitality and honest, well cooked, tasty food at a great price. It’s one of the few places anywhere which has no pretensions, but instead, just does exactly what it says it’s going to do. The mid and even high-end places in Belfast and elsewhere could learn a lot from Blinkers. For locals, don’t turn your nose up. For tourists, you’ve got to give it a go!

Well located in the shopping district of Belfast we found this quaint European diner on the corner very close to Victoria Square. Great tasting food with very reasonable prices. Lots of locals and visitors eat here. Service was quick and easy and the food was delivered hot and quickly. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Forget your fancy restaurants where you come out hungry.

Stopped in here for lunch as the menu looked good. Quickly seated and served. I had Lasagna and the wife had panini and both were really good. It’s and older style diner with good deals on and we both enjoyed our visit here. Would return

Called for my breakfast each of the 3 mornings I was staying at Premier Inn over the road. It is exactly what I expected somewhere for a good fry up or a reasonably priced dinner.

I have no idea how this place has a 4 star rating! The food was cheaply priced but tasted like frozen dog mess!!🤮 AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! (Waitstaff was lovely, but still food sucks)

I've so many fond memories of Blinkers, I've never had a dodgy meal here and you are always made to feel welcome. The Ulster fries are amazing, as are the fish and chips, pasta dishes and toasties.

Vieja escuela tipo caf. ¡Donde ordeñen y azucaren su café y mantén tu tostada! Desayunamos huevos revueltos sobre tostadas (ligeramente quemadas) con café. Había una buena mezcla de lugareños y turistas que desayunaban. Servir el desayuno, sin embargo, no abre hasta las 9 am.

No frills but excellent home made food at very reasonable prices in the middle of the city. Quick service, friendly staff.

Visited a few times this week and enjoyed all the meals we had. Good old fashioned cooking, no frills and reasonably priced. All of the staff were lovely and made us feel so welcome. Will return on our next visit.

Blinkers was recommended to us, and it more than lived up to expectations. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was a really good atmosphere about the place. The service was prompt, and the food was delicious and very good value for money. During our stay in Belfast we went here a couple of times and would strongly recommend a visit.

Me and my cousin called in yesterday for breakfast at bout ten o clock not god at all we both got the same breakfast two sausages two eggs one piece of fatty bacon half a soda and a potato bread on each plate one tea one coffee well over priced at near £17.00 the girl who served us good of tried smiling and the girl who was at the cashier could of tried hiding her tattoos won't be back.

A typical cafe breakfast that just hits the spot. Lovely presented toasted sandwichs, great tasting coffee. And generous pots of tea. Friendly service. Fast food. Highly recommended. Good prices.

Blinkers is one of those places that's been there forever. My granny took us there as kids for ice cream. It's no frills food but great grub all the same. The all day fry is great value.

Opposite our hotel we found this excellent, family run café. It’s excellence was emphasised by its small queue waiting for a place to sit but we did not have to wait long as speedy service kept the clientele turning over. Our order was quickly taken and the Ulster Fry we both ordered also quickly appeared served by friendly and chatty staff.

La comida era excelente, servida rápidamente, caliente y abundante. El personal era muy amable con un gran sentido del humor comimos allí de nuevo a la mañana siguiente. Rather than pay over inflated hotel prices for breakfast we chose to eat local.

Solo tuvimos un chocolate caliente y migajas y natillas caseras de manzana, pero ambas eran geniales. El pudín especialmente, nos recordó la cocina casera de nuestra madre tardía. Tengo que decir que la comida que se sirve alrededor de nosotros también se veía genial! ! Los precios eran muy razonables. This is the type of place you could have went to years ago as a child, a place you may not see in Belfast in a few years time. It would suit a no frills, plain eater who likes standard fayre and nothing too fancy. I like that sort of stuff on the odd occasion. I would give this place 5 stars in that genre. There's nothing fancy about their food or service, but it's an unpretentious place and what they serve is nice and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Pedimos hamburguesa y un steak con guarnición y salsa. Destacar que la salsa del steak estaba espectacular y el servicio fue atento y no fueron lentos a la hora de servir. La hamburguesa no era de las mejores. El ambiente por el contrario hacía sentir que estabas realmente en Belfast. Sitio recomendable

Decided to have a quick lunch here with my husband and daughter since it promises to be a traditional Belfast restaurant. We loved the ambience straight away. It was full of locals and the staff greeted us at the door and seated us immediately. I ordered the special of the week..cod goujons, champ and mushy peas. My husband and daughter ordered fish and chips. We enjoyed both dishes. Both dishes cost £7 each. Will probably visit again during our stay.

Have visited this cafe several times for lunch. The food is very good and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and also extremely efficient. This is a very well run business.

Had dinner here family of four, mince steak pie is delicious my son had the cheeseburger, he said that it was better than Burger King, daughter had a lovely chicken burger and my wife had a panini which she said was lovely, lovely chips massive portions, staff very friendly and helpful really clean highly recommended

My partner and I were up in Belfast for the day and stopped in for a brunch. Our waitress was the sweetest, chatting away and making jokes. We got two sizeable fry ups and two pots of tea for under £10! Absolute bargain and scrumptious. The other diners meals looked fabulous as well. This place will become my new regular during my shopping trips. 5/5

My Mum and I visited Blinkers twice for lunch during our stay in Belfast. Once you walk in, they show you to your table, ask what you would like, and the service is fast and efficient. We have made friends with one of the staff, Tracey, who looked after us very well, and was stunned when we dropped by. This restaurant is a great place for lunch. Would recommend it.

Siamo a stati a pranzo in questo locale. In realtà siamo capitati per caso e siamo entrati perché c’era abbastanza gente dentro. Poi una volta entrati abbiamo notato che la clientela era un po’ particolare. Mi spiego meglio. Ho notato che in molti tavoli c’erano degli anziani soli. Un singolo anziano per un singolo tavolo (alcuni con difficoltà nella deambulazione). Al che ho pensato che il ristorante fosse convenzionato con qualche struttura sanitaria. Poi leggendo il menù ho pensato che forse, molto più semplicemente i prezzi non erano alti e quindi abbordabili anche dagli anziani (o forse non è neanche questo. Non so).

Entrati per disperazione, in quanto tutti i pub ed i ristoranti erano pieni per via della corsa ippica in tv... Ci accoglie una signora con poco entusiasmo, ci accomodiamo ed ordiniamo. Non servono alcolici, ok, ci sta... La carne era cotta a tal punto da far sembrare la suola delle scarpe più invitante, sulle verdure meglio sorvolare.. La cameriera che si mette a passare l'aspirapolvere ed a trascinare tappeti mentre tutti mangiano...

Very popular and reasonably priced restaurant in the Cathedral Quarter. Ideal spot for a recovery breakfast after a late night in the local pubs & clubs. Very popular spot. Old school waitress service. No frills but friendly, efficient and prompt service. Traditional menu packed with `home-cooked` favourites such as fish & chips, bangers & mash etc.

We had a tasty breakfast each morning as it offered a wide range of prices as our hotel (Premier Inn, Waring Street) had a fixed price and I didn't want a big breakfast. Blinkers is just across the road.

Went Saturday morning for breakfast as liked the look of it from the outside. Yes it was busy but there were tables available. We were made to stand waiting at the door, rather than being shown to a table. Even when a group of 8 appeared behind us, there was still no move to sit us down so we were stood cramped at the entrance which was ridiculous. In the end we decided to leave as we wanted breakfast not lunch.

We eat here every time we go to Belfast. The food is really good and the prices are very reasonable. a great way to start the day or stop for lunch.

Me encontré con una máscara por casualidad y me alegro de haberlo hecho. Es un café todos los días, amable, familiar. El servicio es bueno, los demás clientes principalmente los locales, que obviamente han estado yendo allí durante años. La comida es básica, bien cocinada y buenas porciones. Hay un diario especial que cuando estuve allí fue casa de tarta con verduras y era casero. Estaba muy concurrido y yo compartimos una mesa con un muy amable local llamada Agnes. Empezamos como extraños y la izquierda como amigos, una máscara es ese tipo de lugar.

ordered the all day fry you are asked if you want chips or extra fried bread, i opted for extra fried bread, when my food arrived i said to the person serving me are you having a laugh, it was the smallest fry/ meal i had ever been served in my life, it was pathetic, one fried egg very small one sausage one piece of greasy fatty bacon two very small slices of potato bread and one slither of soda bread, i said that i asked for extra bread instead of chips and was told rather nastily that i had been given extra bread, it was greasy undercooked small and served with a very bad attitude, i complained and was told if you don't like why don't you just leave and pay £6.00 on your way out. i did under protest, do not go to this place it is very poor quality, pretty awful from start to finish.

Prix attractifs. La nourriture est simple, pas exceptionnelle. L'ambiance est celle d'un fast food. Le service est très rapide mais peu agréable.

Had an 'all day fry' which was lovely and came with chips. Sign outside says an 'Ulster fry' is £4.95 or something but you have to add on tea/coffee, toast and beans. Nevertheless it was very nice and I would go back

Had an Ulster fry here for breakfast . It was ok nothing special and when you added toast and tea extra it wasn't the cheapest in town ( about £7 each) It was tasty and served quickly but buy some new tea pots with a proper lid please.

Food was authentic and fresh. Hubby had the bacon chop special, I had a blt with a special request of a fried egg, and my daughter had a cheeseburger. All were made promptly and correctly. Quality was good. Waitress was an older Irish woman who treated us like we were family. Would recommend.

Old-school diner with prices that are right. Good to see them still around. Not many other old cafe/restaurant/diner joints have survived with the onslaught of new upmarket joints that only get that way by charging customers extra for less. Blinkers must be doing something right.

On business in Belfast, needed a quick panini lunch and a coffee. It's a bit old fashioned inside but a table was quickly got, hot drinks attained in seconds and the panini were piping hot and quickly served. Not a great choice but what they do they do well.

Went here for a spot of lunch on Saturday 18th June with my friend.Menu was impressive & as we did'nt want a big meal this place in Bridge St was just nice. The staff were attentive & came over as soon as we sat down.Told us what the dish/es of the day were & what drinks we would like.After bringing our tea, water etc, we order the chicken salad & chips which was one of the days dishes.Fantastic, beautiful fresh sandwich es with not just chicken, but ham & stuffing & big fat chips, beautifully cooked & definitely not greasy. My Friend & I ate everything, was quite a lot really enjoyable.Would come here again next time in town & would definitely recommend.

Blinkers is a hidden gem - first impressions are of a fairly standard cafe, but the service and food are really outstanding. The staff are brilliant - really friendly and helpful, the food is freshly cooked, great quality and very reasonably priced. If you want an authentic belfast food experience - this is a great place to find it.

Haven't had a bad meal yet, very convenient if you are shopping city centre, had the chicken fajita wrap with tortilla chips and salad, lovely meal and great friendly service from staff who treat all their customers with the same warmth - highly recommended

I have visited this cafe a few times for lunch and I always get served simple value for money food. There breakfast is reasonably priced at £5.50 and lunch is normally £6.50. The staff are friendly and service is very quick, which is great when your on a quick lunch break. The breakfast is fresh and well cooked. Don't expect a fancy menu or fancy food, this cafe offers simple straight forward food at a reasonable price.

We visited for a casual lunch whilst in Belfast and were delighted. We had a warm welcome and excellent service throughout. Our waitress could not have done more to ensure that we enjoyed our meal. The food was the very best of N Irish home cooking. I had fish with lashings of champ and my wife had the meat pie. Really good! Go there if you can.

I ordered fish, chips and peas. The battered fish was the worst I've ever had. A very small piece of fish was surrounded by a large batter with a huge air bubble which made it look bigger and it felt like it had been cooked the previous day and warmed up. I left most of it. A fish 'n chip shop would never sell anything like that. The plate was cold and the chips and peas quickly became cold too. The restaurant ambience was OK, but food is important too. Never again.

No es un restaurante de comida elegante, ni de comida rápida: pero con mucha diferencia es el restaurante más auténtico que hemos visitado. ¿Sabes lo que es un típico Diner americano? Pues igual. Mucha gente normal comiendo, gente local, un sitio de paso, para almorzar, poco turista y un sabor "a calle" bastante especial. La comida no es para tirar cohetes, de nuevo recuerdo que no es un sitio de comida elegante, pero está buena, es correcta, la relación calidad precio es muy correcta, porque no es nada caro y la sensación de ser un restaurante de Belfast y para Belfast es la que tienes. Lo mejor: su ubicación y su ambiente "real", nada turístico. Lo peor: ¡nada! Salvo que esperes un elegante sitio, pues entonces estás en el lugar equivocado.

We are greeted with the usual Belfast friendliness of the staff. The walkways between the seats are wide enough to get a relater through which is good as I have a disability. It is very clean and tidy. The staff are really great with the regulars and even give a hand to elderly and less able-bodied patrons to their seats. The service is quick and the food is second to none. We get a regular breakfast and believe me, we do have plenty in that. It keeps us going throughout the day. The atmosphere is chatty and friendly and I would recommend it to everyone. Well done to all the staff.

I have been at blinkers a few times recently and generally the cafe is clean and tidy, but to be honest it wouldn't hurt to have a facelift (if u know what I mean) the food when I started going was always lovely, my favourite is double egg, chips and mushrooms with gravy. The service is always fast and the waitresses are friendly. Although the last few times I've been the food has been a little hit and miss, for example the mushrooms were always nice and fresh but now when I get them they look withered and black (not very appetising) which is a pity because I feel things like that let an otherwise nice experience down. In saying that their good points are the reasonable prices and friendly staff so if u come to Belfast or even live in Belfast and u have never been been u should go and try it for yourself.

Dentro nos atendieron bien, a pesar de que la camarera se equivocó con algún pedido nos lo cambio. Como seguía lloviendo nos pedimos unos refrescos para seguir dentro del local, y como se ve que querían cerrar empezaron a fregar con amoniaco, por lo que nos fuimos enseguida, podrían haber avisado de que querían cerrar en vez de tratarnos de esa manera, no volvería a ese local

Blinkers is my breakfast stop every time I come to belfast, they do brilliant frys and tea and you can sit and read the paper. Traditional food made well and priced cheaply.The staff are excellent too, love Blinkers!

Food and service second rate. Extract / ventilation requires attention as the smell from cooking hangs in the air and your clothes.

Good spot for lunch if you're in Belfast. Nice unpretentious meals and quick service. You'd probably need to head to a pub to get an equivalent menu; but this place is better value.
