Came here a couple months ago for a staff party, the food drinks and staff were amazing (despite them being really busy) Every time I come here I have a great time. Sergio and Millie were especially great at making us feel welcome, they were lovley. Bottemless brunch here was amazing too so can’t not recommend it enough.

Very disappointing last night - especially compared to a previous meal years ago. I ordered a cocktail to start but my first three choices were not available. We ordered puddings but did not eat them - the cheesecake tasted of onions. Small credit to the waiter who apologised and refunded the cheesecake.

Arrived at 1845, drinks and starters take 30 minutes. The food was ok. Then waited over 50 minutes, still no sign of our mains. Gave up. Hopelessly understaffed. Two in the kitchen and three out front. Over 50 customers. They tried hard but were always going to fail. Avoid.

Came for a friends birthday and artur was amazing and got us everything we wanted! Spent time figuring out what drinks we wanted and the food was high quality! Xx

Qr code didn't work properly, was just bringing up food menu not drinks. Had one drink which was a nice cocktail tbf, but then went next door instead as couldn't get the code to work and the lady at the bar didn't want to help us really, we were just made to feel like a nuisance. Not sure why they still insist on QR code ordering in 2024, we would have wanted to pay on cash or cards.

Couldn’t buy any drinks because the QR code wasn’t working. Team member at the bar refused to help. We left as it was impossible to buy anything.

Popped in here for a drink after the cinema on Tuesday 16th. The place was pretty quiet as you might expect for a cold Tuesday night in January. Staff putting glasses away and tidying the place to pass the time. We approached the bar, waited a few minutes to then ask to sit for drinks only. The waitress gruffly told us "you ok using the app?" and promptly wandered off. We were less than impressed - even more so after scanning the QR code as instructed to receve a food only menu. Needless to say we left without ordering anything and went to Cosy Club right next door - where we were greated with a smile and our drinks were even brought to the table. Las Iguanas could really do with training their staff in basic hospitality and customer service.

Have visited the restaurant many times with the family since it first opened in Basingstoke, and I am pleased to say we have never been disappointed. It is even easier to book our meals these days by using the all new Las Iguanas app. And we're loving all the great perks and freebies! Today, we enjoyed my son's birthday celebration with a free birthday meal, free birthday cocktail, and a special 50% discount on the food bill. Nothing is too much when it comes to customer service, and I must say the authentic latin american food, excels in both quality and quantity. There is plenty to choose from on the menu, and we are never bored as there is often something new on the menu to tempt us. Finally, I have to thank our server Amy and Sergio, the duty manager, for making my son's birthday one to remember.

I had an amazing experience the staff were great and very friendly the food was amazing as well although I had to wait longer than I expected for the food but it was still well worth it The atmosphere was great it was chill and very aesthetically pleasing

It's a great place, the food is really good. I was surprised at the size of the pudding, I thought it would be bigger (going by cost and stated calories), but it was very tasty. It can be quite loud so not great if you have a diner with hearing difficulties, but we had a good time.

Our Worst Nightmare! We visited Las Iguanas Basingstoke on 20th December 2023. My wife and I are vegetarians for our religious believes. In my 40 years of my life and my wife's 34 years of life, since birth, both of us have not touched any kinds meat or consumed at all. The waiter serving us, made a wrong note, instead of serving us ''Mushroom Quesadilla'', he serves us, ''chicken Quesadilla''. I also ate the whole Quesadilla without realising it is meat as in my whole life I have never consumed meat, so I do not know how meat should taste. So when the final bill came, to our absolute horror, we realised we had consumed meat, and you can imagine the sheer guilt we are feeling until now as we are not supposed to touch or eat meat. Though the waiter gave us 50% off for our final bill, we are not happy at all. My wife came home and was crying. We are consumed with guilt and how to answer to our religion and answer to God. This is absolutely not acceptable. How can we get meat when my wife clearly said mushroom. We are shattered beyond words and we do not know if we ever want to visit Las Iguanas. This has traumatised us, and we cannot convey to you how angry and sad we are. We wrote a feedback to Las Iguanas but no reply at all from them. Our last time we will ever go to Las Iguanas.

Amy was amazing and the evening ran so smoothly

Visited on the 28th of December. Got seated in an area where we were very much squished in to a corner of the restaurant. Waited 30 minutes, no one had approached our table for drinks. Had to call a waiter over who finally took our drinks order. Waited another 15 minutes, still no one had approached to take our food order. Gave up after 45 minutes of waiting.

Office Christmas meal. Service was very slow for food and drinks. Food OK but nothing special. Only one person on cocktail bar catering for full house! Not much sign of Christmas atmosphere. Short staffed.

Unfortunately, the food was abysmal, the attempt at a halloumi burger was shockingly bad and the squid popcorn things were terrible! Mushroom quesadillas were just about passable.

The food is so delicious, great atmosphere with lots of Christmas parties having fun, lovely staff and great value! I've been before and the food is just as good as it was many years ago! The drinks are also very delicious too, as lots of mocktails aren't very strong ,but these were very flavourful! And to make it better they do a deal on mocktails 🤩 2 for 1!

Absolutely horrible. The food was burnt to a crisp. I ordered the steak and halloumi starter and it come out like someone got cremated. The waitress even said it looked unedible. I was embarrassed for them.

Milly and artur were wonderful servers. They treated us very well and were incredibly hospitable to us both. Plus Milly is jacked like seriously dude looks like he can bench press a mountain.

Visited at 7pm, Sat 11th November. Over crowded, Had to be moved from initial table as very large, and loud, party milling around other tables. After 30 minutes initial drinks order had not arrived so we left. Would not recommend until better staffing.

The atmosphere was superb; great music and people chatting. The service was good but at times too attentive and others, not so attentive. The quality of food was mediocre and presented without attention to detail.

Tha waitress that we had last night was very rude, unfriendly and argumentative. We got shown to our seats and after 2 mins sat down we where asked had we chosen yet. We said no can you come back later. 2 mins later she came back asking again we say no we had not even looked at the drinks menu. Even asking normal questions she was answering back in a tone that was rude and argumentative. The acoustic in the place was not good so i could hardly hear her as she spoke in a soft voice. Which made my dinning experience unforgettable in all the reasons. In the end we had to talk to the manager about this and it looked like he understood very quickly what the problem was. And gave money off our bill. The food was good tho.

Unfortunately this Las Iguanas was disappointing. I ordered the spring onion fried rice and they gave me plain rice. I told the waitress and she took the food back to the chef. 10 seconds later she bought it back with a few spring opinion slices on top! That's not how I've had it at other Las Iguanas. For the price, I expected a lot more. Staff were jolly though.

Great food, great cocktails and good atmosphere. Only downside was it took a while for drink orders to come but understandable for a Saturday night.

Place was loud. Dirty floors from where children was dropping food. Slow service all round. Found hair in main course and I got accused of putting it there, even though it was in my partners food and I was in the bathroom when it was served.
