Blackbird Coffee and More in Brighton and Hove

I love blackbird coffee. I like it in the morning and I like it in the afternoon with my kiddos. I love that they have ice cream for the kiddos as well. I do wish they would open up the area by the front window for more seating My son has Autism and likes to sit by windows so he can see outside and everything going on.

A great feeling when you walk in and the service was excellent. Always a great feeling when you haven't been somewhere in awhile and they are like oh I remember your order.

I was visiting for work and found this little gem! I explained the latte I usually get from my hometown coffee shop and they made me a similar version. The staff was so friendly and the coffee was fabulous!

A unique spot with high-quality coffees and fun flavor profiles. It’s big enough to hang out with your coffee or their treats, plus the hours are better than most spots in downtown Milly so you have the chance to get morning coffee or afternoon/evening ice cream. Love it!

Blackbird coffee house is really awesome atmosphere and cool & friendly staff. I tried "Coca Mocha Nut Latte" and roasted bagel with butter which quite unique combo.☺️I will try other flavors too as all flavours of coffee, cookies, milk shakes and Ice Cream which looks very fresh and colourful. Price are moderate and quick bite option. I will visit again!🥤🍧🤩.

Best dirty chai latte in Georgia!

Located on west Hancock st in downtown milledgeville. A favorite for locals and college students. Coffee lovers will appreciate that the beans are roasted in house leaving a full rich flavor every time. They offer many tasty bakery items to enjoy with your coffee. For Starbucks lovers like me who appreciate rich tasting coffee, I highly recommend this establishment. They offer limited outdoor seating, great for people watching or just chilling.

passed through here on a road trip on valentines day and was met with the absolute sweetest staff. Katie was super personable and was definitely dressed for the occasion. It's not often that people have lasting impacts on me but she went above and beyond and I have not forgotten how sweet she was since!

Some of the best coffee in about 100 mile radius. Although they have long lines and takes a bit to get the coffee, it's well worth it. The coffee tends to be international (Ethiopia, when I went) and full-bodied. I got the red eye the first time I went and it was 100x stronger and more intense than flimsy Starbucks. The next time, I got the traditional macchiato (not on their menu), which is something I rarely crave, and it was the best macchiato I've had in a long, long time. Only downside was that it came in a to-go cup and not a cute mug (but it's pandemic days, so I will take safety over a cute macchiato picture any day)

Blackbird Coffee is a great place to sit, relax, and enjoy a cup of coffee, a smoothie, or a shake! Daniel patiently answered our questions and made our drinks perfectly! Highly recommended if you are ever in Milledgeville!

The hot chocolate with oat milk would've been delicious if it were hot. They were out of most pastries and had no breakfast sandwiches. 😔

Great place to go. They have the best coffee, sandwiches, desserts, etc. Their coffee is fantastic and so are their sandwiches. I love the atmosphere. They have outdoor seating as well. Easy to maneuver a wheelchair inside. I definitely will be back.

Had a great experience at blackbird coffee! The service was fast and friendly. Their menu variety was excellent and I appreciated their specialty latte menu. I had their pumpkin pie latte iced with oat milk which was delicious. Just the right amount of sweetness with the taste of coffee still coming through.

The aroma of roasted coffee beans when ya walk in is amazing, it hits ya as soon as you open the door. Absolutely the best freaking cup of coffee that I've ever drank. The atmosphere is really nice as well

Favorites include: dirty chai, iced coffee with oat milk, and today for my (pregnant) 31st birthday drink, I got a large sugar free, caffeine free vanilla iced latte!

Great local coffee shop with nice inside seating and side walk too.

Visually, it's a very appealing coffee shop. Very rustic, brick walls, old wood floors and a great concrete countertop. I'm not a fan of the big coffee chain so try to support local coffee shops. But, I hold them to a higher standard. The coffee has to be better than the chain. Unfortunately Blackbird didn't cut it. I'm giving 3 stars for average. The "world famous" ice cream thing was a big disappointment.

Coffee is great, people friendly, music isn't too loud to be able to work on their wifi. Plus... clean bathrooms!

What a lovely little coffee shop! I went in this evening for a coffee and found it to be the nicest little place. The coffee was delicious and the service was great and I am certainly looking forward to going back the next time I come through Milledgeville. What a nice place to relax and have a coffee!

We took my son to look at Georgia College today and found the coolest place for him to get a coffee and study. Blackbird Coffee is a hidden gem walking distance from the college. The coffee is great and the staff is friendly. My son is looking forward to going there often. My wife says to try a Blender!

On Friday, June 25th my family and i had dinner in the area, walked down the street to the coffee shop about 8:55 pm. My son, daughter and son-in-law wanted to order something really fast. The young lady who was working, immediately had a horrible attitude saying”what do you want”? They placed their order and she began slamming things down and continued with a bad attitude. My daughter walked out. As soon as they received their coffee and walked out, she followed them very fast and aggressively slung the door open propping it up with a block. As we stood there, she threw the chairs on the table by slinging them around. My mother approached the young lady and asked if she owned the shop. The young lady said No, and I know I have a really bad attitude! My mother answered, yes you do. The young lady said, “ I know, and y’all have a great night”! Her tone was so sarcastic and hateful. The shop was very nice and the coffee was good, but I would not go in there again if I knew she was working there. Having a bad day is one thing but admitting you have a bad attitude in inexcusable!

I had an excellent vanilla cold brew here while prepping for a job interview. The baristas made me feel right at home during my brief visit to Milledgeville.

I have been going here for the past 6 years and always receive wonderful service and tasty coffee. The staff is fun and personable. They make your experience as memorable as possible, even if you are just grabbing a quick snack.

By far one of my favorite, if not my number one coffee shop in GA. Their coffee is always yummy, service is fast, and atmosphere is perfect for a chat or for studying! Also, their scones and cinnamon rolls can not be beat!

I have always loved Blackbird! Their drinks are always delicious, the staff is super friendly, it's overall a wonderful experience. Try the seasonal Breakfast in Bed latte while they have it! I think it should be a permanent menu item - it's delicious :)

Nice coffee shop downtown near Georgia College. Nice people and decent prices. My only compliant was my and my sister's coffees were not close to hot when we got them. They were warm, but not as hot as one would expect coffee to be.

I've been ordering from here consistently since the start of the year and I couldn't go to any of the local coffee shops in NYC for some time. They've opened since then and I'm still getting my beans regularly from here. Lightning quick shipping, quality of the beans remain unmatched.

Blackbird is absolutely fantastic. The place smells amazing and really 'feels' like an authentic, not-chain coffee shop. Would much prefer to go here vs Starbucks or Dunkin if given the choice. I highly recommend any of the frappuchinos or my current favorite, the Nut and Berry Soy Latte. Worth every penny.

I was looking for a quaint place to have an online meeting and enjoy a cup of coffee. I left my order and card with the barista to process when he got to it. There were no other customers in the shop at the time. As I was setting up my computer several others came in along with the manager Bailly. She was extremely rude and told me I had to stand in line to pay and that the tables were for paying customers. I'll never be back.

Great place to do work and enjoy a beverage. Staff if generally nice. I wish they would use less single use plastics/ more biodegradables and offer coconut milk, but overall it's a hip place! The new theater is cool for events and good atmosphere.

This is a great place to great coffee and study but they have always been kinda pricey. The staff is always nice and it is a great atmosphere but recently they decided to up the price on a variety of items on their menu, one item being their milkshakes. The milkshake that I get is a large which is the same size as a large Chick-fil-a milkshake is 7, 50ish before putting in a tip. It is a shame because I enjoyed going there but with the increase in prices I do not see myself going there anymore.

Great coffee spot with great atmosphere. This is what every coffee shop should aspire to. Excellent service. Real espresso based drinks, hot and cold. Plenty of seating in a cozy spot. Perfect for hanging out, working or studying. More individual or “2 person” seating options would be nice.

Blackbird Coffee is a wonderful local coffee shop. The coffee is of the highest quality and the staff is so nice, warm, and welcoming. My favorite faces to see when I walk in are Tiffany, Nicki, and Daniel. They always go out of their way to make me feel at home.

This place is great! The team is friendly, the place has a vibrant ambience, love the peppermint tea and cappuccino.

So quick visit to this hidden jem. Double espresso is just beyond commenting. Was so pleased to be here. The keesvanderwestern machine is used with such great passion. Awesome barista that knows his trade and very passionate about his products.

He makes excellent coffee, and she makes the lovely cakes. Limited choice means everything is fresh, seats inside and out, and you can buy the beans for drinking fresh coffee at breakfast.They tell us that they haven't yet been open a year, which explains why we haven't found the Blackbird before

Stumbled across this place and was greeted by a welcoming barista. I opted for a large latte with almond which was around £4 which is a little steep but its a huge size. This coffee tastes great, much better than what you find at the chains. Its a cosy and quiet cafe with a nice relaxed feel. The service is great. I went back the next day for another one!

Soooo...this is my hometown fave! I dont live in Millytown anymore but I never miss a chance to stop by for some fabulous flavor at this coffeehouse! The baristas are fantastic and make quick work of any order. They have many coffeehouse faves to choose from as well as some originals that are defo worth trying! If you are ever in Milledgeville take it from a local that this is one stop you should make!

I have visited numerous coffee shops in Brighton and in my view this is the best. The owner has excellent taste and is a real perfectionist. The excellent coffee is always beautifully served.

Went to Brighton today with my partner and found this lovely coffee shop. Have to say best latte ever. Very nice friendly staff. Must better than the chains Would recommend.

I’ve stumbled into this place by chance some weeks ago. Been back several times since. The coffee is amazingly good and the service great. Looking forward to my next visit when I’m down in Brighton again.

Had an espresso and gf had flat white from here. Had to go back and buy another. Such a nice unique flavour unlike the generic garbage you get from costa etc. Server was very friendly also. Chic decor as well.

Great smoothies, icecream, and coffee.

Nice coffee house nestled in the popular downtown dining section. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy your favorite beverage while working on that next business plan or good old fashion homework. The decor is nice and I particularly liked the poured counter tops and the rustic feel of the old brick and mortar. They offer most of your favorite coffee themed beverages and a few other options for those who have never acquired the taste. I was disappointed they do not serve Turkish coffee or Cafezinho. I was pleased a latte was quite less expensive than that of the big chain places making Blackbird a place I will visit again.

As a coffee gourmet myself, I absolutely adored the Oat Flatwhite Coffee. The harmony of the taste of coffee with a little bit of chocolate and caramel was a joy to my palate. %100 would recommend to my friends.

We stumbled across this little coffee shop, the coffee was very nice, with a good selection of cakes but alas we cannot comment on them. The seating was quirky and comfortable.

Pedimos un cortado, que estaba buenísimo, un sandwich (el pan lo había horneado la misma persona que nos atendió) con Mozarella, pesto y tomate, muy rico y un buen brownie para compartir. Lo recomiendo seguro!

Nice place to hang out for a study session, a nice coffee, or a quick break. Good aesthetic, and a few sandwiches if you're hungry. Late hours are also a plus for evening get-togethers.
