Lukewarm latte and very dirty toilet with the other out of order. Staff look so fed up. First time of visiting this chain and will avoid in future.

Wow, I accept things have gone up, and also things have shrunk - but to have a piece of coconut flapjack that is juts over and inch square (just one bite) is absolutely ridiculous - if you have to order at a kiosk - at least make the image reflective of what you are getting! Disappointed, will not come here again and will not recommend

The location may be the biggest reason for people to visit here, given its location, right off St Patrick Square and outdoor seating that face the morning sun, which is just apt for Coffee. But what I also liked was the variety of options, including some signature ones like the mane lion Coffee. I quite liked my flat white version here.

Basically what it says in the title. Absolutely zero urgency from the staff. Massive queue forming and staff either chatting or looking gormless. Also looks like I’ll need to start taking out a loan to afford take out coffee - £4.88 for the privilege.

Amazing coffee and incredible service. Noticing I was struggling with the touch screen displays, a super-friendly and knowledgeable barista from Slovakia came to my rescue and proceeded to talk me through the menu, even letting me try some of the different coffees available. My visit this morning has made my day!

Not sure about the touch screen order - McDonalds style - leads to people hanging around at the side waiting for their orders, but the coffee is good and the location convenient and plenty of place to sit over a coffee before the day starts to get busy.

I’m getting increasingly frustrated by the lack of organisation in this coffee shop. I appreciate that it is extremely busy but there seems to be no logic to the order in which they process orders placed either on the app or in store. On multiple occasions I have had to nudge the team, who had clearly overlooked my order.

Touch screen service then long long wait to get drinks. Coffee awful. Miserable staff. A terrible coffee shop. Just go somewhere far better and save your money

You order from a big touchscreen like in McDonald’s, which isn’t really the coffee shop vibe. It immediately gives an impersonal, commercial vibe to the place. I ordered hot chocolates with oat milk, as well as a vegan raspberry/coconut flapjack…the drinks were barely tepid, and the size of the flapjack square was tragic. A waste of time and money. I definitely won’t return.

Would not recommend eating anything here. The smoked salmon bagels left a metallic aftertaste, the carrot cake was stale. The cake was readily replaced by staff. Coffee was fine, citrus and ginger infusion was tasteless. Food was ready well before drinks Toilet wouldn't flush. Venue was clean, background music was nice and not intrusive

Firstly, no human interaction option to order coffee - fine I got over it. All staff members looked miserable, long wait for my coffee, only to receive the wrong order. Staff not friendly and couldn’t care less.. honestly never write bad reviews but wow I’d rather have thrown £4 down the drain! Starbucks staff and service is 100x better (and I’m not even a great Starbucks lover).

After stepping off the tram nearby, one of our friends fell and gashed her head. Liam from Black Sheep Coffee Shop came over with a first aid kit and offered help. We were invited into the cafe to keep warm whilst waiting for the paramedic. Liam gave all 6 of us a complimentary hot coffee. We think the staff went above and beyond in their helping us all. Actions like this restore your faith in human nature! The coffee was excellent by the way. Would definitely recommend this coffee shop when at St. Peter's Square. (PS - Have to mention Ian the paramedic who was great too.)

We were drawn to this place by it’s minimalist look. Food & drinks ordered on a screen, our food came out in dribs & drabs, and was served in disposable cups & plates, in spite of us indicating that we were eating in. Food mediocre, prices outlandish, two orders were wrong, & hygiene was very poor.

Visited this morning and was given great customer service by Jamie, she’s a star..definitely worth a oay rise through doing the work of two…..

Came for a light brunch with some business partners, was really impressed by the quality of service and atmosphere, will definitely be back.

Observation over two visits on the same day. Nice coffee shop in great location,lovely staff...but The chain obviously have a policy to give free drinks away to homeless,which is a decent thing to do... However observed was one homeless female actually stepping behind the counter into the staff working area... One homeless guy used the toilet which then was unusable due to feaces left all over the place.... At one point there was six homeless folk forming their own Q inside,one handling all of the treats in the top of the counter... It's a coffee shop,not a soup kitchen...Might sound harsh but other paying customers were also aware and commenting. Sorry Black Sheep...Last time I visit your coffee shop...

Called in to order a takeaway cappuccino after 10 Minutes they said it would be another 20 Mins. Had to leave to catch a tram I asked for refund They said ok and just reprinted my receipt no mention of refund they said wait 3/5 days. Five days have passed no refund absolutely disgusting. So they take forever to make coffee and don’t give refund just say oh yes you will get refund BUT YOU DONT. Just a con to take your money! Tried to call but you have to pay for the call all they say is we are best in Manchester. No definitely NOT. Do not go into this rip off coffee shop!!!

Not too much to say, the coffee is ok, overpriced though, like all these trendy coffee places nowadays. The service is not great, no one will come ant tell you you have to order on the monitors, even if you are waiting not knowing what to do. To summarize, an average overpriced place for coffee...

Everytime i come to this place i aate more than 30 min for a coffe this is the third time happend to me .. they meed more staff to deliver a good service i spend my break time for waiting a coffe ?? I m...
