As always, we had an excellent meal. Mains were generous portions and very tasty (tried the lamb in pomegranate glaze, which was delicious). The desserts are always a triumph. We had seven of the "mini" desserts between 4 of us, but after the ample mains this is more of a challenge than you might think. Left full and contented. Staff were very helpful, all in all a great experience.

Spent a Wednesday night her with two friends, food was really great, hearty portions and really tasty. Good value for money and staff were excellent - puff candy dessert was amazing. Couldn't fault a single thing, great wee place.

The Gannet

14/07/2019: As can be seen from my previous reviews this restaurant was probably my favourite in Glasgow. Unfortunately I’m afraid to say last night was a disappointment, the food was very good as always and the service great. My disappointment is the menu as the only thing offered was a six course tasting menu.
09/05/2019: We had a fabulous meal with friends. The service, food and atmosphere were all perfect! Every course was outstanding with excellent flavour combinations. The caramel fondant pudding.....I will dream of this dessert for years to come!

Bothy Restaurant

19/06/2019: We had a nice, intimate dinner here in the dedicated room at the first floor. Great room, long table and fit for a 16 pax group. Service, as has been mentioned before was great. Thoughtful, yes in kilts and very service oriented. Food was OK, the Isle of Harran Haggis disappointed me, looked and tasted like minced meat with mashed potatoes on top. Whiskey sauce was great. The Lamb rump was fine (again mashed potatoes) and desert lemon & almond tart was really well done. Good stuff.
30/01/2019: Had dinner here with some colleagues and it was great. Rub eye steak was well cooked and flavorful. Fries were good as well. Great atmosphere and good service. Ended up having a great evening here. Will return!
