Love this place! Good drinks and food. Great service. A really great place to sit and watch the world go by

Went for breakfast with my son. Staff are lovely and service is quick. Good food, especially scones and carrot cake.

Been coming to this cafe for many years and it's my favourite in Sunderland. Would highly recommend. Very friendly staff. The Durham BizR is just as good.

Great priced cafe in the north of Sunderland town centre. Breakfast wraps were very tasty and the cinnamon toast was great with a coffee

Nice food and beautiful staff of girls they sweet as sugar but when it comes to have real sugar for your drink they Parsimonious, if they gave you more than one that means you are blessed not just lucky

Pleasant welcoming, friendly staff and nice coffee.

Hot latte was amazingly rich. I’ve tried various kinds of beans and have tasted several formulations of different milk and espresso, and the taste I had at Biz-R was outstanding.

Came here this afternoon for a coffee, nice chilled atmosphere. We got caramel latte, tea and a vanilla with lemon cake and a raspberry and white chocolate which both were really nice. Staff were very friendly and serve us and got our order sorted quick. Would recommend coming here and would come here again.

Always stop off for cappuccinos and pannini, way better coffee than Costa or the other coffee chains tasty and full bodied

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn over the bridge but didn't want breakfast in our room so wandered over the bridge to find Biz R. Lovely coffee and tea, friendly staff, and the sausage baps were amazing! Went back the following day for breakfast again before heading off. We visited last year when our son graduated from Sunderland uni and standards are just as good and we would recommend to all. Lovely atmosphere inside, obviously a place locals love. In relation to Covid 19 they had plenty of hand sanitiser around, took track and trace information on arrival and tables were well spaced out. See you when we come back to visit again in the winter 😊

Came here with the family for a snack and a cuppa...staff were friendly and very prompt...even asking for more milk for my cuppa wasn't a issue...some places you go to.they just moan and mutter under their breath...been a couple of times now and it's become my fav cuppa place...prices are on par with other establishments ...so don't moan about cuppa prices...tea actually was tea and not some stewed slop served from a urn...well done staff! A big thumbs up!

The food was great and there are plenty of choices of food and drink.

Generally very good but there could have been a language problem or a novice at the till today. Otherwise splendid.

After living away from the NE for almost 5 years we were looking forward to going back to our favourite coffee shop. I was diagnosed with Coealic disease a few years ago and this was our first time in the coffee shop since then. Ordered coffees and a toastie for my husband only to be told that they stock nothing gluten free apart from jacket potato. I did not want a hot meal only a snack. In this day and age Coealic disease is not a rare condition and all good cafes etc should stock something suitable to eat. Nearly every place we have been has had something, even if it is a pre wrapped chocolate brownie. Come on B-Zar get with the times! Unfortunately this will stop us coming back to a cafe we once loved.

Coffee stop Shopping in town this morning and called in for coffee. Good service and tasty coffee but for me the venue lacks a pleasant atmosphere . The loos are downstairs and if you are a bit old (72)then the stairs can be quite a chore. Good location

So I looked at the menu and I thought i would go for a breakfast bun with a coffee. The bacon and sausage sandwich was 3.55 and the coffee was 2.05. So I thought ok (expecting something quite special. The coffee was luke warm. The buttie was as good (at best) than a greggs buttie, which is more than half the price. Wouldnt recommend and will not come back

In all of human history, since we decided to drink this black liquid, from plant to ground bean, a bad cup made in Biz R there has never been. We deserve good coffee not because life is easy, but because it is hard.

Smashing cafe. They always seem to have pleasant, unobtrusive music playing whenever I visit. Good cuppa and tasty scones, very friendly and quick service and a cracking view of Mackie's Corner to watch the world go by if you wish. Well worth popping in if you ask me, which if you are reading this I guess that you are. 😉

Really nice cafe. Reasonably priced. Nice outdoor and indoor space. Downside is how loud it gets when blenders for iced drinks comes on. If you are inside you struggle to have a conversation.

On my last visit I complained about the poor customer service when ordering at the till. I had been to Caffe Nero earlier...nobody engages with a queue of customers like they do..brilliant.Much improved service today from Biz-R but it could be a lot better.Send your staff to Caffe Nero on their dinner break..Smile, Speak ,Serve. That's the way to do it!

My husband and I have been going to biz r many many years, the staff are happy and friendly the service is always outstanding, fantastic coffee excellent choice of cakes, pastries, sandwiches.Theres a lovely guy called paul who goes out if his way with all customers to make their visit memorable.I have visited many coffee shop throughout my journeys this is the best one in the world 😀😀😀😀

Fab place great prices great food great staff. No wonder my mother in law virtually lives in the place. As for the previous 1star reviewer being upset a member of staff appeared to ignore them. Well perhaps it was an important call and needed their full attention it happens

I live this place. It's got a nice atmosphere, the staff are helpful and they have a good selection of cakes and things to eat Even when things go wrong I've found them fast to put things right and I keep going back Would recommend it coffees good and you can't fault the place

Called in before going to the Theatre didnt have too long I had a toastie & my husband a bacon buttie & 2 teas nice & not expensive clean quite busy

Everyone time I come in here I notice the same thing.When you stand at the till to be served you are ignored,not acknowledged and left to wait until they are ready to serve you.That happened today,instead of the lad acknowledging you and saying with a smile! I won't be a minute..he spent ages on the phone..sorting something out with not the slightest interest in the queue waiting to be served.Whoever runs the place needs to realise that customers are keeping them in business and should be treat properly and not arrogantly taken for granted.I'll try again but if it doesn't improve I'll not be back.

My favourite place for coffee! Been coming here for 20 years!Really good quality coffees and teas! Snacks are all home-made and taste amazing - I think I have tasted most things on the menu :)Please try the new flatties! A flattened cheese scone base topped bacon, tomato, onion and cheese,delicious!A big shout out also for the chocolate brownies, especially chocolate lovers!

The staff are always lovely. The food is always nice and reasonably priced. My kids love the milkshakes and it's their goto place when out with their friends. Great variety of panninis, toasted sandwiches and homemade cakes. The coffee is lovely too.

Myself and two friends met here for coffee. Situated on the corner of high street. Pleasant little cafe. Staff were polite. Prices very reasonable good choice of cakes. You can sit in or outside. Toilets are situated down a flight of stairs. Ideal meeting place. Well worth a visit.
