Fabulous The food is delicious, I recommend it!! Service too :)

Sour rye soup made of cardboard, pork chop so thinly beaten that I felt like I was eating only breadcrumbs. No toilet for guests!!! Information on the door "out of order". Payment only by card. Unfortunately this restaurant is going downhill. Lack of atmosphere and well-known Polish hospitality. We won't come back, which is a pity because we used to be able to eat well there.

Great place. Big portions. Not just one side salad, but many different. If you don't want to try something you might not like, there are some "safe" options, like different meats with chips and salads. I had breaded chicken fillet with chips and salads. My partner had cooked chicken fillet with mushroom sauce with mash potatoe and salads. It tasted really good. For drinks we had kompot with strawberries inside, which tasted amazing.

Little hidden germ for honest home cooked polish food. Although there's a recent increase in price, the taste and portion are justified for it. Zurek sour soup and sauerkraut meat dumplings are delicious! I'll always eat here whenever I'm in Lincoln.

We ordered potato pancakes with goulash, baked pork neck, and breaded pork loin. The pork neck was 10 out of ten (honestly it is out of this world, so amazing), the pancakes was 9 out of 10 (it was the best potato dish I've ever tasted) and the breaded pork was 8 out of 10. We had to pay first at the till as this was primarily a takeaway place but they do have tables. The staff was friendly and polite (they are polish). The restaurant was clean and the toilet upstairs was clean too. The food came out in about 20-25 minutes, so it's quite quick. We were a group of 3 and the bill was £41, very reasonable. My daughter ordered takeaway from this place a few times in the past (she lives in Lincoln) and the food was always delicious. Thank you.

Odwiedziliśmy Bistro Polonia podczas wizyty u rodziny Zupa Węgierska - wjechała na początek, smak prawdziwego domowego jedzenia Kolejna pozycja - placek po węgiersku - To jest poprostu Petarda 👏bardzo dobrze doprawione , odpowiednia ilość mięsa oraz przepyszne surówki Do tego oczywiście kompot 😁 Na sam koniec deser w postaci Ciasta z Rabarbarem z lodami - bardzo dobre Lokal przytulny , czysty , obsługa bardzo miła , duże porcje adekwatne do ceny Pomimo 2,5 h od miejsca zamieszkania napewno wrócimy ponownie 👍 Polecam 👍

Where to begin! For the price that you pay you are given not only amazing food but an experience. Having lived here for 7 years now, I constantly yearn for the occasion to revisit the atmosphere and food of my childhood and tonight I wasn’t disappointed. The chef was friendly and welcoming, the subtle smells of pickle and dill mentally prepared me for food that was just like my grand mama’s. I will make sure to come back and eventually have everything off the menu!

Excellent food and friendly service 😍😍. Only visited Lincoln for a day from Evesham. Went with my friend, we had a soup as a starter and then pork chop and pork cutlet as main with tatoes and selection of salads. It was simply a memory of childhood mums cooking. Plates were full to the brim and for two people with starters, mains and drinks it was just about £20 But that wasn't all, the chef Pawel - most handsome bloke I've met 🤭🤫😍🤗 Patryk D

Having visited Poland many times over the years, I am well aware of how good Polish food is: always wholesome and tasty. This was my first time at Bistro Polonia though: I took the opportunity to introduce my family to Polish food. Everyone absolutely loved it: great size portions freshly prepared, a friendly welcome and tasty food. We fed 4 adults and a 5-year old for £42.50 - you simply can't argue with that. We will be making this a regular visit for sure! Polish food is Brian's best-kept secret and Bistro Polonia are fine ambassadors for it.

Delicious homemade, authentic pyroghis and cabbage rolls. Just be sure you have sour cream on hand or ask for it as they do not provide it. Lots of food for the price. An order usually lasts me 3 meals. Fast delivery and always correct. The only suggestion I have is to put the different items in their own boxes so it is not so heavy and leaky. Looking forward to trying the other menu items soon.

Generous portions, excellent taste - almost like our Mums (hope they never read it, then I am dead). and friendly service. You must wait a little but that's what's expected when the meals are actually cooked from the fresh ingredients (oh, that sweet sound of my childhood's Sundays - breaded pork chops pounding...). If you have not been there, do not hesitate a moment longer - GREAT food. Highly recommended.

I don't post many reviews any more but this place is amazing. I knew nothing about Polish food before and took a chance on a whim. It impressed everyone at the table, and then wowed everyone again at a bigger birthday meal a few weeks later. The dishes sound straightforward, but they are full of interesting flavours, and really fill you up. Get a few and share with friends!

Great food here, any contractors working up here and after some decent food at a cheap price give it a try. I’ve had a pork lion with bacon with mash potatoes and a chicken Kiev both were bang on, makes a nice change from a chippy or kebab.

Amazing bistro!!!! I cannot express how good it is for the money and its delicious - not cooked in old oil or anything its just purely amazing I wish I could give it more than 5 starts ! Very worth checking out very extremely worth the money as well!

Niestety negatywna opinia. Zamowienie bylo spoznione o ponad pol godziny a jakosc jedzenia byla naprawde niska, zwlaszcza ze kiedys robiliscie naprawde dobre jedzenie (zmieniliscie kucharza?). Jakosc waszego jedzenia spadla przez ostatnie pare miesiecy z bardzo dobrego na bardzo niski przez co straciliscie klienta. Zamowilem u was pierogi z miesem ktore sa poprostu zartem. Plaskie, malo farszu, bez smaku i przypalone. Ciasto w niektorych miejscach jest tak twarde ze nie da sie tego ugryzc (bo poprostu byly stare, nie z powodu podsmazenia) co jest poprostu obrazą dla pieroga. Za ta cene spodziewalem sie czegos o wiele lepszego poniewaz tak zwane kupne pierogi "U Jedrusia" smakuja o niebo lepiej niz to cos. W skrocie - nie polecam, bardzo dluga i spozniona dostawa i jakosc jedzenia bardzo niska. edit: Moja partnerka otworzyla wlasnie druga porcje pierogow i myslalem ze zwymiotuje. Jeden pierog spalony a drugi jakby nadgryziony i wypluty bo nie wiem jak to inaczej nazwac. To juz jest przegiecie...

Obsługa, klimat i porządek na dobrym poziomie Czego wcale nie można powiedzieć o jedzeniu Ziemiaki bez Soli, kotlet spalony (miał być grilowany a nie z dodatkiem węgla), placki ziemiaczane - stare, szare w środku i spalone ..byłem zaraz po otwarciu i wątpię żeby ziemiaki aż tak się zrobiły szare Nie polecam ..chyba że zmienią osobe która "gotuje" Ogólnie jedzenie bez smaku Bylem w Peterborough "U Gutka" ..i myślałem że w Lincoln też mnie miło zaskoczą ..niestety wyszło jak wyszło ;) Nie chciałem się już tam odzywać bo dziewczyna mnie powstrzymywała Nigdy już nie odwiedzę tego miejsca Jedynie co było dobre to kompot i ogórki kiszone ;)

For the second time we are not quiet happy and when rang to say that the food wasn't great been told of by the "owner" Lukasz ! not nice even to speak to.Pancake very dry and hard to bite,hamburger very hard to eat too and baguette-quality very poor.30 mins late delivery and cold.Apologies Lukasz for calling and passing comments :-)

Best polish food ever tried here in Lincoln... Truly a little jewel. Ruski pierogi were delicious and stuff very helpful and even joked with me. Definitely going back!

A great place to eat (and order from). Great tasting food. By all means do expect a lot more than you pay for (prices are extremely good). If you want to take friends for a quality meal after a long day this is the place.

My wife and I happened to be walking by and decided to try the restaurant out. We found a cheery smile welcomed us and the overall appearance was very clean and the menu looked enthralling. We ordered the patatoe pancakes and goulash and we found the serving to be generous and the taste was brilliant. I will definitely be going back there to sample some more polish delights.

I love Polish food and ordered a takeaway from here. I had potato pancakes, pierogi ruskie (dumplings with potato, cheese and onion) and goulash. Absolutely divine, arrived well presented, super tasty and still hot. Tasted just like it did in Poland!

Very good food. Not a fast food by any stretch but pricing is great and you get a good sized portions. Recommended!

Good home made food, prompt service, very reasonable prices. If you looking for a meal which is tasty and fresh this is the place to go. Good value for money, healthy option as your everyday lunch, quick snack on the way from town or dinner for you and your partner too. Very clean premises. Profesional service. Generous portions. Range of soups and stews. Delivery option available (have tried delivery first time last week and it was suprisingly quick! ) very good alternative to your forgotten lunch sitting in your fridge at home while you busy at work ! And this comes in still HOT!!! Definitely recomended!

Has the feel of a 1950's station cafe, and they shouted from the counter for people to come collect their food. Have had much better original Polish food!!!!!

Este pequeño restaurante es de unos 10 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad de Lincoln en la calle principal, así que es fácil de encontrar.La calidad de la comida tradicional polaca se sirve aquí a precios razonables y porciones generosas. Teníamos el gulash con tortitas de patata que era excelente! También disponible desde el menú chuletas empanadas son diversos, salmón, shaslik (kebab) y pierogi. También tienen ofertas especiales y aperitivos todos los días.Yo vivo a unos 50 minutos en coche de Lincoln, pero vale la pena el viaje para comer aquí. El personal es agradable y servicial y un entorno limpio.
