The food here is wonderful! You can chose from a standard lunch (sandwiches, omlettes etc) or have one of the Chef's specials which are always exciting and beautifully prepared- all at £5 or less. The outside area overlooks the golf course, which is nice and peaceful. We have just started using the conference room for lunch meetings/small corporate events too and the staff are friendly and very accomodating. You will not find anywhere better to have lunch in Dagenham- trust me I've tried!!

My colleague and I enjoyed a lovely meal, a large section of cakes, the main issue is trying to decide which homemade cake to choose.

Its like sitting in an old fashioned book shop in a nursing home with OAP chairs, a broken piano (shame), lots of antique old furniture and books to read. A quaint place. Coffee and sandwiches a bit expensive, starting from £5. Coffee £3

I came in for a late night drink and was one of the last customers of the evening. Owner was the best. Gave some samples of local brews before I put in an order. Super accommodating and personable. Highly recommend.

Lithuanian chicken kebab should be called lithuanian veggie kebab. Trace of meat, size of bread crumbs sprinkled over the salad in a pancake. Same salad as a side and chips and all from Dagenham branch. Shame, as looked tasty, though it was not enough to feel that taste

My wife and I saw signs to this near the Ibis Hotel in Barking so tried it instead of the expensive, unispired Ibis breakfast. For £9.10 we had two incredible meals (£8,95 each at Ibis) - perfectly cooked by a friendly chef who saud she had taken over the business just a month ago. We would certainly return, especially as it's en-route to the Excel Centre (by North Circular) and close to hotels that charge extra for breakfast. It even has easy free parking!
