Bistro Live in Nottingham

Had a fantastic night at Bistro live Nottingham. Food was great and the staff are amazing. The staff make the night. Only downside, drinks are quite expensive. But definitely would go again.

We had a fantastic evening at Bistro Live for the 00’s night! It was great value for money - a 3 course meal with entertainment for £17 a head (drinks not included). The staff were very friendly and explained very clearly how the service worked. We were impressed that we didn’t need to pre-order our meal choices and that our food and drinks were served quickly and all at the same time. The food was delicious (especially the free nachos that were bought to the table on arrival). We had lots of fun taking part in the music quiz before dancing the rest of the night away on the tables. It was a brilliant way to celebrate my friend’s birthday - a fab night thoroughly enjoyed by all!

Same dj set as usual... boring same songs. Bistro is a creature of habit and needs to come into 2024 not 1998

Packed to the rafters, clearly a popular venue. How the staff coped I don't know, but they did - with a smile. Very friendly and professional team. Food delicious, good band, what more do you need for a good night out?

Visited 2022 and 2023. Both nights were great . Will be coming back in 2024.

I didn't dance on the tables, but it was fun watching others do it. Great atmosphere

First time I've ever been to Bistro Live so I didn't know what to expect. We went for a Christmas work do and tbh I had a really great time. Everything is in there so you don't need to leave and go somewhere else. We had food, played a little quiz and then danced and partied till 1am. There's music playing all through the evening, the staff were all super friendly and approachable. And a added bonus is you can dance on the tables and chairs. I will be recommending this place to my friends and coming back soon.

Good night , for my friends birthday .There was a big group of us .Room feels quite outdated and not as clean as it might be , but on the whole a decent space for a good night out. My drinks order got mixed up with someone else's ( I was at work the next day so couldn't drink heavily) I ordered raspberry and peach gins singles , ended up paying for doubles which was annoying only realised when I looked at my account the next day , so watch out for that! Great for a group of friends ,for a night of fun, dancing and decent food.

So lauded, to many parts groups and no space for dance.. Dance on the table it's bad ideas mostly after alkohol.

Great food ,great staff ,brilliant night all t together a great experience shared with great friends,fully recomend the night.

Although I've been to Bistro a few times it's always been a fun night the staff are lovely and helpful and it's always fun to be able to wave a flag to get table service. The cocktails are ok not the best but not the worst either, the food was nice the empty plate speaks for itself, but what really makes the night good is seeing the staff get up and dance with everyone and seeing them enjoy themselves too. Also a big thank you to a guy called Vic who helped my niece when she cut her foot on glass He was awesome and even came and said goodbye when we left.

I visited Bistro Live for a hen night we had a great night, the staff were amazing not only did they provide great service but they also joined in with the fun. The atmosphere was brilliant.

Went for our work xmas due. Fair credit to the staff - I honestly could not do their job - but they handled everyone well, were attentive, hands on, friendly and fast. The food was the biggest surprise. I’m coeliac and the food was incredible.

My second time coming last week ( 18th November) and I was really disappointed with the evening I had. My first experience was so good and I loved it that’s why we booked again. But I found my second time not as good, firstly it was absolutely rammed, you had put that many people in there it was ridiculous our table was that squeezed into the corner I felt like we was sat on the people behind us knee it was ridiculous. We was sat right next to the staff only door and the amount of people who keep going in and out meant everyone had to move to let them through as u had squeezed the table so close to the door, people trying to go through the door when we was eating too. Secondly because we was sat in the corner no one seen his waving for a drink and no one came over asking for to take group pic of us all but was going to other tables. The music was rubbish compared to last time and hardly any Xmas music to say it was Christmas classic event. Really disappointed not sure if I would return no.

What a night out we've had, Bistro Live will certainly never be forgotten, the whole evening was centered around everyone having the best time, staff were absolutely amazing and catered for all our needs, food excellent, table top dancing something not to be missed, thank you Bistro Live for such a wonderful evening.🤗

I went to Bistro Live for a 30th birthday celebration. It was meant to be a night of cheese, but I found the music to be a little generic. It was disappointing that some of the best cheesy tracks were played towards closing time, I think they were needed sooner to get the night started. I didn't expect much from the food, but it wasn't enjoyable. The starter, main and dessert were all very rich. The options seemed odd considering people were drinking/dancing afterwards. The time between arrival and the DJ starting his set was very long. I understand that this was to allow time for the food to be served, but it deflated the night waiting around. It was also difficult to talk to your group over dinner because of the long, narrow table set up. Despite the above, dancing on the stage/tables was fabulous. I love that the staff also join in for the cheesy dance routine songs. They definitely help make the party vibe. Bistro Live is a good, easy party spot for a large group, but personally it wouldn't be my first choice.

Great for parties, the food was actually quite nice, which i was surprised at, good portions. The whole dancing on furniture was an interesting aspect. The staff was really really nice and welcoming they really made the place. The sticky floors did make the chairs difficult to move around.

This place offers so much,Music,Bingo,Dj,3 course's of Food,plenty of drinks from cocktails,to beer,air con and it's cold well needed in the summer to relax and enjoy your night,dancing on the table and shots all through the night too also if you want.

Brilliant fun night out. This place is just a good night out. Drinks are good value and the staff always seem happy to help. Food is basic but always fresh and nicely cooked which is great considering the numbers they are cooking for.. Everyone who comes are happy to dance and let their hair down. Keep up the good work

Really impressed! We went for my mums birthday and the atmosphere was fantastic. They make it special and fun for all ages. Staff really make an effort, so thank you all for making my mums birthday so much fun

Used to love this place but drinks are so expensive it kind of puts you off especially when they're charging over £15 for a £5 bottle of wine 😳 maybe there needs to be some good offers or something to make it more appealing!

Amazing time had by all. Staff were brilliant. As soon as the flag was in the air, they were taking your drinks order. They also get involved in the dancing. The 3 course meal was very tasty as well. This is a must go venue. Can't wait to go back.

The food was a lot better than when I have been in the past. Its very much a party atmosphere so for a 65th birthday (not mine) it might bot have been the best. The main issue was we were advised that there would be around 50 people due to covid but there was a lot more there.

We all had a brilliant time here for a combined hen do and 30th birthday party. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and shown to our table where the waitress explained the ordering process and checked if we wanted to open a tab or not. Our drinks were served quickly after serving. I was happy with my first two courses - vegetable soup and the two bird roast. The portion sizes were good and they were full of flavour. The desserts let the meal down and none of us enjoyed them. The entertainment was fabulous. I was a bit concerned that it wasn't going to be a good night when I noticed how few customers there were compared to pre-covid times however every single staff member went out of their way to get the party going. They honestly couldn't have done a better job of entertaining us and definitely earned their money.

Not impressed with their cancellation policy. They only give a credit , not refunds , & only then if the whole group cancel due to covid . Now the fast moving omicron variant is ripping through society in general, and Nottingham, the venue where our group was booked in has one of highest non take up of covid vaccination in uk . There policy gives no consideration for individuals who are vulnerable. I decided not to attend on Saturday 18th Dec as my wife had just finished radiotherapy treatment 6 weeks ago and felt extremely nervous Bistro Live had not updated their cancellation policy to account for massive changes in infection the rates , up from 35- 40,000 a few days prior , to nearly 95,000 , 2 days before our party date . For example, no covid pass or evidence of vaccination needed because their capacity is below 500 people . Hiding behind vague government guidelines is not acceptable and they have to do more to keep customers safe .

Great place to organize parties 🎉 They open from 7pm until 1am We had a great evening out to have fun and some dancing. The staff is very friendly and efficient throughout the evening Food is delicious, well prepared and good value. Drinks 🍹 are good! They do have some great weekends theme nights to celebrate any occasions. Would definitely visit again Keep up the good work guys 👍🏻💯

I went here last night for a friend's hen party. The food was beyond amazing! So much flavour and amazing size portions. The atmosphere was absolutely electric and it was made even better by the extremely accommodating staff members who was not only friendly but also sensational Dancers as they was not shy to come and join in dancing with the customers once everyone has had their food! I would highly recommend to anyone that they should try bistro live!!!

Good fun atmosphere. Food was lovely to say they cater for so many in a short time. Also accommodated my food intolerances very efficiently.

We last came for a night out before boris closed everything but we were regulars, you'd even give us cushions to sit on as we'd moan about being uncomfortable All the staff are lovely and are never annoyed with the amount of times we wave our flags.So excited for you to open again

Never again we paid £100s for a party here but due to covid business obviously is shut they refused to give money back for a service that was not received!

Booked for my best friends hen do for April 2021 obviously cancelled due to COVID but we had already paid a fair amount when we first booked, emailed them to ask for a refund which we where refused. Informed them they where breaking the COVID law for refunds but they don’t seem interested. Will be taking this further and never ever using this company again!
