Bistro Live in Milton Keynes

Went for the St Patrick's Day event and left after picking at the main course. Food was terrible and it must have been the same playlist they'd always use because there wasn't a single Irish / St Patrick's Day track. Total farce.

Had a fabulous night here for my sister's hen do. The staff were absolutely brilliant - nothing too much trouble for them and they really seem to enjoy what they do (a job that includes singing and dancing with the punters!) The food was a real surprise - I didn't have high expectations (especially as vegetarian and vegan chooses can be pretty poor) so the fact that everything was tasty, well thought out and HOT was marvellous. The DJ played music that got everyone singing and dancing, and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. I took a star off as the chairs were pretty uncomfortable after a couple of hours of sitting, but that might be to encourage you to get up and dance, and the alcohol-free choices were a bit boring.

Good place to go for a night out for a family meal. If you want to end up in hospital after getting attacked by travellers. No security.

First time I visited was 10 months ago and I've now been back 5 times already. Great place, super atmosphere. Food and staff are wonderful.

What a night! Beautiful food, attentive staff and all round great atmosphere. We loved the fact the staff get involved in the dancing and fun and the food was of such high standard we could have been at a * restaurant. Special thanks to Darcey and Tiffany!

We had booked a table for some mum's to get together and have a well deserved night out. I had been before and knew what to expect but last night exceeded my expectations. The food was tasty well presented, music was great and the atmosphere with the music Bingo was so much fun. Roberto and the team were fabulous and encouraged everyone to have fun. We will be back

Had a wonderful night out, service was excellent up to high standard, especially a waiter called Kerri. She always had a smile on her face and nothing was too much to ask for. recommend for anyone who wants a fun night out!!!!!!!!!

What a robbery for 3 course meal . 1- Starter was Aaaafuuull. 🤮 2 -Main meal was sickening 😩 3- The desert was shouting diabetes type 123456789 very cheap Costco surgery dessert . 4 -The drinks are very expensive compare to other places . 6 -The place looks tired, uncomfortable chairs,prison looking long dining tables and very crowded . 7- For £40 to £50 per person you can have the best 3 course meal with great beverages in the best restaurants in Milton Keynes . PLEASE AVIOD THIS PLACE 🙏 😢

Brilliant food, brilliant atmosphere and the service was spot on. You get a flag to hold up when you wish to be served and all of 5 seconds after putting the flag up there is a server by your side. Surprisingly cheap, we spent £260 for 7 of us. My only issues are that there wasn’t the best choice of drinks, no redbull or other type of energy drinks which I have with vodka. The music could have have been better in the sense of decades. A lot of it was from the 80’s. But besides them, very good night out and I would definitely recommend it.

Awful band and DJ. Ideal if you don't listen to music. Food average and poor choice of beers. Brilliant staff though.

This place? Is nuts! These guys? Are nuts! Not a venue for tea totallers (unless you're unlucky enough to be the designated driver) but for everybody else - have fun! Go mad!

Another brilliant night of fun with fantastic food!

Fab night out I have their twice and booked again for February. Great atmosphere and dance all night on. Love that you have a flag to ask for drinks they come to you very promptly, it was a fantastic night and definitely recommend for ant occasion.

Really disappointed that my son was subjected to homophobia by a member of your staff. It’s 2023 and times should have moved on by now. He did speak to other staff and I believe the member of staff was spoken to but sorry I shouldn’t be taking calls at midnight from my son who is literally distraught when all he wanted was to enjoy a birthday night out like everyone else.

Great fun for a night out..good food, entertainment and music...the staff are full of energy and enthusiasm too..Drinks slightly pricey but overall great experience...would go again x

Great place...New menu which was sooooo delicious...service was amazing, the staff could not have been more attentive and fun...we had a very lovely young man called Jordan looking after us...he was amazing! TAKE THAT Tribute Act that night...such a laugh! Thoroughly enjoyed xx

I wanted to express what a wonderful second visit myself and my friends had here last weekend! Roberto, the general manager, along with the lovely waiting staff Inc George and Alayna, looked after us SO well!!! We had the Club anthems night and once I gave the DJ a little nudge, he certainly played what we loved!! The food was ABSOLUTELY incredible! Didn't want it to end! Great value night and so much fun! Recommend for any occasion and we're looking forward to returning again soon as we can!! Thank you to Roberto and all of the team for another fantastic night!!

Not really my cup of tea, but if you're looking for cheesy music, uber sweet cocktails, a weirdly chaotic multiple hen dos atmosphere this is the place for you, so you may want to take my review with a pinch of salt. I will say it is very expensive for what you actually get. Due to dietary restrictions I ended up forking out £60 for the meal, and was only able to have vegetable soup that had a suspiciously porky flavour too it, a bowl of pasta with a tomato sauce and some sorbet as dessert. With so many people with allergies or choosing not to eat meat now, was disappointing not to any other options at all. The other disappointing thing being that somebody had seated another party at our table before we arrived who had already started eating the "nibbles" and the jugs of drinks we'd pre-ordered, no problem, mistakes happen, but we shouldn't have had to ask for these items to be replaced. All things being said, we did have fun that evening, even if there were things that weren't all that good.

Had a great night out, amazing atmosphere. Food was a little hit and Miss though. Would still return as it’s such a vibe. They did a great Hen Do package which totally made my sisters night. Lovely to walk in and see it all set up for her.

Brilliant might out. Food was brilliant and service was excellent. However the Abba tribute were awful. Like they were doing karaoke. Would return but not for ABBA tribute night.

Had my hen do here last night and we all had the most amazing fun night! Couldn't have asked for better. Each and every staff member went above and beyond.

Came here with friends was my first time and thought it was great place I would have enjoyed myself a lot more then I did if I wasn't hungover (my own fault of course) the atmosphere was brilliant a mixture of young and old music for everyone great food and brought out promptly & good drinks selection as well and all table service, would come back for sure

Bistro Live is a fantastic night out! We went on Saturday for a Hen and from the moment we booked Molly was fantastic so accommodating and so helpful! Even prior to the night I had the General Manager Robert give me a call just to see if we had any questions etc. On the night the staff were brilliant so accommodating, huge smiles on their faces and joining in with all of the dancing!! You can tell they just love to be there and join in with all their guests! All the while their service being second to none. You barely had to wait for a drink or someone to come over. Even the security were brilliant taking photos if you asked for their help. I definitely would not hesitate to come back or book another party with Bistro Live - such a fun and brilliant night out. Food was great and they were hot on dietary requirements. The service was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Thank you Bistro Live Milton Keynes for an amazing night out!!

Great fun. Staff were attentive and engaging. Food was pretty good considering the volume that was being catered for. Atmosphere was fun and energetic, with everyone taking the same inclusive approach.

I've not been to bistro live for a number of years and just how I remembered it. Everyone who goes, tends to all go for the same reason - to have a good time. Great for big and small parties to let your hair down. Good to see it still in business

Not really my cup of tea but there is a great atmosphere. Food is ok but it takes ages to get everyone fed. Some tables were eating pudding as we were being served starters. Not the fault of the staff, just the amount of people to be served. The service very good with lots of staff around to take drinks orders. The band were entertaining although their singer wasnt that great but got everyone up and dancing. Over all

I am from Germany and I liked the party 🍻 🥳 in Bistro Live. The service staff was very friendly, attentive and fast. The food was okay. If you like Jägermeister, please be aware of the fact that it is not the original that you get there. Heineken beer was good.

Can be a great night, or it can be an OK night. Depending on the company and how many people are there. Had both. also a really bad smell coming from air con at back end near kitchens.

Food is very bad here . Not much options for vegetarians or vegans , apparently even non vegetarian dishes were pathetic too !! Service was good , no complaints regarding that . Atmosphere is average . I don't suggest any this place as food was worst !! Goat cheese was yuck, starters were yuck !! Dance floor was good. Drinks are very diluted and expensive too, totally the place isn't worth visiting !

Great evening, staff were amazing and accommodating to my wife who is pregnant, they put us at the edge of the room so she didn't get knocked by other tables and brought her out a non alcoholic shot as way of a celebration. food was good and the DJ kept it nice and lively.

Amazing night for my birthday the staff were brilliant and so welcoming only down fall was the security guard was telling me to get off the table when the staff and DJ ok'ed it. Other than that it was and 5* night DJ was amazing to 😊 definitely will be going again soon

Fantastic place! I visited with my daughter and her Hens on Saturday.Can't speak too highly of it. Delicious food,attentive , friendly staff, amazing atmosphere and live music. I'd return again tomorrow if I could .I know all my daughter's group feel the same. So glad we came

This place was absolutely fantastic love dancing on the tables the food was magnificent the entertainment was great and all staff were friendly and helpful and even joined in that made it even more of an experience definitely coming again this made my hen party and ultimate hen party to never forget

Really quite different. Good points are that it's obviously well run. Staff were very efficient but friendly at the same time, well organised and thought out. Food was ok and came out hot which is a feat in itself as there are so many people to feed at the same time. Music was good and varied. Drinks weren't too overpriced and table service again was well organised. A really good venue for a group celebration. Not really a couples place. Only poor points were tables are a bit crammed in with not a lot of space between. Once the food is done and dancing starts there isn't a lot of room to move. I know dancing on tables is encouraged but it's a long way down once a few drinks have been consumed. Also was a bit of a tough one to find, all the other places were signed but not Bistro Live, we walked all the way around to the opposite side when we could have walked through the building... Overall a good place to go with a group. Food was ok and drinks nit overpriced too much. Would I return, yes with mates. Well done Bistro Live....

Fantastic place everyone had a great time

It's an ok venue. Food is ok, unless you are a vegetarian, then it's not great. Music was a bit what you would expect in Butlins and deco was channeling cheep caravan holiday too, otherwise it was ok 😆

Had the most fabulous night here on Friday....the food was lovely the staff were amazing! Big shout out to Harry (nicknamed 'H') who served us and danced with us. I would highly recommend this for all ages. Great time had by all 5 of us will definitely go back.

Myself & my friends visited Bistro Live in Milton Keynes on Friday 4th March to celebrate my 30th Birthday. Honestly, 5 stars all round. It was the best night ever! We all had the best night. The staff/team at Bistro Live were absolutely amazing! Could not fault anything about them. They really made my Birthday one to remember! The food was delicious too! Top points to the chef. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to each & every one of you for making my Birthday the best!!

10/10 went valentines weekend for Hannahs 21st absolutely amazing. Our server Georgia was the best will be back

Brilliant night filled with a 3 course meal, jugs of cocktails and music picked by the customers so everyone got a bit of what they fancied. They also squeezed in a quizz and dancing on the tables.

Had a brilliant evening here last night. 3 course meal was freshly cooked and really tasty. Drinks available from the wave of a flag to the waiting staff. Plenty of dancing and an all round good time. Perfect for all ages. Highly recommend going to one of their events. I'll hopefully be going again (and again)

Music too loud to be able to have a conversation while still eating, watered down drinks that had barely any alcohol in it. Too many tables and no room for dancing. Nice food though.

Much better than I expected. Like being at a wedding where everyone is your drunk aunty. Food was good, not great, but for the price was worth it. Music was great, cheesy, fun and you could really dance to it.

The food was good, the staff are really lovely, polite, friendly, chatty and created a good atmosphere and got people up to . The music wasn't all that.

In March :Really great party atmosphere and music , great food , dancing , didnt want the night to end! But went for a Christmas party in December and it wasn’t so good , very disappointing , there was no dance floor as they’d crammed too many extra tables in ! We were confined to our table it just wasn’t the same and rather claustrophobic
