Friday night meal and cocktails with a friend, from the moment we arrived the service was excellent. Food was fantastic, and great gin cocktails. Great night out at Bistro Este, highly recommend.

Havana Bank Sq

23/11/2018: We were referred to this restaurant by a gentleman at a nearby bar (which was a little too noisy for us), and it was a nice upgrade. The atmosphere is upscale and cozy, and the service is very attentive and very friendly. My wife and I shared the Salt Baked Beetroot (fivemiletown goats cheese/ balasamic cavier) and a Rocket Salad with Parmesan Cheese, both really fresh and tasty. My wife had the Hannons Delmonico Steak (braised onion/ triple cooked chips/ bernaise which was very tasty, and I had the Mushroom Risotto, which was delicious. We paired with an unoaked Chardonnay for her, and a glass of Bushmills Black Whiskey for me (very nice). All in, a very nice dinner.
16/10/2018: We were a party of six visiting Belfast and stopped here for an evening meal on recommendation from the locals. Lovely decor, warm and comfortable. The food is fresh and tasty and with good portions. It is not the cheapest restaurant, however it is quality so you get what you pay for. Our waitress Roisin was very accommodating, friendly and patient, with a lovely personality. Great all round

The Hoose

19/01/2019: A great wee gem at the Holywood Arches and perfect for a Thursday night meal. We've taken friends and family here over the past couple of years and it's superb value, quality food and a personal touch. Food is locally sourced and you can BYOB or order off the menu.
03/02/2019: We were shown to our table upstairs at the window which we loved. The waiter immediately brought water and opened our wine for us. ( the Hoose is licensed but you may bring wine and pay corkage) The menu looked interesting though a couple of things were unavailable. I started with the Brie which was delicious followed by the very generous cod on potato Rossi with broccoli. My cod was marginally over cooked but I really enjoyed. Our group of four all enjoyed the food...the seafood chowder got top marks! Great atmosphere in the restaurant. Super value (£16.50 for 2 courses) and friendly staff.
