What a great pleasure to have such a super restaurant near to me. Service superb with helpful knowledgable friendly staff. food always cooked to order and beautifully presented. fairly priced menu and good selection

My partner and I are here on our recent visit to the New Forest and we were not disappointed. Waiting staff were of oriental origin and the food seemed authentically Thai. Staff were attentive and the atmosphere very good. The food tasted simply beautiful and well presented. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very tasty food, served in generous portions. Menu choice could be a little larger. Service was very efficient - could actually slow down a bit.

One of the best Thai meals we have ever had. For starters we shared Chicken Satay and Prawn toast, then we shared a Green Curry and Tamarind Duck, everything was beautifully cooked and presented, and very delicious. Service was excellent and very friendly, and good value for money. Quite crowded for a Sunday evening, I believe the restaurant has a good reputation. Shame we are not local otherwise we could eat there on a weekly basis!

This was our 3rd or 4th return visit to Britannia Thai, visiting this time on Thursday, 25th January 2024 for 6.30pm. The service & warmth from the two staff members were delightful. Food - absolutely delicious especially the Weeping Tiger which I had and the Tom Yum soup, which my husband had and that, apparently, was seriously hot - a good thing in my husband's eyes! I was particularly impressed that when I asked if it would be possible to have a side ther than as a main, the gentleman member of staff arranged for this and the dish was gorgeous. Today, I had a wonderful takeaway from Britannia Thai. The Chicken Pad Thai was amazing, with noodles that were just right and really soft chicken. The Vegetable Spring Rolls were nice and crunchy, a perfect start to the meal. The food was great, and the service was quick and friendly. A big thanks to the chef, the team, and the manager for a meal that was both delicious and memorable!

actually one of the best Massaman curries I have ever had, Our waitress was marvellous, her English was not perfect, but not a problem, she carried out her job with perfection, she involved her self with our banter and made it a superb evening. We have been to the sister restaurant at Milford, but this was smaller and much friendlier. certainly one to be recommended and on the list for a future visit

So glad we booked, were not disappointed, fabulous ,fresh food very impressed. Had Duck spring rolls, fish cakes to start, then chicken green Thai curry and King prawn koong ma kham, , No 16 with jasmine rice, superb....tasted home made, lots of delicious spice , every bite delicious! We ate here for dinner back in August 2022. We had sweet and sour chicken (not as strong as a Chinese version), massaman chicken curry and vegetable spring rolls. It was all nice and arrived quickly. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant looks quite small and unassuming from the outside. But inside its a great place. The food was plentiful and tasty. Great value for money, and friendly helpful staff. I would recommend the Britannia Thai if you are in Brokenhurst.

Went here with friends, tables were nicely spaced apart and it wasn't crowded. The starters were OK, I have had better elsewhere so that could be better. However the mains were all really tasty, good flavours and portion sizes. Overall worth the visit.

We were very impressed with the menu and food at this restaurant. I chose the salt and pepper squid to start which was perfectly cooked and very tasty. My husband had the Tom Yum which he rated just as highly and he was impressed with the generous portion size.Same applied to the main courses, chicken Massaman and chicken Penang, served with sticky and coconut rice respectively. Both dishes were delicious, so much so that we ate more than we should have and didn’t have space for dessert.The staff at the restaurant are very COVID aware, with tables well spaced and plenty of ventilation. Had a pleasant enough meal here. Duck spring rolls for starter were excellent. Stir fry as a main with sea bass was less so. Quite flavoursome but the plate was literally swimming 8n oil, the coconut rice was nicely cooked though. Friendly service, though I sensed they were a bit hurried. They tried to get me to order every 30 seconds or so after I was handed the menu. Overall it was ok, but I had better meals locally.

We ate here twice during our 4 night break in the New Forest. We had booked for the first night but enjoyed the food so much decided to go again and although they were really struggling for tables luckily for us they squeezed us in.We have travelled extensively in SE Asia and can definitely say that the food is as good as any we have eaten abroad, with the flavours busting on your taste buds. The service was excellent and although they were busy the food came out quickly.I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Stayed at careys Manor Hotel but they couldn't fit us in either of there restaurants so went to the Thai, had great food. Duck in tarmarind sauce. Seabas in a red Thai curry sauce really good would highly recommend this place, so glad the hotel couldn't fit us in

We stayed in Brockenhurst in August, and having eaten here before, were so pleased to see standards are just as high! We had take-aways this time, as we were on holiday with our dogs, and took the meals back to our hotel - both our meals were beautifully fresh, & tasted delicious.

Amazing service! The food on the plate was beautiful! The salad with the carrot and lettuce was amazingly presented and well placed on the plate. My Duck I had was a Beautiful Finish and perfect darkness on the skin.All Round a Comforting Well Serviced Meal!

Found the food to be excellent the staff were very friendly and the service good. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was having booked a table for 19.00 over two months before I received a call on the morning of the booking to say they didn’t do seatings at the time and would have to change the time to 18.30 or 20.00. I would have expected a lot more notice as it did affect our plans for the day

Four of us dined here, having not visited for a long time. Two of us chose Vegetable Tempura to start which was almost inedible due to thick greasy batter - it should have very light batter, as stated on the menu. The others both had Thai Fishcakes, which were rubbery. To follow I chose Sea Bass Pad Cha which was delicious, although overcooked. Others had Vegetable Green Curry, Vegetable Massaman and Tamarind Duck. Having lived in Thailand, I was disappointed.

This is probably the fourth time we have had a takeaway from here and once again it was superb. Authentic Thai cuisine which doesn’t disappoint. Wonderful flavours and generous portions.

We had a great meal there (sesame prawns, fish cakes, red curry and pad thai) 2 nights ago and it was so good we went there again last night (duck rolls, squid, stir fry chicken w cashews, stir fry prawns with oyster sauce). All delicious, with great service.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The vegan options were scarce, i had vegetable stair fry which was small and no flavour, literally boiled vegetables. For the starter i had vegetable spring rolls which were yummy. The atmosphere is very quite and reserved.

I sadly didn’t have a great experience here. I booked dinner with my partner and informed staff on arrival that I had a nut allergy and they assured me that there were dishes that didn’t contain nuts. Then when ordered, I was told that due to my allergy and all dishes being cooked in the same oil (i.e dishes containing nuts/no nuts cooked together), I shouldn’t eat at the restaurant. We had to leave and I felt quite embarrassed. I was surprised the restaurant weren’t able to cater for my allergy, and was told cooking my dish in a fresh pan with new oil wasn’t possible.

During the holiday season you need to book. We visited after the great England win over Germany. On arrival, friendly greeting & shown to table. Large range of veg dishes. Ordered fish starter, excellent, mains of Thai curry also excellent. Everyone enjoyed the food. Highly recommended

We went here for dinner on Tuesday 22nd June as we couldn’t get into to our hotel’s Thai restaurant at the Carey’s Manor hotel. I can honestly say that the food was excellent.They were very welcoming and friendly and helped us with our choices.We love Thai food and pre pandemic used to go to London to find good restaurants.We had the squid, fishcakes and crispy sea bass salad, followed by a prawn green curry and a chicken massaman and rice.The food was really delicious. We loved it all but especially the sea bass salad. We had never had it before and would really recommend it.If we visit Brockenhurst again then we would definitely book to have dinner here again! We would really recommend this restaurant if you want excellent Thai food.Thank you for a very memorable Thai meal.

Popped in on the off chance of grabbing a table and was lucky enough to get one. Tom Yum, Fish cakes and beef salad. All absolutely delicious, a taste explosion, a symphony to the old taste buds.

Lovely food! Really tasty. Comes out very quickly so we started just by ordering our starters first and taking a break in between or we would have been in and out in half an hour!

Had lovely meal here last night, fish cakes to start, followed by chicken green curry with just the right amount of heat to warm me up. Service excellent also. Place was full, so I am not the only one who knows how excellent this place is.

We only had takeaway as we fancied a quiet night in, but the food was incredible and so well presented even though it was in take away trays! I have never tasted anything like the duck tararind, it was insane! Highly recommend!

We dined here when we were unable to get into the Zen Garden restaurant within Carey’s Manor where we were staying. It was a lovely Thai meal... we had the prawn crackers, spring rolls and Thai fish cakes to start, and the red curry with chicken was lovely. I’m not used to Thai food so was very glad to find the red curry not too highly spiced for me. All very Covid-safe and the menu can be viewed on your smartphone.

Went back there for a second time as the first was so good but this time I got chicken satay skewers my 8 year old daughter had one of them before I realised mine was raw in the middle completely put me of meal from that moment I think it's unexceptable for a mistake like this to happen by the chef but thankfully my daughter hasn't been ill I think the one she had eaten was slightly thinner and probably cooked through.
