Very clean, and fun things to do on the property. About a 160 with tax on an offseason night. Blowing drying my hair made the lights flicker. Could hear the kids on the floor above us running around at 5 am.

Nice place to stay. Pool area was great for the kids. Close to outlets and food!

It was our first time there Rooms are clean. Breakfast Was great.

Friday 15th December is the first day of re-opening for the Bird. The pub is not serving food until well into 2024. The building has been completely re-furbished to a very high standard without destroying the original charm of the 180 year old building. Like all pubs the Bird needs your support, we intend to give it and so I hope will you.

Hasn't run as a pub in yonk recently just been a tea shop but I hear new owner s so really hoping they get place up and running this was a good pub excellent food but previous manager Bareilly opened hope new people get this pub up and running the area desperate for a pub stroke restaurant that opens during the day

Fab food, lovely service. Londoners out of town for the weekend found this little gem online. A bit out of the way but we’ll worth the visit. Would return.

I am a Sunday roast snob and have high standards, and the Bird in Hand is the only place I’ve been to (London & Somerset sample area) which has ticked every single box. Just delicious with brilliant service also. 10/10

We took some friends along to this remote little pub on the Somerset levels for Sunday lunch, never having been there before, relying on other reviews, which is always dangerous if you want to keep our friends, however fears were allayed after rucking in to one of the best Sunday Roasts we've had out, huge portions and quality grub. Added bonus is the happy, smiley, friendly welcome.

I was travelling alone and came to this lovely little pub looking for some food and a warm place to rest. It is so charming, and the staff are wonderfully friendly. I came back the second night, and both evenings I had really delicious food. The slow braised lamb fillet was the best I've ever had, and the red wine sauce was simply divine. Such a friendly, welcoming place, I'd highly reccomend a visit and that you try their yummy food if you're I the area visiting the Somerset levels and starling murmurations. Also close to Glastonbury.

This is our yearly treat when we visit Glastonbury! We love it!!! They're Sunday roasts are just glorious. Amazingly cooked meats, masses of veg (you definitely won't go hungry) and delightful service. They never compromise on friendliness, quality or quantity and are very reasonably priced! A definite visit when in the area!!! Thank you to all the staff!!! ❤️💕💖

Today myself, my wife our daughter and son-in-law booked the Bird in Hand for Sunday lunch. What a good choice it was, lovely people, a great welcome, and the food was excellent. Three of us had the beef, and the fourth had pork. Good portions, nicely cooked and all-round great. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. And we have to say - my wife was very taken with the young ladies tartan trousers, and we had a good laugh with her about them, very relaxed.

Conveniently located,friendly staff, great heated pool area. Great place for the whole family. Really enjoyed the theater play, "The Best of Me."

We have been staying at this hotel for several years when in the area. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. Their restaurant also offers a variety of menu items as well as an exceptional buffet.

Worst dive I’ve ever stayed at. Holes in the walls with 1980s wallpaper, mold in the bathroom, no water pressure, rock hard beds and useless pillows, don’t plan on sleeping if you dare to stay there. Very run down old dive hotel with the nerve to charge almost $200 a night. Definitely wouldn’t recommend that dump, it would be better to sleep in your car. Don’t understand the reviews over one star, must be fake or paid.

Good location, friendly welcome, good range of beer and FABULOUS food at real value for money prices. Good menu of up market food slowcooked meats, specials board only so its all fresh. Certainly returning soon. Highly reommended

Took a little family vacation. My mother, my son and I. The room we stayed in was amazing. Front desk was super helpful and nice. Amazing pools. The bakery that is across the street had some of the most amazing desserts. Had their farmers breakfast sandwich. It was HUGE!! Best thing I've ever had. Beds were super comfy. Can't wait to go again

Great food - steak and ale pie and well spiced morrocan lamb. Big portions, most helpful staff. Very reasonable prices, book in advance. Easy to recommend.

I live local and would use this pub more often but opening times don't fit in with work. On returning from a cycling trip I finely hoped to have a meal arrived at 6 pub was quiet but good fully booked,they were very appolgetcic and allowed me to order a Irish coffee and dessert which was yummy . Only ever hear good things about the food here..

Ok motel like hotel. Rooms are ok, clean and well equipt. Three pools which is great. Expensive for what it offers.

Visited on a Saturday night Had a lovely welcome from all the staff. I had steak it was cooked to perfection just how I like it. My husband had the duck this was really good the sauce was one of the best he has had . I will definitely be going back again.

Great family place to stay!! 3 pools, hot tub, playground, small game room, mini golf next door. Clean, bright well kept property.

Of course always an amazing time staying here. We have been coming for almost 2 years now. We go at least 4 to 5 x a year! The pools are the Best also great hot tub! Grounds are beautiful especially the lake to feed ducks and just sit and take in the sunshine. Our favorite spot to break away from life. A 10+ rating from us!

Staff very nice but my only problem was we had no hot water for taking showers I saw a cleaning person who said she checked room next next to us didn’t have hot water . I stayed in room 129 . I called front desk they said would get maintenance . I waited for forty five minutes but we needed to get on the road . I called front desk prior to leaving and told her we ended up taking cold showers and she said sorry. I guess I would expect a discount on a room that didn’t have hot water but none was offered.

My family has been coming to Bird In Hand Family Inn for over 30 years. We absolutely love coming here. The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is friendly, everything is clean and neat. The rooms are pretty updated, and very clean. They have 3 pools (2 indoor and 1 outdoor), and they have a hot tub as well. They have a playground, a petting zoo, the Bird In Hand Restaurant and Smorgasbord, and Waters Edge Mini Golf on the property.

This is a really amazing hotel. Love all the activities you can do within walking distance. And 3 pools with a hot tub. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Great place to stay and so close to everything yet far enough away to enjoy the area... we will definitely be coming back here when we visit this area.

My daughter, 4 grand children and myself checked in July 19, 2021 and intended to stay until the 22nd, however late Monday afternoon we received a call telling us of a death in the family. The front desk was immediately notified and we were given credit for Tues and Wed. When I asked about credit for Monday I was told she would have to speak to the manager the next day. We immediately left and came home, and the next day Tues I received an email from Neil the manager informing that in light of the circumstances he will refund Monday. I have been to this Inn before and I liked it and this wonderful customer service just reinforced my feelings. I hope to make another reservation soon before end of summer. I highly recommend this Inn. The rooms are immaculate, grounds kept clean, and the staff very friendly!

So this place was very nice but a bit pricey. I've had better rooms and didn't pay quite as much. We were there with his family and that's the only reason we stayed there.

This is a lovely friendly pub which serves amazing food. Such a welcoming atmosphere. I chose the honey glazed pork loin, it was superb. Kev had the pie, which was enormous and again very tasty . We loved it so much we booked for the following night as well. We weren't let down then, both meals again were beautifully cooked. Shame we were only in the area for a couple of days. Highly recommended 👌

Arranged a family catch up at the bird in westhay... all I can say is this was the best roast I have ever had. £14.95 for a huge portion of delicately cooked meats and veg. The atmosphere was buzzing, and the staff were all very friendly (Ronnie the Labrador being my favourite member of the team) cannot wait to return!

We were shown a very warm welcome at this friendly little pub and the food was fabulous. The burger was possibly the best I’ve ever had, so tender. The steak and ale pie was excellent and the chicken curry was very tasty. The generous portion sizes were the only reason we didn’t have clean plates!

No senior discounts no maid service unless you stay for four nights restaurant not open on Sunday. Closed for dinner on Tuesday some consideration should have been given to guest who had to take care of towels and room trash ourselves

Great facilities and customer service.

My husband and I have visited several times in 20 plus years. We always enjoy our stay. It is very comfortable and the breakfast are excellent.

Normal hotel room, however it has a small arcade, 2 indoor pools 2 hot tubs, and a big nice outdoor pool. It also has a really nice playground for kids of any age. A golf course for kids, a few animals, a pond with fish you can feed, ice cream shop. If your not looking for pools and kids activities it isn't worth the money.

Found the pub on Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed with the food. Had a meal there and so enjoyed it we booked for the next night too.

Good place to stay, but was not a restful stay. Mattress was too firm. Refrigerator was noisy and froze my drinks. Door would not stay closed on Refrigerator first night. Loved the mini golf course. Did not get to take the free tour even though I called ahead and left message on the time, when we arrived it wasn't the time we needed or requested. It was clean and front desk was friendly.

Great place to stay. Will be good back.

Hard beds & drop ceiling s in rooms public spaces were nice

The check in process is long. Because they only have one woman working behind the counter. No toiletries. Extra pillows and blankets were left outside our door on the floor. Ice machine was not on the floor but downstairs along with vending machines that eats your money. After 10 PM there is no one to speak to if you needed anything from front desk to housekeeping supplies you may need. Otherwise all in all the hotel is nice. Game room 2 pools and a hot tub. Very clean. And using the protocol for COVID-19.

This place is wonderful! There's a lot of activites for recreation, a great restaurant, dinner theater, a lake and a small petting zoo. Our room wasn't that great, but it was comfortable. The staff are some of the nicest people, especially Laura. Will definitely stay here on my next trip to the area. Also it's close to everything.

I've been coming to Bird-In-Hand Family Inn since I was a child. It's a great place to stay, especially for families. The rooms are very clean. The staff is always kind, courteous and helpful. The outdoor and indoor pools are very well maintained. There is a game room and well-kept playground for the kids as well as a beautiful and large miniature golf course next door. Families can enjoy the full Amish dinner experience at the restaurant and smorgasbord next door and breakfast and lunch is a breeze 100-feet away at the Bird-in-Hand Bakery. (Advice: Leave room for the pastries. They are to die for!) All of this may sound like it's too much, too busy or too commercial. But surprisingly it's not. Everything is just far enough from everything else that the rooms are quiet. You can open a window and hear the birds and just relax. All the other amenities of the Amish experience are just a short drive away. Drive through a covered wooden bridge, visit an Amish farm. Try homemade root beer and some Shoo-fly pie!

Best family vacation experience. Amish dining, theater, mini golf, petting zoo, fish pond, Amish farm tour, and much more. I come here annually with the kids.

This place is simply all around nice place clean, clean, clean, always a pleasure to stay there and enjoy the area.

Obviously this is not a 5 star hotel in terms of amenities but it is a five star property in it's class. SPOTLESSLY CLEAN right down to the baseboards and ceilings. It is an older property, but the upkeep is amazing!!, fluffy towel, comfy beds, temperature control that works. Wow.

My family had a fabulous time at Bird-in-Hand Family Inn. Very clean and wonderful indoor pools and hot tub. I'm not a pool person, but I enjoyed the warm pool water. Attentive staff and very kind. Highly recommend this property.

There is no place better. Employees are nice, rooms are very clean and neat. Bakery and farmers market right next door. Pools are lovely. Hot tub is amazing! Kids love the playground, and the animals. Home away from home.

Been coming every year.This year they are not friendly at all.was sitting by a fire enjoying the night.When along comes an employee and throws a bucket of water on it and smokes us out.It was not even late 815pm.why wouldnt he let it burn out.Rooms not as clean as they used to be either.The fire really made me mad though.

Clean, We had 5 ladies in 1 suite and had plenty of room. Great location, close to everything you would ever need and lots of shopping. only reason not 5 stars is the pull out sofa bed was the worst. Bring an air mattress

I live locally and on the rare occasion I have visited this pub iv received a warm welcome when iv had food it was excellent. Desert yummy and they serve liquor coffee. But I hardly ever vist as rarely fit in with my work life...

I went with my friends for a long weekend and can not believe how gracious and accommodating the staff were. The place was clean, I enjoyed swimming in their heated pool. They even had mini golf as well. It's centrally located and there is so much to see and do. I recommend trying "Dienner's" for a delicious meal. A shout out to Debra, Gina and Kadeem! Clean, covid conscious, spacious. Outdoor pool is beach type so you can just walk in. 2 indoor pools and a large jacuzzi. Outdoor fire pit to gather around and meet people Beautiful playground for the young ones to enjoy. Miniature golfing was very crowded, which means it was the place to go for all the locals. Amish people were so friendly, and to see them go about by horse and buggy in this day and age is a sight to behold. A weekend was not enough time. There is so much to do, and Bird in hand is the place to stay while you explore this part of PA.
