Dirty fries were amazing! Ribs beautifully cooked and so tasty.

Great pizza, garlic cheese chips were a nice side too, recommended.

Asked for a box of meat with NO was sent swimming in BBQ sauce

Usually we never have an issue however tonight we were very disappointed. We waited over an hour and a half for delivery and when it eventually arrived they didn’t give a dip that was ordered. Very disappointed.

Delivery took forever. The pizza was extremely salty. Ordered the Caesar salad with an extra fillet and paid £12 for what could be described as a side salad with extra chicken. They stuffed the second fillet in the tiny box so there was barely any salad or sauce and maybe 4 croutons. Won't be ordering again,extremely disappointed.

Great takeaway. Pizzas, burgers and chips. Street Food is amazing.

VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!! Great food. I got a large pepperoni pizza last Saturday and thought the food was that good I wanted to shake the chefs hand. A young lad names Liam heggerty came out of the kitchen and thanked him. have to give this young lad a lot of praise.

Question for Big Al - is the quality less when ordering bogof on a Tuesday... Unfortunately both pizzas were loaded with what seemed like braised onions, prettymuch tastless, little chicken, little pepperoni, tiny sauce - I dont want to give low stars or low review, sort it out boys...?

This pizza place is connected to Bogside craft beer brewery. It is the BEST PIZZA I'VE HAD IN MY LIFE. It's unreal. Perfect light crispy crust, special combinations that are sublime. We tried 4 different pizzas; Cardigan, pickle (strange but my fave.), potato, bbq chicken. I can't explain how excellent this pizza tasted. JUST GO THERE AND EAT. KILLER GOOD!!!!!

Ordered beef brisket, pulled pork, ribs, goujons, peppered burger. The order also included bbq beans, 2 chips and a pizza. All the meat was extremely over cooked and tough. It was like eating leather. Extremely disappointed in the ribs (incredibly dry, flavourless and over cooked) and 'beef brisket' (essentially a poorly over cooked roast beef!). Threw the entire order other than the chips and pizza (mediocre no more than 4/10) to the dogs. Will definitely never return. POOR VALUE. POOR QUALITY

Drove from belfast. The food was ok, portions seemed smaller than last time trying or the old belfast shop..good service just need so more meat on the burgers 👍

Ordered two Southwest chicken and one BBQ chicken, got X3 southwest chicken instead. Also chips were 70% of the kebab. £8.45 each, definitely not worth it.

First class food and service can't fault it

This used to be excellent for pizzas and also it’s burgers and the whole smoke house thing. The manager used to be always there and everyone was nice and the food was excellent. In the past few months however things have changed drastically I hardly ever see the manager there the staff are sharp on the phone and unhelpful. Just recently I ordered a pit burger in the shop when I brought it home the bap was burnt black around the edges and even some of the meat was severely black and dried out. I find this so sad as I had enjoyed their burgers and other meals over the years hopefully they can turn this around

Very disappointed with our pizzas today over cooked and the onion rings were soggy. Won't be ordering from big alls again any time soon

My husband said the pizza was good. I got a burger, it was dry and flavourless. Also wasn't a fan of the chips. Probably wouldn't go back.

Awesome pizza, the burgers are amazing and the chicken nuggets are -by far - the undisputed BEST chicken nuggets I've ever eaten. The garlic dip and blue cheese dip are exceptionally good too.

The best place to eat in the town and for miles around. It's clear the owner and staff take pride in their produce. All the ingredients are very obviously of high quality - fresh fluffy baps for the burgers and thick, honest cuts of meat on the pizzas and in the burgers. There's a great range of food, you can eat to excess or have a healthy grilled chicken burger. The staff are friendly and helpful and the owner is often there working alongside them.

Having ordered a rather simple pizza and garlic bread last night you can imagine my disappointment that it still hasn’t arrived. Professionalism abounds in this establishment in that they take the phone off the hook towards finishing time to prevent any further orders, difficulty with this is that if you have already placed your order but wish to query it there is no means to do so. Upon phoning today to query where the delivery went I was informed there was no record of my call, which felt very like I wasn’t believed. Do these people think I spend my days phoning people to create issues where there aren’t any? Absolutely ridiculous, won’t be back.

Just took a delivery of a Sals Kiev with chips and garlic bread. We asked for the garlic bread to be crispy (as it always should be) and the receptionist said no problem. What we got was disgusting. The pizza was cold, the chips were frozen fries and the garlic bread was a finger roll with garlic butter in the middle - awful (and cold). The pizza dough was also under cooked which I would have thought is almost impossible. We called back to register our concerns and the receptionist was less than helpful. She basically didn't give a c**p. Some customer service. The strange thing is we were not asking for out money back we were just giving feedback but she didn't care. This is only my 2nd tripadvisor review ever and I hope the Big Als owner sees this and takes some action. We asked the receptionist to pass our concerns on to the manager but I seriously doubt that he was informed. Maybe a change of staff would be in order. The sad thing is Big Als 20 years ago was really good. Obviously standards have dropped. We will never order from Big Als again. Just a pity we don't have any decent take outs in Ballymena.

Just had Mississippi Bbq pizza and have to say best pizza I have had from anywhere in a long time. Base was excellent and so full of chicken and peppers etc. Will definitely be back again.

I’ve been ordering from big Al’s for years And think the food is really good and you get what you pay for but last few orders have been slightly wrong but just ate away and got on with it. Tonight I joked to wife wonder what we will actually get tonight and low and behold delivery driver appeared and said £21 I was like what and looked at receipt and said onion rings and the driver said “ nothing to do with me” so reluctantly I paid and gave him a piece of my mind but on hindsight I wish had just sent him away with food as was stuck with food I didn’t order I honestly think they need to hire someone who actually knows what customer service is as staff who have been there a while are really good but please don’t put ppl on the phone who are completely fluent! Needless to say I’ve had enough and won’t be wasting anymore of my hard earned cash again just hope it picks up for the rest of you guys.

Brisket and pepper sauce were lovely unfortunately I couldn't eat the fries or onion rings. Fries were soggy and undercooked, onion rings were breaded, frozen, soggy and bland. Whole meal looked like slop. More attention to detail, cooking times and presentation. £7.95 for brisket and pepper sauce. Sorry never again.

Takeaway open on a Monday evening !! Had the pulled pork and beans, the sauce was very rich and very sweet.

After giving BIG Al's a glowing review in the past, I cannot deny the food is excellent but their receptionist needs to go to charm school. I had my phone on silent as I ordered my usual which is a seafood medium. After I told him twice what pizza I required and he attempted to cut me off but I heard him say that I was a dirty get for ordering the said toppings. That's me finished with pizza from big all's. Sad, as I've been a customer for over 12 years.

Buffalo wings, ribs and fries. Only thing edible was the fries. Wings were half raw, and the ribs were so over-cooked I couldn't eat them. They wear like leather. Not good 😠

Salted chilli chicken pizza and dirty fries hard to beat

Combo meal was really good and tasty. In fact one of the tastier one's I've had in a long time. Would definitely recommend. Large pizza, buffalo wings, seasoned fries and 2 cans for £15.00.

Big Al's never fails to deliver on great tasting pizza. They also have an extensive menu available with lots of choices apart from pizza.

Great BBQ food...amazing burgers

Great BBQ brisket...and the pizza was a pleasant surprise as well with a thin crispy crust baked just right! But the brisket...best we've had in the UK. Sauce is not too sweet nor tomato- heavy but just the right balance to enhance the tender brisket. Priced to give good value. Seating is minimal and drinks are canned. Clearly designed first and foremost for takeaway but service is fast and friendly. A cold beer on tap would have made for a perfect meal but still gets top marks for this rather unassuming storefront eatery...highly recommend, especially for those traveling and in need of a BBQ fix!
