Benview Cafe & Restaurant in Stirling

Beautiful location, ample parking and very large selection of product. The staff are very friendly, know their products and extremely helpful. Plants are of a high quality and tools likewise. Full range of pet foods and accessories. There is much more for garden and indoors. This establishment has improved year in year out and looking to the future with novel thinking. Worth many visits!!!

Out for lunch service good ,food hot and a generous portion size.A very busy place,will be back soon.

It's not that big. But there is still a lot to discover; whether plants or decoration. Browsing through the Christmas items was particularly fun. And the employee (or owner?) was very welcoming.

Sadly too late to get food but the shop was lovely, cakes were good and lovely views.

Lovely visit, excellent soup and toasties and coffee from the cafe. Great selection of allergen friendly cakes! Table service was a little slow at times so we just went up to the counter. Lovely wander round the garden centre. Don’t miss the house plant room!

Bought so much here because the staff really knew their stuff. I got lots of advce on plants and bought beautiful Christmas decorations x

We love coming to Benview Garden Centre for lunch, which is always great and often leave with more plans for the garden! Where to put them. Never disappointed!

Garden center with a little gift shop. So glad to find a few things made in Scotland when I popped in while on holiday in Aberfoyle.

Good price for roses, especially the Peter Beales'. Staff were friendly and were knowledgeable. A lovely experience marred only by the small car we were using. If only I'd brought my van I could have had a field day!

En route to Callander we thought we'd enjoy the lovely views along with a bacon roll. In spite of the delicious aroma of bacon as we entered the building we were informed that it was 'too late' for a bacon roll. This was just after 11.30. Will never understand why any establishment refuses to do breakfast rolls after a particular time. We left and headed for Callander where The Bank was very happy to provide bacon rolls and very good they were too.

Really nice garden centre & cafe. Glasshouses full of their own home grown plants for planters/pots & hanging baskets. Great selection of plants, all the usual varieties large stock on display. Nice cafe with great views out towards Aberfoyle & the landscape beyond from a spacious seating area. Indoor & outdoor seating, good selection of food & beverages with daily specials served by pleasant helpful staff. Nice gift shop selling quality craft products & some fresh local produce also a pet shop on premises.

Walk past on a fairly regular basis, called into get a drink, seems like a decent place.

Nice to visit independent garden centres . Great plant range of well looked after plants and lots of garden equipment on show . Small non food section next to restaurant with interesting potential presents. We bought a mug and tea towel I hadn't seen elsewhere and a yellow magnolia for ourselves that we've no room for . Par for the course . Enjoyed a toastie and coffee in outside area as such a nice day and was impressed with price and quality of offerings . Will visit again .

Always stop here if I'm passing on the road for a coffee or something to eat or a plant...sometimes all 3! Fabulous gift shop you will find something for anyone special and they stock Rupert blaimire ceramics, I could stand and look at them all day...beautiful The garden centre always has that plant that no other one has, something just a little bit different you will find here

So nice to go to a garden centre that ‘s not part of a chain. Macmillan’s Kitchen never lets us down and the centre staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Fat service and great food. We went there for the plants but we always stay for cake and coffee 🙂

Went for an afternoon tea and the abuse we got was terrible all because we asked for our coffee which they forgot Avoid at all cost if you go. Go at the risk of Abuse being shouted at you with a full tearoom what an embarrassment. your customer service should be at its best if you want to keep customers coming back won't be back Wouldn't advice to go but everybody to their own 😡😡😡

Awful lunch. Twice in a row. Told the staff at the hill I was unhappy with the food but they still charged me full price. I went again to give it the benefit of the £8 for 2 slices of bread for an egg sandwich filled with egg shell. Soup was not as described. Very aggressive female owner.

Benview has a great range of plants at affordable prices - I get my hanging baskets every year and they are always complimented by all who see them! The staff are also very happy to give advice if you ask. thanks to this gem of a garden centre.

I love everything about this garden.. it has everything that one would need.. I love how generous the folks there are sharing their knowledge in tending to plants. The cafe and the gift shop are just perfect. This has been our must have pit stop each time we visit Aberfoyle. And each visit there are some plants and gifts that come along.

Nice place friendly staff, it's a lot bigger than it first seems has pet supplies also noted prices for items are more reasonable than some places. A nice meal with a nice view of two Shetland ponies and beautiful scenery. Lovely gift shop.

Fantastic service and food as always superb. Prices are very reasonable. Well worth a wee run out to sample the food and have a look round the fabulous garden centre area. We love stopping in on our travels in our motorhome for which there is plenty of parking.

Spent the weekend here at the lodge and it was absolutely great place, lovely pleasant people and the lodge was spotless as was the hot tub/jacuzzi, would recommend this place to a family as it's family friendly with lots of stuff to do and beautiful places to visit

We arrived at 3.25pm to discover that hot food finishes at 3.20 and coffee and cakes only till 5pm.We stated that we had travelled an hour and a half to get here so we were granted hot food. We had foccaccia with pastrami,cheese and gherkins with mustard mayo.This came with a lovely salad and home made coleslaw.Absolutely delicious.We then had lime and ginger cheesecake. Coffees are a bit expensive but nice and hot. Overall we loved the food.Really helpful staff.We sat outside where there are 2 areas to choose from. The bill was just over £30 for 3 of us. It is a lovely garden centre and coffee shop and the shop has beautiful items and food for sale. We were really impressed and will return.

We were driving the day after a friend's wedding in Callander. We stopped here for something to eat thinking it looked lovely. On our way to the door my husband grabbed some rubbish from the car to put in the bin. Accidentally he put them in the wrong bin and a staff member came running out and gave him a row, she was so rude to us. He apologised and asked if there was a general bin he could dispose of it in and she said "for your rubbish? No, take it back to your car!" while she mumbled and muttered under her breath at us. I understand we were in the wrong using the wrong bin but it's an easy mistake to make when outwith your usual council area. I was so taken aback at how she spoke to us as we were about to be customers, she turned her back to us and we just got in our car to find somewhere else that was more friendly and welcoming. Luckily we did and ended up having a lovely breakfast. Awful way to treat people.

A delightful restaurant on the road to Aberfoyle, well sign posted, it is also a typical Garden centre. I go there for the delicious menu on offer, from a sandwich to a full three course meal, there is easy access and good parking with both indoor & outdoor seating. All food is fresh and served by friendly and polite staff. I go at least once a month, the place is so good.

Fantastic garden centre! Has a great seasonal selection of plants along with a gift shop, and a wonderful cafe with delicious food. The plants are always in great shape and very reasonably priced. Can't recommend enough.

This is a great place. Huge selection of garden stuff, great range of pet food and accessories, a well stocked shop and great food and lots more.

Great range of plants and shrubs as well as gardening tools and pet and bird food. The deli/food shop is well stocked and the restaurant is a great meeting-up place with reasonably priced, flavoursome and wholesome food. Service is good, the coffee is good and there is a variety of cakes. Nice setting too, if you prefer to look out of the windows.

Love visiting Benview Garden Centre . Enjoy sitting in tearoom with beautiful views to capture attention from conservatory. Friendly staff, food lovely. No complaints. Today I had to advise staff. Seating area outside decking slippy.. I slipped and neatly fell. Risk assessment required..Staff member said its slippy..This needs to be addressed before someone sustains a fall. It's a hazard. I'm.a carer and assessed

Food was delicious, portions generous, price reasonable, staff friendly. Café and gift shop very nice but some gift prices exclusive. Nursery not the biggest but looks like they grow their own instead of buying in. There is also an intriguing antique shop and section containing pet supplies and miscellaneous garden items and chemicals. Nice friendly staff here too.

The best empire biscuit I've ever tried. I'll be back again to try the other delicious looking food.
