Bentley Fish Bar in Doncaster

Food tasted disgusting couldnt be eaten, tasted and smelt like paraffin, onion rings looked terrible, then phoned and apparently the manager only works friday and the customer service was DISGUSTING. Avoid dont waste ur money!!!!!!!

Chips were very greasy and undercooked and I didn't realise until I got home that is been overcharged by £5.00. It was my first visit but was disappointed. A Fish & Chip shop that can't cook Chips?!!!

Today I had fish and chips. As a chef I can tell that's the best fish and chips I ever have. The size of the fish surprised me was huge. The batter was nice and crispy. Fish was cooked to the top standard.Good value for money. The women who is working there is really friendly. 5 stars for her and fish. Definetely come back soon.

Unexpected family of 6 turned up this tea time, and guess what I hadn't been shopping this week. My neighbour suggested fish n chips from Bentley fish bar !! What a life saver and delicious and most importantly inexpensive meal had by all. My husband and I will definitely make this a place to visit more regular. The staff are very happy, pleasant and ever so recommendable. I recommend the tea time special ( Deliciousssssss ) All the family agreed that they hadn't tasted anything as good, even the 3 year old asked for more👍👍👍👍👍

I've been going to this fish and chip shop for over 20 years it's the best, great fish and chips also do kababs ect definitely worth a visit.

When we periodically return to the area, from our home in Greece, one of the first things my wife & I want is to have a "chippie" meal. Nicely presented and reasonably priced, I usually indulge in "whale", chips & radio-active mushy peas. My wife has a lady's porton, but with curry sauce. An occasional cholesterol overdose never did anyone any harm. A must every 6 months or so! Great grub!
