Food lovey as always, staff very friendly and helpful with recommendations of the specials which were a lovely change from the normal.

Went in place empty apart from one other party of 4. Sat down greeted menu board of specials brought up and ordered to non alcoholic drinks. Came to take order v quickly weren’t ready no bother but alas bar filled up forgot to call back take our order for at least 20 mins passed asked for bill. Guy behind bar v rude and was doing nothing but chatting to 2 other female bar staff and totally dismissive when I said we will pay for our drinks since we’re still waiting on food order being taken. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Bennett’s customer service has changed big time!

Feel free to discredit this due to it being a while ago (kept forgetting to post this) Over the summertime me and my partner came in for a lunchtime feed and the tall girl serving us seemed a bit abrupt and standoffish. I ordered the Chilli con carne with rice and chips, got it before under the old management and was lovely. Food came out with no chips, didn't say anything thought she was bringing it out shortly due to her hands being full. 10 minutes later after passing us I asked her about them and she said no you don't get chips with it, despite the chalkboard that was out when we ordered saying with chips (funny it mysteriously dissappeared shortly before our food came out) and them posting the same lunchtime specials on Facebook that said it included chips but of course with the signal being so bad inside I couldn't pull that up to show her (I checked when I got home and it definitely said with chips incase you think I've got dementia lmao) Whole experience felt like it was personal? She was quite rude about it and neither of us had seen her before in our lives. I even stopped the lovely older gentleman you always see working here about it and he even confirmed it comes with chips and was just as confused and promised to sort me out with the chips next time I'm in but honestly I haven't been back since after seeing so many others have similar odd experiences etc. Hopefully this has changed since then but I've no clue. Was probably eating my chips in the back or something. Food wasn't as good as it was with the previous owners either sadly, I get places change hands but it's sad to see things like this happen with somewhere that you called in quite often.

My daughter and I had lunch here on Friday, everything was beautiful, service was fast, very pleasant staff, surroundings very clean and comfortable. If in portadown again will eat here again.

Friendly staff lovely atmosphere

Had a great night the other day there with my friend, decided to come back next weekend and for no reason at all security didn’t let us in. We were nicely dressed, sober and had our ID’s with us and the security just said no Twice and didn’t even bother explaining why we couldn’t come in. Both of us had never experienced this type of treatment and really ruined our night.

Nice enough for a quiet drink during the week, just remember to bring your wallet, it is very expensive especially for cocktails! About £9 a cocktail! They also reduced the cocktail menu quite a bit. (Miss the Appletini's, Zombie and Candyfloss Martini) Decent place for a quiet drink but not somewhere for a regular social drink due to prices.

Overall not a good experience. No record of our reservation. Waitress didn’t know the bar menu. Disorganised. One staff member was extremely rude and inappropriate when leaving. We were quite shocked at the behaviour. Food was very average, poor quality. Went a couple of months ago and it was much better. Coleslaw seemed store bought and cheap.

Wouldn't let my husband in after Leaving to change our clothes after being guests of the hotel. Ps just because you stay in the hotel doesn't mean you get in. He had a few drinks and wasn't aloud in. Fantastic pub. Better than in England to be fair. Love the music, great People, friendly staff and meeting friends and great drinks with good price. Definately coming back again when visit Northern Ireland!

The Staff were very friendly. For lunch time the menu was quite extensive. My wife had the Chicken Stack and I had the Chicken Goujons and both dishes were superb.

It had been a few years since I had visited for lunch. I remember the food being very good back then. Have to say they are still making delicious lunches. I will be back very soon. Pricing is as expected for pub grub.

I've never had a bad meal here - really love going here for lunch and staff are so attentive. Food is always delicious and staff are really accomdating with walk-ins. Will be looking forward to going back soon!

Good place for groups. Pricey but keeps the chavs away. However this just attracts Deanos that scrub up nice to pretend they are something they are not occasionally. Is the go-to spot for people that peaked in high school it seems.

Booked in for lunch on Saturday, place was busy, staff helpful and the food was delicious. The chicken curry should be tried as I will certainly get it again.

Booked the day before for lunch at 2PM the following day. Show up, no name, no reservation. Told they have bookings already for people with no table. Won't be back, poor service all round.

Not a friendly place. I was a regular customer for 11 years, emmigrated for 5 years, came back and was treated like a complete stranger. Sad given the fact that the owners are the same.

Definitely racism, they only let local people in, depends who is in charge. The manager was at the door tonight and he was letting in only the local people. Tried to go out with my friends from here and I had to go home while they got in. The reason was "only tonight, we will let only regulars in". But he was looking at people's ID's to see where they are from and then saying" oh sorry only regulars in tonight". 😡

They are very racist , accepting only locals . Every time I tried to get in with my local friends they would tell me : Sorry only for regulars / locals

FIRST TIME in Bennetts for a light lunch today with the domestic supervisor - and I,ll have to say the highlight of my week. I had one of the best veggie stir fries I,ve ever had; my wife had an absolutely delicious prawn open sandwich. Then a home made apple crumble was shared between us, all served by very friendly staff at a reasonable price. Now we,re looking for an excuse to go back to Portadown at lunch time ASAP. The best lunch in Portadown, Lurgan or Craigavon. Chicken Strips are excellent. Great staff and very attentive. Tony and Niall are great owners.good crowd for drinks and not too packed. We've been going here for 15 years and will continue to do so.

When in on a saturday night bennetts wasnt busy but the staff couldnt have been nicer and if u ask for a drink they do a show for you in front of u i love the place i wud highly recommend

The food is nice but the staff and owner are not. Would recommend going there during the day for their food but would try to avoid it for a night out. Experienced quite a few times that the staff can be nasty.
