Benedicts Hotel Restaurant in Belfast

Me and my boyfriend went here straight after work to eat not drink but eat at the restaurant upstairs ! Bouncer said my boyfriend looked 'leathered' and he better watch himself in there. My boyfriend said what you talking about I'm only finished the work I haven't been drinking and I'm only going to the restaurant to eat not the bar and then the bouncer said I don't like your attitude yous aren't getting in. LMAO I just cannot deal. There were people standing outside smoking in tracksuit bottoms and scruffy trainers who had got in . Bouncer clearly had some sort of problem felt sorry for the poor critter but will not be back and family and friends won't be either... save your money theres nicer places who treat people with respect and don't serve microwave mash.. mwah xx

Nice atmosphere, we had a drink in the bar downstairs to begin with until our table booking time. music playing & nice staff. Went upstairs for our meal which was very nice only negatives were the breaded mushrooms wasn’t cooked enough for our liking and the naan wasnt grilled much but other then that lovely food and good price. Beef was very tasty! :) Salt & Chilli chicken, Breaded mushrooms,Daube Beef, Peppered Pork.

Went on saturday for the bottomless brunch. Amazing service and very attentive. Staff are so good. Highly reccomend!!! Food and cocktails top quality and staff couldnt do more for us 💜

Service was very good are waiter was called Joseph and he was lovely and went out of his way for all are request Only down fall was there cocktais were very watered down .

I have stayed dozens of time on business in Benedicts but my wife had never been. Having retired last year it was very much on her bucket list. We were not disappointed as it was as good as ever. We got a great B, B and Evening meal deal and enjoyed the food, the room, the hospitality and the legendary friendliness of this establishment. We will be back again for sure when things are back to normal

Reservamos para el almuerzo sin fondo, que fue excelente y un servicio increíble, pero luego nos dijeron que no pudimos conseguir una mesa en la planta baja debido a las "reglas del gobierno" (en un bar público antes de las 10 pm), es ridículo. Habla de ser codicioso. El gerente no se tomó muy bien que nos sentáramos en una mesa (donde un grupo de 16 estaban reservados a las 16, 30, 16, 40 ahora y no había señales del grupo). Puede que no sea su culpa, pero su actitud apesta. Si nos hubieran dicho que teníamos que reservar una mesa en la planta baja (a pesar de que se suponía que nuestra mesa original estaba reservada en la planta baja) la habríamos reservado. Cualquier otra llegada tardía a las 16. 45 su mesa habría sido regalada. De nuevo, NO IMPRECIADO

Absolutely lovely meal and drink service upstairs, when we went downstairs the bar staff were surly and ignorant and the doormen were overly aggressive for no reason ,won't be back and advise others to do the same

Nos alojamos una noche el 17 de septiembre, vinimos de Inglaterra y la familia organizó la estancia para mi 70 cumpleaños de mi pareja, la habitación era excelente, muy espaciosa. Nos reunimos en la planta baja para tomar unos cócteles que tenían un precio razonable, el personal fue muy atento, lo cual fue genial, ya que no se nos permitió ir al bar por razones obvias. También teníamos la comida reservada, que era para aproximadamente 8 de nosotros, repartidos en 2 mesas, la comida fue excelente, nadie tuvo la más mínima queja, fue muy buena considerando lo ocupados que estaban y todas nuestras comidas salieron a la misma hora, el desayuno también fue bueno, siendo realmente muy quisquilloso mi yema de huevo no estaba líquida, pero ¿eh ?? ‍ ??? ‍ ?? Gracias a todo el personal que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera agradable para nosotros ???

Me alojé en el hotel por una oferta de domingo. El personal del hotel fue muy acogedor y servicial, especialmente el miembro del personal Joe del restaurante que supervisó que obtuviéramos un asiento en el bar y también su nivel de servicio para nosotros fue increíble. . Recomendaría encarecidamente este hotel por su servicio y alojamiento.

Mi pareja y yo reservamos una mesa en Benedicts of Belfast para nuestra 1 noche en la calle desde marzo (covid).Sirvió bebidas y tuvo que esperar 45 minutos en la comida.El camarero nos informó que había habido una confusión en la cocina.Mi pareja estaba bebiendo cócteles.Se le dio uno completamente diferente al que ella había pedido.Pedí solomillo solo para ser servido Rump.Comprobé la factura al final de la comida para comprobar que se había añadido un postre que no recibimosNo fueron un par de horas baratas a los 80 +.Hemos estado aquí varias veces y disfrutamos de todo sobre el lugar.Pero después de esta experiencia tendríamos que pensar seriamente en regresar.

El personal era muy agradable y amable, no podían hacer más por nosotros. Habitación impecable con un ventilador ya encendido cuando llegamos a la habitación. Tuvimos 3 platos y desayuno en el restaurante. El servicio nuevamente fue de primera clase y la comida hermosa. Recomiendo encarecidamente Benedicts para un servicio de primera clase.

Magnífico asado dominical y solo 9, un poco diferente ahora con covid pero mejor porque pides lo que te gusta con ellos o en la aplicación y te lo traen. A ellos tampoco les importa que pidas más y todo el personal es muy amable.Me encanta la decoración interior y mucha gente para un buen ambiente.Postres increíbles y cócteles 4 todos los días por la tarde, así que vale la pena ir.

Pasé la noche en Benedicts y no puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de tiendas, bares y restaurantes. Las habitaciones son geniales con camas realmente cómodas. La comida es fantástica y tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio. fabulosa selección de cócteles y bebidas premium. Por último, pero no menos importante, el personal es excepcional, nada es demasiado problema, el mejor servicio al cliente. Acabo de reservar para regresar el próximo mes y no puedo esperar. Llamado hoy domingo 9 de agosto de 2020 volviendo del gimnasio para repostar.Primera vez aquí desde el bloqueo y me alegro de ver que estaban tomando las precauciones necesarias, además de un seguimiento y rastreo tomando su nombre y número de teléfono.Es genial verlos tomar primero el bienestar de los clientes / personal.Me alegra ver que es un servicio sin cita previa para conseguir una mesa y no se puede reservar por teléfono, y todavía están ofreciendo un servicio para llevar a las personas que todavía están protegiendo o quieren comer en casa.Decidí probar el Sunday Carvey y fue un poco diferente de lo normal, ya que no te acercas ni te acercas a la comida,Su servidor trae todo a su mesa y usted elige lo que quiere del menú provisto.Opté por rosbif, jamón y pavo como mis carnes y todos los lados excepto el puré.¡Qué alimentación! Excellent staff from front of house to the bar and restaurant staff especially Claire. we have stayed in hotels all over the world and have never had the service that was provided by all the staff could not recommend this hotel enough.

Mi esposo + acabo de regresar a popa en una popa fabulosa. Fue la primera vez que salimos desde marzo / bloqueo + Debo decir que estábamos un poco preocupados.Pero puedo asegurarles que no, a su llegada, las estaciones de saneamiento estaban en la entrada y en el mostrador de recepción al registrarse. El personal fue increíble ¿El equipo de Aisling +? Nos explicaron todos los nuevos procedimientos en plc, que tengo que decir que somos increíbles, reservamos nuestra mesa para comer esa noche.Nuestra habitación era increíblemente espaciosa, impecablemente limpia con menaje para preparar té y café, artículos de tocador, secador de pelo, etc.¿La cena estuvo excelente? personal excelente, ambiente eléctrico ??? Este es verdaderamente un "lugar de entretenimiento" para pasar la noche o simplemente reservar una cena.¿Estoy tan contento de que fuera nuestra primera salida, ya que nos ha hecho sentir tan cómodos con esta "nueva normalidad"? ¿Realmente espero otra visita pronto ???

Door staff are shocking, stay well away!, I was asked what I was doing “in or out” as in and stood waiting for a friend, as I’m sure you can see I’m typing this at 1.25am. Sober, this has just happened, after another person was clearly punched in the nose by the door staff (given their clear desperation to cover anything up/ brush it under the cover) total disgust in their bully behavuor, stay well away from this dodgy bar ! If management want to talk about the incident and how their “door staff” behave I would love to chat!

Normalmente no escribiría reseñas en las redes sociales, ¡pero tenía que escribir una reseña sobre nuestra experiencia! ! 4 chicas fueron el sábado por la noche sin reserva y después de ver lo ocupado que estaba el restaurante nos dimos cuenta de que no tendríamos ninguna posibilidad de conseguir una mesa, sin embargo, la señora de la puerta fue muy servicial y complaciente. una espera de unos 5 minutos. Nuestro camarero era amable y servicial, y aunque había muchas fiestas grandes, la comida era insuperable. Terminamos quedándonos por el resto de la noche, ¡lo pasamos muy bien! Definitivamente lo recomendaría sin dudarlo y espero volver muy pronto.

Sorprendente, este siempre fue nuestro lugar de visita durante la semana, y para las celebraciones de cumpleaños, pero después de 2 comidas malas ahora tendremos que encontrar otro lugar. .Pregunté por el cordero rosado, pero cuando llegó la carne no había descansado en absoluto después de cocinar la sangre que brotaba sobre las papas frías, el lado de los champiñones de ajo no cocidos y sin mantequilla de ajo sobre ellos simplemente sentado en el jugo de champiñones, la camarera me devolvió la comida y estaba horrorizado al descubrir que se había vuelto a hacer en el microondas y se agregó salsa "bisto". . . En realidad, no podía creer que ningún cocinero o cocinero pudiera aceptar comida de este estándar saliendo de la cocina. . . .la comida de mis hijas también es una vergüenza por el pollo cocido debajo de las cebollas cocidas y todo frío, algo ha salido muy mal aquí en los últimos meses, una brillante reputación no valdrá nada pronto, para agregar insulto a las lesiones en el proceso de pago que tuve que pagar todo excepto la comida de cordero. I don’t usually write reviews but use trip advisor for any holiday/city break I might take! I’m not sure where to start... the hotel is four star (definitely not) the hotel staff are lovely, both reception and restaurant! Honestly couldn’t fault them! We were booked in for dinner, restaurant full of rough hens! Literally it seemed to be nothing but hens! Loads of fights between guests! Needless to say to didn’t hang about after dinner! Breakfast.... food was awful and actually witnessed a woman getting breakfast in her pj’s and socks (no shoes!!) absolutely horrified!! Seriously!!! Room was very old and outdated, and blood and stains on mattress! Never again!!

Blast in Belfast we went here for my birthday dinner and had such amazing night food was great and cocktails wear amazing It’s a great spot on a Monday night at wasn’t manic but had a good vibe and live entertainment too. Epic deal on cocktails as from 7-10 only £4 each and they went down so well. Would certainly recommend to anyone. Staff where very attentive and very quick table service. On yea the shots where something else. Go for it you won’t regret it big thumbs up from.

Participated in a Cocktail class this evening as part of a team building day in work. Kris took us at last minute and we had a brilliant evening! Very interactive and good craic! Would recommend!

Fabulous food at very reasonable prices. We returned twice during our short stay because we loved it so much! The waiting staff were really friendly and had a great sense of humour. Would definitely recommend, 10/10!

Very disappointed. Service very poor. Floor staff didn’t know what they were doing. Bringing drinks to wrong tables on several occasions. Our order was took by a very unprofessional waitress with no manners. Starters served and no one asked how it was or did we need anything else. I had mussels and had no plate to put empty shells. Few waiters who brought food spoke very poor English and just pointed to food. We’re finished a good 15 mins before plates cleared. When we got mains same service again also was not impressed with food. Asked for a wine was finally given a small bottles without glass and had to ask twice for it. Understand it was NYE but was not overly busy with one section of restaurant not being used. Not b back

We visit benedicts for food regularly for birthday celebrations etc. We didn’t have a great experience the last time but still decided to visit. What a palava!! There were 7 of us. Starters came out 1/2 hr after ordering (we were first in)all good. Mains came out a further 1/2 hr after that. We were served and then all our food was taken away as it was for another table. The same food was served to us again. Complaints about the food were it was mainly not warm. Peppered chicken was dry and had been sitting a while, the sauce was coagulated on the plate as if it was in the microwave. Although we got beat the clock deal, the Guinness pie was a paltry amount to pay £14 for at peak time. A well done steak had partial blood in the middle, and a sirloin was served instead of a rump. All mains but the chicken was removed from the bill even though I hadn’t eaten half of the meal. I understand that it’s hard to deal with customers complaining but there seemed to be a lack of concern in general. It took 10 minutes for the manager to acknowledge us after the initial complaint, it also took a further 10 minutes to receive the bill, all we wanted to do was leave. We definitely will not be back for anything. It definitely ruined a birthday dinner.

Was quite disappointed at my experience in Benedict’s. Service was very slow, we didn’t get our drinks until our food came out. Order was wrong and the food itself wasn’t the greatest of quality or taste. Again, disappointing.

Absolutely disgusted. Sent kids beans back because the were stone cold. Sent 3 meals back because they were cold. When they were returned they were warmer but the bed of champ was just a spoonful. I complained and was told it was a garnish so not actually to fill me. Sent another meal back because it was cold again and came back with at least half a litre of gravy over it. Told waitress it looked more like soup than a roast dinner! Avoid this place as I still had to pay for the worst meal on earth times 3.

Had a family dinner here last week. Table of 10. The place wasn’t busy at all however the delivery of the mains was poor. Some of the table had finished their meals by the time the others had been served. Mains, sides and sauces were all delivered apart. There was a good 5 mins from the steak being ordered to the chips & then again 5 mins for the sauce.

Went here for our anniversary after having dinner as it was always a go to.

Love benedicts for a night out decided to stayed over this time. Rooms are lovely very clean, we got complimentary cocktails I recommend the martini espresso! Benedicts has great selection of music to suit young and older people it’s always a great atmosphere. The breakfast is delicious you can choose from a fry or selection of cereals and pastries. Carvery is also really good value great selection of dinners to choose from and lovely cocktails

Moving through a packed bar, the head bouncer aggressively motioned for me to stop. I apologised and simply proclaimed that I wouldn’t trample someone laying on the floor. He then insisted I leave and kicked me out. Other patrons who witnessed this advocated my innocence and told other security id done nothing wrong. However, they said it was the head bouncer’s decision. I understand he was dealing with an incident and he has a stressful job but if you can’t deal with minimal pressure, change job or retire, as kicking out well behaved individuals out for a quiet pints doesn’t look well on the establishment

Was in for lunch today and food and staff where amazing. Best food I've had in Belfast in a long time. Friendly staff made the place very welcoming.

2 night stay booked as a present for my birthday and as an anniversary gift the 1st night left me wanting to go home. Food portions very small and the room (which was an executive suite) dirty. I haven’t elaborated on the issues as the next day I told reception and they sent someone to clean the room. However despite the issues the staff are brilliant and if it wasn’t for them we would of left on the first night, Ashleigh and Emma on Breakfast are brilliant always busy but never too busy to look after the customers

Went here on sunday for lunch with my other half. We really wanted to get a sunday dinner while in belfast for the weekend. We called into Benedicts on Saturday to book a table and were welcomed by a lovely fella called Joe. He was very helpful and booked a table for us. We also got served by him when we returned on Sunday. The lunch menu is very good value and has a good variety of food. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. Would definately come back here again for Sunday lunch!!

Went here for dinner on Sunday, with group of 8 friends, during a weekend visit to Belfast.

We went for dinner here, six women including someone in a wheelchair. When we got there the doorman was really helpful in showing us where to go. We ordered cocktails which were superb, the Moulin Rouge was delicious. The starters are really tasty, but are pretty big and filling so when we got the main course we couldn't eat it all. It was really good food though. No room for dessert. The waitresses were really friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable evening.

Came to Benedict's as suggested by friends. and it never let us down once.

We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and found the staff to be extremely helpful and attentive. the food was well prepared and the staff were very nice.

Visited here on our first night, for the cocktails 4pm-10pm. A great selection served by very enthusiastic and friendly staff. The building itself is a lovely place to be, and we enjoyed it so much we booked the carvery for the next day! Ended up chatting to a couple of locals and getting some other recommendations too. A must visit if you're in that part of Belfast.

Group of 16 went for family dinner. Everyone ordered a variety of meals and everything was delicious. Our server Adam was excellent. Couldn’t do any more for us. Will definitely be back!

We stay here every time we are in Belfast. Brian took such great care of us this time, helping us deal with travel emergencies. We will stay here every time!

Called into bar after a christening on Sunday afternoon. Four of us girls arrived 1st and headed to bottom of room towards were toilets are located. We turned right and entered an alcove were I spotted an empty table of 3 which was the end one at the window. We took our seats about half 7 and our other 5 female friends arrived shortly after. We continued to purchase our drinks and dance and enjoy ourselves for approximately 3 hours until i noticed a girl who was very drunk who i spotted 4 the 1st time sitting at the middle table telling our company to move that these tables

We all had a room of our own booked it was big enough for us all to fit in.

Unlfortunately I made the mistake of adding this for the wrong Benedicts so this is now about a month old.

Very nice traditional setting (dont bother dressing up though). Order taken as we were seated, then food order about 5 mins later. Our starters like 2 minutes later, arrived before the drinks, which sends red flags of not fresh food. I had the chilli and salt chicken and my partner has the ribs. Chicken was chicken strips with sweet chilli sauce, not salty or spicy but still nice. I didnt like the ribs but my partner was happy with them. Within 5 minutes of our empty starter plates being cleared, our mains arrived!!!! We both ordered peppered pork fillet and it was absolutely gorgeous! Pork was melt in your mouth! We finished our mains and realised we'd only been there for 35 mins! Felt so rushed and wasn't given enough time between starter and main. We asked the waiter to give us 20 mins before the dessert menu, which he was lovely about. For dessert, I had lemon meringue cheesecake which I didnt enjoy but maybe just the wrong thing I picked and my partner had sticky toffee pudding which he said was lovely. I had a number of cocktails which were all really nice especially the fruit blast! Tip for everyone - you cant leave a tip if paying by card so make sure you have cash as the service was very good!

I cannot comment on the hotel section, but if if it's taste you're after avoid the bar at the weekends. It is distinctly unwelcoming with a bunch of what can only be described as what looks like ex-convicts hired as door staff. The welcoming reception may make you feel very intimidated and under surveillance. As for the customers, it is crammed full of chavs and people who have absolutely no dignity at all who have ventured from the inner city for a night out or who have been let loose on a weekend pass. All you see around you are old people making spectacles of themselves, desperately trying to act young only to be cringingly embarrassing. You see large women, plastered with trowels of makeup twerking and guys who would settle for taking home a granny for the night. The overcrowded door staff gives the distinct impression that the place needs a lot of security muscle.

Visité el asador hoy con mi hija. El camarero era agradable y rápidamente nos mostró una mesa. Ambos tomamos sopa como entrante y, aunque el sabor era bueno, no estaba caliente. Tuve el pavo y el jamón como plato principal. Esto fue insípido con relleno blando. El brócoli era blando y la salsa espesa y tibia. Las papas asadas sabían a sobras recalentadas. From the outside it looks fantastic but if you're staying within the establishment. Turn up after hours to gain entrance for the room you've booked and you don't fit the the door staff requirements then forget the overnight stay. Substandard door staff substandard review

He estado en Benedicts muchas, muchas veces para Carvery y Beat the Click en el restaurante, sin embargo, me siento obligado a dejar una revisión después de la visita de hoy debido al servicio recibido. Tomé un jubilado que visito semanalmente para un pequeño regalo, yo y mi hija. . . Joe nos dio la bienvenida y le pregunté si había alguna mesa sin subir los escalones, ya que Margaret no podía hacer nada con un bastón. . . Joe no solo nos hizo una mesa en la pista de baile, sino que le dio a Margaret un asiento cómodo y grande. . . haciéndola sentir especial. . . 7. 50 para dos platos de sopa y luego asado. . . Joe tomó nuestra orden de sopas y bebidas y sirvió la deliciosa sopa muy rápidamente. . . Dejé caer mi rollo y él rápidamente reemplazó esto con otro. . . siendo camarera, sentí que su servicio era impecable. . . La comida del asador estaba bien. . . se habían quedado sin pollo salpicado y no estaba disponible durante al menos otros 20 minutos, así que todos tuvimos que optar por Turquía y Jamón, que estaba un poco seco, pero por un Carvery y por el precio era caluroso y muy bueno. almuerzo de la tarde. Definitivamente recomiendo y gracias Joe por tu servicio.

Habíamos reservado para las 8 pm el sábado por la noche y el lugar estaba lleno de colmenas, así que es una buena señal. El servicio fue rápido y todos nos dieron bebidas y la comida se sirvió poco después de realizar el pedido. El problema era que estaba tibio y tenía un sabor insípido. No como mi experiencia anterior aquí en absoluto. Todo el personal era impecable y sonrisas, el aspecto de la comida era pobre. La próxima visita será entre semana cuando haya menos presión sobre los chefs y más énfasis en la satisfacción del cliente.

I was not happy with the service this evening as it was very slow. We had waited 3 hours for our starter, main and dessert to come out. When the starter ad cam out it wasn't as warm as what we had expected. The camp in our main was freezing and the dessert was not appealing at all. I didn't enjoy my time though the staff were lovely.

4 of us from the states visited this place for drinks after dinner in the Bontanic District. Great band and great music. Great service and beverages.

We had our engagement party here on Sunday 19th May and there is nothing we could fault. The food was beautiful, service was fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough for us from arranging mocktails for the kids and bringing in a surprise cake. The staff really made the day and we can't thank them enough. Well done!!

I came to this establishment on Sunday 19th May - for a quick pint before my flight back home. Upon entering the bar I was welcomed by an extremely friendly bar attendant with red hair who later introduced her self as Kerry as she was serving me. She was extremely polite and friendly and she made my brief stay there extremely pleasant. Would come back again just for the wonderful service

Visited Benedict's bar Belfast on 13th May 2019 had a great experience at the bar with a wonderful bar tender (the manager Brian) and all the other staff were lovely and helpful. Everyone was very knowledgable & Brian was very informed friendly, and was incredibly lovey and helpful in choosing drinks.

Cet hôtel a répondu totalement à nos attentes. La cerise sur le gâteau c’etait l’accueil de qualité et fort pertinent de Emma Louise qui parle un français parfait. Elle a été de très bons conseils pour les visites et autres besoins à satisfaire.

Emma Louise qui parle français nous a super bien accueillis. Elle nous a expliqué comment se diriger dans la ville pour voir les sites incontournables. Sa bonne humeur et sa gentillesse nous ont fait chaud au cœur. Les chambres sont très belles et spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner copieux varié. Le bar dans l’hotel est magnifique et nous avons eu droit à une boisson gratuite de notre choix sans restriction.Rapport qualité prix correct.

On arrival we were greeted by such a friendly receptionist named Emma Louise,who quickly checked us in and gave a voucher for a complimentary drink at the bar,we stayed for 4 nights and couldn't fault anything about this hotel,room was spotlessly clean,restaurant food and staff were amazing and so friendly,nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff (well done all of you) will deffo stay there again,can't wait to go back

Today 28/04/19 me and a friend went for dinner at Benedicts and we’re greeted by the most delightful member of staff with the name ‘Andre’ he was so beyond pleasant and lovely taking our order and offering other services to us, offering more drinks and desserts etc. It was a lovely experience and this gentleman should be rewarded! Had a lovely meal here with my cousins the food was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Stayed over on a Tuesday evening for business. The rooms are very pleasant and clean. The bar is vibrant and very popular with live bands (and no I didn’t hear in my hotel room) and offers such as £3.50 cocktails. Got a complimentary drink voucher on check in. Breakfast was very good too.

We called in here for convenience with no great expectations, but we were so wrong. The food was absolutely awesome and the service impeccable. I’ve been to most of the TripAdvisor top ranked restaurants in Belfast and Bangor, and this blows them away for quality and value for money.

We booked for the beat the clock menu and weren’t disappointed. Burger, chicken goujons, hake and cod all cooked and presented well. Excellent waitress service. Very friendly and obliging. Will be back very soon!! Would love to know the origins of this building!!

Have been coming annually for 10 years plus now. Hotel, food, drink & staff are excellent. No trouble ever groups families inc children are made to feel safe and welcome. Would recommend everyone visits Belfast and Benedicts Hotel.

Great spot for a night out. Cocktails are amazing and great value for money. Music to suit all age groups. Friendly bar staff.

Unassuming from the outside, but full of character and very friendly staff within. The carvery is brilliant for £9.95, soup, main and drink. Main consisted of several choices of meat or pasta, roast potatoes, champ, mash and chips, plus various veg and gravy or sauce. Pay in advance, receive your tickets and enjoy your food at your leisure, no rush. Will definitely be back!

Stopped here on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Best Sunday roast ever, gorgeous meat, stuffing, veg WOW. £10 well spent. Great staff (recommending better value drinks similar to what i ordered to save me a few quid, thank you!) Amazing puds as well and a great band on - all very good value for money as cocktails are £3.50 4-10pm 7 days a week!! Very cool decor too, absolutely not to be missed.

What an absolute shame I am having to write this. Appauling service for a Sunday afternoon. Beautiful food, beautiful place. But one staff member turned it all sour by his awful approach/customer service and then as a customer being told that "I was rude" because I pointed out that we had not been given full instructions on how to order and pay etc...never in my life have I been called rude. I am not at all, he needs training in manners and approach to people who are in the middle of eating. He made us feel like we had done something wrong and also like he was doing us a favour, No we were paying customers. Never had service like that. And I'm sorry I have to give a bad review just because of that one person having the wrong approach to customers. I would suggest he finds another career.

Group of 12 stayed here for the champagne Sunday deal.... from start to finish this stay was fabulous.

Had a great day in Benedicts. The food was gorgeous and staff were lovley. We went down stairs afterwards to the bar and there was live music. The cocktails were great and only 3.50 until 10.00. The bar staff were lovley especially the barmaid Maria. She was very helpful and patient. Will definitley be back.

Always a warm and welcoming reception from hotel staff. Have added lights in room at cupboard area towards bathroom that are sensor activated which is welcome when moving about in dark at night, not too intrusive. Room is well sized and comfortable. Safe in room and thermostat control if you need it adjusted. Foldable iron board and iron in room which is a little awkward to navigate but useable. Hairdryer in room also. I think due to offer on hotel dining and breakfast were busier than I have experienced before. But disappointed when having asked for a fresh pot of tea due to long wait at breakfast I was brought another pot, but I am assuming it was the old tea bag because after five mins of squeezing, stirring and waiting the water did not colour at all very grey unappetising tea which I couldn’t use. Not quite the experience I have been used to in Benedicts so hopefully just a one off.

Start to finish the staff, food , rooms,everything first class ! we did the cocktail class then had our meal,and entertainment it was def a fabulous location an i cudnt recommend this place enough food was delicious il def be back

Buen ambiente y mucha gente irlandesa amable, pero a los bouncers les gustaba mirar a la gente cuando estaban usando el inodoro y si miras, verás una cara de los bouncers mirando por encima de la parte superior del cubículo y nos puso a todos fuera del lugar, así que nos fuimos. y se fue a otro lado. Cuando llegamos a los taxis, los conductores nos decían que no deberíamos haber ido allí y que tiene mala fama.

Mi marido y yo nos quedamos por regalo para mi cumpleaños. ¡Y no defraudó! Desde el registro hasta la salida disfrutamos cada minuto. Las chicas en el check in hicieron el check in muy fácil y las habitaciones estaban impecables, muy limpias y ordenadas. Definitivamente regresaré el año que viene, si no pronto para otro mini descanso. Muy recomendable y sin estrés, gracias a todo el personal encantador que hizo que nuestro viaje fuera tan agradable.

Nos alojamos en el hotel para tener un descanso, optamos por el paquete de 1 noche que incluía una comida de cuatro platos, la comida era para morirse. Para empezar, los dos comimos pollo salado con chile, filetes y yo comimos pudín de toffee pegajoso de principio a fin, la comida, el personal y las bebidas eran perfectos, no es frecuente que un lugar golpee el clavo en la cabeza cada vez. Bien hecho BENEDICTS! ! !

¡Visité hoy los bendicts para que el camarero les informara a un asador que solo les sirven los fines de semana justos! ! Y había un menú de almuerzo para elegir, no de una gran selección y la comida estaba clasificada, mis hijas se veían y sabían como si estuvieran calentadas en el servicio de microondas era tan lento que pensé que iba a dormirme. ¡Bendicts ha bajado la comida de la colina y los guardias nocturnos son muy groseros! !

I never write reviews but these guys truly deserve one. We went for a New Years trip and found this place on our last day. Top class service from Brian and Chloe. We have never felt so welcome in all our life. Brian mixed us some lovely drinks and the food was top notch and all reasonably priced too. What a lovely atmosphere the staff created, the best way to end to our trip. We will always return to Belfast and will most definitely choose this hotel next time. Keep winning guys!

The food was great. The staff were great but oh my the crowds were horrendous. We were the 6pm seating so when we left our table to go downstairs and the lol sitting had not yet been seated you could not move. I've never seem crowds like it. Obviously it's a credit to the bar but it was a nightmare for us.

I have never written a review before but after last weekend at Benedicts I feel I have to.

What a place this is! The service was unbelievable. Both Alex and Martina made sure that we wanted for nothing! The order was taken with enough time for deliberations and food served in no time! Constantly checked to ensure that we both were satisfied! Could not recommend this place highly enough! Well Done Folks!

Myself and 2 other couples stayed here at the weekend and completely regretted it.

Mi compañero y yo decidimos una noche de domingo como una opción de último momento para salir a cenar, decidimos con Benedicts ya que estaba cerca. No me decepcionó en absoluto, la comida era fantástica y una relación calidad-precio increíble.

So went for work lunch there. Odd waiter asked if would like a drink.. Ofc , but later got confronted coming out of the toilets and informed I had apparently had enough. I was weary of this so had began drinking water to try and counterqxlct this.

12/12/18 I came to Benedicts on a night out with my fiancée and basically the food was stinking the chicken was dry and under seasoned, my fiancé’s Gravy and turkey was cold they offered her new done and it was also cold customer service was disgusting and they were just rude definitely won’t be back

We have been going to the restaurant for over 18 years, every time we come to Belfast we always call in for something to eat and it always has been great. Unfortunately after last night we will think twice about going back. I ordered the garlic mushrooms which were served on toasted bread. I couldn’t cut the bread!! It was changed for me and I then got the salt and chilli chicken, which was just ok. For main I ordered duck with noodles. The duck was poor, skin not crispy and noodles tasteless. Very disappointed, not once was there an apology offered. I just hope it was because the restaurant was busy with Christmas parties but we will need to think long and hard before going back

When I travel to Belfast I always eat here....Its brilliant food and a brilliant atmosphere..Go before 7pm and many dishes have money off.... The cod or chicken & chorizo in a cream sauce is sublime...

Can’t go wrong with this place! Food is fantastic and cocktails are out of this world. Downstairs is also good on weekends. Suits couples, family’s & friends!

Just back from another amazing night in benedicts usually it's just me and me husband stay here but this time we took the kids as we were taking them to Disney on ice the hotel room we were given was great for me and me husband and 2 girls to stay the room was spacious so clean suited our needs perfectly.as usual the staff were amazing and really went out of there way in maKing a fuss out of the kids specially the girls at reception they loved it. Food as usual was amazing a must stay for anyone looking for a homely break away this is why we don't price anywhere else. Chanade and James Mcdaid

Just leaving after a great overnight stay with friends , food was amazing and we had a lovely lady Ruth who couldn't do enough for us, service was amazing and we will definitely be back
